"For dinner, the fresh pasta here cannot be beat! But Agrodolce also happens to be one of the best spots for brunch in Fremont. They have an amazing patio if dining al fresco is your thing." - Wintr

"Agrodolce mills their own flours and shoves random ingredients in their pasta dough, so you’ll notice anything from emmer wheat rigatoni and arugula cavatelli to black pepper spaghetti. You’ll probably end up sitting on a bench crowded with decorative pillows, or at a table underneath the tree casually planted in the center of the restaurant, which is to say that it’s an ideal spot for an early-in-the-game date." - Aimee Rizzo

"The focus remains on Sicilian and Southern Italian specialties, with flour milled in the restaurant’s basement for the array of handmade pastas." - Megan Hill

The service is a bit slow but it’s a cute establishment and the server was so kind. The house made sausage and broccoli were delicious. The pasta was not my favorite the pesto was too watery for my preference.

I absolutely loved it. Our host/waiter was friendly and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. The place looked very charming inside and out. I want to order the sardine pasta (not what it was actually called) dish again!

Really confused about the negative reviews for this place. Sounds like folks wanted something other than Italian?? We were blown away by how good and understated this brunch was. No lines, EXCELLENT mimosa deal, and the handmade pasta??? Aghhh! I was extremely happy about my raw egg on top that I was encouraged to toss into my pasta sauce to make "extra gooey". Course if you arent as into raw egg like me, you can get something like chicken and waffles. So good!

My team and I come here for lunch pretty regularly, and though it initially made a poor impression, Agrodolce is starting to grow on me. The first time I came, I had some kind of grains bowl -- it was like farro in onion broth, and I was in an anti-onion phase. Subsequent times I have had their durum bucatini with ragu (good) and their vegetable ash ditalini with duck and corn (very good). The one time I ordered dessert, it was beautiful and inventive. Note that the room is north-facing, and thus, a little chilly in the winter. Bundle up or be prepared to order hot tea. But in short, stick to the pasta and you'll be alright!

I came here on Sunday lunch and it appeared this was a special brunch menu. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting genuine Italian food. I had a kale salad which was really good and then aj omelet which was ok. Service was ok too.

Offensively expensive for what it is. My wife and I went for our anniversary so I'm trying to be positive and take it in stride but geez... We enjoyed the cocktails and our salad. She ordered vegetarian pasta that was ok but like half a cup of cooked pasta for $24. I ordered salmon and broccoli for $28 and both could have easily been done better at home. (Check out the sliced broccoli stalks!) All in all our bill was $150 w tip for what was not much food and pretty poorly executed. I'd suggest they hire some quality kitchen staff and figure out portions and pricing if they want to stay in business. We don't need a ton of food, but we also don't want the feeling that are fools for paying to eat at this mediocre restaurant.

Excellent food and friendly service. We had the carrot arancini, grilled octopus, fig and onion caramelle, and squid ink pasta. Everything was delicious, and perfectly paced. Dinner felt leisurely, but at no point did I wonder where our server was. This is a great date spot, or place for a quiet dinner with a small group.

Great place for a special night out. The pastas are incredible. Also love the soups, polenta fries, and broccoli. Good cocktails, too.
