The cocktails are exceptional, featuring in-house syrups and mixers. Their tequila selection is 100% organic and additive-free—a must-try for any enthusiast! amazing spot for small bites and the best cocktails. cute and cozy with excellent vibes and design. plus they only serve additive free tequilas which is a plus for my group have been here multiple times since I recommend the oysters for a small bite and the Maracuya cocktail which was a blend of dates, fig, and something else floral... 10/10. Alana is a terrific, recently opened tapas restaurant and bar with a warm, contemporary atmosphere. It is managed and operated by the son of the owner of Las Casuelas next door and named in her honor. The handsome dining room includes works of contemporary sculpture, design, and photography. Dining is available at the bar and at tables. The lists of drinks include six original signature and six classic cocktails. To begin your meal, there are choices of a charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, olives, and more; a carne apache board with beef tartare, nopales, avocado, dried chiles, and roasted garlic; and a bibb lettuce salad with fruits, including red cara cara oranges, mangoes, cheese, and guava vinaigrette, all of which our table enjoyed. The tapas cover the entire range: grilled barbacoa beef, chicken with mild chipoltle peppers, grilled shrimp, and a vegan vegetale option with mole. Friends in my dinner party are still talking about our meal. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Wow! Great evening at new bar & tapas spot, Alana. Killer cocktails- all with additive-free spirits and with house-made syrups. Great tacos, charcuterie, seafood and more. This place is a taste of the latest bars in Mexico, from a family that has defined Mexican cuisine in the Valley. Gracias Alana y su familia! You opened your home to us once again! Cocktails: We had the Palo Fig with mezcal and house-made fig soda, the Tomatini with gin and green tomatillo, the Oaxacan Negroni with mezcal and coffee-infused Campari, and the stellar Maracuya with mezcal, Suze, blanc vermouth, passionfruit and clarified sour cream. Wow!! All the drinks were superb, highlighting all the ingredients and proudly using a simple garnish. According to La Jefa, the Maracuya is life-changing! Food: Started with the oysters, served with epazote (minty Mexican herb) hot sauce and salt (essential for that taste of the sea). Also had the papas (potatos) con chile, and both barbacoa (grilled beef) and shrimp tacos. No desserts on the menu yet, but they're in the works.

I love Tapas but am usually disappointed with what's available locally. However, I'm happy to say that Alana exceeded my expectations. There were four of us and we all tried different plates. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious! The spices and sauces were all unique and very different from one another. It was some of the best tapas I've had outside Spain. Their cocktails were equally amazing...truly unique and artisanal. I am usually disappointed in 'house specialty cocktails'. But in this instance, I highly recommend you try them. This is a new restaurant that is doing things right... with love and attention to detail. Let's give them our support. You won't be disappointed!!

Outstanding!! The best mole I've had since visiting Oaxaca was on the taco de Calabaza. The shrimp tacos were bright yet filled with complex flavors. The staff and owners are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their menu, mezcal and the local food scene.

This is a fantastic new spot in downtown Palm Springs! The atmosphere feels elevated and brings a refreshing vibe to the area. Plus, it’s open until midnight—a rarity in Palm Springs, which is a huge bonus. I’ve visited three times already and can’t get enough of the food. The Carne & Queso board has been a favorite every time, and I highly recommend the Carne Asada taco and the Paloma—they’re exceptional! The staff is equally impressive. Haley has been our server on each visit, and she’s absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and truly enhances the experience. Can’t wait to come back!
