Today we visited Alana • Bar + Tapas and really enjoyed the overall experience. The atmosphere is one of the biggest highlights — cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed night out. It has a lively but intimate vibe that makes it great for date night or sharing small plates with friends. The cocktails truly stand out. You can tell there’s real thought put into the drink menu, with creative flavors and quality ingredients. If you enjoy tequila or mezcal-based drinks, this is definitely your place. Food-wise, the tapas are flavorful and beautifully presented. Dishes like the shrimp tacos, vegetable tacos, and charcuterie are great for sharing and pair nicely with the cocktails. That said, a couple of items felt a bit small for the price, and not every dish was equally memorable — but nothing was disappointing. Service was friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. Overall, Alana is a great spot if you’re looking for a stylish setting, strong cocktails, and a fun tapas-style night out. Even when the food varies slightly, the ambiance and drinks make it worth the visit.

What a great experience we had! The drinks had great presentation, minimalist, and delicious. The decor was beautiful. The food was beautifully presented. I would say this is my new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. Love the tacos! so flavorful and perfect textures. I will definitely be back soon. the owner chatted with us as we left and his family has a long history of restaurants in PS. Very nice guy.

This lowkey tapas bar completely blew us away. From the second we sat down, the vibe was warm, lively, and effortless. It’s the kind of spot that just feels good to be in. The food was incredible (the tacos were next level good), the cocktails were so well done, and the service was top tier. Huge shout out to our server Jade, who made the night even better with her energy and thoughtful recommendations. It is rare to find a place that nails the food, drinks, and service all at once, but this one absolutely does. We will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend.

Alana's has charm and cozy vibes that feeds your senses in the best way ! I recommend the Shrimp Tacos, and their specialty cocktails. Come with a friend or Spouse and you'll make bit a favorite spot!!!

Best drinks in the Coachella Valley! Palo fig & the barbacoa tacos are my favorite. Must try spot- everything on the menu is so good.

We tried the ps1938 and Vegetable Tacos. Both were delicious. Especially the vegetable tacos were a good surprise as you don’t usually find good food in a bar. I’d say the alcohol in the cocktail could have been a bit more but it was still yummy. The bartender is awesome and super kind. If I go back, I’ll sit at the chairs that are outside. I love that seating area as you are on the street and also in the bar.

We came to Palm Springs for a bachelorette party - we loved the drinks and tacos here and especially loved having Jade as our server - great recommendations and awesome service, really appreciate it when we are back in town we will be back!!

Grabbed drinks and a few tapas here. Food was good. We tried the shrimp tacos, chicken, tacos, and chili potatoes. The shrimp tacos were the favorite. For drinks, you can't go wrong. All were delicious. Personal favorites were the maracuya (and yes, sour cream in a cocktail sounded strange. Get over it and order one!)

The Mezcal cocktails are unique and delicious. My favorite taco was the barbacoa and the guacamole was so fresh! This is definitely a better option worth trying, for Mexican in Palm Springs.

Alana Bar and Tapas was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The tapas we shared were plentiful and incredibly tasty. Alana was the consummate host and was so welcoming. The room is beautifully designed as a modern touch in keeping the Palm Springs vibe. This is one of my new 'go-to's' in town.

Inconsistent Hours and Poor Communication We've now tried to visit this place twice, and both times were turned away well before their listed closing time of 12 AM. The first time, we arrived around 10:30 PM. The second time, we gave it another shot at 11 PM on a Friday night, thinking they would definitely be open. Unfortunately, they were closed again. What's frustrating is that there's no signage, update, or indication that they're operating on summer hours like other restaurants usually do. If your hours have changed, please update them online. It's basic courtesy and good business. We drove 40 minutes each time just to check this place out because we've heard such great things. Sadly, we've now wasted our time and energy twice.

I would come here way too much if I lived here. The cocktails are so inventive. Mine had collagen in it and prickly pear - yummmmm! Great service. The food was absolutely amazing. Go here friends.

Quaint tapas bar conveniently located along Palm Canyon Drive. Enjoyed a great margarita and delicious items on a charcuterie board. Worth a second visit soon.

A hidden gem. Superb tapas menu in an inviting setting. Attentive service. Reasonably priced. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our visit here because we could order just the right amount of their excellent creative tapas. Flavors and textures were amazing with a really creative mix of Spanish and Asian influences. One minor oddity is that the blue tortilla chips were inconsistently crisp which could lead to a bite of food being difficult to chew since many of their dishes come with the blue tortilla chips. I probably wouldn't normally give five stars myself with this inconsistency, but everything else was really quite good. The chips which were in fact crisp were great and went really well with the dishes. I found myself testing each chip before committing to it by nibbling a corner. Luckily they give you plentiful chips anyway so it's not too hard to find enough crisp ones. The overall atmosphere is fairly dim, but extremely cozy and comfortable with some relaxed club music playing.

Dining with The Davids is all about exploring the best culinary experiences, and Alana Bar & Tapas did not disappoint! The vibe here is elevated and chic, with a friendly and attentive staff. The cocktails are exceptional, featuring in-house syrups and mixers. Their tequila selection is 100% organic and additive-free--a must-try for any enthusiast! We sampled nearly everything on the menu with our group and voted on our favorites: * Tied for First: Carne Apache (a tender, smoky beef tartare) and Taco de Camarón (grilled shrimp with creamy avocado and mango salsa) * Second Place: Taco de Barbacoa (grilled beef with avocado and cilantro) * Third Place: Camote de Calzeta (sweet potatoes with piloncillo syrup and whipped cream) Alana Bar & Tapas is a gem in Palm Springs. Best service most amazing food and great all around decor! The ambiance is so warm and Welcoming this is a must try spot! The drinks are well crafted and the vibes are high here. This is the spot to go before you go next door to the best Mexican food in the valley! Or come here after dinner for a nightcap or dessert you can't go wrong!

Came here for a date night and loved it. The ambiance and decor makes this place feel fancy but not overly done. The bar is a beautiful setup. Service was fast and was always being checked on which was great. The yucca salad and guacamole and chips are some of my favorite. A nice gentleman worker also offered us a sample of this salsa which was absolutely delicious with the guacamole and chips. My partner and I also really enjoyed the bunuelo drink which was filled with flavor but not overpowered by alcohol. I've gone back multiple times since my first time and still enjoy getting the bunuelo every time.

New experience here, great atmosphere. Vibes are viving! Great drinks, can't wait to come back.

Brand new place in Palm Springs. The people working there are amazing. Very personable. The decor and ambiance are very nice. Very cool vibe. Charcuterie board was my favorite and the cocktails. Haley and Jordan were terrific along with their coworker, whom I forget his name. (Sorry). We will definitely go back to try everything on menu.

Cute new bar very friendly staff James was such a pleasure to have conversations with. Great customer service. This is next to las Casuelas restaurant. They had a girl Dj playing music this was a Saturday evening during stagecoach weekend and they have only been open for about 3 weeks. The maracuya was recommended and it was tasty enjoyed watching them make all the drinks at the bar. Reading the ingredients I was skeptical to have sour cream but it's not really there you don't see or taste it so definitely try it! Would come again while visiting Palm Springs

The food was great and the drinks are amazing. Love the service and ambiance as well. They have a lit up drink inspired by Mexico City. Get it!

amazing spot for small bites and the best cocktails. cute and cozy with excellent vibes and design. plus the only serve additive free tequilas which is a plus for my group have been here multiple times since I recommend the oysters for a small bite and the Maracuya cocktail which was a blend of dates, fig, and something else floral... 10/10. Nothing else like this in Palm Springs

This is precisely the ambience we needed. Very tastefully done with excellent service and drinks. A few weekends ago, we came by for dancing and lounging. It's so nice to have a place in town where you can have an upbeat and lively night out without the raucous of a nightclub.

Best tapas iv had and the specialty drinks make it even better. The bartenders will tell you stories behind how every drink is made which is so cool! The vibes are awesome definitely will go back

Alana is a beautiful experience! DJ Aylex was spinning the best music, the tapas were amazing the craft cocktails were next level!!! And oh my gosh....our server Noah was the cutest!!! So attentive and friendly....best service we've had in long time!

I had the barbacoa and chicken tacos, and the mussels. The tacos are AMAZING!! The chef is from Mexico City and I you can taste every spice!! The meat is marinated to perfection!! The alcohol selection is unique and the specialty cocktail menu is great! I highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

Charcuterie very good and large, other portions small as expected but very tasty. Drinks great; not familiar with wine menu choices.

I went to Alana Bar & Tapas this evening for the first time and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The decor is warm and inviting. The drinks were great with interesting selections. The tapas were delicious especially the shrimp tacos. You should go there just for those. I definitely will be going back again.

Drinks are good, large selection of tequila. Has a good open floor plan and doesn't make you feel crowded.

The drinks and food are good, but very limited. Prices are high, even for downtown Palm Springs and the restaurant didn't deliver to that price caliber.

Everything about our dinner was AMAZING! Starting with the welcome by the owner, then our server and the food. My squash and veggie taco with Mole was so good I wanted to like the plate. The Mole was as delish and complex as those in Oaxaca (birthplace of mole). We can't wait to go back again.

We were so lucky to stumble upon this bar while in Palm Springs. Good bars with friendly staff are rare these days! We initially walked in to kill some time but ended up staying the whole night! Their ceviche is super fresh and the cocktails are out of this world. The Tomatini is a MUST TRY! Can't wait to come back.

What a beautiful & quaint new addition to downtown Palm Springs! Alana bar & tapas has that elevated vibe that we all want. It's sexy, yet simple with great music that creates an inviting atmosphere. The food & drinks are superb paired with seasoned servers who know their stuff. The Atharvaveda & Bunuelo signature cocktails are a MUST. Same with the Carne Apache, Papas con Chile, barbacoa & pollo tacos! So. Much. Flavor. The parings on the carne y queso (charcuterie) is perfect! Those Japanese peanuts hit! Chefs kiss all around. They are doing things here that Palm Springs locals have to travel to experience and the well traveled visitors will LOVE!
