I tried Alex the Fresh Pasta Bar in Athens and went for the Truffaki – pasta with parmesan milk cream, truffle oil, and truffle paste. The flavor was truly immaculate – rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection and the dish was served surprisingly fast, which was a nice bonus.
That said, while the food quality was excellent, I was disappointed by the portion size. I ordered the small size, paid 13 euros, and it felt more like a tasting sample than a meal. For the price, I expected a bit more volume.
Overall, it’s a great spot for serious pasta lovers or anyone who doesn’t mind splurging a bit for gourmet-level pasta. Personally, I wouldn’t go back because of the value-for-money issue, but I’d still recommend it to those who prioritize taste over portion size.
