My dining experience at Airfield Restaurant in Luxembourg was truly exceptional, deserving a strong 4.5/5 rating. This upscale dining venue proved its mettle with a menu that, while not extensive, delivered on quality and taste.
The evening started with the CJ Sparrow cocktail, which was satisfactory but did not particularly stand out. It was a decent beginning that was pleasantly overshadowed by the stellar dishes that followed.
The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Beef Fillet accompanied by Pont-Neuf fries and Béarnaise sauce. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, each bite melting effortlessly in my mouth. The fries were a delightful classic, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the creamy, rich Béarnaise sauce complemented the dish beautifully, adding a luxurious touch to every forkful.
Dessert continued the high standard set by the main course. The Financier Cake with strawberries was sublime. The cake was moist and almond-rich, providing a lovely texture contrast to the fresh, juicy strawberries. It was a well-balanced dessert that rounded off the meal with a burst of sweetness.
