The 25 Best Restaurants In Berlin - Berlin - The Infatuation

"Berlin has a few great Syrian restaurants, namely Schöneberg’s Malakeh, set up by Syrian refugees who settled here during the war. Another of these is Aleppo Supper Club—a popular spot on Wühlischstraße that serves up vibrant plates of tabbouleh salad and vine leaves stuffed with Aleppo-spiced rice. Skip the dips and head straight for the makluba and kabsa rice dishes piled high with almonds, cashews, aubergine, and pomegranate seeds, and served with minced lamb or mint yoghurt. What makes Aleppo Supper Club even more unique is its proximity to Hops & Barley brewery, meaning you can get their beer delivered to your table from next door. This, and the rows of streetside benches, make this the perfect summer evening spot, where you can down pints and pick at your leftovers until you ultimately decide to continue on the night at one of Berlin’s many bars." - olivia ladanyi

The 38 Best Berlin Restaurants | Eater

"This cozy Syrian bistro just off busy, bar-hoppy Boxhagener Platz may serve Berlin’s best hummus. It’s creamy and garlicky, with just the right amount of lemon tang, and the version with toasted nuts is a particular highlight. The rest of the menu focuses on specialties from the city of Aleppo, such as pomegranate salad or kibbeh with tender meat and crispy bulgur. Meze are a big focus, so bring a group and order the whole menu." - Tim Forster

Google
Unbelievable food! I love Middle-East flavours, but these guys brought the dishes of Aleppo Supper Club to another level! As a vegetarian, I was in the heaven for the entire duration of the dinner. I don’t need to add that I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Very delicious food! There is also enough choice for vegetarians. Every dish is an incredibly beautiful ceramics piece.

This is the kind of restaurant you want to come back to again and again. There is a variety of delicious food that is very reasonably priced and the service is incredibly warm and friendly. The hummus here is some of the best I’ve ever eaten!

Ordered the makluba vegan version for takeaway at the office. Tasted yummy but would have preferred the dish better with some yogurt as just the rice itself can feel a bit dry after sometime, perhaps another time. Will definitely visit again though!

Google
Super yummy, and always crowded for a reason! Super friendly service and the food looks and smells and tastes wonderful! We had a shakshuka and hummus with falafel and an eggplant dip. All amazing! 🤤 It's pretty crowded and loud inside though.

Amazing food. 2 starters, one Salat and one main dish was perfect for 2 people. Would not hesitate to go here again

Allepo Supper Club is an excellent choice if you are looking for a middle eastern fix. We had a feast (and definitely over ordered for two people, but I love middle eastern food and wanted to try everything I could). We ordered the falafel (which comes with hummus), pomegranate salad, Kabsa (rice dish), menazele (eggplant dish) and pickled vegetables. We also received a bread basket. The food was great! Everything had a good balance of flavour, the falafel were moist and tasty and the hummus had good dimension, you could taste the chickpea and the tahini cutting through. The pomegranate salad was a great, fresh and zesty palate cleanser to cut through the umami flavours of the other dishes. The eggplant dish was a little bland and could have done with a little extra salt, but this was the only dish I would say this about, everything else was seasoned excellently, including the rice which had a really nice nutty, middle eastern fragrance. I would recommend everyone try this restaurant at least once. The serving sizes were good and the price point was also fair. The staff were excellent, they all spoke English and were really friendly and kind. They joked with us and made us feel welcome. The reason I didn’t give five stars for service is because this venue is CASH ONLY ⚠️ - so bring some cash with you when you come. Atmosphere was nice, there was mood lighting, the music got a little loud at some points, but otherwise it was fine to hear everyone at the table. Bathrooms were clean.

Google
The mezze here is incredible. there's the makdous—baby eggplants cured in olive oil, garlic, and salt-- stuffed with walnut and pepper paste, then packed until plump and tangy-- which are soft, sour, and rich in the best way. But the star is pomegranate salad-- think finely chopped red cabbage with juicy pomegranate seeds for crunch and sharp-sweet pops of flavor, combined w/ creamy tomatoes .the effect is amazing- a layered tart, syrupy, sweet, bright, all in one.
