"If you thought your trip to weird was over, think again. Welcome to Baker and the home of alien believers who also happen to make beef jerky. In reality, Alien Fresh Jerky is complete roadside fluff and we want all of it. There are little green aliens watching you everywhere, a “Galaxy Peace Patrol” vehicle parked out front, and good enough beef jerky to load up on inside. One has to pick and choose these types of places on a roadtrip but in the case of the amazingly kitschy Alien Fresh Jerky, we choose to stop. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"Do you like jerky and love aliens, but don’t have enough time to really dig into both interests? Then Alien Fresh Jerky is the roadside attraction for you. Luis Ramallo first opened this meat shop with his wife and eldest son in 2000, in Crystal Springs, Nevada, a few miles down the road from its current location. Now the store is located in Baker, California along I-15 between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Alien Fresh Jerky successfully lures hundreds of thousands of travelers a year, thanks to its commitment to the two most important pillars of the classic tourist trap: snacks and a kitschy theme. Alien Fresh Jerky is an immersive dried meat space experience, featuring a bold, rotating decor of seemingly endless alien and spaceship props. Jerkies range from the familiar to the out-of-this-world, including varieties such as “Abducted Cow Teriyaki,” “BBQ on the Moon,” and “Space Cowboy.” You’ll also find a wide array of hot sauces, plenty of souvenirs, and a man with vision. Inspired by the success of his jerky store and the legends surrounding the nearby Area 51, Ramallo believes that this whole alien thing has the potential to transform Baker from desert pitstop to ultimate alien destination. Ramallo has even envisioned a $30 million UFO-themed hotel, including themed rooms, fine dining, and retail opportunities. But, until the funding mothership swoops in for his cosmic project, we’ll have to be content with jerky. Know Before You Go Along I-15, between Los Angeles and Las Vegas" - F Findingbalance18, vampybunny, MarilynR, Avoiding Regret, Morten Kirk, Sorrel, SueB262, M Morten Kirk, Mathias Van de Velde, K KeeleyySpence, hana, WastelandNomad, jondi letnap, Lampshade1660, Findingbalance18

Stopped here for the first time in 40 years, and what a fun place it is to take a break when driving to or from Las Vegas. Looks like they're building something in the shape of a UFO outside of it, it's probably a hotel but might be a stadium. I don't eat meat, but people were loading up on the beef jerky, so it must be good.

Google
Nice alien themed shop in Baker. Has a big jerky and hot sauce selection to buy from. Lots of alien souvenirs, of course. It's a nice place to stop by if you're passing by.

Google
This is a unique location in the middle of the desert and a must stop, especially if you have small children. It is simply out of this world, which makes the experience so much better than your average store along the highway. Located in Baker, California, off the I15, the store has a large variety of standard convenience store items, shirts and hats, but our favorite items are all the extraterrestrial items that are there and just maybe, they are from another world, who knows. This location is great for young kids that will enjoy all the Alienware they will find here, even out in front of the store. If we had one complaint it would have to be the prices. Paying over $5.50 for a bottle of Coke is a little excessive even for alien soda and for that reason alone we can only give this location “4” stars.

Always wanted to stop here and finally did! Campy, fun little place with loads of alien inspired trinkets, drinks, and snacks. Another great place to stretch your legs on your way to or from Vegas - so grab some snacks and get back to where you're going.

Saw this on TikTok and I had to make a stop here!!! I love Aliens and all things space!!! Although it was a bit political inside I allowed my inner child to have the full experience!!! I purchased a Argo Pencil Holder, an alien space cowboy lanyard, and a Sheena Yellow Towel Poncho. Overall I loved it minus the political agenda!

Google
This place is so much fun! Jerky with alien! What a funny and crazy idea, but I love it so much! In the middle of desert, there is a huge tank with aliens! Many aliens welcome you inside the store. They got so many fun and weird stuff from outer space. Of course, I got jerky for my road! Always fun to stop by!

Google
Great experience, visiting this place. Great jerky bought a couple of bags very satisfied with the purchase and amazing flavors.

Google
It's a one street town with a fun place to stop for photos, which is also surrounded by the cool Southwest vibe around its premises!

Yelp
We have to stop here every time we're doing a Vegas trip. Mainly for the beef jerky (which is amazing), but also to check out the construction progress of the hotel and other weird things going on back there (that's what she said). THE FOOD ELABORATION. I know I just said the beef jerky was amazing and I would've taken a picture of it if we hadn't ripped the damn thing open as soon as we walked out of the place. - Choco Gummy Bears | Tastes like chocolate blueberries. The fun part is letting it sit in your mouth to melt the chocolate away and then eat the gummy bear. - Sunkist Fruit Chews | Chewy with big sweet sugar crystals. - Sweet & Spicy Beef Jerky | The best of both worlds, this beef jerky hits the spot. The beef jerky itself is not too tough to bite into, but it's beef jerky, so expect some chewiness. I also bought an alien purse, mug, and quartz crystal because I'm weird.

Amy M.

Yelp
My husband has a thing for this place and must stop on the way thru. They have a lot of unique things and it's a pretty interesting place to stop if you need to stretch your legs or a snack but it most definitely is overpriced! It's always crowded too! For me, it's a check it out once kind of thing for the experience then skip it, but my husband loves it, so we stop when we are in the area.

Dee G.

Yelp
Came in because I love aliens , love the look. It's super cute. They do have a lot of different things inside, from sauces to crystals to shirts everything you can think of. But it's expensive. The beef jerky was weird. It didn't feel hard but when you chewy it, it was hard. The taste was not it. Over all 0 stars. The shot glass is pretty heavy. I like that. And nice design. The lil alien maga was hilarious! I had to get it. Super cute. But it was honestly too expensive.

Ric H.

Yelp
The Good Beef Jerky from Space , The Bad employees are rude , non attentive , late all employees shoes up late 20 minutes

Juanne D.

Yelp
Worst experience of my life. I'd never spend another dollar here. Taste disgusting. Three out the entire bag we bought.

David X.

Yelp
Nice stop between LA & Vegas. The main store is interesting and has plenty of fun photo opportunities. There does seem to be a few things outside that are under construction. The jerky is hit or miss depending on what flavors you go for. Though, giving a friend with the ghost pepper version is always fun.

Bay M.

Yelp
Nice little pitstop in Baker on the way to Vegas. Could use this stop for a bathroom break & shop for snacks. Walls and walls of jerky in all different flavors. They range from $13 for 3.25 oz 3 pack to bundles for $35. Alien Fresh merchandise & small souvenirs. They seem to be building a UFO like structure in the back for additional attractions. Plenty of parking. Easily accessible to freeway on & off ramps. Clean restrooms. Cool little stop.

Yan W.

Yelp
okay... we stopped in Baker on Mars planet earlier this afternoon. What an interesting place to stop on our way back home! They have some alien themed souvenirs and overpriced beef jerky. They even sell invisible beef jerky! Lol I got their alien magnet as souvenir. Service was pretty fast. Any card pay (including Apple Pay) for minimum charge $10 or pay by cash. btw, the UFO hotel attraction is under construction. It's definitely a cool and fun place for some pictures! Yelp
Wow, this place definitely has changed for a little hole in the wall stop to a pretty cool attraction. We didn't have too much time but it looks like there was a museum or something in the back but it may have been closed or only open during the weekends, possibly. The jerky isn't the best I had but it's good. The name definitely makes it a good gift to hand out. There are little selfies with the aliens for this selfie folks out there. The building itself is like an alien rover craft. There were two alien vehicles you can take photos with as well. Lots of random trinkets for souvenirs. And it's a good pit stop if you have kids. Grab some drinks if you need to fill up your hydration for the next stop.

LeAndre A.

Yelp
I've been to this location over 10 times, so I decided to write a review. I've never had any issues with this place. There really isn't anything special about this place yet, as it's still under construction. I typically get the tequila lime pistachios and sometimes some beef jerky. I usually go here when I'm heading back home from Vegas. I recommend this place.

Sunny C.

Yelp
This is a fun pit stop. Nice store and clean restrooms. Lots of cool things inside the store to look at. We loved looking at the : - jerky selection - rock shop - honey selection - alien plushie selection - candy selection - alien souvenir selection It's easy to rack up $$$ here. Especially when there's no free samples so we just winged it. We purchased 5 different types of jerky and here's our review of them: Honey Teriyaki - the kid that loves honey loved this flavor, so it's hers Sweet & Spicy - On a scale of 1 to 5, it's a 3 in spiciness. The husband that loves sweet and spicy food loves this flavor, so it's all his. Pineapple Teriyaki - the kid that loves pineapple pizza loved this flavor, so it's all hers Road Kill - kind of bland, not much flavor, but the dog loves it Lemon Pepper - my favorite, just the right amount of lemon flavor, not very peppery. Everyone seems to like this flavor so I have to share. In the end, everyone walked away with a bag they love. The only catch, we have to finish the entire bag in 3 days. We also bought banana gummy candy (sooo good). Cute tin mint collectables, and 3 jars of avocado honey (this is a RARE find!!). It would have been a 5 star rating if the service was better. The line was long to check out and my two tourmaline got tossed in a bag with all the other items I got and they started chipping apart and there was tourmaline all over the bag. It should have been wrapped in newspaper or something but the cashier didn't care. Good thing I didn't buy any more expensive rocks or it could have really broke in the bag.

Kristen A.

Yelp
Cute little place to stop and buy some Jerky or souvenirs for the kids. There is lots of alien merchandise and a bunch of Jerky. My kids and babe loved the jerky. We bought 2 flavors Abducted Cow which is pineapple teriyaki - I didn't care for it, but my son loved it. Sweet Hot was the 2nd flavor, and it had a little kick. 3/5 rating from me. Bought a couple of cute alien souvenirs. The cashier was friendly.

Angel H.

Yelp
This place is so cool. It's like being stuck in the middle of nowhere with these aliens. If you haven't been here before you should make it one of your stops if you're driving from LV to LA. It's actually a convenience store where you can pick up drinks and snacks. They're known for their beef jerky. They have many different flavors. I picked up lemon pepper and honey teriyaki. They also sell a lot of candy. I also got the chocolate covered sunflower seeds.

Jake W.

Yelp
Tourist trap. Subpar jerkies and subpar service. Gimmicky store name to attract lame clients like myself to stop by. I would save my gas and go elsewhere. Gas stations around here are also high. More reason to avoid this place.

Tish W.

Yelp
Okay y'all who goes to Vegas and doesn't stop at the Alien Jersey stop. Iconic... service is always great ambiance is all about the aliens. This place has really changed over the years. It looks like they are actually adding some stuff to the back. We all know the Jersey is delicious. Just finished my pineapple teriyaki. Delicious. 3 small bags for $20 or 2 large bags for $20. If you're headed to Vegas definitely a nice stop to get out and explore.

Kasey Y.

Yelp
Great stop off either on the way or coming from Vegas if you live in LA or are passing through Baker. Their jerky is moist and sticky - not leathery or dry in the least. Have a great selection of flavors to choose from. Also they have a wide variety of specialty drinks, hot sauces, and alien related merch. Definitely worth a stop in Baker for some great jerky and fun novelty stuff.

Alma L.

Yelp
Super cool spot. Rude cashiers. Not sure what is opening next to it. Since when we tried to ask the cashier she was so rude about it. Hopefully the other staff isn't so rude once they open.

Melinda B.

Yelp
My 1st time stopping here. I wanted to stretch my legs and get some jerky - I was told was the best here and it didn't disappoint! This store is super cute Aliens and picture opportunities everywhere! Great selection of snacks inside as well as other various souvenirs. The staff was friendly and the store was clean and organized. I will definitely stop here again the next time I visit Las Vegas .

Sabrina S.

Yelp
It's become a tradition that every time my family drives to and from Vegas, we make a stop here for root beer and jerky. While the other buildings around this peculiar alien attraction seem to change each year, this place remains constant. However, this year, we noticed a giant alien spaceship being constructed directly behind the main shop. It turns out they're planning to build a spaceship-themed hotel. Although I'm unsure when the hotel will be completed, my family and I will likely continue our tradition of stopping here. The staff is friendly, and the jerky is decent.

Mark L.

Yelp
After nearly two years without a trip to Las Vegas, my family and I will finally get to go this three-day weekend. Our first destination was Alien Fresh Jerky, where I noticed a new structure in the back. My family and I like this location since it allows us to snap lots of photos, buy alien souvenirs and get fresh beef jerky. This is a must-visit location whenever we travel to Las Vegas. Hopefully the building at the back will be occupied the next time we visit.

Easton T.

Yelp
I stop here every time I'm heading to Vegas. Lots of snacks to choose from and some of the best jerky I've had. Just wish they had a little more in the bag.

Sal H.

Yelp
This place has become a must-stop spot on the way back from Vegas. I enjoyed this visit as I had the whole family with me and I was able to introduce my youngest to the Aliens. She had a blast and of course, all the kids loved the candy selection. The prices are reasonable and there are many unique gift items and souvenirs.

Laurence Y.

Yelp
To be fair their fresh jerky is smooth and tasty but it is way overpriced. The weight of the jerky in ounces is so light and it is $20 for 2 . All stuff is pricey, perfect example is their Gatorade for $5 each. Look at my receipt, I paid $67 for only 9 items. I wont go back.

Violy M.

Yelp
This needs to be on your list of top 10 tourist trap attractions!!! Step into another galaxy as you enter this joint. The souvenirs are out of this world!!!! Take a couple of selfies with the martians and cop a couple of packets of alien jerky. Alien meat just doesn't get fresher than this!!! I just wish they sold alien cowboys hats from outer space or alien shaped sunglasses. Your homegirl, Violy

Angelica L.

Yelp
Overall: 3.9/5 Like everyone said, it's a tourist trap. It's a cool place to stop by and take pictures but everything inside the store is overpriced. They do have a lot of interesting items or flavors I've never seen elsewhere so that extra $ is for the unique variety. 3.25 Oz Honey Teriyaki Jerky ($12): This had good flavors but the jerky is a bit hard. Definitely not worth nor the best jerky I had. I honestly think the Golden Island Korean BBQ pork jerky is better. Peanut Brittle Candy ($5): Tastes as it sounds. The brittle isn't overwhelmingly sweet and is balanced out by the peanut taste. Tequila Pistachios ($6): The shell is coated but I didn't taste tequila. It tastes more like the salt lime rim you get on a tequila. The pistachios are good though.

Lauren B.

Yelp
I used to love their jerky. My family has been buying their jerky before they even had a proper storefront . But their jerky sucks now. The quality has gone down significantly over the years(and they got rid of varieties) and is not even better than generic store bought jerky anymore. Extremely overpriced but they have a nice bathroom and that's why they get 2 stars instead of one. They are just a cute themed rest stop for me now.

mia k.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never left a review for this spot, it's been around forever and I just have stopped here half a dozen times over the years driving to Vegas. This last time I was quite surprised and impressed with the changes! The jerky is delicious, each and every one I've tried over the years. I love the variety of fun sodas and kick ass brand hot sauces and other stuff. Looks like they're adding on a gun alien space ship in the back, so that will be a fun thing to experience when it's open. Staff is friendly and great as well. Definitely stop here if you're driving though.

Lynnann W.

Yelp
This makes my heart happy! We rarely go to Vegas but when we do - this is a must stop. I was ecstatic to see the mother ship's construction is well on its way, as well, it's supporting logistical buildings. In all seriousness, the future alien hotel/attraction/whatever it ends up being is well on its way to completion! Inside, it has been remodeled; a few additional products added. Always entertaining! The staff are always available to help and appreciate it's always staffed well. Lastly, probably most importantly, they have tasty jerky!

Jenna C.

Yelp
Every time we go by this place, it seems to have gotten bigger with more decorations and massive buildings. My hubby absolutely loves the variety of choices for jerky here as he loves trying wild and new flavors. He loves everything from habanero to teriyaki. We've even tried weird jerkers like alligator and rabbit (personally not a fan). The workers are always nice and helpful. My only complaint, no bathroom, which if you are traveling back and forth between Vegas and California that's a real bummer. Intesting fact: they are building a UFO hotel in the back and a food place.

Kymberly M.

Yelp
If you are a jerky fan, you must stop here. Huge assortment of flavors. You believe we're not alone, grab all-things-alien! Also can find mainstream beverages and unique sodas and ciders. Definitely a place you can say..."I've been there!" Stop in for a snack or souvenir.

Essie D.

Yelp
The jerky was the most digesting jerky that I ever ate, my husband and I both tried it and neither of us liked it. We ended up throwing the jerky away. The place is really neat though, we loved the alien theme.

Tom G.

Yelp
Touristy and nerdy in a silly way... Impressive expansion underway in back. Surprisingly busy and evidently a hotspot to rest on the drive between Vegas and Los Angeles. My daughter tried two varieties of beef jerky and declared... It's good. I thought it was kind of a moist and tender. Thin sliced and flavorful. What is not to like? Lots of silly things to snap pictures of making it worthy as a tourist shop that I have not stopped at in sometime. I'll probably be stomping again on my next couple of trips.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
We remember this place as a fun pit stop when we did a road trip back when our kids were still little. Our son in particular loved ufo and alien stories when he was younger. Back then it was just a small storefront with the old spaceship. Boy has it grown! I can't say this is the best jerky in the world or universe for that matter. But it's a fun stop between Vegas and LA when you need to get out of the car to stretch your legs. The alien theme is consistent down to switching out the Zoltor arcade Fortune Teller to an alien version that talks to you when you walk past. Lots of souvenirs and alien things to buy, other snacks beyond just jerky and a wall of hot sauces and beverages as well. The expansion is still being built but looks amazing. It looks like they are adding a small restaurant with alien head shaped pretzels as their specialty. We can't wait to come back to try them!

Brenda S.

Yelp
My favorite pit stop on the way to Vegas. This is by far is one my favorite jerky; the Weed Killer is very spicy but not unbearable. The restrooms are clean, there are a variety of snacks and many cool souvenirs for the whole family.

Rachel S.

Yelp
This place looks really cool on the outside! Totally a cool place to stop by between long drives and take the kids. They have jerky, claw machines, music, other souvenirs and much more. They have big rocks you can touch as well so that's are cool to look at as well as buy. Everything is alien, obviously so a cool place for kiddos. The jerky is pick and choose. We got two (which they had/have a deal for!) one was chewy and tender and the other was hard not as tender. Still good flavors though. I'd say come here to take a break from driving but also as a cool stop. It's located next to the biggest thermometer as well so you can check out that too! The cashier isn't much for conversation though and seemed like she just wanted to get the day done with so that kind of sucked but thankfully the guests were chatty and joking so it kind of saved the last of our trip here. Everything is great except the service, she also doesn't answer any questions you have so you're just going to have to know everything about the store before you go. (Totally kidding) but that's the reason for the missing store. Can't wait to go back and update my review

Magda G.

Yelp
If you're driving in or out of Las Vegas from California, this is a spot to stop at. It's our second time here and it's now our tradition to stop in because it's a fun spot to get out and look around at all the inspired alien trinkets they have. It's kind of like you stepped into a store if aliens exist. They have alien mugs, alien jerky, alien souvenirs, and all the goodies. Their jerky is really good. The ones we've gotten have been really tender and moist. It is well stocked and it gets pretty busy in there but the workers are pretty quick through the line. It's located right off the freeway with easy on and off. You can't miss it. It's shaped as a big spaceship.

Tommy V.

Yelp
TOURIST TRAP FOR SURE BUT SUPER COOL! We stopped in Baker on our way home from Vegas and had to go inside this place and check it out. I've had the jerky in plenty of stores around Southern California but never been to the home of it. Everything here is overpriced, but the jerky is worth almost every penny. I personally love the sweet and spicy. They say the honey teriyaki is their best seller and it is delicious but I like a little bit of bite in my jerky. The ghost pepper stuff will burn you up if you are into that sort of damage. Anyhow, pics attached. Staff was friendly. Lots of stuff to waste your money on here and they have an absurd amount of different hot sauces for sale. Get at ot! Worth a stop for sure. Camt wait til they build the hotel!

Tanya B.

Yelp
Great place to stop between so cal and vegas. A nice little rest point to stretch your legs , get in a few chuckles, and get some drinks and snacks. The bathrooms are clean and the ac is on. We got the sweet and spicy beef jerky and the peach ramune (Japanese soda in the glass bottle). The jerky was tender and delicious and so was my drink . Overall such a cute shop with a funny concept and cool gifts and all sorts of snacks like dried fruits and nuts etc.

Rosabell M.

Yelp
The Alien Fresh Jerky shop is a one-of-a-kind destination that's truly out of this world! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly staff and a clean, inviting atmosphere. The shop's decor is unlike anything you've seen before, with an array of alien models that add a fun and quirky touch to the experience. And let's talk about the jerky - they offer an impressive selection of all kinds of flavors, perfect for satisfying any jerky craving. Whether you're a fan of aliens or just looking for some delicious snacks, this place is a must-visit. It's a unique and memorable experience that you won't soon forget!

Gary I.

Yelp
Want jerky made by aliens from Area 51? Then Baker, California has an extra terrestrial space station complex brimming with mostly jerky and chile hot sauce. Two Alien Fresh Jerky for $20. Not a deal, but what the hell? Space Alien paraphernalia such as hats, t-shirts, sweat shirts, stuffed toys, lanyards, candies, soft drinks, etc.  Not wanting dust gathering tschotchkes,  I bought Alien Fresh Southwest Hot Beef Jerky that had a salty-sweet, moist, softer texture with a good slow yet powerful chile induced burn. Ingredients included Japanese Teri Yaki sauce, and it's Southwestern???  Well, why not?  Looks like an on going expansion is  underway with a fast food flying saucer space station and a huge building that has a temporary sign about a new family center of some sort. "NOTE: There is something else you should know about Alien Fresh Jerky human, every single slice is hand-made in America, by Americans with 100% American steak. No fillers, trimmings, scraps, "beef dust",  glues, or any other "shortcuts" have been used to produce our mouthwatering jerky."  I support U.S. made products employing fellow Americans.  Heard from a reliable source that years ago Alien Fresh Jerky attempted to buy the property housing the World's Tallest Thermometer and tear it down instead of refurbishing back to its former glory.  This short sighted move would have wiped out a Baker landmark. Thankfully, the original family that constructed the thermometer recovered the property and renovated the iconic structure.     Alien Fresh Jerky is a Total Tourist Trap, but it is part of the Baker Trinity....Temp 134 Gift Shop hosting the World's Tallest Thermometer and The Mad Greek Taverna which has good Pistacchio (pees tah kee oh) Baklava pastry.   Good place to stretch your legs between Las Vegas and Los Ángeles. Cash Only as of early January 2023.  3+ stars.

Angel B.

Yelp
This past year I've been to Vegas 5 times. This is a must stop to stretch your legs, use the bathroom and get some snacks. Tons of merchandise here. The jerky is just okay. Nothing spectacular. They do offer more flavors than most places. Service is friendly and there are tons of photo ops. If your heading back home from Vegas this is just a fun stop if you like aliens and weird stuff.

Conor B.

Yelp
After passing this place for over a decade, we finally decided to stop and roam around. It's definitely a fun little road side attraction & a good place to stretch and use clean restrooms on your route to & from Vegas, but beyond that, it's somewhat of a disappointment. I was really looking forward to a wide range of jerky. They have maybe 10? A Dozen? That's it. And they just repeat those flavors over and over and over again along the walls. And they are absolutely charging a premium for them! It's fine jerky, but not something I will be willing to pay the upcharge for in the future. So if you want to experience something 'fun' for the kids (or the inner kid) check this place out. They're currently building "the mother ship" outside. I don't know if that's going to be a restaurant or more retail or what, but once that is done it will be yet another thing to kinda roam around. But, if you're looking for a cheap snack break, you might want to just keep on driving.

Betty H.

Yelp
I love this place! Aliens, aliens, and aliens. Tons of alien stuff! Books to keychains to food. Everything was so cute and interesting. Tons of alien photo opps. I think they are building an alien hotel right outside. So fun. This is a must see for alien fans!

Liz T.

Yelp
This place was so hokey and touristy and fun! Reading the names of the jerky flavors has me laughing out loud. The whole concept is brilliantly executed! It's a great spot to get out, shake off the road bum, stretch the legs, get some good jerky!

Janay H.

Yelp
This was a pretty cool place. So much stuff to see. Hot sauces, jerky, and aliens. The employees were chill and inviting.

Lupita L.

Yelp
Great spot for tourists ! Must stop on the way back from Vegas ! Kids love taking pics with the aliens But we best be careful nowadays cuz you know they're coming :D lol not The jerky is what you get here. We like the teriyaki & the sweet and spicy. LSt time I went they were 2 for 20 when b4 that they were 3x21 now 3 x38 !!! WT! Well let me know if you stopped by & if it was worth it

Don't waste your money! The absolute worst jerky I have ever had!! Grabbed 4 flavors while passing through and they are all fatty and gross with no flavor.

Yelp
Tourist trap. More so, drive through trap lol. We often drive to Las Vegas (my in laws love there) from San Diego at night so the kids sleep but for some reason we decided to do it during the day. To let the little out and stretch their legs, we decided to stop here. From the outside there's giant aliens and a neat looking building. My husband and I had never been there and decided to stop. I'm not sure what we were expecting, maybe some kind of small alien type museum for tourists in the middle of nowhere? Anyways we got the kids out and looked at the aliens outside, aliens in the car etc. I think we were expecting more of that type of stuff inside. It's just a store inside. Basically a ton of jerky, some honey, sodas, snacks, rocks/crystals and a bunch of alien merchandise like cups, shirts, stuffed animals. Unless you're in the market for random alien things or snacks, keep on going. The kids thought the stuff outside was neat. In the back there's another building that looks kind of like an old school theater ticket counter and some construction behind that. I believe they may be adding a small hotel back there but not close to being done at the moment. Anyways, I'm giving it 3 stars bc it was nothing I expected, nor other people (I heard a few more people walk in and say, oh it's just a store??) but it's fine as a little convenience type store if that's just what you need, then it's fine.

Yelp
The jerky is DRY and extremely overpriced. The jerky is so dry that it's practically INEDIBLE. One of my bags actually had MOLD but I didn't notice until I was far away. They clearly don't have high enough turnover to get fresh product. The flavors are also not very distinct from each other. On top of that, I learned that this business DOES NOT WELCOME ASIANS. I do not support RACISM against anyone so I won't be coming back. The only thing this place has going for it is stale photo ops that haven't changed throughout the years. They also have a restroom but it's very tiny and unclean.
