Stopped in here briefly while walking up and down Broadway. Could see and hear music in the window and also saw a sign for $4.00 Jell-O shots. My friends and I ventured in.
To start with, this place is small. I have heard that there is a rooftop patio area, but it was freezing this night in Nashville and it wasn't open that I could tell. That left just the bar area and it is small. The bar itself has maybe 10 stools and there are only two small tables beyond that to sit. That's not a lot of room if you want a group, but just past the tables is a bit of empty space, so perhaps that gets filled in when it gets busy.
My friends each got some of the Jell-O shots. I passed on them. They told me they were very good and to try one, but I don't do Jell-O shots at all. We hung out and listened to the band, but we were in here less than 10 minutes. There really wasn't anywhere to sit, so I leaned up against a support pole and my friends stood against a wall. Not exactly a design that lends itself to people staying for hours and dropping some serious cash.
Band was a bit on the loud side. Not their fault -- the acoustics are a bit wonky in there the way it is designed. I liked the band, so at least they brought in someone worth having, but no place to really sit and stay for a while, there was no reason to stay.
This place is okay to pop your head in to and check it out -- and perhaps the rooftop area is nice when it is open -- but for just the ground floor of a bar...? Not enough seating, I'm afraid.
