Delicious. Im a vegetarian and im used to basically having one choice: falafel. I had the eggplant wrap. Mama it’s so GOOOD. Has more bite to in than I’m used to, but not a bad thing at all! I didn’t realize they had other vegetarian options like shawarma and gyro, I’ll definitely try those next! Unassuming vibe in the restaurant, but worth the visit, and the price!

Google
10/10!! I was out on a food date with my love when we ran into this place. The food was so delicious that I ate it on a full stomach. The pictures I took do this place no justice at all. There was a little wait, but it was definitely worth it.

We had a chicken tawooq over rice and a chicken shwarma. We loved both of these. We will definitely come back to taste the other food from this restaurant. Chicken tawooq over rice came with chicken kebabs (tawooq), rice, hummus, one pita bread, and cucumber, tomato salad. The rice went so well with the chicken kebabs. A bite of chicken kebab and a spoon of rice together in your mouth will just give you the best taste. Hummus and pita were OK, just like every Mediterranean restaurant, nothing so special. Chicken shwarma was good as well. The sauce was well mixed with the pieces of chicken. Chicken bites were very soft. Personally I would suggest them to reduce the amount of salt in the mix that goes as a stuffing to the shwarma. But that’s just a personal preference. Overall the experience was good. I rated service 4/5 as I felt like they were not very interactive. They didn’t ask for if we needed any high chair as we went with the baby. So I assumed everything other than the food is self served. Rated atmosphere 4/5 because the table wasn’t very clean so we had to switch tables. As the food was good I would probably revisit the restaurant to try out other items.

Google
Sure! Here's a more humanized version of your review: --- The food here is incredible—so tasty, and you can really tell the care that goes into it. The portion sizes are just perfect; you'll likely be too full to finish your plate! The hummus and sauces are absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had—so rich and flavorful! --- Let me know if you'd like any other tweaks!

Google
The hummus here is amazing! I love it. This place has plenty of vegan options! I ordered the hummus, tabbouleh and lentil soup. It was amazing. I’d recommend this place as a quick bite!

Google
I picked up something to go take back to the motel. This was my first time there and ordering. The food is awesome and great tasting. The young man at the counter is courteous and knows his business. Watching the food being prepared was amazing. Very nice and friendly people. I will go back again and try something different when I'm back in the Austin area.

Google
recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I have to say — both the food and the service exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they checked in just the right amount throughout our meal.

Google
Falafel is crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on inside. Beef tenderloin was a bit dry for my taste, but the chicken was very moist and flavorful. The Greek salad and dressing was yummy too! Hummus had good flavor and was very smooth. Pita was soft and on the finger side, but good! Baklava is a good dessert to top off the meal.

Yelp
You have to sit down here and eat the food fresh. Some of the best chicken shawarma I have ever had. Great garlic toum (sauce). Dolmas and hummus were solid. You could skip the cheese rolls. The service was good, and the place is homey. Restrooms are not the most inviting or clean. But that chicken shawarma- chef's kiss.

Yelp
The food was absolutely great! The problem happened when my husband saw the cook in the dining area and he was fixing his shoes and returned to the kitchen to cook without washing his hands. He only put on one glove and proceeded to prepare the bread with the other hand that had no glove. So that immediately changed our rating of the establishment. We were finishing up our food when my husband saw it.

Yelp
Awesome vegetarian options and great tasting food! I've had my share of unappealing Medi-Arab food in RR and surrounding area but this place hits it out of the park. Crispy falafel seems like a foreign concept for restaurants here but Aladdin does it right. Babaganoush tastes like it should with subtle smoky flavor, tabouleh is the best I've ever had that I didn't make myself, the rice is fluffy and super tasty - but the jalapeño ranch sauce is the winner! I can put it on cardboard and eat it! My only peeve is the store bought pita but I get it that it's easier than making fresh. BUT if they ever did make in house, this place would be a force!!!! The place is big, looks clean, takeout order was ready in ten minutes or so, and prices were reasonable. Can't speak to animal proteins or dining in but enough reviews cover that. My new "go to" eatery. Yum!

Yelp
Generous servings made fresh to order. Price is very competitive considering that more than likely you will not be able to finish your meal and can make it a 2nd meal for later. Pita bread was not really warm even when wrapped it foil, tasted more like a tortilla, but the salad, cucumbers and tomatoes, was delicious. That was my favorite part of my meal along with the gyro.
google avatar

sheri g.

Yelp
The meat was dried out and tough. The tabbouleh isn't like any tabbouleh I've ever had. More like a cucumber salad. I wait 22 minutes for my take out. I know I came early but they served 3 people who came in off the street before they started my order. The place has as much atmosphere as Subway. I sure wish Round Rock had a Mediterranean restaurant that served grilled tomatoes and peppers.

Yelp
My first experience with Aladdin Halal Grill was yesterday's delivery (thank you, Lunch Drop!). Not too many vegetarian options (which makes sense for a halal restaurant). However, this was an amazing meal: more food than I could eat (!), best grape leaf ever, fabulous baba ganoush (I could tell the difference between it and the hummus!) and an entire delightful pita. I'm not quite to the point of adding this to my "Must Order" rotation, but close. Next step a visit in real life.

Yelp
Overfilling on rice for a combo plate for 2 meats...the meat is bland without the sauce
google avatar

Jameela P.

Yelp
This has to be one the better Mediterranean restaurant in Round Rock and surrounding areas. Try the chicken tawook, juicy chicken pieces with a side of veggie mix and hummus on a bed of yellow rice. The service is fast and the food is fresh.

Yelp
Okay so I got the chicken shawarma wrap for a quick lunch, and I have to say it definitely hit the spot! More so because I was starving, but it was thoroughly satisfying to my tastebuds for sure I will say I ordered it spicy, but perhaps they looked upon me and thought they'd do me a favor by "mildly" spicin it up. Anyway...the chicken was flavorful and not at all dried out. The veggies were the most impressive! They were fresh and the lettuce had that gratifying crunch to it, you know the kind that causes you to exhale like it's been a minute; the kind where you sit there fully content and relaxed??? Yep that's the one Now the big question...is this better than halal bros??? Absolutely not! However, it is good enough to satisfy that shawarma craving when you need it and not willing to drive into Austin
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely adore this place! First proper taste of Mediterranean I've had since moving from SoCal! (Yes we're spoiled there so you know this place is LEGIT) The rice is perfect, gyro is great and flavorful, hummus and baba ganoush are excellent, and the dishes delivered look exactly like the photos online. How often do you get that?? And then it tastes good and fresh?? Yeah. Fabulous. Treat yourself to something other than the usual sandwich or noodles and let this place fulfill (and create) cravings you didn't even know you had. But be careful, you might create an addiction. I def do not go weekly or more lol

Yelp
Came here for the first time today, was phenomenal food, haven't found a great Mediterranean spot in Round Rock until now! It is very authentic and as they say, Mediterranean is the healthiest food in the world. Highly recommend. Check out Dolma, and Hummjs for sure.

Yelp
Wow! I stopped here today looking for Mediterranean food and I had an amazing blast of flavor from the Middle East. I had the lamb gyro "spicy" and it was authentic and delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly and personable. A true treat of a restaurant to find in Texas!
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
Food is fresh and seasoned well but without being salty. It was very good and reasonably priced. Of all the Halal and Mediterranean places I tried in Austin, CP, RR, and the surrounding area, this is the best in terms of flavor and value. This will be my go-to place from now on.

Yelp
Aladdin Halal Grill - A Flavorful Journey with Room for Improvement Aladdin Halal Grill has consistently delivered delicious and authentic Mediterranean fare, making it a go-to spot for my family and me over the past couple of years. The food, undoubtedly, is a highlight. The grape leaves are a tasty treat, and the Lamb Kebab plate is a flavorful delight. The rice and hummus contribute to a satisfying dining experience, and the freshness of their salads adds a crisp touch. While the food is a standout, it's worth noting that the service could use improvement. The wait for the food is a bit extended, and the staff at the cashiers could benefit from better menu knowledge. Despite these areas for enhancement, the overall experience remains positive. The restaurant maintains a clean environment, although there's room for improvement. Aladdin Halal Grill is family-friendly, catering to all ages. It's a place where authenticity shines through the flavors, creating a welcoming atmosphere. For those seeking genuine Mediterranean cuisine, Aladdin Halal Grill is a reliable choice, and my family and I will continue to enjoy its good food, hopeful for improvements in service and cleanliness.

Yelp
I was having a bad day until I ordered myself lunch as a treat. Close, fast, and so, so delicious. Bismillah!
google avatar

Steve K.

Yelp
We both had Gyros, falafel and fries. Food was solid, enjoyed it all. Will be back

Debi H.

Yelp
So yummy!! The chicken tawook plate was perfectly cooked and I could eat the hummus and naan all day. This place is a little gem!
google avatar

Yelp
Really love this place when I go into the restaurant. Got it for delivery and didn't get the sauce or the flatbread. Go in person since the experience was disappointing without their sauces and flatbread.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Ordered the jalapeño ranch platter which comes with the hot (red) sauce. We also ordered a combo over rice to try the beef and kafta. Typical of Mediterranean food you get protein and a salad. Everything was fresh and good. Filling for sure! If you want another red sauce they will charge for another so be prepared. The sauces were good and tasty. If you want some tasty food that is filling this is your spot.

Sandra M.

Yelp
My husband second time ordering the swarma and kebobs. The taste and quality is phenomenal. And the owners are very generous with portion sizes to go. Reminds of a place in NYC when we lived there.
google avatar

Anusha R.

Yelp
Really good Mediterranean food in Austin. I'm not sure why this place isn't as popular as some of the others but they have really good food. The jalapeño ranch chicken plate is SO good. I loved everything I got actually. The lentil soup was sooo soothing. The best part about their plates is the flavour in the saffron rice. I also loved the grape leaves and falafel. I've found a new place for my Mediterranean cravings for sure. Wish it wasn't so far in round rock though :P the service is excellent and the staff is really kind. Very casual dining experience.
google avatar

Josh P.

Yelp
We've had Aladdin a few times now as my fiance Kim lives it. She normally gets the gyro meat plate with rice and hummus and I've gotten the chicken Sharma pita and the cheesesteak pita. Everything is delicious but if you are very hungry and getting either pita , definitely get a side too.
google avatar

Britney R.

Yelp
I love this place! We usually order for delivery, but I ate in the restaurant today for the first time. They have a nice dining area with table and booth options. The chicken shawarma and falafel with garlic sauce is delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful by recommending dishes for my first time guests. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you've never been.
google avatar

Janice R.

Yelp
Great food, good selection. Love that it has Vegan options. Will definitely go again when I'm in that area.
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
The falafel plate with zucchini or eggplant is off the charts! Be sure to get the jalapeño garlic sauce (might not be the actual name ! Soooo gooodddd!
google avatar

Madhavi B.

Yelp
Only order take out so not sure about the ambiance and service in the restaurant. I always order their chicken shawarma al Arabi , falafels , zinger wrap, shawarma meat and rice combo plate. The food has flavor, is always fresh. The hummus could use some flavor though. I always ask for hot sauce when ordering and they never give me one. All in all good food, nothing amazing but not bad either.
google avatar

Charles M.

Yelp
The food is good. The noon service is slow so call ahead if you want to do take out. I would not be in a hurry, but if you want good, tasty food, this is the place to eat!
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch, and what a great find! We ordered the Combo over rice with chicken and gyro and the drizzled platter with falafel. The chicken and gyro were both super tender and the rice was flavorful. The salad was refreshing, and the pita with hummus were very good. I also couldn't get enough of the sauce. Over on the drizzled platter, the falafel was perfectly crispy. Service was great and quantity and quality were both excellent.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Tasty food. Nice service. We have gotten the gyro plate, drizzled platter and zucchini. All is delicious, especially the rice.
google avatar

Araceli G.

Yelp
The food was so good! The atmosphere felt very laid back and the service was welcoming. I'll definitely be going back.

Katie B.

Yelp
Food here is great. I got the chicken tawook and it came with salad, hummus, pita, and rice, all very good. The staff is all super kind and the service is great. I also love the music that they play. Definitely would recommend.
google avatar

Laurie W.

Yelp
Wow. So, this is what shawarma is supposed to be. I haven't had shawarma and rice this good since leaving the Caribbean. If you've been to Halal Bros, it's similar but this is just a little better!

Carlen G.

Yelp
The food is wonderful. I had a gyro and middle eastern rice! It was so good. The tzatziki sauce was just perfect. This is one of the best gyros I've ever had.

Melissa Z.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Round Rock! I love it for lunch and dinner. I have ordered 2 different plates. Today I ordered the Chicken Tawook plate and it was amazing. The chicken was cooked just right and flavorful. The salad always fresh and the pita as well. It was still warm when arrived as well. And I always enjoy their tziti and garlic sauce.
google avatar

Spritti B.

Yelp
some of the best middle eastern food you can get for these prices... and fab customer service. Nice staff. -delicious rice, shawarma, falafel, hummus, salad, sauces, and more- baklava was good, but wish it had butter and not lard.... still, it was too good to resist! (tasted homemade made) Will be back!!!
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! We ordered the beef shawarma with rice and the kafta with rice. Both were phenomenal, probably the best I have ever had. Definitely the best in the Austin area! The service was very polite and friendly too.
google avatar

Nick K.

Yelp
We visited for take-out, and order two platters - Chicken and Lamb. Both meals were tasty . My daughter was very complementary of the chicken platter dish.
google avatar

Kunhee K.

Yelp
Great food, good prices, and generous portions! Had the combo meat platter with gyro and beef loved it and will be back again.
google avatar

Teresa B.

Yelp
I ordered some carry out meals through the Door Dash app and was excited to try this place. Upon entering the restaurant to pick up my order I was greeted with a smile and my order was waiting on me. It smelled amazing in there and I liked having the ability to see into the kitchen area. We ordered the Chicken Tawook plate, a Beef Tenderloin plate and an extra order of pita and hummus. The Food: Chicken Tawook - amazing flavor, just wish there was more!! (I got only 6 medium pieces of chicken) Beef Tenderloin- a little (just slightly) dry but definitely packing some flavor...again I wish there was more (only 6 medium pieces) Extra Hummus - for the $5 extra I expected more than 1 pita to come with it. The hummus is also heavy hollowed in the middle. Overall I feel great about my choice of grabbing dinner here. I do hope they start putting more protein in the meals and I am looking forward to eating there again.

David J.

Yelp
Delicious! Best Greek fare. It's not your fancy place, paper and plastic, but the flavor made up for it. The owners are attentive and present and have remained consistent since day one.
google avatar

Meghan S.

Yelp
Delicious, well seasoned food. All the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the eggplant dip was tangy, smoky perfection. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner.
google avatar

JaMilla A.

Yelp
Very tasty. The spicy one wasn't spicy at all so a little disappointed but very tasty still. We will definitely go back
google avatar

Zach Z.

Yelp
The smells alone were worth making the trip. Food was top notch especially the falafel. So very very good! Service was even better and tables were clean. I will definitely be back
google avatar

Kevin J.

Yelp
NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Read a bunch of the reviews listed on Yelp. Figured I'd give this place a try based on everyone else's recommendation. I was mistaken food was not even average, it lacked flavor, it lacked spice. Nothing out of my whole dinner stood out. I didn't even have tea they only had fountain drinks available. Had to go to a different table just to get catch-up to add some flavor to my meal. Overall was very disappointing compared to the reviews that I had read.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
While shopping at Randall's, I searched for the closest Mediterranean restaurant in the area, and Aladdin Halal Grill popped up and it was a hundred yards away. I then walked into the restaurant, ordered a combo over rice, and drove home to eat my meal. The lamb was flavorful along with the chicken, and the rice was equally as flavorful. I am pleased to have good halal food nearby and am looking forward to try other offerings!
google avatar

Rodolfo P.

Yelp
Food is great I did the Philly and fries and ate there and took home chicken and rice. The plate was delicious with cucumber salad and hummus and bread very tasty. I definitely recommend. Service was on point and great decor.
google avatar

Marla H.

Yelp
EXCELLENT!! 5 stars all the way! We have tried Mediterranean food at many places in Round Rock, Georgetown, and Austin. Aladdin Halal Grill is by far my favorite. Tonight was actually our first night to try it. The owners are super sweet. The Chicken Shawarma is perfect. So moist and flavorful. The rice is done perfect and love the consistency of the tzatziki sauce. We will definitely return!
google avatar

Arunkumar R.

Yelp
Food is great and delicious. Jalapeño ranch drizzled rice is best which I had from Austin

Shelley C.

Yelp
We visited on a Wednesday night and they were not busy. I had the Shawarma chicken. My husband had the Shawarma beef and kafta kabob. We were both very pleased with our meals. There is more than enough food for each person. It was very well seasoned. The pita was fresh. We enjoyed the whole experience.
google avatar

Brittany L.

Yelp
Just stopped by here once and have gone back two times since. Their portions are generous for the price. My husband loves the combo with gyro and Kafka. I love the chicken shawarma wrap. You can order wraps spicy if you'd like. I highly recommend you check them out.
