Alba Osteria Served Its Last Bowl of Pasta This Week - Eater DC
"Alba Osteria was a 6-year-old Italian eatery renowned for its fresh pastas, cheap happy hour, antipasti, and wood-fired pizzas. It was opened by Hakan Ilhan, with Centrolina chef and James Beard Foundation Award finalist Amy Brandwein as its opening chef de cuisine in late 2013. The restaurant closed due to an inability to strike a rent deal with the landlord." - Tierney Plumb
Pretty good, large portions for their brunch menu, except you will not get all of what's on the entree versions, of course, just the nitty gritty.

Bottomless brunch here was sooo good! The food was solid and the drinks were great. The staff was friendly, though a bit aloof. Their willingness to bring us whatever we asked for certainly made up for it!

Poor service, unaccommodating manager. I met friends for food and drinks, friends had ordered bottomless brunch before I arrived. I tried to order a single frittata and was told by waiter & manager the whole table had to order bottomless brunch or nobody could. He refused to let me order an individual dish so I sat and drank a single coffee for two hours in order to spend time with the people I planned a meal with.
An absurd rule that is an obvious grab for money. Embarrassing to allow a customer in your restaurant to have nothing but coffee and leave unsatisfied. Insulting to not trust your customers. Will not return to Alba.

Went with a large group for brunch and had an absolute blast. Bottomless food and brunch cocktails. The bellinis were amazing. Monte Cristo was delicious as well as the pasta and meatballs. Don't bother with the salads!

The Bottomless Brunch is amazing!!! We did family style for 7 people and had plenty of food. We tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed all of it! Do let your waiter know of any allergies or food preferences. 10/10 would recommend!
