"On Friday the 27th, Ace Hotel is hosting a pop-up night market on their rooftop terrace. There will be a variety of vendors, where you can get food, and buy things like jewelry, clothes, and home goods from local shops. You can also play a round of Millennial Lotería, but you need to sign up in advance and purchase $15 tickets via Tock." - adrian kane

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We went with a large room and it was just that, super clean with a comfortable bed and similar aesthetic to other Ace hotels. I do wish there was coffee in the room, but happy to have the coffee shop downstairs. I found parking across the street in Google's garage using the Spot Hero app which was cheaper and potentially easier than using the hotel valet. The location is good, walking distance to a lot of things and we even walked the half hour downtown. Also convenient to the train - I ended up on the brown and pink line (the most convenient) and the blue line (about 10 minutes away). Overall, would recommend especially if you want to stay in this neighborhood.

Location of the hotel is pretty decent. The front desk was light hearted and friendly. The hotel lobby has a bit of a clubby vibe at night with the lighting and the music. Their were a number of loud guests going in and out of the hotel that weekend, though I didn't hear anything from my second floor room, thankfully. The rooms themselves are nice and clean but uniquely decorated and arranged. I personally did not care to have the sink outside of the bathroom, as it is a little hard to not disturb someone else that's sleeping when the sink is so close to the bed.

I really loved this hotel. The staff is the right mix of cool/casual and courteous. I felt well taken care of during my wedding weekend. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and well appointed. I ended up buying their bathrobes--the best I've had! Only one downfall was the noise. The train nearby, along with beeping from a parking garage gate. Ask for a room way from all that. We did have rowdy neighbors, too. But I called down and security came up immediately and shut it down. Would definitely stay here again.

Downstairs bar/restaurant is fine. Menu is a little weird, not many dishes for sharing over drinks. Upper level bar is pretty cool, was not too crowded on a Friday night surprisingly. Drink selection and service was fine, nothing special. Worth checking out when it is warm enough to go outside.

This us a beautiful and very contemporary hotel. The lobby bar is elegantly designed, with a number of small tables and a lovely bar. The bartender was helpful and charming, guiding my drink choice. We we're there fir an event, held in one of the first floor meeting spaces. The room itself was nicely set up, well-suited to the event. My favorite, though, were the restrooms. The stall doors were made of plywood, but covered in a clear epoxy, making them look really elegant. I'm delighted that The Ace is down the street from me. We will surely be back this summer to enjoy the rooftop bar.

The room was very unique and comfortable. It was nice and quiet on our floor; we never heard any guests. The rooftop bar was very nice and had an amazing view of the skyline. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would definitely stay again.

Two thumbs up!! Loved my stay here! Loved the art deco/reclaimed element theme. Loved the radio and turn table in the room. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly! Margarite was an angel, a definite asset to The Ace.....so helpful with my stay. Then there was the 2 bars you can enjoy there. Was able to enjoy the rooftop bar, as well as the one on the ground level. Would definitely return again!

Our experience was less than impressing. Staff were short mannered. Room was poor, the shower had terrible water pressure. Whoever decided to paint the room all blue and black made it feel like a prison. The fact that only 1 staff could drive a manual vehicle was kind blowing and we were told by one person that we could park it ourselves but when we got back to the hotel they told us that they had to "find a spot because they were at max capacity" but we've already paid in advance to have a spot. For an up and coming area, and the price we paid I expected better.
