Such a cute little wine shop! It’s small and quaint, but absolutely worth checking out. I loved the variety of wine options—they had something for every taste, and it was fun exploring their unique selection. The vibe was cozy and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The guy working there was super friendly and cool, and really made us feel comfortable while offering great recommendations. We found street parking nearby, which wasn’t too bad at all. I’ll definitely be back again—this place is a hidden gem!

You KNOW the wine is good when you forget to take a photo! Came here with my husband and we got a flight to try wine from Lebanon, something we'd never had before. We even got wine and cocktails to go! The staff here was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had about which wine would match our palette. Can't wait to come back on our next visit to LA.

Great little spot to grab a quick coffee or bottle of wine for an event. They have many wines I can't find anywhere else.

Great place to broker deals. Million Dollar Deals over lattes & laughs. Great addition to the neighborhood.

I have been living in this area since I was 12, I'm 29 now, this is a welcome coffee shop to the neighborhood...kinda. Speaking personally as someone who can afford to spend a little more on coffee, the pricing is a bit higher than comparable shops. My usual order of a latte and a croissant runs me about $9-$10 with tip, at a comparable shop it usually runs me 7-8. Just saying this place is definitely geared more towards the new wave of residents. The coffee is good, great even. The selection of items on the menu are small but definitely well thought out. The staff is friendly and quick, (minus the one day where there was one person who seemed bored out to their minds, but I won't hold that against them since we all are entitled to off days.) The one area where I rly had to knock a star off was the pastries. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they are a bit dry, and that I can't forgive. I will continue to visit this place, and update this post if needed.

The store charges 400% of the open market cost of their wine. It was a nice day out and they have patio tables outside (all empty). We asked to drink their overpriced wine on their wine store patio and they wanted to charge us an additional $25 corkage fee to drink their wine on their wine store patio. Even for LA, this is the worst price gauging I've ever seen.

Excellent coffee, the barista was obviously experienced- she didn’t even blink at a quad shot request and the latte still came out smooth and flavorful! The breakfast options also looked amazing but I didn’t have time to try. The atmosphere is comfortable to work in and seems to show strong support for local arts. Definitely a new favorite stop for me!

Had a great experience meeting a friend for wine and small bites. I arrived as the kitchen was closely at Alta and the staff in the wine shop was able to grab some small appetizers for us before break for dinner. I had brought my dog and we sat outside and I think we met everyone in the neighborhood bc everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend the wine shop and will be back to have a proper dinner at Alta.

Yelp
My friends and I happened by the Adams Wine Shop about 15 minutes after they had closed. They were busy clearing the tables from the front of the establishment and getting ready to shut everything down. However, when they heard that we needed a place to wait until our reservation at the restaurant next-door became available they immediately invited us in. We sat at the center table and purchased a fabulous bottle of wine. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful. But that's not all! The dinner that we attended at the restaurant next-door, Alta, came with a wine pairing. The wines were so special that I photographed them only to learn that they were all from the Adam's wine shop. Thank you to Adam's Wine Shop for a delightful stopover prior to our dinner. We'll be back!

Yelp
Amazing wine and amazing people pouring it. A true treasure in West Adams. Grab a glass and get dinner at Alta afterwards!

Yelp
I'm part of the wine club here so I visit quarterly to pick up my wine shipments. I love this little wine bar because they focus on smaller production vineyards and places that are owned by Black and Brown people and women. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful. If you tell them what you're looking for and the price point they can likely find something for you that's unique and will be a hit. They also have Black owned spirits and some other mezcals. Their selection isn't big, but it's curated in a way that is focused on specialty brands and not the normal big name spirits brands. I love it here!

Yelp
Great little neighborhood wine shop! Will be making a stop again when I'm in the area. Service was great. The gentleman was kind and really showed he cared about our experience!

Yelp
I had a date with one of my regular "physical activity" partners (*eyebrows, eyebrows*) and he's a Grape Street Watts Crip affiliate named Keidron. I tried to take him to wine bars before to broaden his horizons but he always gets uncomfortable and starts asking for wines that taste like grape strawberry lemonade. I heard this was Afro American owned and thought he might be less skittish. We were greeted by a very upbeat sassy employee. He made it clear his mission was to find something me and my Grape Street Warrior would enjoy. I saw some wines I've bought at other establishments and it's airport markup prices. Brown Estate Zin is normally $40. At Adams Wine Shop & Bar it's $70. I'm not exactly sure what the extra $30 markup is for. I'm not ordering in the restaurant or at a resort hotel. What is the 57% markup I'm paying for? That really left a bad taste in my mouth. The wines we did try were nice. Everything was more on the hipster natural wine, earthy side for my taste but it got the job done. The service was very friendly. I like how musical the wine steward was. Any song could be playing from the speaker and he'd start humming, channeling his ancestors by adding a nice churchy touch. It reminded me of being with my nanny in the Hamptons growing up, Miss Patti. She'd put her hands on those robust hips and sashay with that broom she loved so much. Anyways back to the wine shop. The place is clean. The volume of the music was just right so I could hear Keirdon tell me about how he "tryin work on music and leave the streets alone." Wine and false hope from a hard hitta are how I like to spend my day off from the real adult world. I doubt I'll ever come back due to the bottle markups, the fact the selections are more on the earthy hipster side and the by the glass price was what you'd pay for a drink at Coachella or a Las Vegas pool cabana. I left a 20% cash tip for our wine steward and he seemed very pleasantly surprised. Maybe West Adams should consider bringing the prices down so people will tip more. Or keep charging extra for Pet Nat's and leave good service under appreciated. I got me a good big hung on the way out. Everybody wants to hug me. Few go for it. Loved it.
