See the video. I found a penny in my salad. I had already eaten part of it before noticing the coin, and had a copper taste in my mouth all night. I woke up nauseous. The employee who served me is visible in the video. The metal bowl he scooped the spinach from was almost empty, so he should have seen or heard the penny. Either way, it should not have been there.
When I brought it up, he implied I was lying and gave me a hostile stare like he wanted to fight me. Completely unacceptable behavior. Your staff needs to take responsibility for serving contaminated food.
I had no reason to put a penny in my own salad. I was hungry and came here for a healthy meal, as I’ve done many times before. But after this, you’ve lost a repeat customer.
And to make it worse, on December 30, 2024, I literally stopped an arsonist from burning down your building. I told the employee about this before eating, and he just laughed at me. When the fire happened, I ran into this restaurant to alert staff, and they just stared at me and did nothing. I had to take action myself and got HFD to the scene.
To be treated like this, after protecting your business and then eating food with a coin in it, is beyond disrespectful. You should be ashamed of how this was handled.
I was sick for 3 days! If I didn’t take a bunch of probiotics, drink filtered water, and rest, it would have been longer.
What a terrible experience! 😡
