The Best Argentinian Restaurants In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With another location in DTLA, this order-at-the-counter spot in Koreatown formats Argentinian asado into a fast-casual operation. Apart from one very boring side salad, everything on the Aca Plate makes us very happy. The sides of black beans and rice are warm and rich, the pork belly has a crispy coat around its fatty bits, the beef rib glistens with juices, and the smoky chorizo makes an audible snap when you chomp into it. If you're looking for something else to round out your meal, get Aca's beef empanadas stuffed with a spicy sofrito that will inevitably dribble down your chin." - sylvio martins

Aca Grill Review - Koreatown - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Now with two locations in DTLA and Koreatown, this fast-casual spot has a straightforward menu of delicious things like grilled asada, pork belly, and Argentinian chorizo with lots of pimentón flavor coming through. These cuts come right off the grill and get plated with the standard side salad, but also some very good rice and beans that round out the salty spread. We also can’t get enough of Aca’s Brazilian pão de queijo that comes out warm and chewy from the oven, or their empanadas that are generously stuffed with everything from gooey cheese and corn to ground beef cooked in savory sofrito." - Sylvio Martins

12 Delicious Places to Get Golden Brown Empanadas in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"This Koreatown spot is exactly where to go when looking for fast-casual BBQ during a lunch break. Their generous plate combo comes with your choice of Argentinian-style asado, spicy chorizo, or tender pork belly, but make sure to still leave some room for their excellent empanadas. These hand pies come baked with a thin, flakey crust and a saucy ground beef filling with plenty of tomato and onion. The empanadas’ flavors pop even more once dunked in Aca Grill’s vinegary chimichurri sauce for that extra kick." - Sylvio Martins

Google
I recommend getting the aca plate with just asado ($17). Pork belly was not that good, and the chorizo was just okay, but the asado was really good. The chimichurri was amazing and I recommend buying more! This place is a cozy, humble, family owned restaurant. There’s okay parking in the lot.

Google
Delicious Argentinian style BBQ. I got the mixed plate No. 2 which has more meat than mixed plate No. 1. The plate comes with Asado, Pork Belly and Chorizo plus rice, beans, corn and salad. This will definitely fill you up. Nice cozy location in Korea Town. Give it a try the next time you're in the area.

Google
We got food for a group of 15 delivered, including the family packs, large Paella, empanadas, etc. and it was fantastic! Beef was super tender and delicious, sausage and pork belly were good. Paella was great too. It's not cheap but the quality is worth the price.

As a tourist (Queens, NY represent), I'm always on the prowl for the best eats in town. I'm not referring to over-hyped "Instagram-worthy" spots - I'm talking about mouth-watering hole-in-the-wall spots with slightly sticky checkered picnic tablecloth and an overwhelming amount of plastic utensils at the counter. When a trusted food advisor described Aca Grill as a bomb Argentinian BBQ spot owned by Koreans (that's my people), I knew I had to give it a shot. I ordered 'Aca Plate No. 1', which comes with melt-in-your-mouth asado, smoky chorizo, perfectly crunchy pork belly, rice, salad, & beans. Basically everything perfect in this life. I need more. What makes or breaks a dining experience for me is the hospitality. Knowing I was a first-timer (staring at the menu for 10+ minutes must've given off that vibe), the owner treated me like royalty. What do I mean by that? She made genuine conversation with me while packing me an empanada & cheese ball on the house - I consider this royalty. Jokes aside, I'm convinced she is the sweetest person on this planet. I'm all about supporting delicious small businesses that are intentional with building relationships with their community - that's what builds customer loyalty. When I'm back in LA, my first stop will not be In-N-Out *dramatic pause* - it'll be Aca Grill. There's also a 100% chance I'll be back tomorrow before my flight.

Google
unhygienic, the lady took the empanada with her hand, put it to heat, then took cash and then took the empanadas with her hand again without gloves, I threw them in the trash, disgusting

Google
Food is good, little expensive. I had a lunch plate that was only meat (few pieces) and salad, the other plate was meat, pork belly and chorizo, one perrier water and one soda $45..I think you can choose all you can eat in this area for the same money.

Google
The food was delicious! You should definitely give this place a try. The prices are also reasonable.

Yelp
Very good quality Argentina style meet. I don't think you can beat that anywhere else close by. Owners are very nice. Small place, only take out

Yelp
Been going here for years now and if ACA Grill is one thing, they're consistent. Every time I get the meat plate, it hits the spot. I'm on a diet right now and opted for no rice and they were kind enough to replace it with more salad for no extra cost. The couple who run it are so sweet!!! It is a little pricey but doesn't hurt to treat yourself sometimes. You can even call your order in for pickup which is the usual move for me.

Yelp
Asada is crazy!! Def get the cheese balls too. A satisfying meal with beans, cucumber and tomato salad, plenty of rice and meats. The sauce has a little kick too which adds so much flavor to the meal. Take-out only, but still fresh and delicious!

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't been to this mom & pop shop yet in all my time living in LA! The owners (I'm assuming) are friendly and there's that charm when you walk in where you can tell this place has been around for many years. They just do takeout and the food was prepared fresh and quickly. Though it may seem a little pricey, you have to come try for the flavors!

Yelp
Asado is the key to my heart - one of the top Argentinian cuts of beef short ribs - deliciously layered with a little fat on both sides, just enough to take you into umami paradise. The meat is good. It will leave you wishing for more, no matter how much is on your plate. I wish they would have included Chimichurri but this is replaced with a vinegar-like, clear hot sauce. Clearly, the Asado is the star of the show and sadly, everything else is just kinda, you know, back up. The rice fails. It felt a bit dry and although I couldn't taste it, my wife stated that there was a "crayon" aftertaste. Her palette is very sensitive so I believe her. I just thought it was really dry. The black beans were sad. I just really wish a bit of TLC was given in prep and execution. Seriously, I don't think it would be too difficult for black beans to taste good. It just needed more oomph. The rice and beans, which is an important pairing for this type of cuisine, both failed like a mismatched pair of ice skaters vying for gold at the Olympics. They include a salad that just makes you want to cry. A small bed of canned corn, two slices of cucumber, and small cubes of tomato. The meat was good but personally for me, side dishes are just as important. Fix this aspect of the dish and you have a winner.

Yelp
This place is crazy good. Nice owners and great quality.. i will visit again for paella

Yelp
This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Consistently amazing quality. I always get the combo with extra meat (asado and pork belly). Sauces and hot sauce I loveee. Absolutely hits the spot every time!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place forever. Placed an order over the phone and it was ready for pick up in 20 min I ordered the ACA plate combo 2, which comes with more meat, dozen cheese balls, and an empanada. Total came out to $33. Understandably, with inflation, prices are a bit higher but this easily fed 2 people. The combo plate comes with slices of asado, sausage, and pork belly over a bed of yellow rice and sides of black beans and tomatoes and corn. A side of chimichurri comes with that goes really well with the meats. The cheese balls had a nice cheesy taste with a texture similar to pao de queijo. I like to cut it in half and put a slice of sausage so it's like a mini slider. The beef empanada was really good, well seasoned, and stuffed well. My only wish is that it was bigger. The parking lot is small and shares with other businesses so I can see it being a slight problem during peak hours, so call in for pick up. Service was really nice and friendly. Support your local mom and pop businesses!

David L.

Yelp
The worst service I ever had. I went to pick up my order, but had to wait 40 minutes. The owner never apologized for the delay and when I asked for extra sauce because they only gave me 2 sauces even though I ordered more than $300 worth of food, they charged me extra $10. It was one of the worst experience I've ever had. When other customers walked in to order the food, the owner rudley tell them they are not taking any orders. You are welcome to try this place if you want to ruin your day.

Yelp
My husband and I moved into the apartment building next door and needed a quick bite to eat. Found aca grill on Yelp and decided to give it a go. I had low expectations but this place sure hit the spot. We loved the simplicity of the food yet how well done it was. We liked it so much that we decided to go back the next day. We got the #1 combo plate and have only been getting that. Great char on the meat. Rice and sauce are also delicious.... Also speedy service! Definitely will be a core spot for us in ktown when we want a quick but delicious meal.

Yelp
One my of favorite restaurants in k-town! I have been going here for years. I never get sick of this place. There is a small parking lot that it shares with other restaurants. Since covid, they only do togo orders. I usually order in advance over the phone as sometimes it can get busy. I always order #1 which comes with 3 types of meat of asada, pork belly, sausage and rice, beans, and salad. I think the portion can be a little small for guys as my portion is pretty big for my size and the meat portion is usually not enough for me. There is an option for bigger size if you pay more. The plate comes with a chimichurri sauce and I usually add hot sauce which is a little extra. Definitely not a fancy place but their foods are really really good and I never get sick of it.

Yelp
Craving a taste of South America? Look no further than ACA Grill in Koreatown! This Argentinian spot offers a delicious and authentic experience, focusing on the art of the asado - Argentinian grilled meats. The star of the show at ACA Grill is undoubtedly the grilled meats. They offer a variety of cuts, from juicy steaks like vacio (flank steak) and entraña (skirt steak) to flavorful sausages like chorizo. Reviews rave about their chorizo and provoleta (grilled cheese with provolone cheese) combination, but you can't go wrong with any of their options. No Argentinian asado is complete without chimichurri, the flavorful sauce made with parsley, garlic, olive oil, and vinegar. ACA Grill's chimichurri is the perfect complement to their grilled meats. It's tangy, flavorful, and adds a wonderful brightness that cuts through the richness of the meat. ACA Grill is a must-try for anyone looking for an authentic Argentinian dining experience in Koreatown. Their perfectly grilled meats, delicious chimichurri, and classic Argentinian sides create a flavorful and satisfying meal. Just be prepared, this place might become your new favorite spot for a taste of Argentina - trust me, it's that good!

Yelp
All food, nothing else matters. She was fast and she gave me more than I expected. The parking lot is small so it depends on what time of day you go to get the food. I got the #1 mixed meats and the meats were so flavorful and the fat melted off of my mouth.

Yelp
My go-to spot for Argentinian bbq! This place is a mom and pop run by a cute Korean couple that are very friendly and nice. Also, this place has been around for years, since I was a student so you know it has to be good! The prices have been steadily increasing which is a shame but so have meat prices so it makes sense.

Yelp
This is my Fav place to grab food to go that is so tasty and is literally fresh each and every time I have been it never fails. Their food always taste so good. I always go for combo A and B when I'm really hungry. This place cooks their food with Love for sure. Also their portions are perfect. It is a bit pricey but so worth it. I love ACA grill it's the Bomb!!!!!

Yelp
Delicious food and lovely service every time! Food made in 15 mins or less and the chimichurri is BOMB This is my favorite spot~

Yelp
ACA Grill is that effortless thinking, "I'm hungry, want something tasty and good, but I can't think of what to eat." ACA Plate - Pork Bely, Asada, and Sausage over rice. It's a balanced meal for its price. A serious bang for your buck. Served with a side of chimichurri -- yum!! It's tangy, it has that acidity and bite that just melts with the fattiness of the meat. Rice can be kinda meh, so is the salad, and beans -- but honestly, it's better than no salad, or paying extra for a weak salad anyways.. so I'll take it. Pao de Queijo -- Cheese bread. Again, hit or miss. When you get it fresh, you can taste the funky cheese, and the crunchy-mochi texture is to die for -- a slight cronch on the outside and floofy airy inside. BUT! If you get not fresh can be very hard, bland, and papery. The marinated meat was a really good alt option. First time getting! Wasn't too overtly soy saucy, nor was the meat dry -- good chew! The onions and peppers added a lot of flavor, but not overbearing. Not my first choice, but if I was sharing a couple plates, this could be an ok alternative! I still haven't tried enough for write a fuller review, but to say the least, their food is yummy. I'd eat it. Would I rave about it to all my friends? If they're in the area looking for a easy-decision takeout meal, yeah, it's good. But, not something I could give a whopping 5-star for. Do still go tho!! 8.8/10

Yelp
For Argentina BBQ with a Korean twist. Take out only except for one table. Part of a small plaza that has free parking but limited spots. The beef and pork belly were good and so were the salad sides and rice. Pork belly is crispy and the beef is tender. The service was very kind and quick. If I were nearby I'd stop by again, but I do prefer Pampas meats more and they have seating. Overall a good option for South American meats!
google avatar

Yelp
Aca grill is great and simple. You're going to get what you expect to get, well-prepared meat. I've never been disappointed here. It doesn't overcharge too much. Now, if you can cook this yourself, it'll be way more bang for your buck, but if you can't, this place is a gem for you.

Esther K.

Yelp
Used to go to ACA all the time when I was younger. I recently went back and noticed they no longer do sit in - I think after the pandemic, they only do togo orders now. Parking is limited and finding street parking in this area is a bit difficult. I'm sad to say that the food quality for the price is closer to a three star but the owner is always so friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

Yelp
Korean-owned Argentinian bbq in Ktown. This is one of my favorite restaurants to grab a quick bite. My go to order is the Aca Plate No. 1. My personal favorite beef is the asado, but all are really good. Make sure to add the green sauce for some spicy kick to your food. The cheese balls are so good with your meal as well. Good prices for great food.

Yelp
Love this spot, whenever i get this, it never fails me. Its so simple but it packs so much flavor. I always get extra chimichurri (house made). Highly recommend ACA if you're ever in LA.

Yelp
ACA Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Ktown. The fact that they have South American food here is pretty exciting! ACA is just like a hole in the wall place, it's very lowkey and very small but it's the best! If you like grilled meats the Argentinian style, this is your place to go to, or if you are looking for M Grill similar food on a budget. Staff is friendly and the owner is also the one cooking all the food and he's a pretty cool guy! The menu is very small but it's basically just pick your meats and the quantity and every single option comes out as the special plate with rice, black beans, salad, tomato, and some corn. I always get the carne asada plate (small) and he meat melts in your mouth. It's absolutely delicious. Be careful with the hot sauce, especially the red one. It's pretty hot. And if you get a chance, try and order the cheeseballs too! I've brought my boyfriend here, my coworkers, my friends and everyone I bring is pretty impressed! I'll continue to come here as long as it's open and introduce more people to Argentinian cuisine!
google avatar

Yelp
Huge fan of Argentine food and what an interesting place for a whole in the wall "Argentine" place in Koreatown. Since it's so close to home I had to give it a shot. My friend and I ordered the Aca Plate #1 and I got all three meats to give a try. The asada and pork belly were DELICIOUS. The chorizo wasn't classic South American / Argentine Chorizo (at least to my knowledge) and I would skip next time and just get more asada or pork belly. The rice and beans were very plain and home cooking, beans definitely black beans from a can. The salad dressing was good! Overall, was a decent meal- the meat obviously the star (Brazilian cheese bread was good too. Empanadas not bad).

Cathy S.

Yelp
Not too salty, not too bland, very tasty perfect homemade-like food with good ingredients. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Best Argentinian bbq in ktown. Don't forget to try out their hot sauce too! Make sure to eat it when it's still hot.

Yelp
ACA Grill is one of my favorite takeout spots in Koreatown! The prices are a not cheap, but that is expected for a plate of meat these days. In a plate there is asada, sausage, pork belly, black beans (one of the best black beans), rice, and a salad, which are all amazing! Although it doesn't happen very often, the last time I was here, the pork belly was a little dry, so they can be a little inconsistent at times. However, when they get it right, it is the best meal! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Mandy A.

Yelp
Easy place to get quick and decent food. However, this is good for pick up and to -go orders cuz they only have tiny space and few tables. Their combos are really cheap and decent quality. This place is perfect for quick grab.
google avatar

Jina S.

Yelp
They raised their price a bit from the 1st time I came few years back but I think it's still worth it! The most popular order is #1 where you get rice, beans, veggies and for meat you get all 3: chorizo, asado and the pork. All the meat have good flavors and the asado especially is so tender, but the trick I learned from my friend that I forgot to do...is to ask for #1 without chorizo to get a few more pieces of pork and asado. The chorizo is good but I'd rather have more of the other meats. Cheese balls aren't bad either. Compared to cheese balls I've had before, the color is more orange so I think they use more of a cheddar or stronger cheese. And I love that I could get Guarana here! They do have a small lot for the small plaza but it can be limited during busier times. Otherwise it's street parking. Also, when I went, it was cash only. Not sure if that's their usual or temporary.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to get a quick bite in Ktown LA. Ordered with the cashier and picked up the food in about 12 minutes. Combo #1 w/ beef (asado), sausage, and pork belly.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
I love this place. My usual is the #2 plate, all asado. As other reviewers have said, the asado is to die for. This is a family-owned and operated business. I hope they make it through this really tough time in history. The family members here are very nice. They're very focused on getting orders in and out, so on some days you may not get the ridiculous Ritz Carlton service that some idiots on here for some reason expect. During Covid, I recommend that you call in your order in advance, as it can sometimes take 30-45 minutes for them to prepare for you. If that's also something you want to get bitchy about, my guess is you need a therapist and prescription medications at minimum. For my usual #2 plate with all asado, the cost is $19.99 plus tax. It's not totally cheap, but the meat is amazing. For everyone bitching or nitpicking about price, just go somewhere else and settle for lesser beef. During Covid, I've tried giving 35% to 40% tips, as this family is dedicated, works so hard, and puts up with so much unnecessary crap from customers and Yelp reviewers. However, the mom essentially never accepts the tips! I think that's really great about her. If you've never tried ACA Grill, and you love slow cooked beef, you need to at least sample their asado.

Jameson H.

Yelp
Ordered take out on Thanksgiving and couldn't be more disappointed. The quality of the meat was dry, burnt, and old...definitely been sitting outside for a while. The rude owner lady should have thrown it away instead of serving it to customers. Shame on you ma am.

Yelp
YUM ok I understand the hype of ACA Grill now! I was scrolling through Postmates one night and found ACA Grill. Some of my friends have been before and raved about the Asado, so I ordered it immediately. I ordered the ACA Plate #2 (All Asado). Yep I definitely played a gamble with all asado instead of a mix of the 3 meats (asado, chorizo, pork belly), but I'm glad it paid off! The food was in a Styrofoam container and pretty heavy actually. The Asado came with rice, beans, salad, and 2 types of hot sauce. One bite of the asado and I was in love! It was perfectly tender and flavorful without being too salty. Even though I still haven't tried the chorizo and pork belly here, I'll definitely reorder all asado next time since it's so tasty! Everything else on the platter was pretty standard. I really enjoyed the hot sauce as well, which was actually really spicy. Think Halal Guys red sauce lol. My plate was around $18 and was a little pricey, in my opinion. However, the meat was good quality without being too chewy. If it weren't for the highish prices, ACA Grill would no doubt be a 5 star restaurant for me. But alas, we are in LA and rent prices are high. Oh well. I'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Liz C.

Yelp
Prices have increased and you get less food than ever. I've been eating at Aca Grill for years and its not the same quantity. Not worth the high cost anymore.
google avatar

Eun H.

Yelp
Food is great. Been ordering from them on a weekly basis during quarantine. I always get 1/2 pd porkbelly, 1pd Asado. I also grab 1 tub of chimichuri. Their chimichuri is good but its inconsistent- last time it was too sour that I couldn't eat it. I also grab their medium sized rice and 1 dozen of cheese balls. I do not get the combo since their beans and salad is mediocre. Also dislike the canned corn. Its a solid place. Theres nothing like it. I knocked off a star due to their poor customer service especially on the phone. She is aloof, abrupt and unfriendly. I tried many times to be super friendly but she doesn't change. I highly recommend you call 20-25 min in advance. Or else, you will end up waiting for a while. Another reviewer mentioned that their plate #1 is enough for 2-3 meals. It's unrealistic. I am 5'7, 120pound girl and I finish plate #1 in one setting. Their portions are filling but not large enough to last couple of meals. You cannot get multiple meals out of plate #1 unless you eat super tiny portions.

Yelp
I know what a lot of you may be thinking - Argentine BBQ in Koreatown? But get past that initial hesitation and try it for yourself and you'll see that this place knows what they are doing. When I crave BBQ, I usually go to Pampa's Grill. When I first found about ACA GRILL, I was already thinking of heading to Pampa's when I saw ACA GRILL on Yelp. The pictures looked great, portion sizes looked very fair, the meat looked like what you'd get at Pampa's. (YES I KNOW ARGENTINE BBQ IS DIFFERENT THAN BRAZILIAN BBQ) ACA GRILL is located in a mini strip mall with other restaurants/stores, and there's hardly ever any parking inside the lot. If you're just picking up your order, I would advise you to just park on the street and keep your blinkers on while you grab your food and come back- or you can just turn onto the residential streets on either side of the mall and leave your car with the emergency lights on. JUST DON'T TAKE LIKE 15 MINUTES. I've come here countless times now and I've actually come here more often than Pampa's. The traffic to get thru to the Grove, parking, the longass line at Pampa's, & paying $25-$30 for just a couple of more different cuts of meat just isn't worth it to me anymore. Their meat is ALWAYS cooked perfectly - they actually do have multiple kinds of meats, & ALL of them have been consistently delicious. Their sides are colorful, light, fresh and tasty. The portion size is also really well done - I'd say the portion size you get here would cost you about $25 at Pampa's. Their prices are fair for the amount of food you get, as well as how fresh the food is and the quality of the food as well. THEY ALSO HAVE THE CHEESE BALLS! If you're a Pampa's fan, you JUST might start coming here more often when you need a quick fix instead of having to do all that extra waiting, paying, standing at Pampa's. BUT, Pampa's has a big selection of Brazilian meats where they have them on slabs & cut onto your plate while ACA doesn't show you the slabs. (They do have similar cuts though) (I KNOW ACA GRILL IS ARGENTINE/ USE DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE ANIMAL VS BRAZILIAN - but in some weird way, ACA GRILL WILL fulfills my BRAZILIAN BBQ craving) Trust me on this and get over to ACA GRILL and you'll see what I mean about how even though it's Argentine BBQ, it somehow works when I need my Brazilian BBQ fix)

Yelp
Amazing pop and mom shop! I highly recommend for anything in the area and those missing authentic south american food. The cheese ballz wont melt in your mouth as yall are used to, but instead will blast its lasting flavors resonating with the asado. Prices are up slightly but nothing too surprising thinking of how much meat they pack in their containers.

Yelp
I've been a fan of this place for a while. I almost always get the combo plate no.2. Their asado and pork belly are both very tasty. I think asado is the best though. Their cheese balls are pretty good too. I haven't tried their other menus, so today I got little more adventurous and tried something else but the only downside with this place is that their menus are somewhat not very flexible or well-understood of needs of customers.. For example, all their side orders of meat are super expensive and they don't have a small 1 person portion add on for extra meat. So if you want extra meat, almost always just have to go with the combo number 2 and cannot explore other menus and try to add stuff. One more side note is that their younger owner who picks up the call sometimes sounds very frustrated, negative, or angry... the older woman owner is always super friendly tho.

Yelp
I've been to ACA grill a few times in the past and it was pretty good. Today I ordered the #2 mix plate with Asado, Chorizo, and Pork Belly. I paid $24.08 after taxes which is pretty pricey. The portions seem like they were smaller from previous trips. Today in general the food was lacking a bit of flavor. The Asado was really tough. I always give my Jindo dog some meat from whatever I eat. I had a really hard time trying to tear the meat by hand so I held it so my dog could bite it off himself and he had trouble. It is obviously not prime but there was no sort of intramuscular fat flavor. The toughness and flavor makes me wonder if it was even of choice quality, maybe select for cost saving? Either way I think I will just stick to my Brazilian BBQ spot where I have a tone of choices between meat and sides and can control my meat and sides to my liking.

Yelp
This is it. The #2 comes with some extra meat. I like meat. So I always order the #2 or I just order the meat itself. The owners(?) are some of the nicest people around, hard working, and extremely direct. It's not the cheapest place around, but it is damn sure delicious. The cuts of meat are seared and seasoned perfectly. The sauce is amazing. I don't care much for the sides, but you know why I'm here. The meat. I'm salivating as I'm writing this. Please support this local shop during the pandemic. 4.5 stars. Minus half a star because it's actually quite pricey, but the taste is worth it. Hint? Buy the meat by the pound from them.

Yelp
TLDR; If you're in Ktown not craving Korean food, give this place a try. The plate and beef empanadas are a must! I love ACA grill & I recommend it to everyone. Heard about this place from my good friend! Located in 8th Street Plaza, ACA grill is a small mom and pop shop that specializes in Korean Argentinian food. I cannot think of any other place that offers this style of food. It's ran and operated by a Korean couple and sometimes their son helps out too. The place is small with not a lot of seats. More people do take out than dine in. Parking: There's free but limited spaces available in the lot. There's also metered parking nearby. The food: Everything on their menu looks so good but I always get the No. 1 Plate. The plate comes with various meats (asado, chorizo, & pork belly), a yellow colored rice, beans, corn, and lightly dressed salad. It's the perfect balance of savory and refreshing. You also get a free side of their house made chimichurri (not like normal chimichurri, has a korean twist to it). **I always get it with no beans, but that's a personal preference** My meal here is not complete without at least one empanada. They are baked fresh throughout the day & depending on your luck, they'll have the beef empanadas. It's a pocket of happiness that I find tastier than their spicy chicken or spinach ones. Don't forget to try the empanadas with ACA grill's red hot sauce. Not sure if this sauce is house made, but it's like tapatio's spicier cousin (not for hot sauce weaklings). Protip: If you're here with a friend, order the No. 2 Plate. It's a bigger portion (comes with more meat) and 2-4 empanadas. It's enough to overfeed 2 people. Other things to note: *Drips and swirls is in the same plaza, check them out if you want dessert after *No public restrooms, but the owner did let me use it once *They offer catering! *Water is self-serve, you seat yourself, get utensils, the lady will bring you your food *They have hot sauce and chimichurri for sale separately. There are different sizes varying 25c to $1

Yelp
Just did takeout from this place and would say it's very worth the price. Got Plate #1 and is more than enough for 2-3 meals (although it might not look like it). Sister ordered 6 cheese balls and she demolished 4 out of 6 of them in an instant! I would describe it as a more cheesy mochi texture and I am personally okay with it. Worth a try! Takeout was easy, pay when you get there. Overall, would def order from this place again.

Yelp
Our all time favorite place. The aca plate #2 is just enough to fill you up and leave a little bit extra left over for later (for me). Green sauce is bomb and red hot sauce has a good kick. Never can go wrong here :)

Yelp
At Aca Grill there is the special #1 and special #2. They are basically the same thing but special #2 just has more meat. They have rice beans, salad and meat. The meat is the obvious highlight of the show. You can choose any variety from Asado (steak), chorizo (sausage), or the pork belly. I tried all three an my recommendation would be to try all three if it's your first time. If it's not your first time, you know you need to basically get all Asado (extra $1 charge). While the chorizo and pork belly are both good in their own regards, they don't even compare to the Asado. The meat is so tender and when I was eating my meal, I was looking forward to each bite of the Asado. I would not be doing Aca Grill justice if I didn't mention the chimichurri. Just dump the sauce all over the meat and you should be good to go. Overall, I enjoyed everything I ate at Aca Grill and you can bet that I will be recommending this place to many of my friends that are in the area!

Yelp
I decided to come here because of the reviews and the food looked good. Tried the number one combo with the sampling of asado, pork belly and sausage. The plate comes with rice, black beans, and a salad with corn in a zesty dressing and a side of chimichurri sauce. It wasn't what I expected and perhaps my expectations were higher, but the meal was still edible. Also, tried the cheese balls, they were not my cup of tea, they were too chewy for my liking but it might have been because I took them home to eat. I would definitely come back and give it a go again, I would ask for no asado or beans on my next go round and an extra side or two of their delicious chimichurri sauce. Parking sucks here though.
