Adelaide - Review - West Quarter - Salt Lake City - The Infatuation

"Located on the first floor of Le Meridien hotel in Salt Lake’s West Quarter, Adelaide turns up the swanky energy with velvet banquettes and a stylish oyster bar. There’s some French and New Orleans influence on the menu, like jambalaya fettuccine and shrimp and cheddar grits, along with standouts like the praline-crusted white fish and the shellfish-filled seafood platter. The dessert options make this a top pick for celebrating a birthday, specifically if you’re eating the chocolate cake paired with salted caramel gelato. After dinner, head to the rooftop Van Ryder bar for fire pits, city views, and a blackberry Old Fashioned." - Jenny Willden

Delicious French cuisine is offered here. We had breakfast and was treated with a great staff and atmosphere. Was able to get right in on a Saturday morning around 945am. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Definitely try the honey pistachio latte, was so delicious! The eggs Benedict were good, but eggs a little over cooked, but the hollandaise was amazing. And the Loraine omelette was rich and flavorful. Overall great spot!

Review by Les Roka at The Utah Review The warm colors, drapes and the banquettes at Adelaide Urban Brasseries at Le Méridien accent a soothing, welcoming holiday dining vibe away from home. The Thanksgiving offering made a worthy star out of turkey in its attractive presentation featuring a salt-cured, herb-roasted turkey breast with mashed potatoes and an excellent gravy with notes of cranberry, mostarda and hard cider. The meat was fork tender and seasoned thoroughly. Likewise, the short ribs with a burgundy sauce were just as tender. There were playful tweaks on other items: the sweet potato poppers with gruyère featured a gastrique with jalapeño-infused honey, the broccoli cauliflower gratin with cream cheese, the beef carpaccio was light, bright and had crispy bits of texture. As for desserts, the dark chocolate cake with hazelnut croquant was moist and uplifting (decadence does not need to be heavy); the hot toddy apple pie stood out once the honeycomb gelato melted on its surface. Small details like these are intriguing. Service was graceful and in the spirit of the holiday. Nate’s old-fashioned cocktail interpretation is also a star from the bar.

We recently dined in Adelaide and had an exceptional experience. The salmon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding and attentive throughout the evening. Compliments to the chef, especially for the appetizer; the crab cake croquettes were excellent. A truly wonderful dining experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful New Year’s Eve experience with the prix-fixe menu. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented, making the evening feel truly special. The Manhattan-style NY steak was the highlight of the night perfectly cooked, incredibly tender complemented wonderfully by the green peppercorn demi and sides. What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service. Our server Andrea explained each course which made the menu easy to understand and even more enjoyable. Her knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. It was a delicious, memorable way to ring in the New Year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience

The halibut was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, delicate, and flavorful. The ricotta gnocchi were soft and delicious. The service made the evening even more special. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care made us feel relaxed and well attended. It was a memorable and elegant way to celebrate the New Year.

Wow! Absolutely worth stopping by, and a new favorite for sure! We had breakfast on the patio. It was a delightful experience start to finish with attentive, friendly staff and beyond amazing food. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious, with all the flavors working so well together. My husband had the Lorraine omelette and that was also done so well. There’s a very talented chef in the kitchen! 100% we will be back and recommending to everyone! They were very accommodating with our infant as well.
