A producers-only, year-round Sunday market noted by San Antonio Express-News for approachable variety — Hill Country produce, ferments, dog treats, and live music — all run by local organizers who keep the focus on Texas growers and small-batch vendors.
Such a great market. great tacos, baked good & music. Loved the variety of vendors.

Don’t get too caught up in the desire to support your local business like I did. Be sure to ask pricing for each item at Mazi Bakery, a few loaves of bread and baklava ran me $90 (there were two separate companies with their items mixed together in one stand and so had to charge me two separate times). It’s always been worth it in my opinion to pay a little extra in the name community support but I also expect somewhat fair pricing. My fault for not asking about each individual item or asking for the separate totals when it wasn’t offered (the other vendors are always transparent and provide pricing and totals) but I’ll be more selective and vigilant from now on.

This Review is for HIGH STREET CHOCOLATE. Incredibly rude service, could not be bothered with questions about her products because in her words "she doesn't have all day". The farmers market is probably very nice but unfortunately our first stop was High Street Chocolate and the lady working made us feel incredibly un-welcome and left us with a very poor impression of the farmers market. The individuals in front of us were also treated very rudely, and they also quickly left. In the span of 10minutes this individual caused 7 people to leave the farmers market just because of her rude attitude. She constantly complained about the live music and how it was too loud. I suggest the organizers of this market evaluate this individual because she is hindering business and causing potential customers to leave and shop elsewhere. There is no excuse to treat people so poorly, it is natural for people to ask question regarding the products being sold especially at a farmers market, if she can't handle questions she should leave, the only thing she is accomplishing by being their is ruining people's day.

Free parking, great restaurants, vendors, and quite simply....a very happy vibe.
Bring your family, dogs, and a smile.
This is San Antonio's best 5 star Farmers Market

Nice small market. Plenty of parking considering they are located in the shopping center parking lot. Every booth is very different, but also very limited. There were maybe about 10 tents when we went last weekend. Right in front of whole foods though.

Although it is smaller than it used to be, the quality of the vendors' products is extremely high. There is a good mixture of fresh produce and prepared foods. My favorites are the woman who makes handmade dark chocolate bars( infused with real fruit flavors), the Brazilian food booth, the Chinese booth that sells freshly made appetizers( the pot stickers are amazing) and the handmade Mexican Aguas frescas. There is also a vendor that sells dog treats. There is live music also.

Would appreciate more choice in vegetable vendors—the single one out there in late May also openly displayed political support for a particular Presidential candidate that I despise, and I don’t want my money directly or indirectly supporting either of them.

Yelp
It is small but has a good variety of vendors. Vegetables, beef, BBQ rubs and sauces, hot sauce and enchilada sauces, teas, bakeries, skin products, candles, honey and more.
I walked while I waited for the lunchtime restaurants to open. The people were nice and helpful.

Yelp
My husband and I recently moved to this side of town and were really excited to check out our new neighborhood farmers market. Alamo Heights Farmers Market is conveniently located in The Quarry parking lot near Gold's Gym. This farmers market is not as big as other ones in the city but it has a lot of good options; plants, grass-fed beef, honey, aguas frescas, organic health products and much more!
The best find during our first visit here was a Brazilian baker which was selling delicious brazilian baked goods. We decided to order two of his savory options; Pao de Queijo and Coxinha. The Pao de Queijo was so soft and delicious. The Coxinha was filled with shredded chicken and cheese, which made it the perfect breakfast bite.
We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I really enjoy the variety of fresh produce here. I'm always looking to eat local and organic. This market has everything from fresh squashes, strawberries, gourmet mushrooms, pears, and so so much more.
