Adana Restaurant & Lounge - Review - Marietta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Adana is a Mediterranean restaurant and hookah lounge in Marietta that has a very random Lego theme. We still have a lot of questions. But trademarking isn’t our concern, the dining experience is. And the food leaves a lot to be desired, but if you want a vibey hookah spot with kebabs as the sideshow, then we'd say Adana will come through. Part of eating here involves being surrounded by a haze of hookah smoke at all times and having 21 Savage and “Hot In Herre” blasting at unsafe decibel levels through the loungey dining room. Bites of just-OK lamb chops, skippable watery pasta, and respectably good buttery shrimp get interrupted by parades of sparklers celebrating birthdays (we’ve counted three) and a totally unnecessary hibachi-like hookah fire show (for $35). @infatuation_atl So we went to that Lego-themed hookah restaurant in Marietta and we have thoughts. #infatuationatl #atlantarestaurants #marietta #EEEEEATS ♬ original sound - Infatuation Atlanta Keep scrolling for the food rundown The drinks are also part of the schtick, like the Lego, which is just a standard whiskey sour that comes with a brick gummy and a few figurines (sadly none of them have a mini pipe, which feels like a missed opportunity). The tequila-heavy Phoenix is sweet and peachy, and the base gets lit on fire. But don’t be fooled by the toys and pyrotechnics, these drinks aren’t child’s play. One too many, and you’ll be calling someone for a ride home. And that's a big reason why you're here: for the strong cocktails, along with bumping music and ridiculous Lego-bricked hookah pipes. And that’s not a bad move when your Wednesday demands Friday night lights energy. Food Rundown Grilled Shrimp This is a straight-forward dish and also one of the better mains. You get double digit small shrimp doused in a garlicky butter sauce with a dash of saffron. The side of rice is exactly what you’d expect—soft and buttery. photo credit: Juli Horsford Spicy Feta This appetizer is our favorite thing on the menu. It’s a little fiery, a little smoky, and goes well with most of the menu. So save some for your entrees, and put on chicken or steak kebabs for a pop of cheesy flavor. Chicken Wings Skip these. They have nice grill marks but pretty forgettable beyond looks. Seafood Linguine Despite the big portion, this one still disappoints. The mussels and clams taste a little too fishy. And it allegedly has alfredo sauce somewhere, but it’s busy cosplaying as butter water. Mixed Grill Platter To appease a big group, this $65 platter makes sense. You get to try a little bit of everything: lamb chops, lamb kebabs, chicken, rice, and a side salad. All the proteins are just a different chargrilled shade of OK, so don’t plan on wow-ing your friends with this order (unless you keep some spicy feta and bread around to make your own sandwiches). photo credit: Juli Horsford Cocktails Part of the draw of coming here is ordering a drink that tastes like the bartenders snuck an extra shot of liquor in it. Plus, a few have fun extras like Lego people, Lego gummies, or a fire show that ups the ante a bit. photo credit: Juli Horsford" - Juli Horsford

Best Halal Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Marietta’s Turkish and Greek spot, Adana, has an entirely halal menu. Choose from a selection of mezze, grilled meats, and baked foods, and don’t forget the lavash. The adana kebap, which is made with ground beef and lamb, is among the best around." - Eater Staff

From the moment we walked into this Mediterranean and grill gem, we were warmly welcomed and instantly impressed. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, with aromatic spices in the air and a beautifully designed interior that perfectly balanced tradition with modern touches. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. What truly made our experience memorable, though, was the incredible service. Manager Zara was attentive, professional, and incredibly welcoming. She took the time to check in with each table, offering genuine hospitality and ensuring everyone felt cared for.

4 stars because the waiter acted like he didn’t want to be there . The food was excellent with a generous portion size. I tried the chicken pesto, and my partner had the lamb chops, both of which I highly recommend . We chose these dishes based on TikTok recommendations, and they did not disappoint. The female servers were attentive and checked on us multiple times, ensuring we had everything we needed. However, our waiter seemed disengaged and didn't check in on us, which was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the DJ created a great atmosphere with fantastic music. Overall, a solid 4-star experience with room for improvement in service.

The vibes at Adana were absolutely amazing! My friend and I stopped by around 5pm on a Saturday, and it was such a good time. We didn’t have to pay for parking at that hour, but the valet did mention that self-parking is $5 and valet starts at $20 at or around 7pm—good to know for next time. Service was on point—quick, friendly, and our food came out hot and ready. The atmosphere is super chill with an enclosed patio and indoor seating options, so you can choose your vibe. It's also conveniently located right next to Tiger nightclub if you’re looking to keep the night going. We ordered hookah and it was great, smooth and flavorful. Plus, the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality and experience. I’m definitely coming back! Perfect spot for a date night, catching up with the girls, or any kind of celebration. Be safe and enjoy!

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Adana ATL. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that set the stage for an exceptional evening. The Trio Cold Mezzo was a delightful start – each bite more flavorful than the last, with a perfect balance of textures and tastes that truly made each component shine. The Seafood Pasta was equally impressive, with a delicate balance of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood and rich, savory sauce. And the Chicken Parmesan – simply outstanding! Tender, crispy, and cooked to perfection, it’s a must-try for any real foodie. The experience didn’t end with the food. The custom hookah flavors were out of this world – some of the best, most expertly melded flavors I’ve had the pleasure of smoking. It truly elevated the entire atmosphere. A huge thank you to Mila, our server, who made the experience even more enjoyable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, prompt, and sweet – she made sure we had everything we needed while offering recommendations that were spot on. Adana ATL is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return. Every detail, from the food to the service to the ambiance, was perfect. Highly recommend!

This was my fourth time dining at Adana ATL, and somehow, it just keeps getting better—thanks in large part to Izgen, the incredibly talented and knowledgeable mixologist. Izgen doesn’t just pour drinks—she curates experiences. Her deep understanding of spirits and her passion for mixology shine through in every recommendation. She took the time to ask about my meal selection and crafted a drink that not only complemented but elevated the flavors on my plate. Her enthusiasm for the craft is contagious, and you can tell she’s constantly learning and refining her skills. She’s a true gem behind the bar. Now, let’s talk about the food. The hummus, served with house-made sesame bread, was a standout—warm, soft, and perfectly toasted. That bread was the kind of thing you keep reaching for long after the hummus is gone. I could honestly come here just for that combo and leave happy. But this time, I tried something new: the fava dill rice. Wow. I don’t say this lightly—it’s the best rice I’ve had in any Mediterranean restaurant. The texture was almost buttery, soft yet rich, with the fragrant dill and the delicate fava beans coming together in perfect harmony. And of course, the Adana mixed grill—divine deliciousness. The beef and chicken were both unbelievably tender, each bite packed with flavor that could only come from expert seasoning and masterful grilling. Adana ATL is a place I always recommend to friends, but this visit with Izgen guiding my drink choices made it a next-level experience. I already can’t wait to come back.

Priya was one of the best waitress me and my friend ever had! She was very attentive and customer service driven. The food was great, the drinks were also great and the vibes were amazing!! EVERYTHING is reasonable priced with nice sized portions. We tried something in every category! They also had a live DJ! Overall it was a great experience! They have definitely earned a returning customer!

Google
This place was vibe. The food was great no complaints! Love the specialized hookah set up. The Dj was great as well not to loud so you can hear the person talking at your table would definitely be back.

Google
$35 Fire Show? More like $35 for confusion and a lighter trick. We came expecting a Turkish vibe—traditional ambiance, maybe cultural music and decor. Instead, it was all Western music, really loud, and a completely different atmosphere than we thought. Still fun, but definitely not what we expected. Food was decent. Service was slow but I really liked my server. She was so sweet! We saw “Adana Shisha Fire Show – $35” on the menu and assumed it was a full hookah experience with a show. Nowhere does it say it’s an add-on. Every other hookah is clearly priced as a full base—so why wouldn’t this one be? We talked to the manager and she looked at us like we were the confused ones for not knowing it was extra. Girl, your menu doesn’t say that anywhere. If you're going to charge $35 on top of a hookah for a 10-second flame trick, maybe… say that? This wasn’t a “fire show.” It was a $35 magic lighter moment. What a joke—and what a waste.

Yelp
I took my aunt for her birthday lunch. We happened to be near while antiquing. We had my new all time favorite roasted eggplant and humus. They make their own pita which is soft, crispy and a little chewy--perfect. I had the falafel and fattoush salad. Every bite was just right. Plus our server was wonderful--personable, attentive, relaxed. I can't wait to take my husband.

Yelp
We were going to be in downtown Maraietta early on a Sunday and were looking for somewhere different to eat en route. My wife noted this place and it was not out of our way, so we gave it a try. It is located in a plaza near I-75 and Hwy 120. Our nav app routed us to a baseball field nearby so there may be multiple similar 'Franklin Gateway' addresses. We arrived a bit after noon and were seated promptly. The place has nice decor and a large bar. There were only a few tables occupied when we were there, though they also seemed to have a steady stream of take-out orders. We had the choice of either the brunch or the lunch menus. We went with lunch, which also seemed to have the benefit of being a bit cheaper. I ended up getting a mostly-beef kabob (like a kubideh) and my wife got a wrap. The food was pretty good. Prices were about $16 for each dish. Service was relaxed. We are not in this area that often, so I'm not sure if we'll go back. If we lived in the area, I'd consider returning.

Yelp
Adana was an incredible find! I love all Mediterranean food, but Lebanese and Turkish are my favs. Unfortunately both are difficult to find in the A. We had a really delicious and incredibly fresh meal.

Yelp
What a delightful experience! Food, service, and ambience all add to a "must return" destination. We will be sharing with our friends. This is a restaurant that Marietta needs to embrace and support.

Yelp
Really delicious authentic Turkish food! I am from Adana, Turkey and when I saw the name I decided to try this place. Really loved their style of beyti, the eggplant bottom was delicious. My two coworkers loved the chicken and adana kebab as well. Definitely recommend, the staff very friendly and food is fresh and very filling The ambience is very cool, great for casual dining or date night!
google avatar

Karri S.

Yelp
Our new favorite spot! We heard about their "Turkish Breakfast" and beelined our way there. While it wasn't on the menu we trusted it would be good and we weren't disappointed. A huge spread of wonderfully prepared dishes, condiments, and Turkish tea. We were delighted to see what all came out. We can't wait to go back for another breakfast and try dinner! The staff was very friendly and explained dishes to us. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
This place is top tier. The service was great, the place looks really nice, and the food was amazing. We got the Meze trio with the spicy feta, babagannuş, and Olive salad, or came with a huge piece of delicious bread with sesame seeds. Two of us got the pide, which is like a flatbread pizza and so tasty, much larger than expected as well. My wife and I ordered the Adana Kebap, which may likely have been the most delicious Kebap I've ever had. We're really looking forward to returning and trying more, but it'll be difficult not to order what we already know is delicious. We also got each dessert, but I forgot to take pictures. The kunefe is a MUST order.

Yelp
Lahmacun and beyti were great. Lahmacun comes with onion salad is very good with it. Lahmacun çok iyi. Atlanta daki en iyi lahmacun diyebilirim.

Yelp
Lamb chops and kabobs are excellent. We also had the grape leaves, Turkish pizza, and roasted eggplant. We have been back three times.

Yelp
First time a new Mediterranean spot in Marietta. Unbelievably great food, totally unexpected! If you're craving good Mediterranean food get over here now! Service is great, family owned spot!

Yelp
We stopped on our way out of Atlanta for a late lunch. Very attractive and very clean. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was DELICIOUS! Only wish we lived closer so we could come back soon!

Yelp
Everything was excellent!! The octopus was perfect with green olives and cherry tomatoes. I loved the spicy feta dip and the babaganoush. The "balloon bread"was delicious. We shared the Adana Tablaci which was a generous amount of all the protein grills (lamb/beef Adana, chicken, steak, kofte kabobs, and liver cubes) served with rice and perfect chopped salad. We also had the kunefe for dessert!! To die for! Needless to say we have another meal from the leftovers. We had a great server, Yusuf, and the decor was wonderful! There is no question that we will be back and recommend to others!

Umair K.

Yelp
Will not be back. Ordered the humus and meat hot dish. It was cold and not enough meat. The humus was watery and this small container cost $16.96 after tax. Not worth the price or quality. The dish was pretty much slapped together last minute it seems with no thought into presentation or food/taste quality. Not worth it!

Yelp
Fresh new full of flavor simply amazing. That's how I would definitely describe this restaurant being a new metro Atlanta resident there's plenty of restaurants everywhere that you look, but this one was A pleasant surprise! The wings were simply simply amazing some of the best grilled wings that I have had outside of one other restaurant here in the Atlanta area that I won't mention on this post I had the kebab and it was absolutely delicious. I met what I believe to be maybe one of the owners and she mentioned that they had not been open very long, but the service was absolutely phenomenal. I've heard that this particular space used to might've been an Asian restaurant, but they have done some wonderful upgrades inside and it just transform it surroundings, definitely back to this place again most likely sooner than later

Yelp
I had the pleasure to reunite with an out of state friend & decided to celebrate the occasion at Adana Mediterranean Grill. It was a PERFECT choice! The atmosphere, service AND food were superb! We were promptly welcomed & seated by "T", who was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive in any way. We opted to share a few appetizers. All were delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the octopus. My sole regret is that I don't live closer! Adana will be a destination ANY time that I'm in the area! GREAT job, Q!
google avatar

Marat S.

Yelp
Great people and service. The food is exceptional along with a great ambiance. Will be regulars here.

Christopher N.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! We got the Adana kebab and fatoush salad. Oh and the grilled wings! Go here asap!

Abdul A.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant - very juicy kababs. Been here twice this month - highly recommend. Reminds me of the times I was in Istanbul. Will be back for brunch
google avatar

Whitney B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink after work and it's delicious! I got the La Boom (made with 1800, jalapeños, strawberries and lime juice). Quite refreshing! Can't really provide a full review, but the drink is very good!
google avatar

Onur O.

Yelp
Ambiance, Food and Service are all flawless, Beyti Kebab is the best you can get in US. Sunday Fasil Live Music are much appreciated in Atlanta among the Turkish community

Daniel B.

Yelp
Ordered takeout and was impressed. Every dish was very fresh and delicious flavors. Truly an exceptional Mediterranean restaurant delivering exceptional quality food in a beautiful new space. Very friendly service. Looking forward to returning here to eat in - this place has a bright future and will be our go-to. Would suggest they adjust the takeout containers to something a little stronger as the tomato sauce has caused the corner of both dishes to dissolve and would have made a mess if my ride was any longer. Needs to be a little more robust if they plan to do takeout or delivery services. I have no doubt this minor tweak will be made. Google maps is also putting it in the wrong side, it is located in the space previously inhabited by Tasty China.
google avatar

Candin J.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the owner and the personnel very nice. A must go restaurant if you want to try some genuine Turkish and Mediterranean food.

Richard C.

Yelp
We went here for dinner after our granddaughter's dance recital. We just happened to see it while passing by and decided to stop in; and we're glad we did. Everything about the place was fantastic. There were six of us and we all had something different, and we all enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and patient with us (we had a lot of questions), and the food was outstanding. It is a bit pricey, so it's not somewhere we would go on a regular basis, but two or three times a year would work out well.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Can't wait to come back! They just opened and we visited for the first time. The ambiance is beautiful and the service and food is also top notch! We tried several different dishes and all were amazing. The best thing is how well the meats and breads were cooked. Absolutely perfection. Our server even showed us how the Pide is traditionally eaten in Turkey. My pictures truly don't do the food justice.
google avatar

Tonya W.

Yelp
Inaugural visit to Adana but won't be my last! My husband and I frequent the Halal meat market 2 doors down and decided to give this new restaurant a try. I'm so glad we did! We ordered the salmon and grilled wings. Both flavorful dishes were accompanied by aromatic rice along with a cucumber/tomato/onion salad served family style. And can't forget to mention --- the warm, pillowy bread and herbed butter is divine.

Parham R.

Yelp
Excellent service. Food tastes great and very authentic in comparison to other Turkish restaurants. We haven't had real Turkish food like this in the area before

Yelp
Adana Mediterranean Grill Marietta Weekend brunch (Turkish breakfast) Newly opened, well appointed , elegant aesthetic and welcoming ambience, complete with Turkish lantern chandeliers. They have a wood fire grill so their breads and pies come out slightly charred with an audible crunch. Super light and fluffy bread. We ordered the Turkish breakfast(have to ask for it) plus an order of Lachmajun(meat pies)and tea. Breakfast was an assortment of hot and cold small plates . Sour cherries Honey with butter Silky eggs omelet Cheese pie with sausage Olives , cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes Fresh bread It was enough for 4 (we were 2!) All was freshly made and fragrant Lachmajun was fresh and crispy served with onions and sumac the best! Come hungry, and with time. Sit back and relax, sip your tea, scoop up plates of delicious favorites and sweets. All complimentary to each other. Service was pleasant attentive and fast. This meal is made for good friends and good conversation. Will be back! 48.00 total (without tip)

Yelp
It is too bad there are only 5 stars available here on yelp because I have discovered a treasure that cannot- CANNOT be beat when it comes to magnificent food. As many of you know, I am a foodie from the get-go. I have consumed food all over the world and I'm always looking for something great. This place qualifies as one of the very very best. My lunch partner and I had to share everything starting with the hummus and the esme. These were found under the "cold messe" - think appetizer. These were served with the Turkish pita bread which is more similar to focaccia than the pita we buy in the store. Everything here is made from scratch. The humus is as smooth as it gets and has tones of garlic, tahini and chickpeas. The esme is a really unusual dip made of eggplant, peppers, garlic and secret ingredients. You wouldn't know it's eggplant unless you read the menu as it is so finely diced it disappears into the other ingredients. The flavor hints at red peppers but is it's own masterpiece. Augmenting these dishes were beautifully crisp, uniquely flavored falafel; truly the best falafel that either one of us had ever tasted. There is an ingredient in these that makes them so good and yet we could not find out what it was. There is a tahini sauce that comes with the falafel which is tasty but quite unnecessary. Usually falafel are very chickpeaish but these were something else! And, if this wasn't enough we also had an order of lahmacon- a kind of really flat flatbread with a schmear of beef/onion spice mix. To finish the lahmacon there is a salad of pickled onions with sumac, tomatoes and lemon wedges. For those of you unfamiliar with this dish, you tear off a large wedge of the lahmacon, put a nice serving of salad in it and roll it up. Done right it resembles a delicious wrap. AND NOW FOR DESSERT! There's nothing like it this side of heaven. Kunefe. To say it's a noodle dish is an insult even though really really thin noodles are involved. This is a traditional Turkish dessert made with a thin layer of noodles, a layer of cheese and another thin layer of noodles - this is pan fried in butter until toasty golden brown. Then a honey syrup is poured over in the same manner as a baklava and the dish it topped with chopped pistachios. Heavenly is the only way to describe it. To finish this wonderful meal we had Turkish coffee which was rich and flavorful and served In beautiful little cups. Overall, there was enough food for four people so we each took a doggy bag home Service was excellent. Rahjat treated us like his own family - warmly and delightful. Ambiance is modern with genuine Turkish chandeliers and mosaic hangings on the wall. The space also has a very modern bar for those who choose to imbibe. Prices are fair for the amount and quality of food.

Yelp
This place just opened up and we're glad that it did. The food was delicious and the service from Kristen was great! We had the chicken and steak kebabs and both were cooked to perfection. Cannot wait to come back and try everything else!

Anthony S.

Yelp
The dining room is amazing, the service is great but the food is amazing! Im from out of town, but the next time I'm anywhere near this restaurant I will return! This is a definite must try!!!

Mariam Q.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience is perfect. This is the best Turkish food I have had yet. So glad to have a good Turkish restaurant now. The food was fresh, flavourful and delicious.

C M.

Yelp
We found this place while traveling home from South Carolina. My wife and I had lived formerly in a city that had a large selection of Mediterranean restaurants, so we pretty much have had our share of great Mediterranean places. We stopped here and I had the Istanbul plate which was beef kebab and chicken kebab with rice. My wife had the chicken kebab and rice. We also had a an order of Humus and the house bread. I'll sum it up: the food is truly outstanding, extremely flavorful, the service was excellent! If we lived here, we would make this one of our weekly go to restaurants, it is literally that good. We both highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
For sure the best lahmacun I had outside of Turkey. The food was great. Service was great. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
This is my inaugural visit to this establishment. I must express my profound admiration for the splendid ambiance provided. Without a shadow of a doubt, every culinary creation, from the delectable assortment of appetizers to the exquisite entrees and the heavenly dessert, was simply divine. The level of customer service extended to us was truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment and can unequivocally state that we shall most definitely return. Furthermore, I would like to make special mention of the owner, Kubra, who exhibited extraordinary kindness and provided invaluable assistance.

Yelp
Wow! I was craving an Adana kebob and randomly found this place on Uber eats. This food was amazing! The food tasted so fresh and the Adana Kevin was juicy and flavorful. Especially loved the lavash bread and omg they gave you sooo much of it. Seriously, I couldn't stop eating. I will definitely be trying this place again and hope to visit in person soon!

Katharine J.

Yelp
Blown away by the incredible authentic flavors at this new spot! Staff is very hospitable & helpful. The decor & whole inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Everything we had was outstanding! We will be back!

Vanya P.

Yelp
The best Turkish restaurant in Georgia! We drove up from Atlanta and will happily do it again and again for the quality of food here. Our table shared everything from starters like lahmacun and spicy feta to mains like branzino and kebabs to dessert like kunefe. It was ALL impeccably seasoned and cooked. Everyone at the table said it was the best lahmacun they had outside of Turkey - that says a lot. Definitely get the kunefe desert - it's very well made. Service was also kind, attentive, and classy. The restaurant itself is cozy and well designed. We are excited to come back to try breakfast and will definitely be back for dinner again! Highly recommended.

Carey S.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant!!! The food is delicious and I loved that it all felt so light l, I didn't leave feeling overly full. The staff is incredibly friendly. The vibes were immaculate. Great date night spot but I just went with my friend and we had a nice dinner with drinks and enjoyed our evening- definitely one of my new favorite spots!

Steven K.

Yelp
Went here for lunch. Food is amazing. The service from the staff , even the kitchen staff was beyond great. I hope it stays that way. The inside was brand new. I remember what used to be there before. And was surprised they were able to clean it up.

Eladia S.

Yelp
So Saturday me and my lady friends had a event to go to see a friend preform and we was all excited about the night and when we got to the location it was closed very unprofessional we was all excited it was a Latin night and so highly upset when we got there and it was closed without cancellation notice at all

Marc H.

Yelp
Ordered takeout and was super impressed. Welcoming staff, quick service, and a fantastic meal. Our only regret was not getting 5 more orders of smoked eggplant to have for later. Just go.

Yusuf Y.

Yelp
When we got there we were welcomed very nicely, the location is accessible, the service was good, the food was delicious :)

Really authentic Turkish restaurant. Everything was so well seasoned and delicious! Look forward to trying even more of their kebabs in the future. Service was very attentive and kind and the ambiance is comfortable but classy. We will definitely be back!
