Alchimy

A beautiful, chic and luxurious hotel in a perfect spot: quiet but very close to the centre. The room was stunning with a huge bathroom concealed by a mirrored sliding wall. Great food and outstanding service by charming bi-lingual staff.

We had lunch today and the food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The new decor in the restaurant is beautiful. Thanks for a fabulous lunch.

A very good family lunch. Excellent service and food. Atmosphere a little lacking as we were sat behind a waiter stand.

We had lunch, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We tend to choose the Alchimy for 'special occasions', because it still retains a 'special' ambience in terms of the surroundings, the quality of service and food. On this occasion we had an excellent lunch - high quality ingredients, well-served with imaginative but not fussy presentation. The wine, from the impressive wine list, with a good choice by the glass (which makes a change from something squirted out of a wine box), was excellent - it is nice to have wine properly served, at the correct temperature. So, we continue to recommend the Alchimy restaurant and will certainly enjoy returning on our own, and with family and friends. One thing we would like to say: the service is very good - friendly and efficient .... on this occasion, and the previous occasion, it felt more informal, which was fine and we like that - but don't go too informal; and while the restaurant was fairly full, it was not crowded and yet there was a bit of a feeling of being rather stressed (this was very noticeable on our previous visit) - please be careful with this, for while clients should be empathetic when staff are working hard, they do not want to be caught up with stress - we come to be relaxed. We have eaten in France for many years and we realise how challenging the business now is - and the Alchimy remains one of our favourite places and we hope it can retain what makes it special.

The hotel is well located in downtown Albi . Great service from the moment you enter. Rooms are very well decorated and immaculate! Has its own parking ! The food at the restaurant is very good . Breakfast is not abundant but tasty. Definitely recommended!

The Alchimy Hotel is a very fine hotel. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are very comfortasble. The food is excellent. I would certainly stay there again if I were to return to Albi.
