Family-owned since the ’90s, this downtown smokehouse pairs Tulsa-style ribs and brisket with a strong local following. Recognized by Oklahoma Magazine’s Best of the Best and long praised by local critics.

There was no crowd on Monday at 2 pm. There is plenty of seating. I did a walk in to-go order. I went to the restroom and when I came out, my food was ready! The BBQ here is very good! I got chopped brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and baked beans. Delicious!

The food tastes as sad as it looks. Brisket was old and dry, probably microwaved. Potato salad was weirdly sweet; not a good flavor. Fried okra was fine, mac and cheese was boring at best. Not the worst BBQ I’ve had, but it’s in the bottom 10%.

Albert G's has some of the best BBQ in the city! In the heart of Tulsa, OK, Albert G's is a big space with tables, Booths and a bar with high ceilings but a bit dark. The service is great as the Hostess, greet and sit you with a smile. The servers are very knowledgeable and check with you often but not enough to be intrusive. The highlight is of course the food where the dry rub ribs are the highlight. The ribs are tasty, tender and practically fall off the bone. In addition, the Beef brisket is as tender and can be cut solely with a fork. The potato salad has a firm texture with a bit of sweet tang. A must eat restaurant while visiting Tulsa or residing there. Great service, exceptional food and very reasonable prices! Well done Albert G's!

Good OK style bbq. Pulled pork was moist. Brisket was cooked well. Ribs delicious. Cool pickle bar area. Large seating. Great staff.

This is the fourth bbq restaurant I have eaten at on my road trip. I always get the 3 meat platter with brisket, ribs, and sausage. I think they did really well on the meats. They didn't have the best brisket or best ribs, but I think the 3 together are just about the best. A lot of places can't do well on all 3. Albert Gs did well on all 3. The potato salad was nice and creamy. The slaw was delicious. They also have a pickle bar. Nice touch. They win the sides battle. I don't use much sauce, but I really liked their sauce. The chocolate pecan pie is good. Yeah, I ate a lot. The service was friendly and outstanding. The decor is really nice. I would eat here anytime. Great job 👏 👍

I was very impressed with this place. Love the concept: bbq and bourbon at fair prices. Big bar filled with great bourbons. The nachos were a perfect pre dinner bite but there could’ve been a little more brisket on them. If I lived in Tulsa I would be a regular here. Come to OKC!

Food is consistently good. Both mild and spicy sauces. Generous portions of side dishes. We typically split a platter with 3 meats and 2 sides. We've always had good service here. Don't care for paper towels for napkins or food on a baking sheet lined with paper but if it keeps costs down, I'm all for it.

Our 15th 'cue stop in Oklahoma, and the 398th nationwide, brought us to the Downtown location. On street parking proved easy at one in the afternoon, and the building was an architectural gem. Be sure and admire the ceiling here! The food had its ups and downs. We ordered a dozen wings, queso and chips, and ribs with okra and broccoli. Two refillable iced teas brought the tab to $55.34 plus a nice tip for good service. The ribs, with their rub leaning to the peppery side, were very good, and needed no help from either of the two sauces on the table. The broccoli was broccoli, but the fried okra was very well done and thoroughly enjoyed. We also liked the brisket queso, and intend to play around with this dish when we get home. Alas, the wings were dry and curiously lacking in flavor; it took generous dollops of the ranch dressing to redeem them. So, a mixed bag, with the ribs and okra solid choices-- and don't forget to pay a visit to the well organized pickle bar!
