We tried the ps1938 and Vegetable Tacos. Both were delicious. Especially the vegetable tacos were a good surprise as you don’t usually find good food in a bar. I’d say the alcohol in the cocktail could have been a bit more but it was still yummy. The bartender is awesome and super kind. If I go back, I’ll sit at the chairs that are outside. I love that seating area as you are on the street and also in the bar.

The space fills up quickly, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is seriously cool—intimate, eclectic, and just the right kind of lively. The food? Unique, bold, and packed with flavor. Every dish we tried felt like it had a story behind it, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft. The tequila selection is also a standout. Trust me, try it—you’ll notice it’s something special. Despite visiting on a crowded Friday night, the service was on point. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely seemed to care about the experience we were having. It’s definitely on the higher end in terms of price, but absolutely worth every penny. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Alana in the past, and she’s just as sweet and engaging as the place she’s created. Alana’s Tapas Bar is one of those rare spots you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend.

A walk in amazing experience on the popular Palm Canyon Drive. The hostess was most charming and helpful finding us a slightly bigger table for 3 outside. The cocktails very unique and delicious. The tapas were tasty and abundant for 3 people. Recommend it!

Alana is a terrific, recently opened tapas restaurant and bar with a warm, contemporary atmosphere. It is managed and operated by the son of the owner of Las Casuelas next door and named in her honor. The handsome dining room includes works of contemporary sculpture, design, and photography. Dining is available at the bar and at tables. The lists of drinks include six original signature and six classic cocktails. To begin your meal, there are choices of a charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, olives, and more; a carne apache board with beef tartare, nopales, avocado, dried chiles, and roasted garlic; and a bibb lettuce salad with fruits, including red cara cara oranges, mangoes, cheese, and guava vinaigrette, all of which our table enjoyed. The tapas cover the entire range: grilled barbacoa beef, chicken with mild chipoltle peppers, grilled shrimp, and a vegan vegetale option with mole. Friends in my dinner party are still talking about our meal. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

amazing spot for small bites and the best cocktails. cute and cozy with excellent vibes and design. plus they only serve additive free tequilas which is a plus for my group have been here multiple times since I recommend the oysters for a small bite and the Maracuya cocktail which was a blend of dates, fig, and something else floral... 10/10. I love Tapas but am usually disappointed with what's available locally. However, I'm happy to say that Alana exceeded my expectations. There were four of us and we all tried different plates. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious! The spices and sauces were all unique and very different from one another. It was some of the best tapas I've had outside Spain. Their cocktails were equally amazing...truly unique and artisanal. I am usually disappointed in 'house specialty cocktails'. But in this instance, I highly recommend you try them. This is a new restaurant that is doing things right... with love and attention to detail. Let's give them our support. You won't be disappointed!!

Such a cute, vibey bar. Loved the tapas and drinks were all good. The old school Mexican movies on the background were perfect and they are such good hostess.

Really enjoyed our visit here because we could order just the right amount of their excellent creative tapas. Flavors and textures were amazing with a really creative mix of Spanish and Asian influences. One minor oddity is that the blue tortilla chips were inconsistently crisp which could lead to a bite of food being difficult to chew since many of their dishes come with the blue tortilla chips. I probably wouldn't normally give five stars myself with this inconsistency, but everything else was really quite good. The chips which were in fact crisp were great and went really well with the dishes. I found myself testing each chip before committing to it by nibbling a corner. Luckily they give you plentiful chips anyway so it's not too hard to find enough crisp ones. The overall atmosphere is fairly dim, but extremely cozy and comfortable with some relaxed club music playing.

New experience here, great atmosphere. Vibes are viving! Great drinks, can't wait to come back.

Best service most amazing food and great all around decor! The ambiance is so warm and Welcoming this is a must try spot! The drinks are well crafted and the vibes are high here. This is the spot to go before you go next door to the best Mexican food in the valley! Or come here after dinner for a nightcap or dessert you can't go wrong!

Brand new place in Palm Springs. The people working there are amazing. Very personable. The decor and ambiance are very nice. Very cool vibe. Charcuterie board was my favorite and the cocktails. Haley and Jordan were terrific along with their coworker, whom I forget his name. (Sorry). We will definitely go back to try everything on menu.

The food was great and the drinks are amazing. Love the service and ambiance as well. They have a lit up drink inspired by Mexico City. Get it!

Cute new bar very friendly staff James was such a pleasure to have conversations with. Great customer service. This is next to las Casuelas restaurant. They had a girl Dj playing music this was a Saturday evening during stagecoach weekend and they have only been open for about 3 weeks. The maracuya was recommended and it was tasty enjoyed watching them make all the drinks at the bar. Reading the ingredients I was skeptical to have sour cream but it's not really there you don't see or taste it so definitely try it! Would come again while visiting Palm Springs

Best tapas iv had and the specialty drinks make it even better. The bartenders will tell you stories behind how every drink is made which is so cool! The vibes are awesome definitely will go back

This is precisely the ambience we needed. Very tastefully done with excellent service and drinks. A few weekends ago, we came by for dancing and lounging. It's so nice to have a place in town where you can have an upbeat and lively night out without the raucous of a nightclub.

I had the barbacoa and chicken tacos, and the mussels. The tacos are AMAZING!! The chef is from Mexico City and I you can taste every spice!! The meat is marinated to perfection!! The alcohol selection is unique and the specialty cocktail menu is great! I highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

I went to Alana Bar & Tapas this evening for the first time and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The decor is warm and inviting. The drinks were great with interesting selections. The tapas were delicious especially the shrimp tacos. You should go there just for those. I definitely will be going back again.

Everything about our dinner was AMAZING! Starting with the welcome by the owner, then our server and the food. My squash and veggie taco with Mole was so good I wanted to like the plate. The Mole was as delish and complex as those in Oaxaca (birthplace of mole). We can't wait to go back again.

Really kind and great team they have here. Drinks are well made with great flavor, and ambiance is amazing! I had the tacos de vegetales and they were delicious! If you like mole and are a mushroom lover like me, you must try this!

We were so lucky to stumble upon this bar while in Palm Springs. Good bars with friendly staff are rare these days! We initially walked in to kill some time but ended up staying the whole night! Their ceviche is super fresh and the cocktails are out of this world. The Tomatini is a MUST TRY! Can't wait to come back.

What a beautiful & quaint new addition to downtown Palm Springs! Alana bar & tapas has that elevated vibe that we all want. It's sexy, yet simple with great music that creates an inviting atmosphere. The food & drinks are superb paired with seasoned servers who know their stuff. The Atharvaveda & Bunuelo signature cocktails are a MUST. Same with the Carne Apache, Papas con Chile, barbacoa & pollo tacos! So. Much. Flavor. The parings on the carne y queso (charcuterie) is perfect! Those Japanese peanuts hit! Chefs kiss all around. They are doing things here that Palm Springs locals have to travel to experience and the well traveled visitors will LOVE!
