All About the Cinnamon Review: Hip-Hop-Themed Cinnamon Rolls Take Center Stage in Sherman Oaks | Eater LA

"Hip-hop-themed cinnamon rolls take center stage at this family-run Sherman Oaks bakery from Lindsay and Lawrence McDonald and their 13-year-old son, Dominic, who built a following at pop-ups and Downtown’s Smorgasburg before charmingly reworking a former juice shop at Van Nuys and Ventura Boulevards. Most rolls use organic cream cheese icing; go for playful tributes like the classic Big Poppa cinnamon bun (named for Biggie Smalls), the LL Cool J topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s peanut butter icing, the Drake with thick swirls of icing and a vanilla Oreo cookie crumble, an Eminem piled with milk chocolate M&M’s, and Cardi B’s brioche roll with butter pecan sauce, cream cheese icing, and walnuts, with gluten-free cinnamon rolls available on a limited basis. Expect cream cheese frosting–covered desserts studded with Cinnamon Toast Crunch or morsels of mango sticky rice, settle into indoor or outdoor seating in the east-facing, sunlight-filled space to watch the Boulevard pass by, and take a moment to appreciate the centerpiece mural by Los Angeles artist Phill Bourque showcasing Tupac, Nipsey Hussle, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, and Lil Wayne." - Mona Holmes

The Biggest Los Angeles Restaurant Openings in September 2025 | Eater LA

"After five years at Smorgasburg and numerous pop-ups around Los Angeles, this bakery finally landed a permanent home in Sherman Oaks, founded by Lindsay and Lawrence McDonald, who moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles in 2020 and joined Smorgasburg in 2023. Expect rolls like the Cube (a tribute to Los Angeles rapper Ice Cube) filled with Oreo frosting and pieces, as well as the Notorious B.A.B.K.A., a riff on a chocolate babka." - Rebecca Roland

All About The Cinnamon - Review - Sherman Oaks - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"As the name suggests, All About The Cinnamon is a bakery dedicated to just cinnamon rolls (and also hip-hop). This  Smorgasburg vendor now has a dedicated shop in Sherman Oaks, where you’ll find a mural tribute to rap legends like Tupac and Nipsey Hussle, as well as decadent over-the-top cinnamon rolls riffing on their names, like the LL Cool J filled with peanut butter cups and the Missy Elliot covered in strawberry shortcake crumble." - Cathy Park

Every detail of this place is incredible. Lindsey, Lawrence and their staff were awesome to talk to. The vibe and the roots are clear and on point. I am an extremely reactive Gluten Free girlie and to find out Lindsey also developed an allergy was dope and from that, they created a Celiac Safe lineup at a different facility!! Tons of their rolls can be made GF like the Lil Kim (Fruity Pebbles) i DEVOURED. i would strongly argue that this place makes the best GF dessert in Los Angeles🤷🏽‍♀️

Dee J.

Google
Update: You won't find better cinnamon rolls anywhere else. They don't skimp on icing and the dough is soft and reasonably priced. Worth the trip + they have gluten free and vegan dough. Cinnaholic has some competition and Cinnabon doesn't even touch this. Looking forward to a positive future and more locations. Update update: Had to go back and get some for friends.

Google
Randomly saw this place walking along Ventura blvd. Big cinnamon roll fan so I had to stop in. I tried The Ruler. Pretty damn good. This place has legit cinnamon rolls based off of my first impression. They have a wide variety of flavors so it looks like it’s worth coming back for. Excellent customer service as well.

Google
The very best cinnamon rolls you will ever taste!! I bought The Ice Cube and The Missy Elliot and both were 🔥🔥. You can taste the freshness of each ingredient and the love and passion that the owners Lindsay, Lawrence, and their son Dom puts into each cinnamon roll is very evident in the taste and presentation of their products. Dom is one of the coolest, most polite, and most respectful young person I’ve ever met when he came to my restaurant with his friends and supported us when we first opened. All About The Cinnamon is a must stop to add to your places to visit and eat at if you’re ever in or near Sherman Oaks!!

Jason S.

Google
Lawrence was incredibly friendly, the price was unbeatable, and they had a wide variety of options, including gluten free. My wife and I grabbed a big poppa and a GF bun and both were fantastic. Will be coming back to try the other flavors!

Nancy K.

Google
I love this place so much. The minute you walk in the smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls takes over all your senses. There are tons of different selection of cinnamon rolls to choose from that it makes you want to come back for more. I have been back 3x's now and the problem I have is that I want to try different ones, but the ones I already tried were so good that it is hard to not order them again. Definitely a must try.

Brandon N.

Google
I’m picky about my cinnamon rolls, and All About The Cinnamon surprised me in a good way. The Slick Rick roll (cookie butter + Lotus + cream cheese icing) was gooey and full of flavor, not just sugar overload. The setting is small and cozy, so this is more grab-and-go than sit-down but the vibe is solid. If you’re into desserts with personality and bold flavor, this is your place.

Ashley O.

Google
So fun!! Our office is close by and we've waited months for this place to open. We went today; It did not disappoint! Served HOT! Melts in your mouth and fun toppings. The cinnamon must really be special because you can really taste it's quality. Worth getting there before the sell out!

Esmeralda G.

Yelp
I never crave cinnamon rolls and it's probably my least favorite dessert but today my friend wanted to try this spot out and for me to LOVE IT...I had to come write a review, this spot is REALLY GOOD. The ambiance is a plus. I love how each one is named after a hip hop artist, there's so many options I think all would be delicious. I would definitely come back and I've already told my friends and family to come check this shit out themselves. You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Holy cinnamon rolls! To say this is the best I've ever had is an understatement. Where do I even begin?! This place is conveniently located in Sherman Oaks and as soon as you walk in, you'll be transported to the great hip-hop world of the 90s and punched with the sweetest aroma of cinnamon rolls. I LOVE their take on their menu, each cinnamon roll named after legends, like the Pac, Eazy E, and so many other great artists! We shared the Eazy E, drizzled in caramel and all its yummy gooey goodness. The frosting is not too sweet so it helps breakup the sweetness from the caramel. I wish I had taken more pictures of the other ones we ordered but we inhaled it so quickly! Service is also amazing and there's street parking which made the experience even better. Can't wait to come back for more! Happy eating!

Yelp
Love the fun names and connection to hip-hop. The staff were nice as could be. I got three cinnamon buns to take home. They were each so delicious and extremely rich in flavor. I appreciate how they sent home heating instructions, super helpful. The mural on the wall is gorgeous and fun to look at while waiting. So many things to discover while looking at it.

Yelp
Came here this morning with my daughter (her first cinnamon roll) and LOVED it. Tips: 1. Order your roll online the day or a couple days before and put your pickup time in the note. They'll have your order ready when you come in. 2. I see some reviews that the rolls were dry etc. would highly recommend picking up or eating in store. Our rolls were fresh out of the oven and insanely good. Ive been known to mess around with cinnamon rolls and I have to say, these are the perfect roll for me. Ooey gooey in the middle, really nice frosting with what looked like vanilla bean. Slight crunch on the outside and fluffy gooey center. My only regret is that I took my 4 year old here for her first cinnamon roll and I fear no cinnamon roll will ever live up Business owners are super nice - it's really sweet to see a family run shop like this. Wishing all the success to this family and I hope to return many times

Yelp
Been trying to catch this place open for a month! I believe they sell whatever inventory they have, then close! Business must be good because they're always "sold out"! As my friend and I were walking in, a woman was walking out and remarked "I got lucky!" Just a heads up, this is not health food, not even close! These are super decedent treats and a bit messy to eat but they are SO GOOD! Check out the photos and vids for the menu but there are about 20 "flavors" named after stars of hip hop (Slick Rick, Drake, Biggie, Missy Elliot and many more)! I got an LL cool J (a peanut butter and chocolate cinnamon roll) and my friend got the Cardi B (a pecan and cinnamon roll mix)! The store is small but the fact that they're always out of inventory shows how popular they've become in just a few months! There isn't really a place to sit for more than ten people so it's more of a grab and go type place! I believe the owner helped us and he was engaging and friendly! He told us the history of the shop which opened in the summer of 2025! He said they're doing well and was patient with us while explaining our options! I would come back in a second and will happily recommend this spot to anyone who will listen! There's only street parking along Van Nuys Blvd or a short walk from within the neighborhood! You really should try this mom and pop spot! They're only going to expand their menu and get better and I'm really rooting for them to be successful! They seem like really nice people, the kind you want to "make it" and you can follow them on instagram at @allaboutthecinnamon or go to their website allaboutcinnamon.com

Yelp
Oh my goddddd THESE CINNAMON ROLLS!! This shop!! It's PERFECTION!!! Cool vibe, art inside, owner Lawrence is an absolute GEM! Black-owned shop and absolutely CRUSHING IT!! Happy to spend my calories here! I got the Missy, a strawberry shortcake bun, and OMG JUST FAB!! You're gonna love it!!

Yelp
I'm so sad to have found this place. There goes my diet. When you walk in you're greeted with the smell of Cinnamon and friendly smiles. One of the best Cinnamon Rolls I've had in a while. The vibe, the customer service, and the Rolls were on point.
google avatar

Joann K.

Yelp
Service is great and very fun shop with lots of colors and drawings. Not sure if they had parking but parked on street (meter parking) I got 4 buns for about $35, thats like $8.50/bun i believe. The cinnamon roll i got was salty and had a really strong yeast/doughy taste to it and it wasn't fluffy, kinda had a stale taste. Maybe I got a bad batch? I might give it another shot sometime, but for now it's a pass.

Yelp
I am super-duper rooting for them to succeed. I love the concept, I love cinnamon rolls, I love the theme, I love the staff, I love a place that says exactly what it is on the sign. Everything is great, but I may have hyped up the cinnamon role a bit too much in my head before actually consuming. Is it good - undoubtably. Is it the epitome of a cinnamon roll? Unfortunately for me no. I think my preference is for a bit more of an ooey-gooey, nearly under-baked role with frosting that bites a with a bit more of cream cheese. An earnest suggestion for the awesome business owners; maybe consider a few different frostings! Keep the current but give me an option for one that is heavier on the cream cheese. To push that idea further, it would be out of this world if I could pick the level of bake on the bun. If a cinnamon roll place told me I can choose between rare and well; that seems like an out of this world experience for everyone to get the exact texture they're looking for. (I am sure that also sounds like a logistical nightmare)

Yelp
I want to like this place so much, I love the Hip Hop Theme, the Merch but the Cinnamon Roll was not great. I attempted 2 other times to come but they were closed so I was really excited for them to be finally open on my 3rd try. I came in around 2pm and the only thing they had were minis because they had some type of event. The cinnamon was not soft, it was dense and lacked cinnamon flavor. I could only eat the outer areas were there was frosting cause the other parts were inedible, dry and stale. My expectations of Cinnamon Roll is soft, pillowy and freshly made, not old. The service was amazing, Inside was very clean.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Best cinnamon buns and sweetest family! They are perfect every time. Even had them at a market (and they may have not been from that day as I was told) but tasted like they were RIGHT out of the oven.
google avatar

Ari R.

Yelp
Got the OG. It was pretty solid but it comes out well done and crispy. I get having some texture in a cookie but I want my cinnamon roll soft. When I got to the inside it was much better. Also, they're delicious but just something holding it back from being crack-like. Not sure what it is. Still a solid cinnamon roll. And staff are lovely!
google avatar

Jaz R.

Yelp
cute spot, art on the walls! Prime location right on van nuys & Ventura, service was awesome - extensive options with creative flavor twists , the bun is FIRE!! And they didn't skimp on the frosting - DEF coming back here... 10/10!!!
google avatar

Yelp
BEST CINNAMON ROLL EVER! I live nearby and have been eyeing this business for a bit. I love a good cinnamon roll and was hypnotized by their creations I've seen on their socials. I reached out via DM and got immediate answers to my questions. I placed an order for bday gathering I had last night. Box of 16 mini rolls - 8 of which were original and the other a combo of 2 of 4 different flavor options they have (Biscoff, Fruity Pebbles, Nutella, and chocolate drizzle) all named after famous hip hop artists. The dough is spectacular - never any of those hard outside parts that you either skip or eat quickly first to get to the good stuff. No this dough was something else. High quality. Their frosting for everything was legitimately pleasant and delicious. Topped with various biscoff and cereal offerings, this place knows how to make cinnamon rolls. Everyone that i had try them all agree this will be a staple at gatherings at my place. I can't wait to try all of their other flavors and for them to officially open in a couple weeks.

Kris K.

Yelp
Some of the best cinnamon rolls we've ever had and by far the best in LA!! Not only were the cinnamon rolls delicious, but the customer service is top notch as well. Immediately placed a preorder for Christmas! Love this fun unique family owned business!!
google avatar

Carmen B.

Yelp
So good and still wonderful being heated up at home! They provide directions for heating!
google avatar

Gary D.

Yelp
Always a go to when I visit Smorgasburg LA . Staff is friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable. Cinnamon Buns are delicious and the variety is next level. Until next time! See you soon.
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
My initial review, I gave them 3 stars because the cinnamon rolls were not good. Then the owner reached out to me and said that he was going to make it right. And he definitely did that. He delivered 3 fresh cinnamon rolls over to my office and I was able to share them with my colleagues. The difference was night & day. The initial ones that I got was dry and hard and wasn't tasty at all. The ones that were delivered to me, those were fantastic. It was soft and pillowy and the icing wasn't overly done. I am giving 5 stars not only for the rolls, but more for the customer service part of it. I understand that they are a family owned start up and they did definitely handled it the correct way.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
This is by far the absolute best cinnamon bun in the history of cinnamon. That may sound exaggerated, but I assure you it is not. Go see for yourself. I went with the OG -- The Big Poppa (on the vegan bun of course) which is just the bun and the frosting, and honestly that's all you need, BUT they also got all sorts of delicious toppings to add if you like. My son went with the 50 Cent which had JIMMIES on it. And yes they're called "jimmies" here cause the owner is from Philly. Go Birds!!!
google avatar

Nelia A.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and the best gluten free cinnamon roll I've ever had!! The texture was perfect which is so hard to nail with gluten free. I had the apple pie one. It was delish!
google avatar

Kamryn G.

Yelp
Stopped by their smorg stand last Sunday and really loved their menu. I thought they were creative and spunky to incorporate music into their food. There was an issue with my order so I reached out to them via IG; they were extremely empathetic and hand delivered a massive box of minis ! I'm beyond shocked at the level of customer service and quality of ingredients. They're so sincere and I can't wait to watch them grow! Thank you again.
google avatar

John A.

Yelp
I've been waiting for them to open and since I was in the v today, I decided to drop on and try it out. I got the "LL" and it was delicious. They also have vegan cinnamon rolls so I grabbed one for my wife and brought it home. Spoke with one of the owners and she was so nice. This is the type of place that deserves your business.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
All About The Cinnamon is a godsend. A remedy to any type of bad day. Who ever said money can't buy happiness is lying, because cinnamon rolls sure can, especially the ones at All About The Cinnamon. I brought Missy, Biggie, and Ice Cube over to a friends who just had a baby. We sat in the nursery cutting up a little trio of the rolls for each of us to try. The icing, the dough, cinnamon, everything is perfectly executed. You can tell the owners poured their heart and soul into every batch of these rolls. I can't wait to try all the flavors :)
google avatar

Leslie A.

Yelp
Stopped by and got 2 rolls The PAC and The Cardi and both were really good! I did make the mistake of eating them after dinner so I had to warm them up but either way they were amazing !! Next time I will be eating them as soon as I get them tho just to get the full experience. Both owners were really nice and gave good recommendations, the area is spacey and the wait wasn't long but people were definitely and out so it's a great spot to stop by for a sweet treat :) also the hip hop them and wall art is cool
google avatar

Chi O.

Yelp
I got the original bun and the service was decent. Wasn't a crowd but the space is cozy and not for sitting and eating. The bun was warm and icing was just enough; I liked how pillowy the dough was and the cinnamon was not too much. It's a step up from Cinnabon. Pricey but that's their selling point. I'll be back and again I'm just not with all those extra stuff on cinnamon rolls I like mine plain and icing right. Will recommend to cinnamon roll enthusiast
google avatar

Brandi P.

Yelp
First time here and it was insane! We got the basic Big Poppa and it was so good! They're huge so you can definitely share. Very cute aesthetic and kind staff as well. Highly recommend!

Bob L.

Yelp
Indulgent ,,delicious, scrumptious,, decadent, unique,, heaven, light and fluffy,,... LA's Dopest cinnamon rolls ! #lasdopestcinnamonrolls

Ma B.

Yelp
If they can tell me their ingredients are all organic, I'd up this to 5 stars. Yummy bun.

Jared G.

Yelp
All About The Cinnamon is great! The Big Poppa (their classic cinnamon roll) is delicious, and an amazing introduction to the rolls. Their new flavor, the pumpkin spice roll, is absolutely incredible. The owners, Lindsay and Lawrence, are welcoming and nice to chat to. They always offer to take the little extra time to warm up the buns in the microwave, if you want. I also appreciate that, in every bag, they include easy instructions for how to reheat the buns so they are fresh. They are constantly experimenting with new flavors, so there can be special surprises for both new and returning customers. Turns out, the name of the store is a bit misleading. All About The Cinnamon is all about the community and customers, too.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
I'm not sure if they have a separate yelp page for their new Sherman Oaks location but we happened to pop by without realizing they haven't officially launched yet. The owners are super kind and the cinnamon buns are great! We got the original (perfect mix of salty & sweet) and the missy elliot. The original was our favorite, we will definitely be back to try them out again when they officially open.
google avatar

Anton F.

Yelp
All About The Cinnamon is a pop up shop serving up hip hop inspired cinnamon rolls. I visited the booth while attending the 2024 Burbank WineWalk. Met the Owners whom were super cool and shared with me their inspiration behind the business. All of the cinnamon rolls are named after rap artist, each with a unique flavor. I planned to order the NWA trio of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy but Cube and Dre were sold out. The Eazy E, classic bun, frosting and melted caramel on top. So good. A location in Sherman Oaks is opening soon, early 2025, according to the Owners. Looking forward to it.
google avatar

Mireille B.

Yelp
Delicious!!!! This place hit the spot like no other. My favorite was the lemon one (I think it was called the Dr. Dre) -- sweet, tangy, and absolutely perfect. I also tried the OG, which was incredible too. It was moist, gooey, and bursting with that warm cinnamony flavor. Honestly, it's the perfect cinnamon roll for those midnight cravings...
google avatar

Food D.

Yelp
Amazing!!! From the bun to the toppings. The staff is laid back cool and nice. Def stop by and try these bad boys. So many flavors, I'm coming back 100 to try them all.

C. S.

Yelp
Kings and queens, as your palate journey's to the center of a cinnamon roll, so goes the need for centering within yourselves. Each bite is enhanced by cinnamon, a gift connected with wisdom and enlightenment, gracing the layers leading to your delightful center accessing the king and queen within. Maintain your focus as you feast on a roll with cinnamon used wisely. Thank you Lawrence and Lindsay for your beaming brilliance and authenticity. It was a pleasure being greeted by both of you with such warmth and to meet you for the first time.

Stacy R.

Yelp
Walking into the store smelled so good. It was hard to decide which one to get. So we decided to try several in a box fit for 9...!! (we shared the other 4 with my son!). Everyone that I tasted is delicious ! Excellent flavors and nice size too. It's impossible to finish it all at once (for me.) The owners are very pleasant and quick to serve your order. I'm going to look for these in our local handy market per your advertisement. . If not, I'll be back for sure !
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
I am a sucker for food with a 90s hip hop tie in. I'm old and love my 2Pac, Big Pun, Biggie, Lil Kim - all of it. I'm not ordering the Puffy at this pointttttt buttttt I digress~~~ :P My fellow OCA Quintin and I went to Smorgasburg and we've called ourselves Salt N Pepa since knowing each other. Imagine our surprise and happiness when we saw a cinnamon roll at All About The Cinnamon called --- SALT N PEPA! Salt-n-Pepa's here, and we're in effect!!! #PushIt Now their cinnamon rolls are fresh, soft and gooey with great taste. And each hip hop artist adds a little twist, for our Salt N Pepa roll we had a nice cream cheese frosting infused with coffee! Plus a drizzle of caramel. Loved it and it sure filled me up. In conclusion, I have so many more on their menu I need to try. I'm coming for you! And The Marshall Mathers has M&Ms - LOL. Y'all killing me.

Noa B.

Yelp
I've been here three times now, and honestly, the cinnamon rolls are top notch! If you love pop culture, you'll especially appreciate that all of the rolls are inspired by and named after rappers and other artists. The flavors are creative, delicious, and so worth it. On top of that, the staff and owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I'm definitely All About The Cinnamon!! "What y'all wanna do?.... Wanna be ballers? Shot-callers? Brawlers -- who be dippin in the," buns with the sweet savory fun!! AATC, that's who! This small huge energy LA baked business features a literal smorgasburg of tasty rolls.... Ironically at Smorgasburg LA every Sunday from 10AM to 4PM as well as in local spots such as BLVD Cafecito in Burbank and occasional at other great pop ups such as Vegan Playground. The signature cream cheese icing (as well as their non-dairy version) is one of the best things you'll enjoy in every bite! Made fresh and with care in-person or for delivery with iconic legends featured as the name of each unique creation.. From the colorful crunchy fruit topped Lil Kim to their extra cinnamon DMX to classic Big Poppa, Salt N Pepa coffee bean spiced and so many amazing others!! Each with their flavor kicking own personality. Lindsay Sears-McDonald is the Philly born and raised super genius behind this amazing hip hop and pop culture inspired delight. Their instagram features not only those magic shop baked buns, but her, her beautiful family, AATC crew and local foodies. You'll absolutely will be hooked the moment you make your selections and have that first bite :) Q Tip: In-person you can see VO (vegan optional) + GFO (optional) for more than half their menu. Additional if placing an online order you can see the same when selecting your quantity for your choices.

Yelp
Since I can't find a listing for their new Sherman Oaks location, I thought that I would leave this here... Delicious cinnamon rolls, super nice owners, let's support mom and pop businesses!

Edwin L.

Yelp
Best cinnamon roll I've ever had. Wife and I loved it. We tried the og and missy. Make sure you guys go to their website for correct hours. The hours on yelp don't reflect their up to date schedule.

Patti S.

Yelp
Call or go over to their shop. You can pay in advance and pick-up later. They are accommodating to their customers. It is a happy place to be I hope you can enjoy it as much as everyone else Mike B. While waiting outside for my order to be ready. I was watching a woman with a happy face moving her fork back and forth as if she was conducting a symphony. They are fresh, warm and yummy they put it in your bag then hand it to you. YUM! By the way the menu is on the wall. Great Customer Service.

Yelp
Oh my goodness ! Best cinnamon rolls ever! Had the Ice cube and wow! Flavorful buns suuper tasty! Freshly made with some high quality ingredients! Family owned and operated and the Owners are ammaazziingg

Yelp
I found this cinnamon bun stand at the Smorgasburg LA event and had to buy something. I mean, who can pass up cinnamon rolls named after Hip Hop artists that I love?!? These fun and fanciful rolls are so creative with names like the 2 PAC, the Big Pun, the Lil Kim, etc. After drooling in front of the stand for what seemed like forever, I finally decided on the Slick Rick - a bun with cookie butter, Lotus cookie and cream cheese icing. OMG...these buns are so so so so so so good! Warm, soft, chewy, and gooey, I would say this was the best cinnamon roll I've ever eaten. Dang it, I should've bought more flavors.... They even offer buns in vegan and gluten free options, although they didn't have any GF the day I went. But they do offer buns in even more flavors that can be ordered online and shipped to you. If you are ever at Smorgasburg, make a stop and pick one up - you won't regret it!

Dom J.

Yelp
I tried this stand tonight at Vegan Playground. I'd gone with some friends to grab dinner and they tried a different flavor but RAVED about how delicious it was. I decided to give a different flavor a try. Service was kind and efficient and I believe this is a husband and wife run operation. They have their setup configured in a way that provides a quick and seamless experience. Honestly, I assumed this was going to be cloyingly sweet and I'd take one bite and toss it. That didn't happen! It wasn't too sweet and the strawberry shortcake crumbles brought a nice feeling of nostalgia. The fresh strawberries were an excellent touch, to give the dessert some brightness and acidity. The price point is higher, but this is a novelty item, so fine for an occasional treat. I'd come back! Yelp
We tried the Big Poppa, the Ruler, and the Missy. All three were PHENOMENAL. These are the BEST cinnamon rolls I have ever had, from the gooey texture to the super fresh taste. Family owned and run with so much heart, and such a fun environment. Can't wait to come back again and again, I think about these several times a week!

Yelp
Simply the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had and I'm from Chicago so I know from Ann Sather's. These are not overly sweet and doughy and the frosting is off the hook rich and satisfying! I recommend this place to everyone I can and they are never disappointed. The place is still growing so the space is simple but the hip-hop mural is reason to a visit but you gotta grab a Big Poppa before you leave. We found these guys through Lei'd Cookies in Culver City and both places have become my favorites for a sweet treat.
