Where to Find Next-Level Hummus in Portland | Eater Portland

"Located in the historic Bishop’s House building, this elegant Lebanese mainstay opened in 1988. Its silken hummus, served alongside a basket of warm pita, is satisfying on its own or topped with lamb, beef, or chicken shawarma. It’s open in the evenings for curbside pickup and delivery from Wednesday through Saturday." - Michelle DeVona

We had the most outstanding food and service here tonight! Our party of 7 had an incredible dinner and we were treated like relatives! We ate family style and enjoyed absolutely everything! They accommodated three people with food allergies and brought generous portions with tons of leftovers. We especially enjoyed the appetizers, chicken, lamb, lemonade, and baklava! Highly recommend!!! Kindest owners ever!!!

Google
Great food until the bread arrives- Dry and tasteless. The baclava for dessert was dry and the pastry tastes like lard. However the lamb entree was great. My sister enjoyed the vegetarian appetizers and another liked the shrimp. Lovely owners! Get some bread from Kabob on Hawthorne! You can do better.

Came in on a slow weekday with my wife and the server brought us his favorites without us having to order. Great experience. Food was delicious. The shrimp was my favorite of the combo platter. Definitely try it!

We haven't been here since well before the pandemic and remember it as having amazing food, service, and atmosphere - it still does. I love stuffed grape leaves and these are some of the best I've had. The humus and lamb (bone in - always...) were outstanding. The service and atmosphere were welcoming and relaxed. I wish more restaurants had this level of service (reminded us of being in Europe). Al-Amir is definitely worth the trip downtown and should be on your shirt list of restaurants.

Google
The best Lebanese food in the Pacific NW. Great food and great service always. Mo is a great guy and he makes you feel home at his beautiful restaurant. The roasted lamb dish and the grape leaves are the best. I go to Portland specifically to eat there and then comeback to Seattle.

Google
Absolutely fantastic food and service. Lydia and Mo took care of our party of eight for my wife's birthday. They recommended the family style selection for our party. So many selections to choose from with the family style meal many different offerings, large portions and took home lots of goodies. Exceptional value, reasonably priced. something for everyone. So yummy. Parking was quick and easy for a Friday night. Everything was just perfect Thank you so much. Peter Lett

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place! Incredible food, honestly the best falafel I’ve ever had. We absolutely adore the service from Lydia as well, she makes you feel at home and welcomed. Wish I would have known about this place sooner! Perfect choice for a date night.

Google
Lydia was our server tonight and she took such great care of us, we felt like we were her own kids the way we were chatting it up tonight. She is so personable and fun. The food was spectacular! Nearly everything on this menu is actually gluten free and I was unafraid to eat 90% of this menu! Gorgeous restaurant and actually used to be a speakeasy within the area. Expand your pallet and give the Lebanese tour a chance, it’s a little bit of everything and really gives you the chance to taste it all. Really was the perfect meal for two to share and fills you up. Make sure to mention if you do have a gluten allergy as they can provide you with pita chips so you’re still included in having a dipping item for all the great sauces you will endure. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Our first visit here. The atmosphere and setting was AMAZING. Service was best ever. Food was great! One of our top picks for this genre of food!

Yelp
An incredibly welcoming restaurant where you feel like family. I have a lot of food sensitivities and they have so many incredible options that are gluten free! The food was delicious I especially loved the chicken and shrimp and their hummus is to die for. I love how warm everything feels inside. It feels like you're visiting family and getting a good meal every single time.

Yelp
Phenomenal. If I could rate it 10 stars I would. The over all experience felt like I was in the movie my "Big Fat Greek Wedding." Twice we've been here now and each time I feel like family. The food keeps coming out. Everything blows your mind it's so good. The shrimp, the chicken, the lamb. The sauce. Omg. Leaving so full tonight our stomachs hurt. I didn't even know I would like lamb. So flavorful. The owners are absolutely so wonderful. Mo is hilarious. The service is fast, and they truly care for every customer, and you can tell. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and lighthearted. Tonight's belly dancer was so fantastic. It's just a huge treat each time we visit. Drinks are heavy which is always a plus. New favorite spot. We will happily make the drive from Washington to here again. Thank you!!

Yelp
A Portland classic. Located in the Bishops House building it is rather unassuming from the exterior, but inside is a lovely space. The service is excellent and the food top notch. Of particular note is the baba ganoch and hummus.

Yelp
Al-Amir has become a tradition for us when we visit Portland. We love the food (I especially love the lamb shank) and the owners, who are incredibly warm and accommodating. Great place for group dining, but also for a party of 2.

Yelp
THE absolute best arabic breast, spinach pies, pizzas, and zaatar manakeesh you will ever try. This is a small business, but do not underestimate the quality, freshness, and overall taste of their baked good.

Yelp
Had the MOST amazing dining experience at El-Amir last night! Everything on the menu that we tried was incredible, from the baba ghanoush, fattoush, lamb, and desserts. Incredible!!! The owners, Lydia & Mo were welcoming, engaging, and made us feel like we were family, not clients. This was the BEST Lebanese food I've had in years and I will certainly make it a habit of coming here whenever I can. TEN stars!
google avatar

Yelp
A local brought us here. The food was amazing! Seldom would you think a vegetable dish would be a highlight but it was fabulous and flavorful. We sampled most dishes and every one was excellent. Try the Lebanese Margarita. The service was exceptional. We had a very large group and they still made us feel at home. Can't say enough good things about the experience.

Yelp
My husband, our roommate, and I went to Al Amir last weekend when we were in Portland on a day trip. I had eaten there several times years ago and loved it. We got to the restaurant and there was a sign on the door directing us to make reservations. On a whim, I decided to join the short queue in the lobby to see if they might have a seat, maybe a cancellation. It looked doubtful because the place was packed. They came to us and said they'd make a spot for us if we gave them some time. It didn't even take five minutes and we had a table right up front, which we loved because we got to see how people were greeted with hugs and warmth, smiles and remembrances. We ordered and our food arrived in minutes, hot and fresh and oh so tasty. We had the appetizer sampler platter, dolomatas, two of us had lamb shish kabobs, and one had the chicken shish kabob, all had baklava for dessert and two had coffee also. The lavender lemonade was AMAZING! Every bite was perfect from first to last and served with smiles and good laughter, and hearty genuine warmth from the hosts and all the staff we met. The experience was every bit as good for all three of us as any I remembered from the several occasions I had enjoyed Al Amir decades ago. I used to say this was the best restaurant in Portland. I stand behind that statement still.

Yelp
You know how Olive Garden used to say "When you're here, you're family?" If you really want to experience that, (and have better food than Olive Garden ) Al Amir is the place to be. We brought a group of 23 people and we're treated exceptionally well! The proprietor brought her family in to ensure that we had fast and efficient service. The food was served family style, and was delicious. The dolmas were home made and very nicely spiced. Lots of variety in entrees, and many good vegetarian options.

Yelp
Amazing food and even better service! Veggies are a meal in themselves! If you are in the area make sure you come here and support a family owned jem !

Yelp
Great food, cocktails & service! Speaking of cocktails, I definitely recommend the Lebanese Margarita! We've been going here for over 10 years. Not only is the food consistently excellent, Lydia and Moe treat all of their guests as family!

Yelp
If you love Lebanese food, Al-Amir is your place! The food is clearly made with love and they provide excellent service! Came with a group of 10 for a family style dinner. Portions were large and plentiful, more than enough to go around and then some! For starters, platters of creamy hummus topped with a pool of olive oil, baba ganoush (made from roasted eggplant), tabbouleh, dolmades and falafel were served along with fresh baskets of pita. This could easily have been the dinner! After a good sized sampling of each, I could have left completely satisfied! If I had to pick favorites, it would be the Baba ganoush, the smoky flavor of roasted eggplant purred into a texture similar to hummus, was divine. And the falafel was light and crisp. The pita was not what I expected, it just didn't have the chew homemade pita usually has. For the mains, huge platters chicken kabobs which they took off the skewers and plated Along with the onion and peppers, grilled lemony shrimp, roasted lamb, and a platter of roasted veggies topped with a yogurt sauce. The shrimp was definitely the star of the meal, cooked perfectly so that the taste of shrimp was not overpowered by the lemon. Enough on the platter for everyone to have a hefty portion and still several left over. When is there ever leftover shrimp? Usually lamb is my favorite and what I order at Lebanese and any Mediterranean style restaurant. The lamb was good, just not as flavorful as I expected. Needed more lemon. Chicken was delicious, it had been cooked on skewers along with onions and peppers giving it nice flavor. The veggies were good; I didn't think the yogurt sauce was needed. We were all stuffed and satisfied! As we were digesting, we enjoyed the belly dancer who is there on Friday nights and definitely adds to the atmosphere and experience. Several from our group were inspired to get up and join the dancing. For the record, I was not one of them! Baklava was served as the finishing touch, the honey, nut and filo (they use shredded filo), the perfect bite. Service was friendly and efficient. Was amazed that they were able to handle such a large group with ease and get everyone's drink orders correct. They even let us pay individually on a credit card, which many restaurants do not allow, preferring one or two credit cards max. Huge kudos for that nice touch!

Yelp
Haven't had Lebanese food before. This was fantastic!!! Tahini sauce on the KHUDAR roasted cauliflower...I couldn't stop eating this. It's a must go.

Yelp
A delightful and authentic Lebanese restaurant! I came for a birthday and I was so impressed with the food. Really the best hummus I've ever had. Waitstaff and everyone was great and attentive. I would definitely come back

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in Portland and that is saying a lot considering the selection we have to choose from. Every time I have been in, I feel like family and have enjoyed everything the have put in front of me. The first time I was there, the owner clearly saw that I was a novice with Lebanese food and came to our rescue. Moe quickly asked a few questions about what we liked and whisked our menu's off the table and headed to the back. In a state of bewilderment, I looked at my wife and asked her, "What did we just order?" She, being a more spontaneous person told me she didn't know and was excited to see what they came up with. Friends, I shouldn't have been worried at all. What showed up at our table was simply one of the top three meals I have ever eaten and considering that meal was 4 years ago, it has stood the test of time. If you ever get the chance to visit Al Amir, take it. Life is too short not to eat good food, from family restaurants that really care about their guests. More importantly, they treat you like family and share their passion for food.

Yelp
This place is interesting. We came in for dinner on a Friday night after seeing the great reviews. Started with an order of a few appetizers like hummus and falafel and batatas. Our food come out really fast. The hummus was ok, the falafel was really tasty and probably the best thing there. When the server brought out the batatas my cousin almost shrieked with surprise. Our French cut potatoes with salt was a plate of fries that were probably frozen at some point 10 minutes prior. I mean c'mon!!!! This was hilarious and cringe worthy all at once. Our potatoes at breakfast at the hotel had more seasoning and unique attributes than the plate of French fries they served us...

Yelp
Food arrived quickly (delivery), but was really sub-par, bordering on awful. Received a huge bag of bread, but it was glad a so stale I couldn't even finish 1piece. I ordered a salad, but the "garlic" dressing was just vinaigrette and wasn't able to beat the fact that it was largely just iceberg lettuce. I also ordered the hummus with chicken shawarma. There were 7 bites of chicken that tasted like grilled chicken. I did not detect any flavor of shawarma. They were on a large bed of hummus that was oddly sweet, slightly bitter, and otherwise rather bland. I had extremely high hopes for this place as I was recommended to go here by someone that said it was the best Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurant in Portland. This is so disappointing. I cannot even finish it it is so bad. I try really hard not to leave bad reviews, but this was bad enough that I don't even expect I will give them another chance.

Yelp
This is my second time at Al-Amir and I wanted to review the first time but I said let me make sure the second time is as good as the first. What we ordered from Al-Amir Baba ganoosh is something I always order and for me to know its fresh I can always taste the charcoal broiled flavor of the eggplant. The hummus was superb just the right amount of lemon garlic and tahini it was creamy too just how it should be. The kafta was grilled to perfection not dry at all and I ate so much of it. Khudar which is sauteed cauliflower, zucchini and carrots topped with tahini and garlic sauce it was phenomenal you must order this I never ate anything like this. We also got salads one tabouli and fatoosh both were wonderful. I been to many Lebanese restaurants and I must say this one really stands out from the rest. We will be back again and again. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is a true gentleman.

Yelp
I went with a group of 20 for a Christmas party and everything was amazing. My clients not only loved the food and drinks but also the experience. They were welcomed by Lidia who was warm and inviting and we had a big table all set and ready. My clients wanted to do a white elephant gift exchange and Lidia and her team moved at third pace. They didn't rush them at any point. We had amazing entertainment from Shay and everyone left feeling full and happy. I can't wait to take another group back there. Oh and the presentation of the food was awesome. It was all served family style and looked so pretty as it came out. They even went over every food item as they delivered it. The lamb was my most favorite of them all. So tender and with great flavor. Thank you so much to the entire team there for making the experience so amazing and fun. If you are looking for a new experience this is for sure a great place. They treat you like the best kind of family.

Yelp
I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and it's hospitable owners. I was on a "girls trip" with my bestie and the Manager (Michael) of the Hi-Lo Hotel HIGHLY recommend making Al-Amir our 1st stop. So glad we listened! Michael introduced us to the owner (Moe) and told him to take care of us. Boy, did he ever! We didn't even order as it was our first time having Lebanese food and had no clue. Moe asked if we had meat preferences and then proceeded to bring us dish, after dish, after dish to try. Everything was delicious. Service was amazing. Even though it was quite busy and there were only two of them serving, they managed to keep up on food and drinks (which we NEVER went without-lol). The belly dancer was a wonderfully entertaining touch. We never once felt hurried. In fact, by the end of the evening (4 hours later) Moe had made us feel like we were part of the family. We are so grateful Michael recommended this restaurant as it ended up being the highlight of our 3 night trip.

Yelp
Great homey atmosphere & friendly gracious service. We'd been here once before when we were in Portland & had to go back. We were not disappointed. Had a lovely evening, great food & welcoming atmosphere. There were 3 birthdays that evening at 3 different tables and it made the evening even more festive. Best hummus I've ever had. Grape leaves were delightful. Lamb shank tender. Baklava was delicious.

Yelp
In town for the ballet Napoli, we chose Al Amir based on the recommendation of one of the solo ballerinas and we were not disappointed! I ordered a Lebanese Lemonade made with rose water perhaps? I was a very transportive drink that had me sitting in the summer sun somewhere in the Middle East. I ordered the sample appetizer plate with a rolled grape leaf, a generous dollop of both baba ganoush and a very smooth and creamy hummus. The falafel was absolutely delicious and I'm not normally a fan because they can be dry and bland. The tabbouleh was also very flavorful and the side order of tzatziki was also quite good. The surprise for me was a delightful baklava ordered by our host. It was a sweet and homey rugelach type treat that was the perfect ending for a very satisfying meal. My friend ordered basically the same meal but in an entree size with a lamb kabob and she too enjoyed her meal. We arrived via Lyft just as they were opening and there were just a few other diners which suited us perfectly. By the end of our meal almost all of the tables were filled and the diners were a bit loud so if you're looking for a quiet dinner go on the early side.

Maya M.

Yelp
We came in hungry and left hungry because the food was bad. The place is freezing cold so bundle up!! Food was not authentic in flavor and took very long to come out. I love Mediterranean food and was excited about the food until I took a bite. Totally bland and leaves you unsatisfied.

JR H.

Yelp
They took such good care of us. Great vegan options which they were very helpful with pointing out to us. Baklava (also vegan!!) was amazing -- complex flavor and not that kind of overwhelming sweetness that I've had in other places. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have finally experienced Al-Amir Restaurant in a sober condition. This is mostly because it was lunch time. Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with day drinking, and Al-Amir would be a fine place to do so. For the past 5 years or so this place was my go-to weekend party spot on Friday and Saturday nights. I have also been there for birthdays, etc. so have actually had dinner there which is great. It is an excellent venue for a large birthday party if you happen to be in the market for a birthday venue for large groups. It would also make a great date destination as the ambience is dim, and the historic building is enchanting and the music is sexy. Lunch the other day was interesting and more importantly it was delicious. Interesting because there was no loud Arabic house music blaring, nobody was dancing on the bar or in the aisles, no belly-dancer sashaying around, rather it was just a few other folks lunching and us with lovely and quiet Arabic music. I am gaga for the Baba and the hummus, it's as if it were prepared by Angels, it is so perfectly seasoned and oh, so, smooth. Service as always was excellent. I will always be a devout fan of Al-Amir and in case you were wondering, no, I did not dance on the bar. 2016 - Review #1

Yelp
To be fair, we had our order delivered so it may not reflect the in-restaurant experience. We were sadly disappointed with the food we got from here. The Shish Tawook was dry and didn't have a good flavor at all. The chicken quality was marginal (gristle/fat). Their hummus was ok, but I've had better from the grocery store. Even the Baklawa lacked flavor and was soggy. After having heard good reviews, we were not impressed at all. I hope the in-restaurant experience is better but given the quality of food that we god, I doubt I'll go there to try it.

Yelp
We had an amazing private Christmas party that was made perfect by the incredible hospitality and delicious abundant food that was served. The dessert assortment was outstanding. Highly recommend Al Amir for your next event or special evening out.

Yelp
This was probably the best restaurant experience I have ever had. We all know good service but Mo the owner of Al-Amir takes it to another level. He treats you like he's known you forever and he wants you to be there. From the moment we walked in and he greated us by name (we had reservations but hadn't told him our name) to the last goodbye. He understands the concept of treating his customers the way he would want to be treated . I could go on and on about the service but it would be better for you to experience it for yourself ! It might sound like I am a friend of his and I'm making this up just to give him a good review. Not So! Never met him or any of his staff before! The food was super amazing as well. We have had Middle Eastern food before but our friends had not , we all loved it! Every dish was delicious and fresh! It was truly like we were invited guests to his home and had cooked all day for us! Whether for the service or the food, try Al-Amir and you will not be disappointed! And I didn't even mention the belly dancer... lol!

Yelp
Nice shop with excellent food and fast service. Mediterranean faire is my favorite and they make it here delicious and fast. They have really flexible hours. I stopped by on a Sunday, ordered my delicious shwarma, and they had it ready for me in less than 5 minutes. I look forward to visiting them again soon

Yelp
We took some out of town friends here for a great dinner. The ambiance is pretty good, it's an older building that's somewhat charming. Service was a bit slow at the start but got better as the evening progressed, I think it was probably because they had two large parties when we arrived. We started with some very nice wine and then we were convinced by the gentleman who was waiting on us to try the family style meal. Our appetizers started coming out: the hummus was light and very flavorful, one of the best I've had in Portland. I usually don't care for baba ganoush, but this rendition was quite tasty! I'm also usually picky about the stuffed grape leaves but the Al Amir version is terrific. Our entrees included roast veggies in a yummy garlic sauce, very nice roasted lamb and a platter of veggies with chicken, steak and shrimp kabobs. Everything was good, but the steak was the standout, really super flavorful! One thing I really appreciated was that they brought plenty of naan bread to accompany everything, some places get really cheap with that. At the end of our meal, they brought each of us a small piece of baklava. I usually find baklava to be way too sweet, but this was more like a buttery pastry with just a bit of sweetness, perfection! If you're looking for a mix of downtown and Middle Eastern food, hit this place up!

Paris K.

Yelp
Best meal we have had in a very long time!! Everything about this place is amazing - the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks, and the food!!! I have a lot of allergies and they took every pro caution to ensure I did not get sick and my food was delicious!! So many amazing dishes to choose from! Highly recommend going here for every occasion!

Yelp
I love good Middle Eastern food. Once in a while I'll even cook Middle Eastern foods. I ordered the appetizer sampler with the lentil soup (Shorba) as a starter. The lentil soup was a tomato base and was bland. I've had instant oatmeal that had more flavor. A few dashes of salt helped it but did not rescue this soup. Hummus was average. The baba ghannooj was the highlight of what I ate. Smoky and yummy. Tabooli was little more than chopped parsley with a little chopped tomato. Granted, I am NOT a big fan of tabooli and this did not change my mind. My single stuffed grape leaf was soft and mushy. Anyone serving Middle Eastern food would have considered this a disgrace. The falafel was about the size of a very small golf ball and was dry and hard. Let's talk about bread. They brought our table of four, 6 halves of flat bread. It was chewy, definitely not freshly baked in the restaurant and I could have bought the same thing at any grocery store. Again anyone serving Middle Eastern food should be ashamed of themselves. Service never came by to offer more of this supermarket flat bread. One of our party had the vegetarian eggplant dish, Batinjan. The complaint was that the eggplant had not been cut consistently the same thickness and so when it was cooked some of it was mushy and some was not quite done and chewy. The lamb dish, ala carte, Kharouf Mohammar was apparently very good. Either we were there on an off night when pretty much everything was off, a Sunday at 6 p.m., or this is just not a place to ever go back to. And ironically they gave us two $5 off gift certificates for our next visit.

Yelp
Al-Amir is our family's most favored celebration destination. We have been coming here for years and will continue the tradition far into the future because Lydia and Mo make you feel like family. Food is always spectacular. There is not a single thing on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. The hummus is just on another level and you simply cannot pass up ordering the Kafta Arayes and the Khudar! Bring your loved ones, enjoy a family style meal at Al-Amir, I promise you, you won't be sorry! Lydia and Mo make the experience extraordinary each and every time.

Yelp
My partner and I went to Al-Amir recently, and it was the first time in a long time. My parents started taking me there when I was a kid and now I've gone several times as an adult, but living out of town, it's not easy to get back. I had one night in Portland and despite the restaurant being quite busy, the owners graciously took us in and served us a delicious meal. The hummus and baba ghannooj are outstanding, and the baklawa is divine. The owners made us feel incredibly welcome and we are so appreciative of their service. We can't wait to be back!

Yelp
After a dinner date at a favorite steakhouse with my peeps fell through because we forgot to secure a reservation, we wound up at Al-Amir. Let me stipulate that I am not so much a fan of Lebanese food as I am my peeps. I found the atmosphere to be subdued (possibly more due to our early evening entry than by design) and decorated as one might expect a restaurant serving Mediterranean food to be. It was pleasant. The appetizer was pita bread, hummus, and cucumber dip. I only tried a small piece of the bread with some cucumber dip. I was told the hummus was good but I don't care for it so didn't try it. Since I am not too familiar with Lebanese food I can't comment on the menu. I can tell you that of the four of us, three had Moe's Special and we all liked it. It was tasty and serving sizes were adequate for all. Everyone had dessert - two of us the Knafé, one the Baklawa, and I tried the Mohallabiyé. They were all also very good. Our server was prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. If I were looking for Lebanese food in an upscale restaurant, I'd go back. Although I am admittedly unfamiliar, I can safely recommend Al-Amir to anyone that really enjoys this kind of food.

Yelp
Fantastic food and great service! My wife has celiac and the staff catered to that very well. We will be back for sure, love this place!

Yelp
I wavered between four and three stars on this review because some things about this place were really good. The baklava is amazing -- the best I've ever had and worth a visit just to try it. The coffee, likewise, was top notch. I don't drink black coffee and I regretted putting sugar in it just because it was so heavenly that I wanted a clearer taste of it. The falafel, I would probably try a second time. The grape leaves are also a really good appetizer. Try these if you visit. That said, I ordered a three course meal (option one) to get a good sampling because I'm not overly familiar with Lebanese food. Nothing I ate was bad per say, but some of it was a bit lackluster for the price. Over all, there was a lot of food, so I wouldn't tell anyone to steer clear, and maybe it's my American taste buds, but most of the food was just kinda alright and this place seems to push itself as a fancy date night restaurant. Hummus, tabouli, and baba ghanooj: not bad. The various meats that came with my rice (chicken, ground beef, and shrimp): also tasty. I was pretty full by the end of it, but I've also had a lot of amazing food in Portland and this didn't quite meet that high water mark. Still worth a try and I'll probably visit again, just for another bite of that baklava. Overall, what's good is really good, but mostly it's a little underwhelming.

Yelp
Love this place we visit once a year with family. Lebanese margaritas and food are amazing. The lamb sandwiches and hummus they bring you for appetizers are my favorite. Also enjoyed the music and watching the belly dancers.

Yelp
Al-Amir was the first stop for us after checking-in to our hotel in Portland. And it was amazing on all levels. My husband dined here few years back and was set on coming back so we did. The service was super friendly and generous! We had vegetarian grape leaves, tabouli and fattoush salads, crispy French fries, grilled chicken with garlic and the very yummy cabbage rolls! And everything was perfect. We finished with kenefe dessert and Al-Amir's famous Spanish coffee! (To die for)! Definitely coming back.

Yelp
This restaurant is Portland's gem!! I always bring friends and family from out of town here. I had the pleasure of bringing some friends from Minneapolis here and Mo and his staff treated my friends and I like family. My friends were blown away with the experience and we have decided to make it a tradition to go there together every year when they are in town. I also had posted some of our evening on my Instagram story and had another friend respond to my story with only amazing things to say about the place too. I'll include a screen shot of our conversation. I want the staff to know how much they appreciated and their hard work does not go un-noticed... Great job to all of you. I look forward to coming here in the decades to

Yelp
One of our favourite restaurants in all of Portland. The service is amazing. The food is exceptional. This is another family share restaurant for us. We order tons of different dishes just to make sure we have leftovers. Which never last more than a day.

Yelp
No matter why the situation, rudeness is never necessary and should never be tolerated, period...
