The 23 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done - London - The Infatuation

"The smell of chai is the first thing that hits you at Hoxton cafe, Sabretooth, and low-fi jazz and a gently flickering faux fireplace set the scene for laid-back mornings. There's a tasty tomato and za’atar toastie for lunch and plenty of knick-knacks—Tardis figurines, a Lion King VHS sleeve—to gaze at during a screen break." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Sabretooth - Review - Hoxton - London - The Infatuation

"Sabretooth is a soothing cafe on the quieter end of Hoxton Street. A big, simmering pot of spiced chai is the first thing you’ll smell, and lo-fi jazz and a slowly rotating ceiling fan set the rhythm for laid-back mornings. The gently flickering faux fireplace gives things a toasty feel and trying to resist the urge to curl up with a warming cup of chai, our go-to drink here, is futile. photo credit: Sinéad Cranna photo credit: Sinéad Cranna It’s great for laptop work too, with fast wifi and plenty of characterful knickknacks—Tardis figurines, sketchy artworks, and, inexplicably, a Lion King VHS sleeve—to gaze at during a screen break. If you’re not in a hurry, get one of the toasties. They’re tasty, well-spiced pick-me-ups. Food Rundown Spiced Chai Head-cold-banishing peppercorn and punchy ginger are mellowed out with warming cinnamon and cardamom notes. It’s a very delicious brew to start the day with. Or restart a testing one. photo credit: Sinéad Cranna" - Sinéad Cranna

Very cozy and intimate setting with great music and ambience. They have a focused menu, the pani puri “destiny bombs” and momos were my favourite starters. The main Indian bento set was very flavourful and had great portions. They also have an excellent drinks menu, the margarita is a must-order! Highly recommend!!

We stumbled upon Sabretooth after moving to the area and quickly realised we'd found an absolute gem. Suki makes the best coffee in town, with the shop becoming a super cosy restaurant on the weekend. I hosted a surprise birthday dinner with 15 guests and the Sabretooth team looked after us so well, serving delicious homemade dishes and tasty cocktails. The food, the vibe and the crew are top notch. Highly recommend for your morning coffee, date night or a group dinner.

I love this restant for dates with my partner. It has the perfect atmosphere for a fun conversation. The food is mindblowingly good: a combination of innovative and classic dishes with wonderful complementary tastes, and beautifully presented. Also, the people who work there are lovely.

Went for a meal on Sunday. The vibe was lovely. Very welcoming, warm, friendly, and laid back. The cocktails were great and the music was on point throughout. I particularly liked the dumplings, and apple pie. We played board games throughout, which was a first for me I’LL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

I've given such a low review here because something is not quite right with the reviews of this restaurant. It should be around the 3.5 star level. We visited on the basis of all the five star reviews and we were so disappointed and let down by the food. On the night we went there was only a choice of two mains - a lentil curry or a chicken curry. I was surprised by the lack of choice. This would be fine if the food was good. We all had the chicken curry. This curry must have sat in the slow cooker for some time as the meat was shredded. It was flavourless and watery. The entrees were just passable. The 5 star reviews raised our expectations only to be dashed. Lower your expectations and you may not be disappointed, particularly at the price.

We were 11 people and celebrated my wife’s Birthday and had a very cosy Evening. The Cocktails were both good and a little unusal. We tried the four different starters, the two the two talis and the two desserts and all was very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I went here two times now, once for my sister’s graduation and yesterday for my sister’s birthday. Both experiences were more than incredible, not only the food but also the owner Suki and his crew were fantastic!!! The shop itself is also super cosy and welcoming. Suki truly knows how to turn a “simple” dish into the most wonderful food you will ever eat. 10/10 recommend!!!!!

Celebrated my 30th birthday with Suki and his amazing staff. We had a night to remember. I really love the vibe of the place and we were able to fit 30 people in easily for a group dinner. Would strongly recommend the food, service and Suki himself!
