"A restaurant and bar nestled in the heart of Boston College territory has decided to vacate the college town for good. Agoro’s Pizza Bar and Grill closed down over the weekend, with the owner citing his growing family and a poor fit within the neighborhood, per BC’s student newspaper, The Heights." - Dana Hatic

Agoro's is a great place with a nice atmosphere and DELICIOUS pizza. I recommend "The Boz," which has been fantastic every time. The owner/manager has been very attentive and has given great recommendations. That being said, this place is relatively new, and there have been times where there were clearly not enough staff and service from the waiting staff has been slow/questionable. Nonetheless, we're going to keep coming back!

Summary - the high prices at this place (apps for $14, fries for $8) do not justify the below average quality of food. I would gladly pay more if the food was any better. Went to this place on a wednesday night - was utterly disappointed with the food. The chicken moscato had flavor but the chicken was rubbery so I sent it back. We also got a pizza which wasnt terrible, but you get better pizza almost anywhere in Boston.

I WANTED to like the pizza. I really did. I took advantage of their "Beat the Clock" Wednesday night cheese pizza deal (call after 7pm and you pay the price of the time that you call I.e. I called at 7:16 and paid $7.16). This is a new limited time promotion to drive traffic and get people to eat their pizza. All I gotta say is this: you know that crust that all the house of pizza places use that tastes like cardboard? That's their crust. Just a sad letdown. Hopefully it's a cool place to go for drinks and dancing or something, cause the pizza is definitely not doing it....

CLOSED LAST SUNDAY FOR GOOD WITHOUT ANY PRIOR ANNOUNCEMENT!! They owned the property for about two years and I don't think they were opened to the public for even a year. Multiple violations for serving minors, and now I hear that a 75 year woman got inadvertently stuck in the middle of a fist fight and got hurt. I guess that maybe put them over the edge for wanting to stay in Cleveland Circle. They weren't packing them in nearly every night like Roggie's had been doing for over twenty years prior. Menu was too yuppy for the location, lacked the serous comfort food options Roggie's had. Have also learned that the new business going in there will not serve pizza. What a loss for the neighborhood.

Ordered through grub hub. They canceled the order because they didn't have one of the items but never contacted me to let me know it was canceled. I called the restaurant after I had waited over the time it was supposed to arrive and it was at that time that they informed me that the order was canceled. No apology, rude staff person. Will never order from them again.

The food is decent, except the mowie wowie pizza I ordered was too salty, it didn't make me feel good. Nice staff.

Food is good but the website is wrong. They aren't open the hours posted and if they are no one answers the phone. Also they advertise delivery but I don't think Chestnut Hill Ave delivers. Please fix your website!

I saw some really good stand up comedy. here on Tuesday night 7 to 10. Two beers and a small pizza plus tip for $20.
