"‘Codole’ is the nickname of the family that runs this restaurant and whose ancestors once worked in the copper mines in the area. Today, the family has exchanged mining for cooking, offering guests specialities such as ricotta and black truffle ravioli with a lamb ragù, and loin of venison in a porcini mushroom crust." - Michelin Inspector

Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. Waitresses are attentive, kind and caring. There‘s a sommellier, very rare these days, and their menu is sublime. I also noticed that water glasses were from Murano, simply stunning, and the general atmosphere was positive. You can tell that they care and think about every little detail - again, rare these days.

A little tucked away but very nice dining experience. All dishes on menu met up to our tastes and satisfaction. Would have been 5* apart from mix up with group order, otherwise friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back and make it 5* one day.

We stayed the night as part of a ski safari. Absolutely amazing meal, 5-7 courses (we lost track) of excellent quality. We just had the house wine which was also delicious. Couldn’t recommend enough. Gourmet cuisine. Breakfast was pretty impressive too. Cost was included in the ski safari so not sure on price.

This family-run hotel has all the best points of such an establishment, very welcoming and with great attention to detail. It is attractive, spotlessly clean, and the restaurant - whilst a little on the expensive side - has a truly delicious and wide-ranging menu and a great wine cellar. All the staff are attentive and most helpful, and as the hotel is located a couple of minutes from the beautiful Piazza Papa Luciani, it is both convenient but also quiet. My room had a wonderful view of the mountains. I had a very happy stay of six nights here and I would certainly recommend this hotel, and hope to stay again.

Very traditional-looking restaurant that serves interesting and creative versions of local dishes. Prices and ambition of the chef are both higher than other local restaurants, and we had a fun evening tasting some inspired combinations. Also, the wine was amazing.

I was there in February with a small group. The rooms are quite small but clean. We were on the top floor and it was quite a climb to the room. We had the most incredible meal consisting of I think 7 courses. The food was delicious and obviously popular with the locals. Had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Very welcoming people and well worth the visit.

The hotel itself is not particularly special - the room we had was a small double with a good sized bathroom and a weak shower. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage. Also good wifi in the bedrooms - which was hard to come by on our trip! ||BUT the selling point of the hotel is the food. It is sensational! We had about 7 courses all incredibly special - as a pescetarian they had gone out of their way to make individual dishes that were of the same standard as the meat dishes. Nowhere else we had stayed really catered for non-meat eaters or those trying to avoid pork. The highlights were: herring with horseradish ice cream served on caramelised orange, a mini artichoke cheesecake and a delicious hazelnut creme brule. This is without mentioning the amazing breads and canapes. There is a giant wine list you can spend 50 euros on a bottle of wine if you wish or opt for a 15 euro bottle as we did. The breakfasts were also full of treats - cakes pastries, lovely bread, fresh fruit and cheese. The staff were also very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate requests. The sommelier was a bit sniffy about the wine but I put this down to us being in a large group and rather indecisive about what we wanted. The cumin grappa was also very good. I'd make a detour to stay at this place again.
