The 25 Best Things to Do in Dubai

"Officially the world's largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai is 75 meters taller than the London Eye. Towering over Bluewaters Island, the wheel affords sweeping views from 250 meters in the air. Not only is it visible from so many of Dubai's vantage points, this attraction appeals to just about everyone—schools, businesses, families, tourists, and locals alike. Rides on the structure are ticketed, with passes sold at the venue or online." - Melinda Healy

Ain Dubai — Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Tell me: What’s this place all about? Officially the world's largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai is 75 meters taller than the London Eye . Towering over Bluewaters Island, the wheel affords sweeping views of the emirate from as high as 250 meters in the air. Rides on the permanent structure are ticketed with passes sold at the venue or online. What’s it like being there? In a word—breathtaking. A 38-minute ride on a clear day is awe-inspiring. Is there a guide involved? No. There are no guides within the high-tech air-conditioned cabins. Who comes here? Ain Dubai appeals to locals and tourists, it was highly anticipated for a long time and definitely delivers all round appeal. Did it meet expectations? State-of-the-art. Dubai residents have watched the wheel's construction with interest for the past few years. It was worth the wait and is as good as expected. A whole new perspective, that is what it provides. So then what, or who, do you think it’s best for? An attraction you can't ignore. Not only is it visible from so many of Dubai's vantage points, this attraction appeals to just about everyone—schools, businesses, families, tourists, and locals. Right up there with so many of the UAE's best attractions. Plenty of options and the price is not too steep. It will be challenging if you're afraid of heights." - Melinda Healy

Fantastic area. The coach is safe, clean and big. The service at the restaurant is great. The photos are very nice and cheap. The souvenir shop is full of moments to bring home with great prices. I love the leather bags from camel skin. It's worth a visit.

Such an amazing view of Dubai and certainly an impressive structure! The wheel’s movement is smooth, and definitely be ready with your cameras to capture the views. There are different pods to choose from, so you can either just view or have some food and drink served to you or just bring your own and enjoy a little snack as you go around the wheel. Keep your receipt so you can get free parking!

I visited during sunset, and it was absolutely magical and beautiful. The views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere inside made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai

Well worth a visit, it takes about 40 mins to go the whole way around. At busy times, the pods hold 40 people, and it's definitely busier in the evenings. You can see the palm and some lovely views. We were here in June, and it was hot so there was a slight dust haze across the skyline. The pods are air conditioned and we were lucky to have one all to ourselves as we went in the afternoon.

One of those spots you just have to visit. It’s the world’s largest observation wheel — and the views are amazing! The ride takes about 40 minutes, all cabins have A/C, so it’s cool and comfortable the whole time. Not scary at all. Tickets start at 149 AED. If you’re in Dubai — don’t miss it!

This was truly a remarkable experience, loved every second of it. The staff is friendly amd always helpful where necessary, one of the top things to do in Dubai the views are exceptional, not badly priced at all. Also it was out of season so there were no queues and not busy at all. Best to go at sunset, you can see the palm, the marina beach and great views of skyscrapers. It is a wonderful place to walk around and have a stroll at sunset or in the evening, take the time to enjoy and relax. There is a bus from the metro station that leaves and drops you off at blue waters.

My son and I had a great time on the Dubai Ain. We’d booked tickets in advance so didn’t have to queue. Free Lockers are provided for items not allowed to be carried on with you - ie, cigarettes, lighters. There were only 2 other guests in our cabin, plus a Waiter serving our drinks. Great views and a lovely experience. Afterwards we had drinks in the Lounge and bought some souvenirs from the attached Gift shop.

Ain Dubai delivers a memorable experience with its stunning views and luxurious setup. While the cost may be a drawback, the awe-inspiring perspective of Dubai makes it worth at least one visit. Best enjoyed at twilight for the perfect blend of day and night scenery.
