"Aeronaut (which merged with Dorchester Brewing Company back in 2023) is a warehouse-like brewery that has long picnic tables, board games and arcade games, and Venezuelan food like arepas from Carolicious. It’s also home to fan-favorite popup turned brick-and-mortar Mimi’s Chūka Diner, where you can savor noodles, dumplings and other goodies. Besides food, Aeronaut hosts tons of events, including trivia nights and live local bands. If you have a big party, Aeronaut has the space to accommodate, including kids. It’s no surprise that Aeronaut is IPA-oriented, but for your friend who’s not into hops, there are plenty of sours, lagers, wheat beers, and stouts on tap." - Nathan Tavares
"The beloved Somerville brewery and purveyor of heady IPAs is sending out the year with a quarter life crisis-themed New Year’s Eve bash. Prizes for the best Quarter-Life-Crisis-themed outfit (hello, horrible bangs) will be announced at 11 p.m., followed by a midnight toast at 12 a.m. Mimi’s Chuka Diner will be slinging a special menu of Directionless Fries, Grad School (Brothless) Ramen, and more from 12 to 7 p.m. for the public and 7 to 10 p.m. just for ticket holders. And the taproom is spacious, with two large rooms filled with picnic tables that makes it great for large groups. The beers are hoppy and bold, from the citrusy and fruity IPA called A Year With Dr. Nandu to the refreshing session IPA called Hop Hop & Away. It’s not ideal to come here on trivia nights if you aren’t participating, as it’s crowded and the audio system isn't the best quality. But if you do, the outdoor patio area, with giant murals, is a perfectly fine place to post up Mimi’s Chuka Diner, an amazing gyoza shop, is slated to move into the shared space soon." - valerie li stack

"A lauded pop-up centered on chūka ryōri (Japanese interpretations of Chinese food) has secured a permanent space inside Aeronaut Brewing Company in Somerville, in the former home of Tasting Counter.
