Achara

Pretty good. Chicken skewers & seabass were both great. Prawns were alright. Cocktails were nice but probably not worth it. Rice and green beans were good "sides". Staff were sound. This restaurant seems to be busy most of the time so booking is recommended. Interior is well decorated. Tables are a bit close to each other so not a lot of privacy.

Had an absolutely delicious meal! So highly recommend the food. Loved everything we tried, in particular the chicken skewer and wagyu beef krapao. Tried another new Thai restaurant that opened recently in town and this is far better. There was just a few funny things with our bill. We were charged for tap water which had been brought to our table without asking, as usual. Also a side order of green beans we hadn't ordered came that we presumed came with a main but didn't. The green beans were delicious and we ate them all so when they were on the bill we didn't feel we should question. All in all a greet dinner

This place is incredible. If you like to try fusion Thai cuisine in Dublin, there is no better place than Achara. We had their chicken wings and prawns as the starters followed by Seabass and beef curry. Everything was super delicious, and theirs staff is great too. Highly recommend !!!!

Good portions sizes and tasty but missing some creativity. For example pad krapow just had a tonne of mince with an egg, they should have provided some lettuce cups and a separate sauce for example to lighten it. Short ribs were good, very tender, well marinated but after a while it gets tiring. Maybe a side of veg was missing. Interior design is on point. Service was slow. Always had to ask waiter to come over. After mains were taken no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or ask for a bill again had to ask to come over.

Had an stunning lunch in Achara. The food is incredibly fresh, lots of Thai basil. The wings with fish oil and chilli were delicious, I wasn't expecting that flavour combination to mix so well. The Khao Soi with grilled chicken was exceptional, one of my favourite Thai dishes and can be hard to find. The lunch menu is great value, I'm looking forward to trying the dinner menu. Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for good Thai food.

Firstly the food was amazing but we found the whole experience a little disappointing as we had high expectations based on the rave reviews floating around. Took an age to get the starter and probably an hour by the time the main came out but to be fair the staff are nice and were apologetic and offered us a free drink. But the restaurant is way too bright and devoid of atmosphere at the front windows. Think the back looked more atmospheric . Was also kinda cold temperature wise. 3 stars seems a bit harsh but it’s not cheap so justified IMO

A surprisingly hit-and-miss experience for such a highly regarded restaurant. The fish and veg options were much better than the meat. The team here is just brilliant. They manage to create a welcoming and easygoing atmosphere in a very loud, densely packed restaurant. This is a difficult restaurant to have a chat in due to the volume. Foodwise, it's such a mixed bag. The chicken skewers were charred on the outside but still raw on the inside and just tasted of salt. The wagyu short ribs were bone dry. So two cases of good meat ruined by poor handling. On the other hand, the satay prawns, Killary mussel skewers and xo mushrooms were spectacular - loads of flavour and masterfully prepared to bring out the best of the ingredients. The house cocktails went down a treat too. No restaurant can live up to the hype that Achara is enjoying at the moment, but they should still be above basic failings like this.

Achara absolutely blew my mind! Definitely the most delicious Thai food I’ve ever had in my life!! Went there for dinner - the ingredients were fresh, the food was cooked extremely well and the margaritas were off the charts! I ended up having 3 with dinner because they complimented the food so well - for the record, they have 2 types of margaritas - a regular one, and the one I’m talking about which has lime juice I believe! 🍋‍🟩 Dessert I could have skipped if I’m being honest, but the rest of the food was so good, it deserves the 5 stars! Also very reasonably priced for the quality you get! Can’t wait to go back.
