Absolutely loved this place! We tried five different dishes, and each one had a special place in my tummy. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were incredible. The service was super friendly and took the time to explain every dish. My favorite was the Opalia — the combination of shrimp, lemon zest, and delicious pesto was just perfection. The interior was elegant and chic, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit for pasta lovers!

Al3x Pasta Bar is an amazing place to eat in central Athens. Although they don't take reservations, we only had to wait 15–20 minutes for a table, and it was totally worth it! The cold Greek pasta is similar to Greek salad, but with pasta, and it's something you're going to love. As for the main dishes, everything was well represented and tasted delicious. We really loved the music and the restaurant's vibe, and it also has tables outside. The service was fast, friendly and well-trained, and the staff were happy to answer our questions and make recommendations. This place is a true gem and a must-visit in Athens, and we are looking forward to returning.

We visited this place on a Friday night. There was about a 20-minute wait, and then we were seated inside. I really enjoyed the handmade pasta each dish had something unique about it. The cocktail I had was good. What I didn’t like was the experience when we first arrived. We tried to ask about the table situation, but no one seemed to pay attention they just walked past us. However, once we were seated, our waiter was very friendly and attentive, which made up for it.

My favourite pasta spot in the world. Every dish is exceptionally flavoursome and creatively prepared. My partner and I genuinely could not choose a favourite, because each one was outstanding. The only drawback was the outdoor tables, which are slightly sloped. The glassware and plates kept sliding, and the table next to us even lost a glass because of it. Despite this minor inconvenience, it remains absolutely worth visiting. Please make every effort to stop by when in Athens, the experience is truly exceptional.

We had such a great experience at Alex the Fresh Pasta Bar! The pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We especially loved the pistachio pasta with shrimp ceviche, such a unique and delicious combination. The Castaway pasta, which seemed like their take on carbonara, was also amazing. Service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of their pasta dishes! 🍝

Excellent pasta bar. I visited twice while in Athens, a rare move for me. The Opal (pesto, pistachio, shrimp ceviche) was outstanding. Kind service and lovely atmosphere. Went for a late lunch and didn't have to wait for a solo seat.

If your going to visit Athens kolonaki area don’t miss this restaurant probably the best pasta experience !!!Everything was perfect the service the food the drinks!!! Very helpful personnel 🫶

I tried Alex the Fresh Pasta Bar in Athens and went for the Truffaki – pasta with parmesan milk cream, truffle oil, and truffle paste. The flavor was truly immaculate – rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection and the dish was served surprisingly fast, which was a nice bonus. That said, while the food quality was excellent, I was disappointed by the portion size. I ordered the small size, paid 13 euros, and it felt more like a tasting sample than a meal. For the price, I expected a bit more volume. Overall, it’s a great spot for serious pasta lovers or anyone who doesn’t mind splurging a bit for gourmet-level pasta. Personally, I wouldn’t go back because of the value-for-money issue, but I’d still recommend it to those who prioritize taste over portion size.
