8 Great Foodie Cities With Michelin Dining & Hotels - AFAR

"Visiting Akira Back Paris — the chef's first European outpost — I enjoyed his signature style, including the wafer-thin tuna pizza topped with truffle oil that reflects his Nobu-trained, Aspen-raised background." - AFAR

"In the Prince de Galles hotel, this is the first European restaurant of American-Korean chef Akira Back. After a career as a professional snowboarder (he grew up in Aspen, home to the legendary ski resort), he turned his hand to cooking. He was recruited by Nobuyuki Matsuhisa and later became the executive chef at the renowned chef's restaurant. Diners are given the opportunity to taste this new take on Japanese cuisine, a real melting pot of cultures and flavours, including Back's speciality: AB Tuna Pizza. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on the sumptuous decor of this large modern restaurant with Art Deco light fixtures emitting subdued lighting, while the kitchen team busy themselves at the marble counter." - Michelin Inspector

I had a fantastic business dinner at this place and everything was amazing. 💯 I can’t even say how amazing was the food. The sushi, edamame and salmon grill were super tasty. I would recommend you to try the grilled salmon it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The staff were very helpful and attentive which just added to the great experience. I’ll definitely be back when I visit Paris again🤞🏻

If you’re looking for amazing sushi and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy it in, this place is a must-visit. One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ambience was just as impressive — calm, elegant, and inviting, with soft lighting and a relaxing vibe that made the whole experience even better. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

The Filet Tobanyaki was absolutely outstanding ,tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Beef Taco was also incredible, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. We also tried the Rock Shrimp, Lobster Tempura, and sushi rolls like Perfect Storm and Brother From Another Mother ,all delicious and definitely worth recommending. An amazing dining experience, but the Filet Tobanyaki and Beef Taco were truly unforgettable 🍽️✨

Amazing restaurant . Food was yummy . We loved the storm roll was awesome. The wagyu was fat but tender and tasty. The rice with vegetables so flavorful. Staff very pro , next level. We loved everything. Of course this is inside a Parisian palace hotel.

A dinner at the on-site restaurant - reservation is required. It is also open to non-hotel guests. During morning it serves breakfast for hotel guests. Everything is great from foods to services, just one little odd that the background musics doesn't seem to be in harmonic with the foods.

A really fancy Asian fusion restaurant that takes sushi to the next level 🍣. The presentation is stunning, every dish feels like a work of art, and the flavors are bold and creative🎨. You can tell there’s a lot of thought behind each plate. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth it if you’re looking for a unique and elevated sushi experience. 🪄 I’d recommend the Tacos or the Tuna Pizza, which are both excellent. Great cocktails too! 🍹

Absolutely amazing sushi, fried rice and wine suggestions. The staff was a bit slow and sometimes confused but nothing to be mad about! Absolutely go and visit Akria to treat yourself .)
