"Sabretooth is a soothing cafe on the quieter end of Hoxton Street. A big, simmering pot of spiced chai is the first thing you’ll smell, and lo-fi jazz and a slowly rotating ceiling fan set the rhythm for laid-back mornings. The gently flickering faux fireplace gives things a toasty feel and trying to resist the urge to curl up with a warming cup of chai, our go-to drink here, is futile. photo credit: Sinéad Cranna photo credit: Sinéad Cranna It’s great for laptop work too, with fast wifi and plenty of characterful knickknacks—Tardis figurines, sketchy artworks, and, inexplicably, a Lion King VHS sleeve—to gaze at during a screen break. If you’re not in a hurry, get one of the toasties. They’re tasty, well-spiced pick-me-ups. Food Rundown Spiced Chai Head-cold-banishing peppercorn and punchy ginger are mellowed out with warming cinnamon and cardamom notes. It’s a very delicious brew to start the day with.
