Best Bars in Savannah, Georgia - Eater Carolinas

"First walk down an alley, then walk down stairs, and then order a killer cocktail. The Alley Cat is worth locating. The exposed brick basement, giving a speakeasy feel, showcases an impressive bar. Innovative cocktails are described on a newspaper menu, bringing an old school feel and smell to the establishment. The art of making a cocktail is alive and well at the Alley Cat." - Barbara Skidmore

With more than 500 spirits, this bar has among the most impressive cocktail and spirits lists in Savannah and is staffed by some of the best mixologists in town. Not into cocktails? Hands down the best vegetarian slider I’ve ever had. Ever. The mushroom sliders came with two delicious, cheesey, meaty mushroom delights. After the food, the unique menu and vibe of the bar are hands down reason to come back - tomorrow! Cool tasty drinks and an underground room? Sold.

Great to bring outside of town friends. Very trendy good mixology bar. I enjoyed dressing up a bit to go. In the alley you go down some doors and enter a larger bar well decorated. Excellent for date night, or just to feel like “you went out” Dimly lit. Had a specialty drink and a classic dirty martini. Both well done.

Quick TLDR: Drinks: 10/10 | Service: 10/10 | Atmosphere and Vibe: 11/10 My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place while exploring the streets of Savannah together on vacation. Right off the bat, it was an extraordinary experience. To get to the bar, we had to go down an alleyway and down a dark set of stairs. I thought for sure I was about to walk up to a metal door in a bond movie and some Russian guy would open a tiny door and ask me for the password to get in. However, sure enough we opened the door at the bottom of the stairs and entered this darkly lit, classy bar that felt like a snazzy speak easy. We truly fell in love with this place. Whoever came up with the concept of this bar had a clear vision and true imagination for creating an unforgettable experience. The wonder didn't stop there however, as even the menus were crafted with thought. I don't want to spoil the menu, so you'll just have to see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Anyway, the place had a very cozy & romantic vibe while also feeling professional and mobster all at the same time. If I was opening a bar, this would be as close to perfection as I could imagine to attain. It's truly hard to convey just how snazzy this place is, so just check it out for yourself. Next time I am in Savannah, I will be coming back.

Google
Drinks are the downside here, and that’s a shame because that’s why we went. Each of us typically have a nice feel with one glass of wine. We each had 2 cocktails but no buzz at all- it was like there was no alcohol in any of the drinks. Caribbean punch tasted like straight root beer (as mentioned in most recent review). Employee was mopping floors at 12:15 when we walked in (although several tables were dirty). Talk about vibe killer. Nice old music and underground bar is the reason for the star.

Google
An incredible drink menu (printed as fun newspaper ads) and yummy bar food. Atmosphere is cozy and hip with a welcoming staff. We had the mushroom slider, Paloma cocktail and Caribbean Punch. Delicious!

Google
Alley Cat is a hidden gem in Savannah, offering an underground speakeasy vibe, expertly crafted cocktails, and a laid-back yet lively atmosphere. Tucked away in a basement, this bar exudes character, with its vintage newspaper-style menu and creative drink selections that keep you coming back for more. The cocktail menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated, featuring everything from classic favorites to unique, house-made concoctions. The bartenders are skilled and friendly, always happy to make recommendations based on your taste. With its cool ambiance, top-tier drinks, and welcoming crowd, Alley Cat is a must-visit for cocktail lovers looking for a memorable night out in Savannah. 🍸🐱✨

Google
As an actual craft cocktail bartender myself, these are not craft cocktails. I ordered the Caribbean punch and it quite literally tasted like flat root beer on a big cube. The root beer masked any and all other flavors that should have been in the drink. There was zero dimension to the cocktail. The other 2 drinks ordered at our table I had the same complaints about - zero dimension to the flavors. I have no issue paying $19/20 for a good craft cocktail, but when I’m paying $20, I expect the drink to be worth $20. Flat root beer on a big cube simply ain’t it. On top of the disappointing drinks, our server didn’t even know what was in the cocktails. He asked my friends mom if she likes the taste of licorice because the drink she was ordering had absinthe in it, according to him. But when we opened the menu back up, we were not seeing absinthe listed under the drink she had ordered. After going back and forth with the server for a bit, as he continued to repeat that the drink did have absinthe in it, he finally realized he was confusing it with a different drink. My recommendations are to 1) provide your bartenders with further training to better develop their palates and hopefully create drinks with more dimension for your next menu, and 2) make sure your servers know the menu. Not impressed, would certainly not come back

Google
Really cool vibe. Great experience feeling you were in an original speakeasy. Cocktails averaged $20 each. The cocktail menu was so creative. It was like a newspaper.

Yelp
Great cocktail bar. Fantastic cocktails. Top notch. If you're looking for a solid cocktail this is a stop you have to make. We came in early for a drink before an early dinner so it was really quiet and we sat at the bar and were lucky to being served by the bar master (I forget his name) and we had a great conversation. And I'll tell you this guy knew what he was doing. We ended up sticking around and chatting about Japanese Whiskey and tried a couple. If you're looking for a quiet cocktail I think you want to go in early. I can see this place being busy later on. Oh and check out the menu. They have some very unique cocktails and printed as a newspaper. My only regret was not doubling my tip. The whiskey got to my head:)

Yelp
I'm scoring this establishment a three because of tonight's service. We've been here before and the service was a 4.5 during a very busy weekend night. Tonight, on a Tuesday night, with less than a dozen people in the entire bar we received horrible service from our bartender. Anna was not interested in taking our order nor understanding our cocktail needs at all. She did make a fantastic Manhattan, nonetheless her attention to us, as customers was subpar, and therefore left us with a very sour taste in the service that this establishment is known for. Each time I tried to engage her for attention and understanding the cocktail that she was making, or what was interesting as a customer, she did not have any time to spend with me as a customer. Again, I understand if the establishment was busy but, this was on a Tuesday night at 7 o'clock in the evening. She looked at me as a tourist and not as a customer nor cocktail connoisseur. We spent the rest of our evening at the Peacock Lounge, which was much more friendly and accommodating to our cocktail needs.

Yelp
Quite possibly one of the coolest bars in the area. Just outside a side alley is the entry way to the downstairs escape. Enjoy great music over the speakers that fill the room but isn't overly loud. Our server was a little turned around that night but it was starting to get busy so it was fine. Ok so I know ice is supposed to be clear and everyone has it. Idk why but the clarity on this massive cube was just a joy lol. The cocktails were unique and the menu was themed around "The chronological history of drinking around the world" printed in a newspaper with easily 20-30 cocktails.

Yelp
We love stopping in for a nightcap at the Alley Cat. Malcom's has been our waiter nearly every time we have stopped in. Cocktails are delicious and we love that it's always a different and unique glassware that they are served in. Ambiance is cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend

Yelp
This was the last last stop on our pub crawl and it was a pretty cool vibe, probably the closest thing I imagine to a "real" speakeasy. Service was very slowly provided by an apathetic and unshaven young hipster. His lack of anything resembling a personality was the only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review. We started with some of the most amazing tater tots either of us had ever had and then a couple of drinks from their awe inspiring menu. In addition to the cocktails scattered throughout, there's a huge double page spread of their proffered booze at great prices. The crowd is loud and lively, the music is good, and you're almost guaranteed to have a good time.

Yelp
Wow. Talk about drink selection! This place feels like a 50's diner and speakeasy had a love child. Booths feel like a diner setting. Drink selection was extraordinary. We were warned so I will give same warning to you. There will be no fast service. If you are okay with that, you will love this place! I did love it.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Bartender Daniel made some mighty tasty cocktails. I love the cocktail menu is a 'newsletter' that is entertaining as well as informative for the varied drinks he can concoct. Very comfy setting with booths in cozy, dark corners. Hope to go again soon.

Yelp
Best cocktails in town! Unique vibe of old Savannah basement meets Manhattan lounge. The bartenders are true mixologist and they also have a great drink menu. A nice date night spot or bring some friends.

Yelp
Very cool little lounge! They make good drinks here. It's quite low key in comparison to some of the bars in the area. Less obnoxious & not full of 20 and 21 year olds. The menu is made to look like a newspaper the "Alley Cat Rag", it was a nice aesthetic component that I appreciated. We got there around 11:15 and were told to wait until a few people left. Less than 40 people could probably be in there at one time. They play good music and the staff are good. We had our original server leave while our tab was open so we got another server. We ordered Hole In The Wall drinks on the absinthe page, made with Blanche Absinthe. Not too strong of a drink but surprisingly delicious! I think this is a good place to grab drinks with friends / possibly a date.
google avatar

Katarina L.

Yelp
Little underground bar with a lounge-like feel! They have booth seats, newspaper menus, stronggggg drinks and a very lovely team. It seemed to be filled with younger folks (she says as a kind of young folk herself) but even more young than me. Maybe a hot spot for the college students? We got two old fashioneds and two sips later I was drunk. Only kidding a little but these were for sure two very strong cocktails. We only stayed for that one round, but it was a cool spot. I think I pictured more dark, moody, live music kind of vibe than the barish type place it turned out to be, but either way, a fun find.

Yelp
When in Savannah, and in need of a drink @alleycatsavannah is the place for you. The menu is a literal newspaper about the history of alcohol, all of the different types and puns to keep you entertained. The menu could be overwhelming, so either ask for a recommendation or go to the section with spirit of your choice. It is located in an alley in a basement and it has all of the vives of a speakeasy. Drinks were all balanced and just what each of us wanted.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Grabbed drinks here on my birthday. First, the place has a speakeasy feel, which is super fun. The menu is like a newspaper and has A TON of options, like almost overwhelming. Our cocktails were delicious! If you are a fan of craft cocktails, definitely stop by. We had to wait a long time for service, otherwise this place would be 5 stars, as the quality of the drinks was incredible.

Yelp
Came here for cocktails. The menu was very cute and looked like a newspaper Opted for the salty something (I don't remember). But it came with gin and caviar among other things. The server said a lot of people liked it but when I asked her what it tasted like, she didn't know and didn't even bother asking the bartender. Not very helpful. When the drink came, I wasn't expecting it to taste like very very strong anise and licorice. Wasn't a big fan of it. A bit overpowering. Also tried my other friend's cocktails and none were that great. Expected more cause the place and the vibe was so nice and it came highly rated. There are better cocktail bars out there. The hidden alley entrance was cool though.
google avatar

Vaishu M.

Yelp
This was such a nice bar! Ambiance was great and so were drinks. Beers were pretty cheap and some folks in our group opted for the beers. I wasn't drinking that night so I asked the servers for recommendations on mocktails. I'm docking 3 stars because the server said my mocktail would be $8 because it didn't have alcohol, but they still charged me the full $15. I asked the server about it and they said my mocktail was covered on another check (there were 3 at my table). And then the server never returned despite us being there for another hour afterwards. Someone already paid the check that had my mocktail (full priced) so I couldn't ask for a refund. Beware of their sketchy pricing.

Yelp
The Alley Cat Lounge is the definition of elegance and sophistication. Tucked behind some apartments, this elusive bar is a must visit on any night out in Savannah. They keep the guest count low, so there may be a wait when you first arrive. But I promise, the wait is worth it! As you enter, you'll enter this cool basement that takes you to another time. The walls are adorned with interesting art, brick and dim lights. My friends and I ordered an assortment of drinks from their newspaper like menu which was so fun! Every drink was a creative masterpiece. Be adventurous and try some of their more intriguing choices. They also serve small plates. Our party didn't order any but everything looked delicious.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
We love a place like this that is out-of-the-box. It's definitely a cool vibe and although we were the oldest of the crowd, we felt welcome and included. Speaking of age though, you'll need to pull out your phone flashlight to be able to read the menu because it's dark in there. The drinks are unique and were tasty but damn those prices. $17 is the average price and that is just too high for cocktails. We also had the olive sand cheese and the focaccia and cheese dip, and both were great. Our server was Raven and was delightful! Worth stopping by when in town.

Yelp
Was in Savannah on the second half of my solo trip from Chicago & decided to check this spot out after getting dinner near my AirBnb due to the positive yelp reviews - I made a wonderful choice. You enter from an alley, obviously, then proceed down the stairs to a cozy, open area bar. Being the person I am, & it being relatively early still, I found my perfect corner spot at the bar for reading & a cocktail(s). Music was great, not too loud, not too soft. LOVED the menu concept. They showcase their cocktails via newspaper with magnificent throwbacks to various musicians & songs, which staff member concocted said cocktail, and various little blurbs to enjoy/enlighten the mind. Overall, just a great atmosphere & vibes. They also had great N/A options too, which I'm sure are just as amazing. I can't speak to the food/snacks as I was more focused on a liquid diet at the time. I can't wait to return to Savannah & Alley Cat plays a big role in that. If you're around, check them out! Even go out of your way to pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed. Cocktails - amazing. So good in fact that I left to explore another bar, was disappointed, & returned back to Alley Cat because they set the bar so high. The two bartenders were very nice & attentive, wish I remembered their names! I'd like to think I'm an amateur home mixologist/bartender so was asking various questions to which they were more than happy to answer & teach me.

Yelp
This is one of those places you almost have to be told about or you might not even know it is there. It's down an alley, hence the name. It was one of various underground bars we were visiting on a Saturday night in Savannah. It's very well done in the decorating department. The walls are a white wash in bricks. There are nice booths and some tables. It's seat yourself. It's not really loud so it's a great intimate place to go with someone or a small group and talk. You can actually hear everyone talk. In lieu of a menu they have this cute newspaper that tells you all about the drinks they serve. And the list is soooo long. The bad part is the place is so dark you can't read the paper without using your phone flashlight. The service was not very good.
google avatar

Eleanor A.

Yelp
Interesting, a bit easy to find as a speakeasy. Advertising all along Broughton. The drinks were great and the place is so spacious, and delicately lit on the inside. Came with a large group and we were sat very quickly. The bouncer is also really nice which is a pleasant surprise in Savannah.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
This place was so fun! The decor is beautiful, the service was impeccable and we had a great time. I love the attention to detail that they put into the entire curation of the bar and the drink selection.
google avatar

Nashay M.

Yelp
Really cool spot. The ambiance was nice and very chill. The drinks were good, just not outstanding. Service was decent was well. Definitely worth going to if you are in the Savannah area

Yelp
Journey downstairs into the history of libations across the world! Gorgeous ambience with a bit of noise but find a cozy corner and take a look at the newspaper menu and find libations from Russia, America, Asia, and more! With an extensive list there's certainly something for you. I chose: The Al Capone, and The Alogonquin. The former was the perfect bitter concoction; the latter a balance of bitter and sweet.
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
Chris at the bar is a magician. Don't just order a drink, tell him what you like and let him create you a drink that is a journey.
google avatar

Bill H.

Yelp
I have never seen a ruder bartender. My friend asked for ice and received a rude lecture about not interrupting bartenders when they are making a drink. Have never been spoken to in such a manner by a bartender. We were not rude and did not even argue. The bartender also never even gave us the ice. It was not even busy with about 30 people in there. So simply closed my tab and left never to return. I will always tell people to avoid this place.
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Love everything about this speakeasy! Cozy, dark, lots of cushy seating and a massively cool cocktail menu. Their menus are newspapers that change out with the seasons and every cocktail listed is unique and perfectly balanced. Pro tip, try one of their yummy rum drinks. As someone who usually doesn't love rum, theirs are amazing!
google avatar

Steph F.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots from our visit to Savannah. The menu was super cool and the drinks and service were fantastic. We went back twice!
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Some of the best cocktails you can get in Savannah, highly skilled bartenders that can make just about anything you could want. Also love the basement location with exposed brick, really feel the speakeasy immersion.
google avatar

Tracy C.

Yelp
We were given directions to this low-key place by another restaurant. This is why I love Savannah. We are at a bar and they said if we want to go to another one like them to go down an alleyway and go down a set of stairs into a basement. Sounds super sketchy, but I'm from New York, and that's literally where the best places tend to be. Hidden and awesome. So we walk down a secluded street and sure enough there is an unobtrusive sign on the door. We walk down a flight of stairs and there is a lively, tropical themed, ridiculously colorful bar area with the nicest bartender ever. We got to talking and because the menu is super extensive, I asked bartender if it would be all right for me to just let them know my likes and dislikes and have them create something. They said they would love to because it was not a very busy night and they would help us out. The drinks were honestly not my favorite, but I loved the entire experience and the ambiance. I was super excited that they kept selling these tropical drinks that came with little inflatable tubes around them. If we had stayed for another round, I definitely would have tried that just for the presentation alone. Savannah is full of these amazing speakeasies. I can't get enough, and I will definitely be back for this one!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
This place is so neat! I wish I'd have gone years ago, but we finally went here. It's adorably decorated with a great selection of music. You seat yourself and a friendly staff member will come to your table. We ordered the olive plate and a couple of cocktails. Everything was great! We highly recommend and will definitely go back if we come back to Savannah!!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
With so many ways to explain how great a place is, this lounge is an amazing experience! We loved the atmosphere and music. Servers and bartenders are very friendly and offer great suggestions. The bar manager, Daniel makes amazing drinks. I loved the newspaper menu for its uniqueness and it has each bartenders drink of choice. We ended each night in Savannah at this lounge. Drinks my party tried and enjoyed were Love Shack and expresso martinis with tequila. I highly recommend this lounge to whomever visits Savannah.
google avatar

Kristine S.

Yelp
Fabulous speakeasy lounge in the heart of downtown Savannah. Hubby and I walked over from our Inn and in true speakeasy fashion, it took us a minute to find the entrance. Once inside, we walked down the stairway and got lucky enough to grab a table in the corner. We each ordered an Old Fashioned and soaked up the ambiance. There is such a chill vibe going on in here. This place was right up my alley (no pun intended) I just loved it! Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Monique L.

Yelp
What a COOL SPOT!!! Such a hidden gem. Read about this place on a blog and let me tell you... it is definitely a hidden treasure. Absolutely loved that it was not a tourist trap. The menu was super cool! Drinks are named after songs but the menu goes into so much more detail than just that. Really fun to go through the menu! Highly recommend checking them out and supporting this local business. It was a great experience!
google avatar

Christina W.

Yelp
The main thing keeping me from giving five stars is the fact that they had zero, nothing, nada, zip, zilch to eat there. Hubby and I came looking for great ambiance, wonderful drinks and maybe something to snack on but I guess two out of three ain't bad? The drinks were small but packed a punch in terms of inventiveness, look, taste and strength. And it was fun to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders do their magic with such precision! We wanted to stay longer and try another drink but after one we needed a little something to soak up the alcohol and the bartender said their kitchen was down. Hopefully they get that kitchen situation fixed. I'd love to go back...
google avatar

Beth T.

Yelp
A hidden gem just off the touristy beaten path. Come with an open mind and a thirst for creative cocktails and beverages. We only had time for single cocktail but plan to come back next time we are in town
google avatar

Patricia S.

Yelp
This place was a bit hard to find. Map showed it was on Broughton street but you really had to go to the back alley to find it. Ambiance was really cool and the decor was nice. I loved the look of the menus. But we had to get our flashlights out to read them. The drinks were very pricey and I was the only one out of the four of us that liked my drink. But even though I liked my drink alright, it's not something that I would have ever ordered again. It was nice place to go one time for the experience, but not someplace I would frequent.
google avatar

Christopher Z.

Yelp
Heard good things about this place and decided to check it out for ourselves. Glad we did. This place is an amazing bar with a huge selection of unique cocktails. When I say this place can make anything, I mean they can make ANYTHING! Grabbed a couple cocktails which I can't remember the names but all of them were stellar. And if you need help, simply ask the bartenders and they will be happy to help you pick something out. Also Daniel the bar manager was great. Took his time to go over things with us. He runs a really great bar. If you are into craft cocktails then this spot is a necessity on your Savannah visit.
google avatar

Nicolle P.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this speakeasy. Was extremely clean and had a very good ambiance. The energy in the bar was perfect to just sit relax and enjoy a really good drink. They had a lot of specialty drinks and the newspaper menu was an amazing touch. The staff was extremely attentive and didn't once leave us sitting without a drink even though the place was busy. 100% recommend.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Really fun place. Cool vibe. Owner has complete faith in the team behind the bar. These mixologists know what they are doing...!
google avatar

Isaiah M.

Yelp
What can I say? AMAZING! This was my second stop on my solo night out. The aesthetic was authentic. The music was fit for the scene. The three things that stood out the most - the drinks, the bartender, and the MENU!! The drinks were tasty, strong, and all different from the last. I started strong with "too drunk to fuck" and it may of been a questionable choice on my part, but hey, my wife wasn't with me so the drink was a fitting starter. The bartender kept me company, he was extremely friendly. After 2-3 drinks I was just telling him my liqour preferences and he was making me personalized cocktails. Being by myself was made much easier with someone to have an easy conversation with. 5 star person, 5 star bartender. The menu, by far my favorite part of the lounge. It's a newspaper. Each drink is based off a song. It was cool drinking my favorite song. 10/10, can't wait to come back with my wife so she can experience it too!
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
First off, I love this place. I came with my girlfriends for her extended bachelorette celebration. It had a very chic, speak easy vibe. You have to enter the bar through the alleyway (hence, the alley cat lounge). If you google the address, it will bring you to the front of the building (which is not the entrance). Our bartender, Absalom, was absolutely amazing!! We only have good things to say about him. He was very knowledgable about the menu, gave us great recommendations not only for cocktails, but things to do in Savannah as well, and was overall just a good time and great vibes. We also got to meet Daniel, the bar manager, and he was great too. I really liked the egg white cocktail I had (I cannot remember the name for the life of me but maybe it's Agave and Toast??) My girls had drinks I could not remember the name of either (It was a great night), but I did remember everything was really good. They're about $12-15 a cocktail, but they are strong and worth it. It would be great for a date night if you could snag one of the booths ;) Overall, we all agreed that 10/10 would come back to this place. P.S... whoever said there was nachos and hot dogs... totally not true. Thanks for the good time!!

Saul S.

Yelp
This is in my top five for craft cocktail bars in the country this is our first and last stop always when we take weekends in Savannah. Do yourself a favor and spend a night or two here drinking your way through some incredibly well made cocktails. Cheers!!!

Yelp
We went for drinks after dinner. The place is a little hard to find, but it is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere and service in an upscale bar.
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
This speakeasy is super awesome, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is dark, quaint, and comfortable. The vibe is super relaxing and the perfect place to stop by on a date. The menu was very unique and fun because it was an actual newspaper and the drinks were inspired by very famous songs from current and past times. I ordered the watermelon sugar and banana pancakes drinks. Both were very good and my boyfriend enjoyed his drinks as well. 10/10 recommend this place and I most certainly will be going back!
google avatar

Yelp
After our fancy dinner, we were ready for some good drinks. The Alley Cat Lounge is a pretty funky place, located in the underground of one of the historic buildings. It was obvious the place used to be some type of underground railroad station or something, and pretty cool that they keep most of the architecture. It added to the uniqueness of this place. Seating and tables were first come first served, as we were lucky to grab one of the funky half circle booths. Our server/bartender was Ed Sheeran's doppelgänger (LOL) and he was pretty cool. The drink menus are presented newspaper issue; when we went the drinks and cocktails were listed as song titles and albums, which was pretty neat. Our drinks were fantastic. I had their version of the espresso martini. We all enjoyed our drinks. Music was a little too loud that night when we were there, so unfortunately we did not stay long. A cool place to have some drinks with some buddies.
google avatar

Anne L.

Yelp
I am obsessed with the vibe here. Also the drinks were sooo good. More on the pricey end but so worth it. Bartenders were great and very knowledgeable on drinks. Will definitely be returning!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very cool basement cocktail lounge! Probably the best drinks we had in Savannah. We went for a pre-dinner cocktail or two and we sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. Told him what we liked and he made us cocktails.

Yelp
great, superb place for a fancy distinctive cocktail...prices are such that you likely will only have two rounds mpp}ax and there isn't any entertainment to keep your attention. they could charge more for the location and novelty, fortunately they don't

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Neat drink menu within a newspaper. Well-appointed, many cocktail options, and many liquor choices. Service was okay, though not great. Good drink spot for a small to mid-size group -- perhaps even a smaller "large group." Priced about right, if not slightly high... not bargain pricing, but what is these days?

Yelp
This is a super fun cocktail bar. Sit at the bar and watch the show. The bartenders really enjoy what they do and they make great cocktails. We tried the Sazerac, Rattlesnake, Improved Whiskey Cocktail and a Brooklyn (Like a Manhattan with absinthe). All of them were really good. The bartenders are helpful and will describe the specialty drinks on their menu and then give you suggestions as they get an idea what you like. It wasn't super crowded because we were there early on a Thursday, but as the night went on, the crowd picked up. The drinks here are way better than any of the touristy places and the rooftop bars. If you like great cocktails, this is a must stop in Savannah. Cheers

Yelp
Just left Alleycat Lounge so disappointed. Normally, we have a great experience here but a bartender with attitude ruined it tonight. She should consider another career since her surliness sucked the fun out of our evening.
