A truly exceptional dining experience at Agli Amici, Rovinj! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were warmly welcomed and guided to our table with such care and professionalism. The experience began with delightful snacks and sparkling wine in the lounge bar, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The tasting menu, paired with exquisite wines selected by Croatia’s top sommelier, was a highlight. Each dish and wine pairing conveyed a unique story, creating an emotional journey that resonates throughout the entire experience. The atmosphere and attention to detail made the evening at Agli Amici truly unforgettable. Lovely place and atmosphere, with a decent 6 course set. Very nice terrace with sunset, you start to your dinner in the lounge with light snacks. 9/10 🌟 Main menu of 2 choices: Fisch or Land (most dishes are vegan + lamb). We've chosen the Fisch menu. Overall decent menu for a 2* restaurant but there were nuances. 7/10 🌟 Lobster serving was different, in one plate it was a bit soggy, while in the another it was perfectly cooked. The jellyfish dish is very interesting in flavor, but the mussel was a bit tough. The chef is often in the hall, but I would like more attention from him. For example, when Italian guests appeared, he spent almost all the time at their table. Desserts did not delight, 6/10 🌟 It's worth noting the excellent timing of the pitches, all without long pauses - in one breath. 10/10 🌟 Worth a visit to Rovinj for sure 👌

Our evening at Agli Amici in Rovinj was nothing short of exceptional. Overlooking the azure waters of the Adriatic, this refined restaurant is a sanctuary for food lovers, where every dish is a testament to the passion and creativity of Chef Emanuele Scarello and his talented team. We opted for the Istria tasting menu, and each dish was perfectly balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The flavors were a delightful journey through the region’s culinary heritage, presented with modern finesse. The service was attentive, complementing the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Every course offered a new and memorable taste experience, showcasing the creativity and tradition of Istrian cuisine. We highly recommend this dining experience for anyone visiting Rovinj!

Amazing experience. The food was excelent. Each dish beautifully presented. The service was friendly and the ambiance perfect with sunset. Highly deserving of Michelin star. You can chose 2 diffrend menu. 3+ hours.

Epitome of the art of hospitality! Welcome drink aperitif at a Summer-lounge like low table and sofas, by the dining table. Already charmed by the cosy and classy atmosphere. Confirmed with the amuse-bouche, striking with their taste, originality of flavours and textures and with their presentation. Fish tasting menu is an ode to fish lovers and beauty. Each plate if a flamboyant display of refinement, subtle association of fragrances, tastes, textures, colors. Service is high class, discreet though attentive, without getting obsequious. And the view on the terrasse, above the sea, is irresistible. We would come back to Rovinj specifically to dine there again. Fabulous.

I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in Agli Amici. What I liked the most here is that they did a very nice and subtle combination of Italian and Croatian cuisine which made the experience very exciting for me. I loved the idea of having an additional seating area behind our table, so we could enjoy the snacks and drinks with a comfortable arrangement and a fantastic sunset. The staff were very helpful and friendly at the same time. If I come back to Rovinj, I would definitely visit here again.

Gotta say the same as I said about monte. But I believe agli is a step up in taste compared to Monte, but both are unique experiences! Service and atmosphere here is perfection. Food is excellent - we are not common fine dining folks, and this culinary experience was amazing - but in the end the price is steep with drinks and it’s not a ‘do it more than once’ thing for us at $500/couple. We loved the experience and it is absolutely worth it once for everyone who can splurge!

It is unbelievable to me that this has 1 Michelin star. In my opinion it shouldn’t even have a recommendation. The service was awful, confusing and messy. The wines have poorly presented and didn’t match the food well enough. It felt like the priority was on how the food looked instead of how it tasted. My girlfriend requested a vegetarian menu and was serve a cheese plate as a main dish while the others had a proper dish. She was charged the same price for the menu until we complained. We gave extensive feedback at the end of the meal and their justification is that the team is new and only has been working there for 6 days. Personally I do not think this is acceptable given the price they charge. Do not go!!! There are better fine dining experiences in the area.
