The 22 Best Coffee Bars in Los Angeles

"Alana’s Coffee Roasters is a solid cafe because it sources excellent beans and a vast selection of loose-leaf teas. Head to West Hollywood or Mar Vista to enjoy a chipotle mocha and Nutella croissant with outdoor seating at both locations. The shaded back patio at the Mar Vista location, in particular, is a favorite of the Westside creative class, who spend languid afternoons writing and sipping on its mismatched chairs and couches." - Mona Holmes, Rebecca Roland

Google
Discovered this place this spring , drove by many times, worked at the Starbucks across the street during the pandemic, never once came here 🤯🤯🤯 Definitely adding to my work coffee shops Google maps list! ProTIP: Don’t bother with ordering ahead, don’t think they start making it until you get there? Also, YOU need to announce yourself when you arrive to initiate the making of the drink?? - Thats what I was told anyway.

Google
The atmosphere is good, and there are tables outside, so you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee on a nice day. There is also a roasting machine, and you can see them roasting the beans themselves. The smell of roasting coffee is also very good. The coffee tastes very good. They sell coffee beans and various other products.

Google
Lovely coffee shop. Indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot, but lots of paid street parking Very good espresso drinks, with great baked goods I had a fabulous sesame bagel. Great place to start your day!

Google
This place is really amazing. A kind of local owned Coffee and Tea with lots of tables outside in front and on the outside patio in back. And there's a few tables inside by the front door. Very friendly staff. It reminds me of a place I went to for years, several years ago in Silicon Valley. The iced green tea is amazing. I have it every time I go and the pastries are excellent especially the Apple Danish. Very chill vibes. Very large parking lot extends from the front of the building all the way to the back patio area and beyond with an alley exit in the rear

Google
Alana's was my go-to coffee place a year ago when I lived in LA area. The quality of coffee beans, the baristas, the vibe, and even the price are amazing. Whenever friends visited me, I always took them to Alana's and no one got disappointed. Although I have moved to TX for a while, I continue to order beans from Alana's because of its great service and quality.

Google
This is my girlfriend favorite coffee place in LA, I’m from Italy and I was visiting her and she wanted to let me try it as well. I have to admit that this place is great and coffee very very good!l and their croissants as well! Vibes are great and the atmosphere as well, nice interiors and wide backyard next to the big parking lot where people can work and enjoy a chat under a tent. I’m looking forward to go back there when I’ll be in LA again!

Google
Service was quick once we made it to the counter to order. Iced oat matcha latte was quick to come out and tasted perfect (along with spot on consistency). Other than the person smoking a cigar at a table out front at like 11am, would highly recommend! :)

Google
The coffee shop itself is very cute and nice. Nice seating in the front and back patio too. Ive only tried their cold brew which I found sorta bitter and not smooth. I had to add sweetener and cream to make it more palatable. I think the lattes are pretty popular here so I should have gone with one of those.

Yelp
Great local coffee spot that roasts its own coffee. Great coffee, ample space to sit, small parking lot and super dog friendly. Come support a great local business!

Yelp
Visited Jan '25 - came all the way to Alana's for the mushroom and vegan cheese croissant. This was my third visit back and second time having the croissant. Of everything I've tried, it's easily my favorite and worth swinging by for. Unfortunately, they don't always have it and I would prefer to call before going in that direction but, I don't believe the number works as I don't get an answer. However, I LOVE this croissant and I'm not at all vegan. It MUST be HOT, not warm, hot. That's how you get the full experience. I'm working my way through the menu to find a latte I love. The chai matcha latte is ok (wish they had just a chai latte). It's a cute coffee shop inside but small, the lovely part is the backyard style patio. Parking is easy, right off the side of the building but gets full fast. Staff is always lovely.

Yelp
Alana's coffee I bet is a staple among the Venice community. It feels like it has been standing for years. As I was pulling into their private parking lot, I could not only smell the amazing coffee aroma but I could hear that coffee roasting process was in full progress which was sooooooo awesome! The service was super friendly. The lavender latte was delicious. The coffee shop was full of people doing work or school stuff which shows that it is a place to just come and hang out and enjoy! I will be back for sure!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a little confused over all the 5 star reviews. Is the place really cool because you get to see the coffee roasting process? Yes. Do they have freshly roasted beans for sale? Yes. But I ordered an iced vanilla latte and I swear they forgot to put espresso in it or something. It tasted just like iced oatmilk. My husband got the same thing with regular milk and we tasted zero coffee in it. He also got a cold brew and it was so watered down. We did buy a bag of beans so the cold brew came free with it or a drip coffee. Besides that, the staff is super great! They're all so friendly and welcoming. It is really small inside and I believe you can't be there longer than 2 hours. So probably not the best place to get work done. Overall, I wouldn't come back unless it's maybe to buy beans only. Metered street parking.

Yelp
Alana's is easily one of my favorite coffee spots in LA, if not all of Venice. They have an incredible pastry selection - from their mouthwatering chorizo hand-pies to the flaky, guava-filled croissants. Honestly, I could close my eyes and randomly choose anything, confident it will be absolutely delicious, whether it's one of their tasty lattes or another pastry. Service is always great and the owner is such a cool, chill guy! Can't wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is incredible - fresh roasted beans, yes, please! They have plenty of parking and an outside patio. We ordered the gingerbread latte, seasonal, of course, and an iced latte. They roast our own beans in house, so everything is fresh and packaged. There's more seating inside as well. The service is exceptional. Can't wait to come back again. Pro tip : the patio outside has plenty of space and pet friendly. Plenty of parking as well.
google avatar

Tammy T.

Yelp
This is my go-to coffee shop in the MDR/Venice/Mar Vista neighborhood. They roast a variety of their own beans including some single origin options. Buy a bag and get a free coffee. I also love to order the Chipotle Mocha which isn't too sweet and has the perfect kick. Some people I have brought also like the mushroom coffee (not for coffee lovers though) Small free lot, metered street parking or walk a block for neighborhood street parking. There is a little seating inside and outside
google avatar

Edward C.

Yelp
I love to come here and do some work. They have a great outdoor patio area with some shade but there's also indoor seats too. It looked pretty crowded when I went and it makes sense because the vibe is very friendly, the matcha latte is delicious and the wifi is strong. The inside is very air conditioned so given the hot days, the inside was packed. There are not any outlets in the patio area from what I saw so keep that in mind and come with a fully charged laptop. Then you can chill outside, do some work and enjoy the vibes. Parking: They have a small lot which can be filled up so you may have to look for street parking. It wasn't too bad when I went but a lot of it is 2 hr only.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Great coffee and lovely place to meet with friends. They have a big patio in the back.
google avatar

Jan D.

Yelp
For a small spot, it has a lot to offer! It can easily accommodate 40 people from the front, to the inside, to the back. The star of the show is the tomato mozzarella puff pastry. Right amount of saltiness from the mozz and sweetness from the tomato. It just all goes well together. I also got the chipotle mocha which was great but interesting. You get a kick from the chipotle but the mocha complements it really well. Theres also an effect of tamarindo in the back of your mouth after you drink it which made it very fun. All in all this was a great find

Yelp
Tl;dr: Amazing place to get really good coffee and hang out/chat, not so much if you're trying to look for a place to work or get easily overstimulated. Drinks: -Hot latte with 2% milk (5/5): Opted for 2% milk because I was too stubborn to pay $1 extra for alternative milk. It was delicious and the barista even made a fancy swan latte art! -Pour over (5/5): The one we tried this day seemed to have some notes of dark chocolate and cherry, but I also could be completely wrong. It was great nonetheless. Food: -Saw some pastry options and other small items such as overnight oats. Their pastries look similar, if not identical, to that of another coffee branch, which I've tried multiple times and had not been impressed with, so I opted out this time. Service: -Friendly and fast, but gosh is it super chaotic. As soon as someone orders, the person working the cash register would yell out the order to the staff working in the back or at the espresso machine. I wish they had a more low key way to handle orders, but I guess this is what they've been doing and a system that they like. There were a few tables inside, but I personally know I would get absolutely no work done inside with all of the constant noise. You could also see someone roasting the beans to the side, so that is pretty cool. -Dog friendly. The cash register gave us a dog treat as soon as we walked up to the counter when he saw we had a dog, which was really nice!! Ambiance: Extremely loud and chaotic inside. Pretty small and crowded, so it can quickly get overwhelming if you're not used to it. There are tables outside both in the front and back. The back is a lot more quiet, though it could still feel pretty crowded because the tables are pretty close to each other and there are a lot of people chatting while enjoying their coffee. Overall, a nice place to hang out and chat, but not really an ideal place to work. I saw some people enjoying their coffee while reading.

Yelp
Real coffee shops are back! This place felt straight out of a movie. The decor is modern, yet homey. The workers and customers are SO friendly. Multiple people seemed to be regulars, so they asked each other about things going on in their lives. I got the gingerbread latte and it was delicious! I wish there was more of a coffee flavor but next time I'll get a flat white. There are also comfy benches and outlets to get work done but the seats fill up FAST.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my experience at Alana's Coffee Roasters! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and provided me with a delightful tasting of multiple coffees. Their passion for coffee really shines through. I ended up taking home a bag of their Ethiopian coffee, and it's fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore great coffee! Great environment, perfect ambiance to sit and relax as well

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp, and so glad I did! My last day in LA, I was looking for a nearby coffee shop with nice outdoor seating, and this place checked all the boxes. This was definitely the best cafe I've visited while in LA, and up there on my list of best coffee spots in general. Everything was all around great. Trendy neighborhood, lots of murals and street art. The decor inside the shop was very aesthetic. Often, you see cafes that have a curated, cute presence, and then the reality is less cool than it looks online. Not the case! This shop is even more gorgeous than it is online! The courtyard is the obvious draw. They have a large gated outdoor space out back in addition to a few tables out front on the sidewalk. It's an obvious plus to have a closed off courtyard, in case you want to relax without facing traffic or passersby. The courtyard is a little oasis! Sunshine streaming through but plenty of shade, lush leafy green plants all around, an airstream office at the back, plenty of seating. And, a cafe cat! He was lounging on a couch, sleeping and stretching in the sunshine, totally unbothered when guests sat next to him and happy to accept an occasional head scratch. I came mid to late afternoon on a weekday (2-4PM) and it was easy for me to find space both inside and outside. I opted to sit outside, and nabbed a table in the shade next to an outlet. I went for the chipotle mocha, which was like a Mexican hot chocolate but with coffee. It was immaculately made and just the exact perfect amount of smoky spicy. Coffee was roasted wonderfully and well-brewed. This was such a relaxing spot and a great place to work. I'm so happy I found this spot, and would surely visit again and work here next time I'm in LA. Highly recommend giving this spot a visit!

Yelp
I have fallen in love! Not just a coffee house, but fresh roasted on site. I have just got into coffee about 4yrs ago, and have gone deep. Walking into this place felt like not just a cool space with great service to come enjoy some coffee / tea products, but a family of people who love coffee. From the staff at the counter kind and full of information about what is being brewed, to the roaster on the other side with his partner helping the roast and the owner hanging out getting work done and cleaning tables as needed. YES COME IN! If you just want a coffee or tea great place. But if you want to enjoy coffee for what it is a Must! Buy a cup of coffee and you get a refill for $1. From the website they also do fun events, if I lived closer man I would be there daily.

Yelp
A co-worker of mine told me about Alana's in Mar Vista. They have a great place off Venice and Centinela and it is always a pleasure to go there. They have plenty of seating in front, inside and a large outdoor patio! There is a parking lot where you will also find a food truck from time to time, collaborating with Alana's. For you commuters out there, they open at 6:30am! When you walk in you smell coffee - yes of course you do, but it's the smell of freshly roasted beans. They have a bean roasting room enclosed in glass and the smell is intoxicating. I have been drinking coffee all my life, but it wasn't until recently when I bought an espresso machine at home that I started to appreciate fresh roasted beans. They sell a variety of blends there and my favorite so far is their 10th Street Espresso which is a blend of Columbian and Ethiopian beans. They roast on a regular basis so their inventory is always roasted within a few days. They have a good menu of drinks and have a nice selection of pastries which are usually gone by lunch. Stop by to enjoy a latte or the number of other drinks as well. They host events in their outdoor patio from time to time which you can learn all about on their Instagram page. In addition to their location off Venice Blvd, they also have a location in Weho, which I have yet to visit. What is your favorite coffee drink and why aren't you at Alana's yet!
google avatar

Meera S.

Yelp
Alana's is a cute little coffeeshop and the ideal spot to post up for a couple hrs to study/work or catch up with friends. The back patio is super inviting so don't be surprised if it reels you in to staying longer than intended. There are plants scattered throughout, a vintage airstream, and different types of seating with convenient outlets for those with technology. I enjoyed a matcha latte with almond milk and honey drizzle ($7) on the back patio while working on Friday morning around 11am. It was sunny, breezy, and calm - a pleasant morning indeed.
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
the best part about this place is they have their own small private parking lot, which does fill up pretty fast, but at least its an option. got the cold brew since i wanted an iced coffee. it was pretty tasty. medium roast, full of flavor. they have a ton of seating for how limited their parking lot is
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
Such a great coffee shop in Venice! Even though the parking lot is small, there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of shaded areas. The staff were fantastic - it was my first time visiting, and even though there was a line, the cashier had no problem answering my questions and explaining bits of the menu to me. I ended up ordering a Black Iced Tea with vanilla syrup and a splash of oat milk. I heard they are known for their delicious vanilla syrup, so I was excited to try. Overall I enjoyed it, and it wasn't too sweet! I need to come back to try the Pirate's Chai (matcha based chai)! It sounds so intriguing, and I've never had anything like it before.

Yelp
Have never had a bad experience here. EVER! Love coming here for the ambiance inside or out back, the delicious house roasted coffee and the delicious assortment of pastries. Grier friendly service. Super cool staff. Always bilingual, and always knowledgeable and helpful.

Yelp
Gorgeous & comfy lounge ambiance (probably the best on the westside which bumped it up a star). Coffee was mediocre & sadly cold. Great spot to work, lounge, or enjoy the westside. Average, just bearable spot for the coffee. Coffee: * Coffee flavor was okay. A smooth well blended bitter but as the coffee got cold it turned sour/not as enjoyable. A real let down that the coffee itself and surprisingly also the frothed milk was cold. Very little variety on the menu with little specialty coffee (black, cap, latte). * milk was COLD. * to be honest it wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't good and it was hard to finish the rest of the cup * milk was a bit more frothy than creamy * sachi (amazing coffee) and Saturday marina del rey farmers market are near by Service: * servers were a bit rude and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Place was really crowded but coffee came out fast Parking: * they have a parking lot for ~8 cars & ~5 meter parking (free on Sunday) & free 2 hr residential parking around the corner. * we went on a Saturdays afternoon and all the parking spots were filled, had to park around the block which wasn't that far of a walk * if you parked in the residential area, you can take a shortcut and enter through the back parking lot Ambiance: * gorgeous, lots of shade and sunlight with greenery and good wind/ventilation * inside - lots of chairs and sofa benches both inside, outside and also in front of the coffee shop * inside has strong AC and loud coffee shop music with leather couches * outside - no music, soft chatter from people around you, great weather * the only con is that this spot is really busy and the chairs next to you are pretty close so you hear a lot of the chatter. People are pretty respectful and keep it to a minimum but occasionally you have that overly large group which can be a bit distracting since all the chairs/tables are about 6 inches away * wifi: freshlyroasted * dogs welcomed ! No water bowls or food options for doggos

Yelp
Alana's is great. Coffee is stellar and food is delicious. Get anything on the menu, and you'll be happy. You know it's great because the line can get long, but it moves quickly enough. The croissants are a must, but don't be surprised if they're sold out (they're that good)! There's not too much seating inside due to the small footprint, but there are plenty of tables out back (and on the sidewalk in front) in a nice shaded setting.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
I met a friend for coffee at Alana's and we had a great experience. Crowd/parking: I went around 7:30am and there were several open parking spaces. There were two people in line ahead of me but the line moved quickly. Service: we took our coffee to go, but the baristas were friendly and gave my friend's dog a treat! (Dog friendly) The interior is CUTE! Lots of hanging plants and an area in the back where you can see how the coffee beans are made. They also have an awesome back patio, which was totally empty since it was 40 degrees this morning. My iced oat milk latte was great and my friend enjoyed her pour over. We did not try any food options. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Shoutout to Will who was kind enough to make me a new drink when the chagaccino was not my cup of tea (still a solid drink but didn't absolutely love it). I had their vanilla oat milk latte instead and it was delicious! Super cute spot with accessible parking, I would come back to try the other drinks and for their welcoming service.

Yelp
amazing tea/drinks, friendly staff, and a cozy space to WFH with your laptop! you can feel the love of community here! love the art in the bathroom too
google avatar

Leah W.

Yelp
This place lives up to the hype, with beautiful pastries, and a huge outdoor patio in the back. They have lots of coffee items, and the staff was incredibly kind. It's a pretty small space inside, because people stay and do work, but it's worth it for the patio in the back. It's also right down the street from the beach! I got an iced chai, which was great, and an Arnold Palmer to go because it was a warm day. I wrote more about it on my account, @coffeemeetsbaby
google avatar

Yelp
Love the staff and energy ! Their coffee is amazing and selection but their staff loves being there. This place is a gem. The ambiance in Alana's is so cute and a great place to hang out!!
google avatar

Yelp
Pro: coffee roasted in house, good single origin variety, fresh patio, friendly employees. *** I won't go to into detail given this is a follow up review. I had not been back to Alana's in a few months and finally found some time to come back! I was reminded why I love this cafe. First, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee is wonderful. They really care about their quality and have tasty drinks. Second, the baristas are always welcoming and friendly. Lastly, I love the back patio! They have great wifi, shade, and outdoor outlets which make working from here a pleasure. I love it here.
google avatar

Yelp
Alana's is a café that I've come back to time and time again. I've tried a few of their croissants and drinks and they've never disappointed. My go-tos are their Almond Croissant ($5) and Pirate's Chai ($6) which is a matcha-based chai. I absolutely love their almond croissants! I always asked to have it warmed up so the outside would be crispy and the filling inside would be warm and buttery. The line can get long during certain parts of the day, but it moves fast. They have multiple people making the drinks and heating up baked goods so it's an efficient process. If it's not too busy, the baristas would make pretty latte art for you! Overall, this is my go-to café in the area. I like that they have free WiFi so many people come here to work from the café. They have seating on the inside and a cute and spacious outdoor patio in the back.

Yelp
My 73 year old Asian mother walked in to order 2 iced lattes with whole milk and the Caucasian man that was working the counter was rude and impatient with her. He started making the lattes hot and my mother quickly reminded him she wanted iced and with whole milk. There were times in the past where I went with her and when I said whole the barrista would accidentally give me Oat. He immediately gave her attitude and made her feel uncomfortable as if it completely inconvenienced him. If there was a language barrier, he should have been even nicer and taken the time to ask again what she wanted. I tried calling the store but no one picks up the phone. Why can't people just be nice to others? The manager needs to give the employees a lesson on customer service and acceptance of others. Date: Sunday, 4/28 Time: 1:15PM

Yelp
I love Alana's Coffee Roasters! Fantastic coffee and friendly people. A favorite place to go!

William H.

Yelp
The current owner is the woman who convinced me I was worth something. I started from nothing. I was a missing person. I had committed crimes. The owners at the time gave me a second chance. Erin gave me a business that I will always thank her for. Erin is a truthful woman, and an incredible mother. She is always looking out for staff, regulars, I don't know how to thank her for saving my life but maybe this will help. That is why Alana's coffee is the best coffee in the world. my Uncle Kevin Gates will hopefully come visit soon. love you guys from Washington DC. Please don't get me started on ambiance because you will feel immediately at home. Trust V and trust me this is the BEST coffee! Bonus points if you know the origin story of the name. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Yelp
Great coffee, great food, ridiculously quick service for an independent shop. They're at least as fast as Starbucks or coffee bean with WAY better coffee. Seating options are really great. Cool indoor and outdoor options. Great vibe. Parking on site, easy to find street parking if the lot is full. 11/10
google avatar

Yelp
The best coffee I've had in awhile. I like the speed of this place. Low key vibes without any pretentiousness. Friendly staff. Limited food menu.
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
The famous Alana's coffee roasters in mar vista. Went during ciclavia and it was lit. The lines for coffee were long. The iced vanilla latte was good but could've been stronger.
google avatar

Diane M.

Yelp
I love the vibe of the back patio at Alana's. Service was great. I tried the pirate's matcha (matcha chai) and appreciated that it wasn't super sweet, but I also felt like it tasted watered down compared to matcha elsewhere. Would probably try the coffee next time, but appreciate that they have tea options!
google avatar

Nicole O.

Yelp
Just went there earlier, the coffee was good. The server was friendly and helpful and recommended a good coffee .. the environment was cool with inside and outside patio. We sat on the back and it was really cool.. it gets crowded later but overall was great. Someone in the restaurant let me use the employee restroom which was super helpful. Thank you very much.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Alana's roasts their coffee in-house which makes for some of the best coffee beans you can get on the west side. When you buy a bag of coffee beans, they offer you a cup of their brewed coffee. I tried the Colombian Huila and it was so good. I usually get the Ethiopian beans just because they have the fruit notes that I enjoy. Also, if you're enjoying your coffee at Alana's, they have an outdoor patio space in the back that's really nice. Inside if more of your traditional coffee shop vibe.

Yelp
First time coming here. I visited Alana's coffee on the weekend. They had a trailer in their parking lot selling crepes. We definitely had to purchase a Nutella crepe, it was delicious! Then we continued to with going into Alana's coffee shop. This place is super cool, inside its tiny, so finding a spot to sit inside is a little tough. They have seating in the back and out front. We were able to get a table in the front, which we loved because we sat next to a group of guys playing some instruments, which was delightful. We ordered 2 vanilla lattes extra sweet. You definitely cannot go wrong with this place. I like to rate my places from 1 to 10. 1 through 3 - will never comeback 4 through 5.8 - will come back if someone I'm with wants to try the spot 5.9 though 7.0 -will come back 7.1 through 9.9 will make an effort to come back and I would recommend the spot 10.0 is the best place! (Haven't had a 10 because there is always a better place out there. My rating for this place is 7.2 (Will you come back? Yes!) My Yelp rating is regarding the service, the experience and the quality of food or beverage.

Yelp
Owners who are deeply involved in the relationships with their farmers, the production of their coffee, and who roast on site. How special is this place?! And they love our earth so much, you get a discount when you bring in a reusable cup! I'm obsessed with their iced cold brew -- with extra ice and a sprinkle of cinnamon! Smooth, not bitter and leaves you refreshed, focused, alert, and energetic all day! Early risers fill the coffee shop inside, there's outdoor seating along Venice, and a cool outdoor patio! So many options to work remotely, meet a friend, or dive into your current read. In LOVE with Alana's!!!

Yelp
Alana's is a cute coffee shop with tons of outdoor seating, fast WiFi, and outlets! They have a small parking lot with additional street parking in the neighborhood nearby. There's a small indoor area with a few tables but the highlight is definitely the large outdoor patio. There's tons of tables of different sizes with outlets scattered throughout and accessible by about half the tables. There's a lot of greenery and good WiFi, making it the perfect study spot! It's also pet friendly and a lot of people bring their dogs to the patio. The coffee is averagely priced and good quality with all the alternative milk options. They have a wide selection of pastries and breakfast available too, including a handful of vegan pastry options. My personal favorite is the blueberry scone, and they can heat up any of the pastries for you. The service is pretty quick and overall one of the better coffee shops on the west side!

Yelp
5 stars for their drinks, I have been enjoying Erin's coffee since he was at the farmers market in Redondo Beach before he opened up his locations. I'm so happy for him and it's a very encouraging to see everything he has accomplished! Love all the decor especially the RV in the back patio such a nice touch! Service on the other hand, maybe it was just my experience but I would go to the farmers market every Thursday morning for his Chipotle Mochas and they were ice blended and my husband and I fell in love with them. And we work close by to Alana's so around Covid time up until recently we would go into work and would always postmates from there and always order the chipotle mocha ice blended and on Monday April 29 at 11ish we finally went into the shop in person and ordered our drink and shortly after the barista asks "ice blended?" And then continues on saying "like all blended and sh*t" and then pointed right at me and my husband and said "this is you guys?". I felt so awkward and just sat there feeling horrible and I absolutely love this drink but now I don't know if I want to go through the embarrassment again. Very unprofessional and inappropriate language.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with places to study and WiFi but very loud and rowdy indoors. I was able to get some work done but headphones would be needed if seated inside. Also more of a social spot than anything. Nice priced drinks though and you get get something cheap to sit down

Yelp
Alana's Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee shop that roasts their coffee beans. They have their own private parking lot and paid street parking nearby. There's free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. They also have a beautiful back patio/courtyard with more seating. Two bathrooms are available in the back. +Pour Over (rotating single origin) for $4.75 - This coffee is great. It's not bitter at all. - 5/5 Overall, Alana's Coffee Roasters is a sure bet for a quality cup of coffee. I would highly recommend checking them out.

Yelp
Great spot for good quality in house roasted coffee and chai teas etc. usually very full mornings until about 11am-12noon ish then it thins out a bit and you have a table spot . Friendly staff, customers, and pets. All are welcome here. The equipment/roasters , line, entrance, flow is quite odd but manageable.

Yelp
Probably the best hand crafted cup-o-joe in LA. I had a simple Oat Latte. So cool to see them actually roasting beans as well.

Yelp
I met a friend here recently for the first time. It was such a good experience sitting in the courtyard catching up. I had a hot chocolate & the friend had a latte. What a treat to have a hot chocolate with cinnamon! :) It's really a cool place to sit inside or in the courtyard. The service was really good too. I would suggest that they try to adjust the music, as it was a bit loud when I was there. All in all, a really fun experience & a great hot chocolate! :) :)

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop with outdoor patio seating and a free parking lot. Came here to grab an iced matcha latte in the morning and there was a long line that moved fairly quickly. They do have indoor seats as well and they're dog friendly. It's a good spot for studying and the overall atmosphere is very laidback. They have free wifi.

Yelp
They make their own coffee here with huge machinery. It's pretty cool to see. They also sell merch (see photo) I'm a matcha drinker but I got my friend a coffee and she prefers this place over all the places in Venice /Culver City area. The matcha is really good. There is a long line but it moves quickly and they have a cold brew express line outside. They have Wi-Fi available.
