Albertsons

Order a LIGHT pink, almost pastel cake with a brown border and gold writing. This is what I was presented. I ordered this cake 6 days prior to pick up and when I arrived they asked for 15 more minutes, which was fine. Except they came back and I was given this and already did not have the time to argue as we needed the cake for today. Otherwise it was a good price and tasted good but the only thing they got correct was the brown boarder. Pretty upset that this is what I have to present at the party :(

The prices here are great, and it’s such a clean store! The staff is kind and accommodating. Special shoutout to Cece in the bakery!! She was able to get us the cakes we needed on incredibly short notice and saved the day. I’d highly recommend.

A 5 minute drive from my friend' house is very convenient. I used to enjoy grosery in my neighbors but the one that I went out for has gone quite a while. So I miss the place ," Bash's" which gave us a better deal than the one I have just used !! The price is muc higher. Well that's what's been going on all around these days !!.

I love this pharmacy. The pharmacist is amazing! She is so good to me every time, so helpful. She really goes the extra mile for her customers.

Great selection of food. It WAS the only place to sell single large bottles of propel water, but last time I was there, it said Clearance. Still a great store that has rare things my mom loves like little Debby mini banana nut muffins, and frozen crab cakes.

This Albertsons should be the example of what a grocery store should look like. It's so clean and organized! Sometimes, it looks so perfect it feels like you walked onto a movie set. Even the deli! Haven't had a single thing that was bad. All great!

The older male pharmacist is rude!!!! I refused to use this pharmacy because the guy has been so rude on different occasions.. My wife likes the pharmacy for its location but this guy is arrogant and has zero social skills. I received a message saying my prescription was ready for pick up. I went up to the counter and was told the fantastic pharmacist was still putting it together. Then they said nothing. Is it going to be 5 min, 10 min how long or do you want me to keep asking and getting that look like im bugging the guy. If your that unhappy at your job quit. It shows

Reminds me of a Family Fare and D&W located in Grand Rapids, Michigan due to similar store aisle setup. All items needed was easily found throughout the store without asking for assistance. Love how they keep customers on the right side and cart on the left similar to Costco approach. Staff is friendly. Overall a great experience from an out of towner.

We made a stop at Albertsons for a candy bar. My friend needed a sweet bite. We found the candy immediately. She chose M&M peanut candy and Lifesavers wintergreens. The store was well stocked. Workers at the self check out area offered help to those needing it. That was all that was needed. Shared parking and Wi-Fi in the store.

FINALLY!!! I know Albertsons is related to Safeway but at least they were fully in stock of the items I wanted! Plus the store (just like Safeway and UNLIKE fry's) was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Thank you Albertsons for saving the day for my girl and for saving me MORE gas trying to find exactly what she wanted which was Signature Select Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream! Oh, and they had some for me as well!

Francisca at the customer service counter is an absolute terrible person the way she talks to her coworkers and treats customers is absolutely unacceptable. had a simple return and she made me feel like I was stealing something ended up giving me a gift card which is fine. So later, as I'm doing my shopping I forgot bread which is located by the front door as I make my way back to the entrance guess who run into Francisca she stares at me like I'm about to run out of the store and the only thing in my basket is two 24 packs of water. Hope she can retire soon and be miserable at home by herself instead of trying to ruin others day.

Stopped in here to pick up some corn that was on sale for a weekend picnic. 8 ears of corn for a dollar and it was delicious! Tender and sweet just the way corn should be. Back to the review of the storethough. I think this chain in general might be one of the more overpriced grocery stores in the valley. If you're not buying something on sale there you are paying way more than you should typically. Another thing, it was about 12:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon and the store was pretty crowded and they had one check out open. The self checkouts were open but there is one check out with a person working at it. I think they opened another one because they saw how many people were standing in the line that I was in. Unfortunately all you can say about Albertsons is that it is probably a good store for running in to get that one item that you needed but you better really plan your shopping a little more carefully so that you can save some money at other stores.

it was fairly clean the day we went. It's been a while, but definitely a good neighborhood choice.

I like Albertsons in general and this complaint is more for the digital coupons. They work maybe 50% of the time. It's so bad I've started to take pictures of the items so when the discount doesn't appear, I can show the person at checkout so they can adjust it. Not sure whose job it is to keep these things updated but I'm sure so many people don't even pay attention and get ripped off all the time. Probably not going to shop at Albertsons anymore. Always leaving irritated

albertsons on val vista university ,, where do i begin the store dirctor rafael told me after the new year i could work there re origanization of employees never got a call until i called him no place for me in a rude manor .lies from a store director , This has to stop store directors acting like leaders but they are are useless.

We love this location. Specifically, the deli. Always fast and friendly service. We only get our lunch meats from this counter as I know they will always slice the meat as thin as we need without a hassle. The cashiers are also kind with a good attitude.

Got to love standing around at register while employees stand around talking to each other. 3 employees clearly saw me. They hoped i would give up and go to self checkout, which I would have as this pretty typical of the service you get. Sadly i had alcohol so I couldn't. No wonder they can't survive on their own and desperately want a merger. Keep up the good work

This review is for the Pharmacy over the weekend of July 8,9 2023 On Sat July 8th neither the Rx tech or the Asian lady pharmacist would make a simple phone call to their other location so that I could get one of my drugs filled. Just because both of them speak some version of English does not mean that they will actually listen to the customer without letting them finish what they have to say. Absolutely horrible people & customer service skills from both of them. So I stop by in person on Sun July 9th with paper in hand proving my point that one of my prescriptions should be filled and a different pharmacist would also not make a simple phone call to their other location to verify what I was saying to her. And to think that the paper that you give customers with their filled Rx's says "WE ARE HERE TO HELP" ....

Deli rocks, however the heavy set kid in self checkout today was a smart ass when I asked if he could help me ring up my deli wings, do you're incredibly easy job.

I love Albertsons! Been shopping here for over a decade. I love their selection. My favorite is the steaks ànd the produce. I hope they stay separate from Kroger!

I was really excited that Albertsons had their $5 Friday on the 10th and they had everything out I was able to grab everything that I needed the store look nice and stocked and clean keep up the good work Albertsons

I never buy Thousand Island Dressing and was craving it. So I popped in to this Albertson location to grab some. I get home and am making my salad and go to open the top when I see the "best used by" date of September 2018! Not worth the trek back to the store to return. Just watch for expiration dates/best used by dates. I wonder how many unsuspecting people have bought this and used it? Oh by the way it is Feb 2019. Gross!

I go here because the one closed that I used to go to in Tempe. I love the people the manager Jerry and all the workers are great! Entire Staff are Absolutely lovely and wonderful helpful kind. The store itself is old!, it doesn't have enough stuff in it and lastly everything is locked up!!!!! You can't get anything in the make up department & more!! You have to go get somebody to unlock it and then they do FINALLY they bring it up front! Then by the time you're finished shopping you totally forget about it! The EVERYTHING BEING LOCKED totally sucks the store itself is old and crappy they never had enough Dannon yogurt. Other than those things, it's a GREAT STORE!

I went to this store on a whim, I was close, I needed a few things, so I pulled in. Never again!! Walking in the one and only electric scooter by the carts was held together with duct tape, thank God I was walking! I feel bad for who ever had to use that to get around. Immediately upon entering I heard a loud conversation, not bad, just loud. It was two male employees talking about their nightly exploits. Definitely not a conversation for the front of the store. The prices here are outrageous! I know prices are high, but these are beyond anything I have seen anywhere else! And the quality was crap! I got two bags of chips and a bag of pretzels and all three were absolute crumbs!! Worst shopping experience ever!

Great service from the hot box manager and checkout person. We live a ways from Albertsons so don't go there often but this is the only Albertsons we prefer. The store is clean and attractive and they are well stocked. Every employee we have met is friendly and helpful.

I have shopped here out of convenience for over a decade. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Selection is above average, but so are prices. Much better value and selection at Walmart.

My son saw this cake in the display last week and begged for it for his birthday. I called yesterday evening and they made it white cake with strawberries in the middle and whipped cream frosting! And they said they could have it ready by today at 5pm! It was delicious and you'd never know it was that on the inside! When it was in the display it didn't have "French Fries and Ketchup" on the side. So whoever added that on, it was amazing!! Thank you to the bakery! You guys are amazing!!!!

This is our go to grocery store as it's conveniently located near our house. Layout- 4 stars. Typical Albertsons layout. Wells Fargo Bank- 5 stars. Another convenience is banking at Wells Fargo and having it in our go to grocery store. The bank by far has way more tellers than the grocery store and no waiting like at BOA I used to bank at. Indoor ATM I use and skip the counter. Customer Service- 5 stars. I've always received friendly, courteous help from the baggers to the butcher. The GM's will come out and open lanes when packed and always jovial. Cleanliness- 5 stars. I hate to say it but I do judge a store by cleanliness of bathrooms especially anyplace dealing with food I may eat. Always clean. The store is well kept and orderly. Pharmacy- NA. It's in the store but I've never got a prescription from. But they always have 2-3 people working. Bakery- 5 stars. I love their pies. Can't comment on anything else. Deli- 5 stars. We get all our sandwich meat and cheese here. Adequate help and usually no wait. They will suggest sales on other brands of meat and nail my requests to within +/- .02 lbs every time. Butcher- 5 stars. We do buy the chicken breasts and bratwurst here frequently. Again, Fast and friendly service. Checkout- 2 stars. This is my only complaint with the store. They seemed to take a cue from Wal-Mart and never have enough checkout lanes open. Frustrating when you are buying a couple items and you are waiting in line for 10 minutes. Hope they take a cue from other stores and install self checkout lanes.

Albertson's...it's your store! I come here at least once a week, as it is conveniently located by Dobson Ranch and where I do my quick shopping, Red Box runs, fill my prescriptions, and do banking with Wells Fargo. The employees are always friendly. The pros: great prices, always fresh produce with a decent organic selection, and an overall easy store layout. The bakery has the most delicious cakes and my daughter gets a free cookie whenever she asks. The deli has great sales, yummy chicken wings, and also a whole rotisserie chicken for $5. Liquor and beer selection is great and the prices are cheaper than Costco or Sam's when they run sales! The pharmacy staff is very helpful and quick. They have a blood pressure machine for you to use, and usually there is never a line, so my blood pressure is always good haha! Wells Fargo is always a pleasure to deal with, they have the sweetest bank tellers, and it's less crowded than going to a main branch. I opened a junior checking account for my daughter there, so they can definitely do everything the regular WF banks can do. I love their seasonal specials, they always have beautiful florals and sweets for every occasion. They are my late night run for popcorn and a movie at the Red Box. Dang, I really do come here a lot! The cons: the building itself is old and the exterior is in dire need of a paint job. A lot of people smoke and loiter by the entrance, and their is a crazy amount of old gum on the sidewalk by the entrance. It drives me nuts! I feel like if they spruced the place up a bit, it would deter vagrants from hanging out under the awning by the entrance, which we have complained about before (swiftly addressed by the GM). The only good thing about this place being a little run down is that I don't feel bad about coming here in my pajamas lol Overall, I do love my local Albertson's.

All of the workers are nice. Things often don't ring up right and the app is not customer friendly at all. Stick with the paper coupons, sadly. Every time things ring up wrong you must wait in line again. Frys does a better job with their app and specials.

I am very disappointed with my flower purchase here for Mother's Day. I bought this beautiful bouquet of roses on Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning for Mother's Day my flowers looked terrible. Buying the upgraded bouquet didn't even last two days. I'm mostly upset because the flowers were so beautiful and in 36 hours they wilted in major disappointment. (See pictures)

I really like the store since the remodel. Overall great prices if you get what is on sale in the flyer. If you stray off that then you can end up spending way way more than you planned. The more "specialty" items tend to get pricey here and you'd be better off get those things at a Trader Joe's or elsewhere. The deli service has always been hit and miss for me but the prices are are much better than some of the other close grocery stores so it's still pretty worth it.

I use to enjoy coming here when I lived in Tempe it was only a 15 minute drive I loved coming here to get my groceries my cat wet food and cat litter they have the best bakery items the best amount of quality in the hot and cold service deli items it a very clean atmosphere very clean establishment very friendly helpful staff I hope to visit this location again in the future sometime great shopping experience great establishment I highly recommend to anyone looking for great groceries and great prices great experience I look forward to my next visit here in the future very clean restrooms very clean parking lot very great convenient grocery store very good great experience great good foods great deal on pet items and house hold items I love a savings

Ya, you still got all those toiletries and departments that I lauded in the first review. But, now that I've been here a bunch and use it as an actual grocery store, seeking meats and bread and jam and produce and all the things that make every day eating possible, I've gotten a better feel for things. It's just a little disjointed for my taste. The pharmacy is off in this little corner with all the pharmacy products. And what's up with the peanut butter? And the fruit juice? They just seen to be oddly placed, and the peanut butter and honey is off in its own lonely little planet. This is still a fine place to shop for your groceries, but it always seems to take me just a little too long. So it's not my number one choice.

My favorite!! It's a smaller neighborhood store!! We go to the butcher all the time and Aaron Is amazing!! So helpful and friendly!! True example of amazing customer service!!

I moved in area a month ago.i don't see no friendliness .the employees look mad..they don't welcome you.when I am at the self checkout they rush me when I go it's mostly after work.i don't like being rushed.

This store has good prices on many things, some much cheaper than Safeway and others equal to Fry's. It all depends on what you're shopping for. I prefer Fry's in my area of town though because the Albertson's by me ALWAYS smells like rotten fish and enough to make me hurl. This location just happens to be by my friend's apartment so whenever we need something we just run in here and get the items. Very easy to get in and out of and very good customer service.

This store has a lot of long time employees. It's nothing fancy but it has everything I need. They have good deals on meats. Buy one get one free and sometimes buy one get two free. The store could be a little bit more organized. I'm still getting used to the newest remodel where they moved the lunch meat and cheeses to a middle isle. Caprisuns and juice are still on the first isle with the produce.

This location has the friendliest staff and the store is always clean. I never skip the bakery section for the cutest cakes and fresh bread.

When traveling to this region, this has become a standard for us in being easily accessible, having the products we're usually looking for, best in quality and excellent customer service.

Never had a good experience here and the store is run down, prices are insane I wouldn't shop at Albertsons for anything go to Costco and save money

This is OUR store. Aaron in the meat dept. is our pal. Although, you could say the same about virtually all of their staff. A great place to shop, period.

This location was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I hadn't been in an Albertsons in years, but I was so impressed by the store, its cleanliness, and most importantly their employees. Tanner was so friendly and helpful when I asked him a couple of times where specific items were. Debbie, in the deli was such a sweetheart, so outgoing, and she directed me to an item I am in love with now-the cranberry jalapeno dip with cranberry and pumpkin seed crackers. They are delicious, and I never would have looked at these items without her. I will be using this store from now on, and I will tell my friends about the store. I felt so good being in that store. Management is doing an exellent job!

This is my neighborhood grocers. I used to shop elsewhere until I moved to the south side of Dobson Ranch. Glad I switched. Prices are much cheaper and they have better sales. To top it off, the employees are super courteous and fun to chat with!

I usually shop at Albertsons as it is close to my house. Employees are very helpful and friendly. One of my issues with this store (mesa on baseline) is items frequently ring up wrong and is a hassle to try to correct. If you even noticed. Requires studying your receipt before leaving the store. Also am wondering if they are trying to compete with Costco...so many sale items require you to buy multiples of the product to get sale price. I don't need that much!! So I pay a pretty high price for one item. Guess I should drive a little farther to Walmart!

Worst service ever. Waiting to check out with three items and it is literally taking every cashier 20 minutes per order to check out. Seriously regret even coming here. Not sure how they are a legitimate business.

It's fine for a huge grocery store but I still prefer the smaller stores like Trader Joe's, Fresh and Easy, Sprouts, etc. My daughter and I have come in here about three times since I've been in town to use my Wells Fargo account to cash her work checks. It's handy that they have the satellite branch of WF inside the Albertsons.

Bummed it doesn't carry the higher end baking chocolate that I use, but eh...can't have it all, can I? This store is definitely a bit on the older side and not brand spankin' new like other grocery stores. It does the job all right for being the closest one, but when I feel like I need a bit more variety and am stifled in my choices, I go to Fry's a bit further down the road.

I have been shopping there for years and everyone is already friendly and professional. Fruit is usually the freshest I can find.

I watched the associate empty the recycling bags from the receptical for shopping bags. And as I was waiting for my prescription, I walked to the back of the building since it is so close to my reflexologist to see what the wait time was for a mani-a-curry or if I could make it for later in the week. Low-and-behold what did I see from the corner of my eye; the same associate dumping the recyclable bags in the garbage dumpster. So tell me what is the use of him dumping them in 1 container than the hundreds of people who recycle their bags? ? But I do give him credit as he did look around first. That changed my whole outlook on Albertsons recyclable program.

This store is so dirty and old. Very outdated! I wish they would clean up the parking lot there's always trash around and the sidewalk has old gum all over it.On the other hand the staff is very nice.

holy crap is this expensive! And no organics. and it smells! wow. fail. No sale items to speak of. No self check out. Long lines. Small selection of healthy food.

Wow they made up some policy about dollar amounts being too high because I wanted to exchange a $30 bottle of vitamins for a $15 bottle of vitamins and an even exchange for another flavor of magnesium gummy's...WITH A RECEIPT ... and they said I had to come back when the director, not the two managers that were on site, but when the DIRECTOR was there the next day. I'm boycotting Albertsons... we're talking a net of $15 here , I see why they are struggling to keep up with the frys and other, customer service minded stores. Wow, pathetic display of service. I'm telling everyone ...Albertsons is garbage! Such a high dollar amount my arse! They will step over dollars to save dimes I guess.... sad that the managers or directors care more about their bottom line which I know my transaction would not of changed A point to their percentage but hey, hope it was worth it because They're probably going to lose a lot of business over the amount of people I'm going to tell about this
