I cannot say enough good about Acre after a 3 day stay in Jan 2026. I went for a vacation with my husband and we stayed in the treehouses. Starting even at check-in our process went smoothly. EVERYONE at Acre was across the board professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, customer-service oriented and fun to interact with.
The treehouse room was so cool- luxury bed/bedding with a bathroom, outdoor shower, and heated bed when chilly at night and even AC when it was hot. All while feeling like you are in a jungle escape.
I spent each day with the rescue pups, and loved it!! It was so special to be able to take the dogs for a walk and play with them. You can tell the staff does a great job given what the pups have gone through before their rescue. We even saw a couple go to their forever families during our stay. The mission is great- caring for dogs who would otherwise be on the street without a safe and secure place to recuperate and grow while waiting to be adopted.
I dined twice at the main restaurant. Our servers Karla and Natalia were fantastic: they knew the menu well and were both very efficient but never came off as rushed. They were very friendly and always had time for us, including my husband's chismes de papa 😆
The food: WOW. I'm still dreaming about it a month later. Bright, flavorful, fresh, and innovative while still being delicious and filling. Their Michelin start is well earned. Kudos to the entire team making the restaurant as good as it is: your hard work, dedication and talent show.
The coffee shop was delightful for breakfast, lunch, and small snacks. Carmen made sure we were well cared for each morning. Thank you! The pastries were always fresh and delicious.
They've got a huge team working together to make the resort run well, and I want to extend my gratitude to all for such a special trip. We will absolutely be back for another visit!
