Ai Pero PURS Authentic Italian Trattoria

Service was extremely slow, 1h20 for food to be served for a table of 10, which is too much. When we requested an update, we received no apologies, just an estimated time we would need to wait. I took the salmon with mash potatoes, salmon and sauce was delicious, I can’t say the same for the over-salted potato, which was impossible to eat. When I complained, I only received a “sorry” and no meaningful solution.

This is our second time here and we enjoyed a lovely family dinner together on a Sunday evening. Service was excellent with courses coming at a nice pace and our wine glasses always topped up. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive and allowed our family to have an enjoyable meal together. We had a well presented caprese, and some tasty small pastas as starters. For our mains, our table had various pizzas with a crispy thin crust, a pasta vongole was generous with lots of clams in a sweet briny sauce and grilled octopus which was a large portion of 3 tentacles served on its own. The portions were sufficient for all items ordered and we did not need any additional sides although voracious eaters may choose to order more. Parking close to the restaurant can be challenging but within a 5 min walk there are plenty of options.

The most enriching food experience I have ever had. I didn't like every dish, but I also don't have the most refined palette. The waiter was amazing at explaining everything about the dishes, and the atmosphere was great. Only comeplaint would be the sometimes flickering lights, but that's not nearly enough to rate this place 4 stars.

The place was very warm and the staff very kind. Especially the pizzas were extraordinary 😍 I enjoyed it every single bite !!!!… surely I will come again and again to try every pizza in the meny✨

I have been there a few times now during my visits to Andernach … the food is awesome .. the ambience is fantastic.. the service personnel are very friendly… a must go place for a nice experience.

Outstanding, everything from Anchovy appetizer to entrees and service ... great German white wine offerings and an excellent European wine list ... one Michelin Star and the chef was on site and active ... if you find yourself in this town looking for a good meal, this is the place for sure !!!!
