We arrived just before lunch and were told we’d need to wait 15–20 minutes for the kitchen to open. That was fine, but during that time, no one offered us water, drinks, or even acknowledged us again. We just sat there, waiting.
When we were finally able to order, service remained slow and disorganized. Curious about the restaurant’s Michelin recognition, we asked our server about it. She informed us it had been for a drink they no longer even serve — not exactly what we expected.
It took a while just to get our lemonades and water. Eventually, we ordered cheeseburgers. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. The fries were excellent, and the burger was tasty — but then things took a serious turn: I bit into my burger and found a piece of metal wire inside.
We flagged down a different waitress, who said she’d speak to the kitchen. Ten minutes later, she returned, took the burger without a word of reassurance, and disappeared. Another 15 minutes passed before she brought out a replacement — again, without an apology, without a manager checking in, and with no clarity on whether the item was removed from the bill (it wasn’t).
There was zero acknowledgment of how dangerous that situation was. No apology, no comped item, no ownership. Just a shrug and long delays. On top of that, service throughout was inattentive. Nobody offered refills. It was hard to get anyone’s attention as the staff seemed more interested in chatting and scrolling their phones than actually serving tables.
We came here based on glowing reviews and the Michelin mention, expecting something special. Instead, we got one of the most frustrating dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We won’t be returning.
