Tucson’s Best New Restaurants - Eater Phoenix

"Located at the east end of Main Gate Square, Agave House naturally showcases an extensive list of agave spirits and cocktails. While the menu includes modern elegant entrees such as the grilled salmon with chipotle agave sauce, the burro bowls are more affordably approachable for the nearby college students." - Jackie Tran

Agave House Reopens as Cajun-Creole Restaurant the Banks Drinkery & Kitchen | Eater New Orleans

"Opened last August by brothers Oscar and Allan Chimal after they bought the building that held Melt, Agave House presented a vaguely-Mexican approach intended to bring Mexican flavors to traditional local dishes, producing items like chicken enchilada pasta and crawfish nachos, while also emphasizing very bright margarita offerings; the owners pivoted less than a year after opening to reinvent the Banks Street location as The Banks Drinkery & Kitchen." - Clair Lorell

Restaurant with a “Progressive Look” at Mexican Flavors Now Open in Mid-City | Eater New Orleans

"Opened in late August in Mid-City, Agave House takes Mexican flavors as a starting point and pushes them into less traditional territory; restaurant manager Michael Corolla describes the menu as a “progressive look” at those flavors. That approach yields dishes like chicken enchilada pasta and crawfish nachos, while fans of more standard Mexican fare can still find plenty of tacos, burritos, enchilada and tortilla soups. The dessert menu includes a tres leches parfait and a churro ice cream sandwich, and the cocktail list features numerous margarita options, including an “Italian margarita” and a rosé sangria." - Alison Baitz

Mid City’s Agave House Reveals Menu | Eater New Orleans

"I’m hearing that Agave House is being pitched as a “not typical” Mexican restaurant slated to take Melt’s spot in Mid City in mid-September; the menu isn’t entirely Mexican, and you can expect tacos, quesadillas, guacamole, as well as pastas, a burger, and a steak dish." - Stephanie Carter

Google
Don’t judge a book by its cover! This place is 100 times better than it looks! With the bar and tv screens I did not have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing. The vegetarian black beans were the best I have ever had. I had the Baja fish tacos, loved them. The guacamole was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, not kidding. I highly recommend this place!

Google
I ordered the two tacos plate comes with cilantro rice and black beans as sides. I chose the shrimp(new item) and steak tacos. I particularly liked the shrimp taco, not included in the pic because I finished it before taking a picture. Recommended! The staff Boston is super nice 🩷

Google
I've had a lot of salsa in my lifetime, and Agave House has the best salsas I've ever had! They were full of unique flavors you can't get anywhere else. I also had the best Quesabirria I've ever had too. Full of flavor in every bite. Staff was super nice too. The drinks are a little pricey, but very delicious.

We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday at Agave House, and I honestly cannot say enough good things. The food was absolutely exceptional, every single dish. The wait staff was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and fast, which made hosting a large celebration feel effortless. Todd, the owner, is truly one of a kind. He is kind, welcoming, and beyond accommodating. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and their experience, and it shows in every detail. This was my first time dining here, and while we’ve been to Gentle Ben’s and Bacio Italiano, Agave House is absolutely not to be missed. The entire night was fun, memorable, and so enjoyable from start to finish. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire team for making my husband’s 50th birthday such a fantastic celebration. We will definitely be back!

Google
We parked a block down the road in a paid public lot via a text or QR code. Server Melanie was fantastic. Her patience and accuracy with our difficult order due to health issues was greatly appreciated. Our lunch meals were very good. We enjoyed sitting outside, people watching and taking advantage of nice weather. Then we walked up and down University Ave.

Google
The dish is a stacked, 3-layer chicken, green chili enchilada. It’s supposed to be spicy. It’s not. I like the baked cheese on top, but no sauce, very dry. The guacamole is $12, very small serving. OK, but nothing special. Every salsa has a few. I chose the most spicy. Not spicy at all. The “strawberry margarita” is a basic base w/ strawberry flavor. This is better for ambiance, directly across the street from U of A, so kinda nice for people watching.

Google
Everything was soooo good! The server was so sweet and the margaritas were strong and tasty!!! The tuna steak will be order again!!!

Google
We had a great dining experience at Agave House, located right in the heart of the University of Arizona campus. The food was flavorful and exceeded expectations—especially the Elote, which I tried for the first time and absolutely loved. Here’s what we ordered: • Elote • Green Enchilada • Carne Asada Bowl • Carne Asada Taco Each dish was well-prepared and packed with flavor. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. I’d definitely recommend Agave House to anyone looking for great Mexican food near U of A.

Yelp
Hannah is an amazing bartender! Super attentive and great service 10/10! Gives great recommendations for food and drinks and makes an amazing espresso martini!!

Yelp
This is a Uni Concepts restaurant ie same owners as Gentle Ben's and Bacio. I'm glad to hear that they are a community-focused group. It's also important to support locally owned businesses, as far as I know they're a local owned dining group. Today they hosted a Furlturiza meeting which is a local organization that is promoting STEM education with Latinas. They were also gracious and gave the organization some delicious food. We tipped our server for the great service. It's cool what they've done with the space that used to have the Dutch which was also a great restaurant. Definitely try this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Nice UofA main gate restaurant. Has inside, outside and inside balcony seating. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good fused Mexican restaurant focused on agave based cocktails. Turns into a club at 10pm. Food is very well prepared. We we present for theater at Centennial Hall and they worked with our time limits. We had the Ahi as a meal and a 2 taco meal. Very tasty. I don't recall the sauce on the Ahi but was good and different. Tacos were great. They get busy in evening especially if events so go to website for reservations. I don't know why we waited to come here, as we come for theater and other reasons fairly regularly to UofA area. Parking is limited and metered M-Sat until 7pm. Garages are close by as well and on street car.

Yelp
I just went to Agave House for the first time and had a great experience! I ordered the Quesabirria which came out perfectly seasoned, along with delicious sides of beans and rice. The location is extremely convenient, being right on University, and the service was great. Both the hostess and our server were attentive and helpful, recommending various dishes to our party. Overall, for the price and location, I thought that the food was definitely worth the stop. The restaurant is very chic and modern, with a slower and calmer vibe during the day but a more party-oriented atmosphere at night.

Yelp
I wanted to shout out the amazing bartenders and staff here. I came here the other night after a Broadway show for &Juliet and the food and drinks were amazing. The set up for the after party included drinks, there was vegan tacos, chips and salsa and chicken and queso. Food was soo good. The staff was friendly and was able to recommend mocktail drinks since I don't drink alcohol. The restaurant was immaculate clean and loved the vibes and atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp

Yelp
This is located adjacent to the U of A campus. Our server, Carley, was the best! She answered all our questions and was attentive throughout our experience. There were three in our party. All three of us ordered house margaritas. Clocking in at $10 for this drink, the glass was 90% ice and 10% beverage. We sipped slowly to make it last as we were not going to order another. One in our party did express our disappointment in the beverages to the bar. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce that came with their charro beans and rice. When I think of enchiladas, I think of diced onion and cotija on top. These had some sort of melty cheese and had been run under the salamander to melt everything together. The enchilada needed some seasoning and some heat. It was ok. As a table we got the chips and salsa which gave us a selection of three of their salsas. The pico had a nice fresh pop of flavor. The Verde had a little more zip. Our collective favorite was the guacamole salsa. One of my dinner companions had the Achiote Roasted Chicken with charro beans, cilantro rice, spring onions, jalapeno, ancho tomatillo salsa. She requested a side salad instead of the rice. Carley explained the up charge which was not a problem. The side salad that came was loaded with veg and my dinner companion was happy. My other companion ordered the Chicken Adobada bowl. At the time, he was looking at the salads and the entrees and couldn't decide. The bowl was the perfect combination of the two. It had ,in addition to the chicken, greens, refried beans, rice, corn, guacamole, pico, salsa Morita, and queso fresco. He enjoyed every bite. It was pricy and the food was ok. The staff is fire! They have great folks working front of house representing them.

Yelp
Decided to check this spot out before heading to our show. The service was nice, food was good. I was disappointed that they make you pay for chips n salsa, but I guess this may become the new norm. Overall, cute spot to grab a bite.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has a cute decor. I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and tacos. This place didn't offer free chips and salsa, which was a bummer. The quesabirria and salmon tacos were both very good, as was my margarita. The service was friendly, but it did take awhile to get my bill.

Yelp
Our party of seven was seated immediately and our server, Melanie, was awesome. I had the Green Enchiladas and really enjoyed them. Left completely satisfied and didn't even have any chips and salsa. The only knock on the place was the music was a bit loud for the conversation we wanted to have at our table. Will return

Yelp
When you first walk-in the ambience is very bright and airy inside. They have an outdoor patio, indoor tables/large booths, upstairs, and bar seating. Customer service was top notch on a busy Friday night! Tried three different salsas: the house salsa was just okay, tata was good but I expected spicier, and the guacamole salsa was amazing! Had the house margarita, ahi tuna negra, and quesabirria tacos. Some friends had the carna asada tortas and really enjoyed them. Since it is down by the U of A parking is the only thing that can be a hassle and take some time to find an open spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Seated upstairs, location was clean and service fast. Hostess and server very nice and answered all questions. Food was okay. Ordered chips with choice of three salsas. Unlike many Mexican restaurants you do have to pay. Chips are thick and crunchy, salsa is flavorful. Elote was a hit with my daughter. Cheese enchilada and calabacitas were so so, kind of salty and the enchilada sauce was not great. We would come back here again as it's easy and close to Centennial Hall but wouldn't made a special trip

Yelp
Love the location. The drinks were above average. We had a prickly pear margarita and the house old fashioned. We decided to just get the shrimp ceviche, guacamole and queso flameado + carne asada. You can see the pictures. The good-queso flameado with the asada was a good 4 star. The bad-shrimp ceviche was basically a cilantro pico party with a few pieces of shrimp. The ugly-cilantro party. We are some of those people that do not like cilantro so I get it, if you like it then you will like this place. The seating and ambiance was nice but still had the university buzz. The service was fine but we had to find our own silverware Overall, nothing spectacular.

Yelp
Went for Sonoran restaurant week! It was $45 for one alcoholic drink, appetizer and an entree. I came with a friend. We decided took try both appetizers: gauc and queso. Gauc was salty and chips were extremely salty. I love salt but it was overkill. You could see the salt on the chips. The gauc had a slight kick. The queso was terrible. It was manchego and another cheese I can't remember. But it hardened quickly even while hot and it just wasn't what you expect from restaurant queso. It was stringy, not much flavor and very very greasy. It came with warm tortillas which didn't make sense bc it was so difficult to portion the cheese out. It did have marinated nopales (cacti) which added some acid. Both of us went with the marinated sirloin, cooked to chef recommended temperature. It was tender and cooked properly for the most part maybe slightly over. Our palettes were blown away by salt at this point so the steak tasted salty as well. The chimichurri was ok. The beans were way too watery and wet but had ok flavor. The rice was the best Mexican rice I've had anywhere, I love that they used jasmine rice. It was cooked to perfection. It also came with tortillas which were...just ok. I saved part of my steak and had it the next day and it wasn't as salty and tasted better. I got the el jardin cocktail. It has respado, agave, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeno. It was great. I would absolutely come back for this cocktail. Blew my mind. Service was good and ambiance was extremely casual. Lots of university students but that's expected bc of the location. Overall I wouldn't come back.

Yelp
We stopped here after lunch for some drinks. The bartenders were super friendly. We talked to them about living in New York and the Mid-West while they crafted our drinks. They have a bar, indoor and outdoor tables available for patrons. We didn't get any food but the drinks were good. The bartenders suggested some of their favorites. It was fun to sit out on the patio and watch the people on University Blvd wander by. I love a good people watch and Agave House is in a prime people watching spot.

Yelp
I went here twice with two distinct experiences: This was not on my list during my stay in Tucson, but decided to try it out because a lot of other restaurants were closed on the holiday. Upon entering, I was impressed by the beautiful interior design but suspicious at how empty the place was. Besides my table, there was only one other one that was occupied. The waitress who served us was very nice and explained her recommendations. Food: I ordered the Carne Asada and Pibil (one of each) taco Combo and my boyfriend ordered the Quesabirria taco combo.I like that they are flexible with their options and allow mix-and-match. I ended up enjoying the Quesabirria taco the most. The combo came with Rice and Beans, which were standard and filling. After my first visit, I convinced a friend to try it out. This time, it was completely different. We went during the evening and it was packed and noisy. It gave more of a nightlife vibe, which didn't bother me too much. However, our waitress took forever to get our orders, to bring out the food, and even to get the bill! We were starving by the time the food came out. My friend and I ate in complete silence. After paying, we were waiting for the customer's receipt and she never came back, so we gave up and just walked out. My friend didn't complain, but I can tell she wasn't impressed and I was embarrassed for hyping it up so much. In conclusion, if you are a college student wanting some drinks and snacks with a lively vibe, this works for the weekend. However, if you're older and want a proper meal and a relaxed ambiance, I wouldn't recommend it. I think the main reason why it was so chill the first time I went was because it was a holiday.

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Our server was great, he had the whole bottom floor to work but still did great with checking on us. Agave House is on a busy college street with lots of open windows to people watch. We enjoyed our tacos and the rice was great. My marg was also really good.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to for a business lunch near the university this is a great place. The atmosphere is opening and welcoming. Service turn around is quick, letting you get back to work within an hours time. However the food is just alright and it's a bit in the pricy side compared to all the great Mexican restaurants in Tucson.
google avatar

Talisa M.

Yelp
I stopped by Agave House today seeing that they had just opened at 11am. Wanting to get a bite before getting some work done at a nearby tea shop, this felt like the perfect opportunity to try something new. The space it bright and inviting. I love the larger ceilings and plenty of seating indoors (upstairs balcony too!) and outside with misters. Staff were kind, helpful and chill which definitely supported the experience being enjoyable. Finally I couldn't pass up trying the house made agua fresca Strawberry Hibiscus... which is super tasty. Took my leftovers to go and left a happy customer. *Vegetarian options available and without queso fresco I was able to make this a plant based meal. Food wise I ordered the sweet potato tacos w/ house made Agave salsa. This dish came with black refried beans and cilantro lime rice. Note: beans are spicy and rice is a yummy mild flavor. I also ordered some tortilla chips and guacamole, can't go wrong with that!
google avatar

Maiko K.

Yelp
I was very impressed with this place. To be honest I was thinking this was going to be one of those "pretty place with mediocre food" (sorry ) but I was WRONG. First of all, their guac is fire. It's on the spicy side (for me at least) but really good! I couldn't stop eating it! And me being a sucker for bowls, I ordered carde asada bowl as an entree. It was exactly how I like my bowl to be. Good balance of protein, veggies and rice! Service was very good as well. My friend had a place to go afterwars and our server made sure food order was placed and check was brought earlier so she doesn't need to rush out. As for ambience, I don't think I even need to mention it. Their decor is hip and perfect for the area and the mural by Danny Martin adds extra awesomeness to the restaurant! Im sure a lot of out-of-towners visit this restaurant since it's close to college and it's a great representation of th city!

Ryan H.

Yelp
Outstanding Service and a delicious meal. It was my first time here and the staff was very welcoming and gave a great recommendation on a meal. Seeing what was being brought out to other tables made it seem like it was tough to go wrong.

Yelp
In Tucson and wanted to check out the campus and off campus -- and it's day one of the ncaa tournament. So we stopped by to watch a bit of the MSU game, we are from Michigan. And this bar/restaurant was so kind. They worked hard to get the game on and they were super friendly. We didn't eat there, just had a drink and sat for 30 minutes. But service they are 5 star.

Claudia R.

Yelp
Really good food!!!! Birria tacos are good! Drinks are yummy! Nachos are amazing! The bowl asada was also very tasty! The salmon plate was delicious
google avatar

Yelp
Great service even on a crazy busy UofA Family Weekend! We love this place it's right next to campus, great food, strong drinks, and not as packed as some of the other bars nearby especially on game days.
google avatar

Eniola I.

Yelp
First, I have not been on University for a while, so I was shocked that this was a new restaurant. My friend and I went here during Sonoran week, so we tried their menu dedicated for the week. The space of the restaurant is a bit tight given that it used to be the Dutch, so it's not a big deal. The drinks were really good as I had a margarita. The service can improve, because it took us a while to get our food. As for the food, it was not too enticing. I wished our queso was not too thick, and our steak could have more seasoning. Maybe I need to try another item next time.
google avatar

Gabby M.

Yelp
Everything was so good! I couldn't picture everything we had, but it was all very delicious. It's been hard for my family and I to find good Mexican restaurants, so this one pleasantly surprised us. I got the Red Cheese Enchiladas with its side of Charro beans and rice. I can't stop talking about the Charro beans. The cheese was really salty, so the beans were a good palette cleanser. The rice was yummy, perfectly flavored. My own dad's rice is the best, but this one was definitely up there. I had the East Side Mocktail too, and it was very refreshing and tangy. Essentially like an agua fresca. My family members had the Carne Asada tacos, the Pork Pibil bowl, and the Chicken Adobada bowl, and they all really enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent too. Hostess was friendly, waiter was very knowledgeable and even double-checked with us if an item was too spicy and made swaps without prompting. All in all, a great experience. I will say it was a bit loud with the music but it wasn't a huge problem. We'll be back!

Yelp
Got the birria tacos and they were delicious! The ambience is hip and modern. Our server was very nice and made some great recs

Yelp
The giant margarita is a great deal on Monday's, but having to pay for chips and salsa on top of the already extremely expensive subpar entres makes it more of a drinks only place for me.

Yelp
Went to Agave Blue in Tucson and it was very good. Great atmosphere, good food and great service. Would def go back again

Brandi J.

Yelp
I was in town for work and staying in a hotel near the University. There were tons of options but decided to go with a place with good reviews since there were so many options but not so great reviews. Even though this restaurant is downtown, parking was easy to find. There street parking and a parking structure nearby The staff was very nice. We were sat immediately upon entering. The waitress gave great suggestions and was also very nice and enthusiastic. We chose the loaded tamales which had been added to the menu today. The green tamale had a sweet flavor while the red tamale had a bit of a kick. I chose the smoked pork chop. The serving size was very generous, it came with beans and rice a grilled pepper and green onions. I would definitely recommend this dish if you're craving pork chops.
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
Great food and good atmosphere. My family was sat in the upstairs balcony, I loved that it was away from the crowd, and the bar stools were so comfy. Food sizes are fairly large. Everything tasted great, a bit on the spicy side. I ordered the chicken adobada bowl, comes with Mexican rice, black beans (smashed), corn, guac, tomato salsa, and greens. A very balanced bowl! I do have to knock down a star though because I think they accidentally overcharged us. We got one pork pibil plate with an extra taco (aka a plate with 3 tacos total). A singular taco is $5, and the pork pibil taco plate costs $15. We were charged $16.50 instead for the plate but were also separately charged $5 for the extra taco (see receipt compared to menu below). But I understand mistakes do happen, and we still had a decent dining experience.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch at Agave House today, and were pretty happy with it! The space is very light and airy, with colorful decor and great music playing. We started with chips and salsa, for which you can pick three salsas. We got Salsa Verde, Tata's Hot, and Morita. All three were very good; the Salsa Verde and Tata's were pretty standard red and green salsa, but the Morita had a much more robust flavor that I enjoyed. We got the carne asada tacos and the quesabirria tacos, and both types of tacos were quite good! The quesabirria in particular had good seasoning, and the tortilla held up well to the moisture levels of the meat and jus. The rice was fine, but the beans were, frankly, disappointing. The beans had very little flavor, despite what appeared to be meat of some variety in the mix with them. Maybe dumping in salt or salsa would have helped, but I didn't bother trying. I only took a few bites before abandoning them completely, since they only took away from how good the tacos were. Our server was very friendly, and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Other than the lackluster beans, my only other negative note is the price, which just felt a bit high for a casual meal of tacos. The food is good, but it's hard not to do the mental "oh, but I'd only pay $X for this same meal at _____" game when there are so many amazing taco spots in Tucson. Having said that, though, I'd say it's a strong option if you're looking for a fun, sit-down Mexican meal next to campus.

Yelp
Happened to come during restaurant week, so my friend and I decided to check it out. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the quality and authenticity of the food since it's situated so closely to the college center, but I left the restaurant loving it! I believe our waiter was newer to the position (just from a conversation we heard) but he was very on top of everything and checked in constantly to make sure things were okay! The food was also delicious! We ordered a ahi tuna negra, salmon taco plate, and carne asada taco plate. The ahi tuna negra was probably my favorite - it was a surprisingly refreshing combination with the avocado, cheese, and the tortilla chips! The salmon taco plate was a second favorite just because I don't think I've really tried combining cooked salmon pieces into a taco, and it was pretty good. Drink wise, we ordered a Mexican candy to try and it was pretty sweet, as expected. Would try another drink next time because they seem to have a good amount of options to choose from!

Yelp
Agave House, a campus scene, New Mexico style--red or green. Margaritas strong, enchiladas great, But no sopapillas for my plate. Still no doubt I'll return for more, A tasty spot that earns a four!

Yelp
I just went here for the first time on Saturday and really loved it. The food was delicious and those patio misters are delightful. I had the salmon tacos. One small complaint is that one some of the salmon pieces they Grey nasty part was still on it making it super fishy tasting and I had to take out the salmon and cut it off myself. Other than that it was well seasoned. Great selection of cocktails. Husband had the steak tacos and they were perfect. I will absolutely eat here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! We were super impressed with Agave House - service was fast and friendly, decor was cute and trendy and the food and drinks were really good! It's not often that you find a place that functions as well as a bar and restaurant and this is it! We had house margaritas and tried the salsa trio (Tata's, verde, guacamole), carne asada tacos and chicken adobo bowl. Everything was really good!
google avatar

Kathy O.

Yelp
Everything. Wrong. Server took forever to wait on us. One of the persons in the party didn't even get their food AND was charged for it. I had to ask twice for our sever. Charged gratuity for large party but definitely wasn't worth it!!! My first time there coming from Chandler and last time. Not recommended at all. Then I tried calling on separate days to complain and get my charges cleared and kept getting hung up on!!!

Yaya R.

Yelp
Drinks were to die for! If your in the mood for a new place, ask for there recommendations were top notch.

Yelp
After entering, I thought this place had a gorgeous interior! Very trendy and new. Margs were delicious, guac was served fresh and with perfect portions. Loved how the enchiladas were New Mexico style- such a fun change!

Yelp
I accidentally marked 1/5. The real review should be 3/5. Food was tasty, wasn't fantastic but was good and creative options. Service was really bad, extremely long waits for refreshment refills and no check ins. Ambiance was nice, I like the environment. I would return to this spot but the service really let me down this time. When I return, if get more attentive service I will update my review accordingly.

Yelp
I came here last week and thought the restaurant was really cute. The Ranchera Asada was delicious. The Chicken Adobada bowl was just ok. The Coco Loco was just ok as well.

Yelp
This is a nice lunch option near the university. It can get busy, but the servers hustle and the food is tasty. A nice addition to the Main Gate selection. I had the red cheese enchiladas and trio of salsas this last visit and all was very tasty.

Yelp
Nice "hip" place (Hmm maybe that's not the current term) nice place. Looks like the kinda place students would have a great time. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. It's worth a stop

Yelp
Loved the simple Mexican ambiance and good food. The proximity to Centennial hall was great.

Yelp
I always start with appetizers, beginning with ceviche & cucumbers coated in tajin and never make my way to the actual menu. They also just got an edible printer for their cocktails, and it's definitely the coolest thing for a special occasion like birthday, or anniversary. You send your photo in to a QR code and it prints. Here is a photo of my husband on my coconut margarita. They also use 21 seeds tequila in this specific drink & it's out of this world! Highly suggest!!

Yelp
Excellent service, food, and drinks. We had the ahi tuna negra, carne asada tacos, and elote. Our server was awesome and recommended the full Monty, coco loco, and the prickly pear margarita. Everything was amazing! Great atmosphere and great experience all the way around!

Yelp
The guacamole was decent but the set up was weird, you really had to dig to access it in the bowl. I ordered a prickly pear margarita and it was good, the bartender def didn't skimp on the liquor! Kirren our waitress was sweet, apologies if I misspelled your name! I ordered a quesabirria, a salmon and a calabacita taco and honestly wasn't impressed by any of them. I asked for no jalapenos on the salmon but as you can see from the photo, it's still there! That Mexican rice was delicious, ate every scoop! The ambiance was cool, kind of a chill, sexy vibe, it was pretty quiet but school is out for winter break. I'd go back for drinks ‍

Yelp
I absolutely love Agave! The food is delicious from just wanting a little snack like guacamole to their tacos that I could have every single day. Their servers are so sweet and personable. I bring my dog in to the outdoor seating area and my dog even loves Agave so much and the servers there that he pulls me to Agave. Ambience just adds to the amazingness.

Yelp
I've been eyeing this place for awhile and if there's a better time to visit, it's when college is out for the summer and finding parking is a bit easier. There was an event indoors when we arrived so we were offered either upstairs or on the patio. We opted for the patio and luckily it offered plenty of cover from the monsoon rainstorm that erupted while we dined. We ordered the flautas that were more like tacos to start off with. The flavors were incredibly rich and could serve as a meal alone. Also ordered salmon bowl and pork pibil bowl, both highly recommend. The pork bowl was more spicy if you're into that.
