My family and I cannot get enough of Alisha's cakes. Her tres leches is the best ever. We typically get the Oreo tres leches for our birthdays now. Everyone asks for Alisha's cakes for their birthdays. The cake is dense and rich so we usually serve smaller slices (but people will go back for seconds).

Got two tres leches - Red Velvet & Cookie Butter. Good ratio, cake to frosting. Not overly sweet either just the right amount.

The Italian was nice and refreshing! The money maker was the Oreo tres leches. HOLY. So good!

Alisha was very welcoming and super nice. She let my son & I sample a couple flavors of Italian ice until we figured out which ones we wanted. The Italian ice was so good! I also bought the peach cobbler cheesecake which is AMAZING!!! Omg!!! This place is definitely a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back.

Love coming here for the chicken wraps especially ! The chicken is grilled to perfection and the fresh ingredients they use just adds to it! The Italian ice always is good , especially the coconut one! The tres leches , the peach cobbler cheesecake , the parfaits and the caramel apple cheesecake are absolutely delicious! I recommend this place to all my friends and family ! ❤️❤️

This place is so adorable and everything is fresh. We got watermelon, kiwi, and lemon which were all Delicious especially the watermelon. We also got the churro cheesecake bites that were to die for! The woman was so sweet to give us a sample of some tomato soup, as well. Will definitely be a new regular!

Mindful Baking is all vegan pastries😋 Has hard to find vegan pastries like tiramisu, cheesecake and apple pie. Cozy location, big on flavor and cruelty free.

We came here right when they opened up. They were still getting everything ready, but were very welcoming and assisted us right away. Just like any Italian ice place, they have the popular flavors and they also have special flavors that they change around on a weekly or daily basis. I of course ordered my go to, strawberry and lemonade. The lemonade was sweet and sour, very addicting and the strawberry was used with real fruit. It was definitely refreshing. The Italian ice was delicious, and they have great service, they're just unfortunately on the pricey side compared to some other great establishments. Wouldn't mind returning on a hot day when in the area.

Super cute little spot! All natural italian ice! Fruit, sugar, and water! The person working there was super sweet and let me try all the flavors. All of them were great but I got raspberry and mango! Such a great combo! Everyone else got mango coconut which is the most popular combo! Outside they had some lawn chairs which was really nice since there were a lot of us! It was cool their cups and spoons were biodegradable! Would recommend for anyone looking for a refreshing treat to beat the heat! Happy eating!

Super cute little spot! The girl working there was super helpful and didn't mind and even encourage us to try the flavors. They all tasted really good and like actual fruit not just ice and sugar like most places. Need to go back soon and try the rest!

Little Lulu's is amazing! They have CBD-infused frui-shees (fruit slushees) and they are incredible! I haven't seen these offered anywhere else in the city. A very welcomed addition to Portage Park! They have delicious all natural Italian ice in lots of flavors with a somewhat rotating menu. You can split the flavors, which my wife and girls love since the combos are seemingly endless! Being Italian, I was a purist most of my life and would only eat lemon Italian ice. Then a tasted the coconut at Little Lulu's, and it changed my life forever! I cannot get enough of it! Thank goodness you can buy their Italian ice by the pint to take home. Worth noting are their sandwiches and soups, which are super tasty! All of the soups are homemade and may be better than your actual mother's haha. This place is a hidden gem!

Just checked this tiny storefront out for the first time this evening. Wow! The flavors were all outstanding (we tried lemon, raspberry, coconut, mango, strawberry, and banana) and the price is super reasonable. I hope this little place survives because it is our new summer treat spot.

Such a cute little shop in Portage Park. Bright and colorful with fruitful details. Delicious real fruit flavors that are not too common elsewhere like passion fruit, watermelon, coconut, kiwi and grapefruit. Fave is the passion fruit. They have bench seating inside and two bistro tables outside so you can enjoy your treat al fresco on a nice summer day. Always making a stop here when in there area.

Do the words, "best soup I ever tasted" mean anything? Because this is the best soup I ever tasted! I arrived ten minutes before closing when at most restaurants the food is getting stale and the staff is getting cranky. Not here. The lady was so nice as she rang me up, and when my wife and I tried the last cup of soup they had left, we were absolutely blown away by it. Tasted super-fresh. The flavor and seasoning was terrific. They shredded the chicken so that you got some in every bite. No disgusting oil or grease at the top. I mean, just perfect soup! That's the bottom line, it's just perfect soup. This must have been what the soup was like in that Seinfeld episode, only they're actually nice to you here. As for me, next time I get the flu, it won't be so bad because my wife will let me eat as much of this as I want!

SO GOOD! We had the coconut, passion fruit, and mango. All delicious. The coconut was coconut milky, not dairy milky, and had depth of flavor. Maybe that's weird to say but sometimes coconut flavor stuff tastes like sunscreen. But this tasted like fresh coco! Prices were reasonable. The location is adorable. I might have to go again tonight. (And this will mean something to .00001% of you, but if you know the ice cream place in San German, PR, on Calle Javilla down the hill from the Porta Coeli, this italian ice is almost just like it! TASTES JUST LIKE HOME! Fingers crossed for guanabana next.)

I cannot recommend Little Lulu's enough. I was searching for a sweet treat option that wasn't cake for my son's birthday party and someone in my neighborhood had suggested Little Lulu's. I had never been to her shop, but that will change immediately. The italian ice was THE BEST and by far the hit of the party. While the kids had mini cups, the adults had adult slushees that were delicious. Literally people at the party kepts saying how amazing it is. Will definitely be going to the shop and would hire again in a heart beat.

Just what the northside needed! A true Italian I've joint, with friendly service and cute ambiance. I've true the blood orange, coconut, & raspberry, all delish.

Went one time, the ice was really fresh and delicious. Place was clean and staff was friendly. There's seating outside (camp chairs) where you can relax and enjoy your purchase.

The Italian ice is delicious! I used to take my butt all the way to the park on Damen and Belmont to get their Italian ice. Super excited that they opened this spot right down the street from my house. The flavors are amazing. My fave is the coconut. Owner is super cool and the place looks great. I'll def be a regular here all summer!!

Today was my first time stopping into the small neighborhood spot. I have tried lulu's before from one of their carts at a farmers market but for some reason I think the Italian ice tastes better at their actual location. One of the best parts is that they sell Italian ice year round so no more having to wait for the right season to get your Italian ice fix. The lemon flavor is traditional simple and very flavorful. They also have many other flavors like mango, coconut, chocolate etc. They even give the option to add CBD to your order. There is an upcharge for it but if that's your thing you can get it here. They also sell drinks and sandwiches if your hungry and on the run. I will definitely return.

I've searched high and low for great Italian ice. A friend suggest this spot and I'm thankful she did. We've been going daily. My search is finally over. When I find a winner I stick with it. Every flavor they have is delicious. Their staff is really friendly too. Try it, you won't be disappointed

Came here over the weekend and WOW lemon and raspberry is my for sure favorite! Definitely worth a stop at on a hot day!

Simply one of the best spot for desert. Come and bring the family. Plenty of street parking. The sandwich's are pretty great too.

Put a trash bin, tables and chairs outside by the trees take orders from there. COVID TRAP INSIDE! My family thought it was good, however dirty inside. The woman runs the checkout and digs in the open containers to serve you with no gloves NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH OSHA. Grossed me out, especially when I seen her grab the pen from 5 different people. She gave samples to people whom handed it back to her again no gloves. Never seen her wash her hands. Didn't clean the 1table outside either. COVID OR HEALTH DEPARTMENT ISSUES FOR SURE. BE CAREFUL.

Adorable! Fun decor and colors. The owner was very wonderful and geniune. Tried the italian ice slushy and it was GREAT! You bet it's all natural! You can taste it! I'll be back and it won't take me long to fill out my rewards card! Don't miss this one!

I'm generally an "ice cream" person over Italian ice. But this place is up there with some of my favorite ice cream places. It's amazing. The flavors are so pronounced.

Being a vegetarian I was recruited to taste test the "Cute as a Cucumber" sammich at Little Lulu's Italian Ice shop in Portage Park. This sandwich was SO delicious with many different flavors and textures. What made it so interesting was the base was made of a mashed chickpea spread delicately seasoned. On top of that a thinly sliced cucumber salad made with fresh lime juice, garlic and perfectly balanced dill and other herbs. If that wasn't enough, it was topped with vegan cheese and spicy arugula then grilled to perfection. I had to take one home to my carnivore husband and he absolutely loved it!! I give it 5 stars because it was so good and I can't wait till I can sink my teeth into another one

This our favorite Italian ice parlor in the Portage Park and Jefferson Park area. Love all the variety of flavors the owners makes with natural real fruits. You will love all flavors and you can mix two different flavors together. Definitely a must try!

Love this little place! The flavors are great and I love the fact that all natural ingredients (vary rare nowadays) are used. My husband and I have tried lemon, coconut, passion fruit, guava, raspberry and watermelon so far. Can't wait to try the rest! The owner is also very nice. We showed up a little after closing time and she still took care of us. What a great way to treat her customers and show appreciation!

Little lulus has amazing Italian ice. It's a bit pricey for a mini but it's good. Especially a mango/pineapple combo. They have good fruity flavors too. It's a walkable distance. You can have it for a desert after pizza next door.you can also enjoy the sitting area either outside or indoors. Plus,the cups and spoons are eco friendly/biodegradable.

Italian ice is my favorite treat and I have been to almost all of the places in Chicago that serve Italian ice. Lu Lu's is my favorite. I particularly like the coconut and mango and for the first time, had their chocolate the other day which was outstanding. The flavors are great and the texture is perfect, not too hard or soft.

This Italian ice is legit, so good! The coconut is insanely delicious-strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, and lemon are damn good, too. I'm so happy Little Lulu's came to the neighborhood! Can't wait to keep trying more flavors!

I tried the Italian ice for the first time last year and I crave it all the time. It's so good!! I'm so happy they have a store now!
