"You probably already know the Allday name—it’s home to some of Austin’s best pizza, with a semi-permanent location at Daydreamer and another at Flo’s Wine Bar. Now they’re all grown up. The brick-and-mortar in Hyde Park has an expanded setup that includes cocktails, sandwiches, and a dining room that looks a little like an ultra-modern Chipotle. The MVP is, unsurprisingly, the New York-style pizza—with a charred crust that’s crispy and chewy in all the right ways—available by the slice or by the pie. "We love the New York-style pizza at Allday, but our favorite thing here might be the sandwiches, including The Goo-Mah, an italian-inspired hoagie packed with mortadella and soppressata, creamy stracciatella, calabrian mayo, and housemade relish on a fresh sesame roll baked in the same hot oven as those excellent pies. This one veers a little from the classic, which might be why they gave it a whole other name. And yet it’s a great sandwich that scratches the italian itch better than most." - nicolai mccrary

"Price: $$ Thanks to high demand, what was once a pizza pop-up has launched not one, but two locations in Central Austin. Allday promises New York-style pies, which means flavorful crusts, balanced sauce, and cheesy slices that fold easily and hold up to the diverse toppings. Build your own pizza by trying out the Sampler, or try some of Allday’s creations, which include a cacio e pepe pie and its signature stracciatella. Pair slices with a bottle or glass of wine from the host site, Flo’s, and make the ending extra sweet with its sweet cream gelato with toppings of your choice. Takeout orders can be placed in person.
