The Full List of Paris's Michelin Star Restaurants in The MICHELIN Guide France 2024

"At Akabeko , it’s all about a subtle, French-Japanese omakase menu created by Yasuo Nanaumi. The experienced Japanese chef opened the restaurant with his son, who takes care of proceedings front of house. In this gorgeous little place, diners can shift seamlessly between the two cultures, as they tuck into dishes such as foie gras with teriyaki sauce or deep-fried sole goujonnettes with dashi." - Le Guide MICHELIN

"This restaurant, which is home to Japanese chef Yasuo Nanaumi, who trained in star establishments, sports a ground-floor space with just a counter and a more upmarket, romantic dining room upstairs. At lunch and dinner, the chef crafts a surprise omakase (which literally means “I leave it up to you”) menu, reflecting his Japanese culture and his passion for French gastronomy, depicted by dishes such as foie gras with teriyaki sauce or sole goujonnettes with dashi. The entire team bends over backwards to ensure the wellbeing of their diners." - Michelin Inspector

Lovely restaurant with two different ambiences. We sat in the main room upstairs. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! French - Japanese fusion did not materialize entirely. However, the experience was worth trying, although was quite expensive. They treated us very nicely! 🙏🏻

An absolute delight. It was my second time here at Akabeko and the food was just consistently planned and executed to perfection. I love the fact that the presentation / ambience is not “over done” for the sake of photo worthy moments like some other famous restaurants. The focus is always on the food and their flavor. Well balanced, very consistent, and value for money. Totally deserve a Michelin star in my opinion!!

Beautiful and thoughtful restaurant. We were very excited for the 7 course omakase with wine pairing and it did not disappoint. The dishes were artfully crafted. The veal and monkfish were outstanding! Dessert was light and fruitful but very satisfying. The first floor setting is beautifully decorated with blush pastel tones. It was wonderful to meet the chef at the end of the meal.

Outstanding food and fabulous service. Menu selected for you. Our favourite was the gazpacho which was bursting with flavours. All dishes were beautifully presented.

I enjoyed my experience here. The dishes were creative and the service was excellent. The place also has a beautiful ambience. Not every dish was a home run. There were 2-3/7 dishes that were good but not amazing (I.e. foie gras, dessert). But the remainder were excellent. The fish was fantastic. It was clear that a lot of thought went into each dish. Finally, they were quite accommodating of my requests including adjusting the pace of the entire course. I was pleased with the quality of the service.

Sublime meal, skillfully created and executed by the chef and his team. We savored every single morsel with the hope that the flavors will last forever in our taste buds and hearts. For sure an unique and exceptional dining experience meant for everyone to enjoy. Grazie mille di tutto cuore!

Amazing! Booked a last minute reservation for one, and was totally blown away by how delicious and well-balanced every dish was: packed with flavor and texture, beautifully presented, and just an all-around excellent meal. Extra kudos for the hospitality as well—with one dish I joked that I would have licked the remaining sauce off the plate if I could, so they brought me some bread to soak it up!

This is an extraordinary restaurant. They served a seven course gastronomic menu with each course being a surprise. The chef achieves a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine effortlessly. Each dish is finely tuned with the flavors and textures working perfectly together. It is a real treat which we enjoyed to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. Also, we could not get a table but ate the bar. The people we sat with agreed with us that the bar experience was terrific because we met other diners and we got to interact a great deal with the staff who are truly excellent. The made the dining experience quite special. We have eaten at fine gastronomic restaurants before but this is one of the few to which we would return.
