We decided to try the famous bitoque here and it did not disappoint! Firstly, we ordered croquetes which were delicious! Then the bitoque came. We ordered bitoque do lombo, which means the steak was very tender! The sauce was amazing, very Portuguese, exactly what I was craving for! The French fries were homemade, so excellent. The only thing that was not up to the rest was the rice, which was pretty average, thus 4 stars and not 5. Still, I definitely recommend this restaurant for an amazing bitoque and Portuguese vibes! The service was also great!

We found this restaurant by chance and we couldn’t believe how delicious all the food we ordered and sort of starters they brought themselves without us having ordered was. The beef with fried egg, grilled octopus with olive oil sauce ( we requested additional lemon) were all tasty. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I observed that Adega Solar Minhoto is quite a popular restaurant among the local community.. The ambiance is casual, providing a comfortable setting for a meal. The server was very helpful, guiding me through the menu and explaining the items, especially since it was in Portuguese. I ordered their lamb chops and octopus, which were both outstanding, and I genuinely enjoyed my meal. The food was impressive and well-prepared, making it a solid choice for anyone interested in traditional Portuguese cuisine. I’m definitely going back.

Amazing place! The steak tasted incredible and was cooked to perfection. Very different to the touristy restaurants however: they don't take card, you don't get to choose starters - they come wrapped in clingfilm, full of local people (very grateful for the waiter speaking English!). That said it all adds to the charm. Some of the nicest and best value food (35 Euros for 2 courses, steak and wine!)

This is the most delicious restaurant in Lisbon. Beef and pork is amazing. Salmon wasn't very good. But they are using Iberian pork and it's one of the most delicious foods I've ever eaten. Waiters doesn't speak English so prepare to use google translate. But i assure you it's worth it. I'm really grateful to my friend who introduced me to this restaurant. I've tried 3 different dishes and pork was best. The name of it was similar to 'secrets of pork" it's amazing.

My Portuguese friend recommended this place when I looked for a local and less touristic restaurant. I came there alone and the waiter didn’t really speak English but tried to communicate with me. I had grilled seabass which was so filling and savory, although it was a bit too much salt to my taste. I also ordered their traditional sardines for takeout, they were great. The service was quick and efficient too. Overall it was a great deal: yummy Portuguese traditional foods with affordable price!

Back to my childhood neighbourhood after living abroad for quite a few years now This is one of the best places to have authentic Portuguese dishes. Staff is professional and considerate. Food is just outstanding, cooked to perfection. We had the secretos, plumas and oh my god! it's not a trendy posh restaurant, but one tou know you get your money's worth 100%. Could not recommend enough.
