Airfield Living

The hotel is conveniently located along the number 29 bus route, two stops away from Findel Airport. The building consists of seven hotel rooms, a Michelin star restaurant named Fields, and what is said to be a cocktail bar (one table). The restaurant is the clear focus of the whole operation. We never saw anyone on reception, and entry is by key code to both the building and a locker holding your hotel key. The room was well-appointed in a minimalist style, with a roomy bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, and plenty of storage space. Very clean and despite being on a fairly busy road, the room was quiet with no traffic noise.||However, I would not stay here again because there is nowhere to get a bite to eat or have a drink – there are no restaurants or amenities nearby. (We did not want to go to the Michelin star restaurant at a cost of €170 per person, but in any event it was sold out that night. The cocktail bar was in use by a private party so couldn't go there.) At the time I booked, I was informed that breakfast would be available. However, a day or two before check-in, I received an email saying breakfast was not available.

We flew into Luxembourg before heading to Belgium, this hotel was the perfect place to stay. A bus ride from the airport and a short walk got us there in no time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We weren’t able to arrive during reception hours, but our host was accommodating and communicative about the check-in process which made our check-in simple and easy.

Nice and modern hotel. Was for 1 night to go to Paris the next day. We will definitely come back. Hotel is located near the airport, but you don't hear the planes inside... well insulated

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Check-in was easy. It was very quiet as well.

My dining experience at Airfield Restaurant in Luxembourg was truly exceptional, deserving a strong 4.5/5 rating. This upscale dining venue proved its mettle with a menu that, while not extensive, delivered on quality and taste. The evening started with the CJ Sparrow cocktail, which was satisfactory but did not particularly stand out. It was a decent beginning that was pleasantly overshadowed by the stellar dishes that followed. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Beef Fillet accompanied by Pont-Neuf fries and Béarnaise sauce. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, each bite melting effortlessly in my mouth. The fries were a delightful classic, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the creamy, rich Béarnaise sauce complemented the dish beautifully, adding a luxurious touch to every forkful. Dessert continued the high standard set by the main course. The Financier Cake with strawberries was sublime. The cake was moist and almond-rich, providing a lovely texture contrast to the fresh, juicy strawberries. It was a well-balanced dessert that rounded off the meal with a burst of sweetness. The service at Airfield Restaurant was impeccable. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring that each part of the dining experience flowed smoothly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. While Airfield is not the most budget-friendly option, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justify the price. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of both service and culinary delight. I would recommend Airfield Restaurant to those seeking a high-quality dining experience in Luxembourg. Although the menu could benefit from a few more options to offer greater variety, what is available is executed wonderfully. Whether it's a special occasion or a treat for the discerning palate, Airfield Restaurant is sure to impress.

Nice atmosphere & friendly service yet the cuisine & cocktail recipes needs some improvement. We found savoury dishes over-sweetened. While umami has completely lost its meaning.

Great place, nice food, good price/quality ratio. Very pleasant and efficient service. Try the virgin moscow mule ... great flavors. The vegetarian dish is a delight. Go and support them during these tough times.
