The 23 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done - London - The Infatuation

"The smell of chai is the first thing that hits you at Hoxton cafe, Sabretooth, and low-fi jazz and a gently flickering faux fireplace set the scene for laid-back mornings. There's a tasty tomato and za’atar toastie for lunch and plenty of knick-knacks—Tardis figurines, a Lion King VHS sleeve—to gaze at during a screen break." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

I love this restant for dates with my partner. It has the perfect atmosphere for a fun conversation. The food is mindblowingly good: a combination of innovative and classic dishes with wonderful complementary tastes, and beautifully presented. Also, the people who work there are lovely.

Celebrated my 30th birthday with Suki and his amazing staff. We had a night to remember. I really love the vibe of the place and we were able to fit 30 people in easily for a group dinner. Would strongly recommend the food, service and Suki himself!

This is a special place in London. It's rare that you can have such an inviting vibe, delicious food, fun original cocktails and boardgames in one space. The onion rings and that coriander chutney is AMAZING. Suki creates a place for the community to come and enjoy, whether that's a chai latte in the morning, a cafe to feel comfortable in all day, or a Friday/Saturday date night spot. It's in no way overpriced and you will always be treated like a friend.

I went here two times now, once for my sister’s graduation and yesterday for my sister’s birthday. Both experiences were more than incredible, not only the food but also the owner Suki and his crew were fantastic!!! The shop itself is also super cosy and welcoming. Suki truly knows how to turn a “simple” dish into the most wonderful food you will ever eat. 10/10 recommend!!!!!

This place is the best coffee shop in all of London. It’s literally like visiting an old friend, the owner is so personable, invites you to sit down and has a chat. He also makes the best coffee an chai. I would love to try the supper club at some point, I just have to find someone to try it out with. A true gem. I can’t recommend it enough.

By day it’s a super cool cafe, by night it transforms into a contemporary Indian eatery with a fascinating menu. Really interesting owner, really into his spices.

Just came here for my boyfriends birthday. Outrageously good flavours and creative menu. From fried bananas to spicy pineapples - it’s a pallet party. Finished on a cinnamon and apple samosa with a candle for my boyfriend - with no prompt. Came with a sprinkling of stars. Wonderful experience, would recommend highly.

I was really excited to try this place after reading the consistently rave reviews and seeing the minimalist menu. I really hate to do this to a local business, but I feel like people ought to know that is place is overrated for dinner and not worth your money - unless you’re looking to be underwhelmed. You’d expect a place with only five dishes on the menu to do them all well. We ordered four of them - destiny bombs (pani puri that any authentic Indian restaurant does as well or better), banana fritters (thick lumps of fried banana far too sweet for a starter) and both thalis (£16 for daal is taking the piss; the chicken had no flavour / spice). The atmosphere is truly nice, however, and the drinks were pretty tasty. I would go for drinks and skip the food in the future. I feel bad saying as much but I also feel that people should not fork out almost £100 for an average dinner for two. I have always been skeptical about Google reviews and all hail saberooth (all lower case) proves my point.
