Allora - Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The Twelve Hotel in Atlanta Station keeps a usual cast of, well, cast and crew members from whatever’s currently filming in the city. So a seat at Allora's big central bar, located near Twelve's lobby, will keep you close to the action, which includes people-watching and the pizza chef sliding pies in and out the giant gas-burning pizza oven. The comfortable plaid booths in the back corners provide a more intimate space, where you and your date can finish your weirdly passionate discussion of Beyoncé’s discography. Try the Allora's Meatball pie with their housemade meatballs and the Vegetable, our favorite because of their sturdy, crispy crust, which can handle the weight of a huge pile of broccoli shreds, onions, peppers, freshly sliced mushrooms, and lots and lots of mozzarella cheese." - Nina Reeder

I so greatly appreciate the attention given here for our Mother’s Day brunch. Our party of 6 was greeted warmly, seated, and tended to with grace despite the holiday. The service was amazing and personable. We felt at home and welcome. I ordered the Mother’s Day brunch - Rosemary Cornish Hen, sweet potato, and asparagus - all DELICIOUS and SAVORY. Bottomless mimosas with chicken salad as our starter. Amazing. We will be back! Thank you for reminding us that great service and energy in the service world still exists! 10 out of 10 recommend.

I came in to treat myself, and this meal was absolutely worth it! I ordered the surf and turf topped with a rich Cajun cream sauce that included shrimp and crawfish — and it was packed with bold, savory flavor. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, tender and juicy on its own but even better with that sauce. The truffle fries were thick-cut, crispy, and had the perfect dusting of parmesan — I couldn’t stop eating them. And the broccolini? Perfectly cooked, tender with just the right char and seasoning. No exaggeration — I was literally dancing while eating. That’s how good it was. The plating was beautiful, the portion size was generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. This was one of those meals where every bite made you pause and appreciate the experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something indulgent, flavorful, and soul-satisfying. 10/10 — I’ll definitely be back!

Traveling from Alabama and this was a weekend to eat at new places. So 1st our waitress was Awesome. Drinks were good. I would rated the food at 3.0 because I ordered a Medium steak and you can see I didn't get that. My French fries wasn't crispy hot but still warm. The food was not bad, I'm a steak and potatoes man that likes his steak to be medium (for tenderness) fries to be fresh. The chicken Alfredo was good. We would come back again and hopefully my steak is right. However, the hospitality of the waitress was on point.

While staying at Twelve (the hotel that Allora is in) I ate breakfast here two days in a row and it was great! Service was friendly and excellent and the food was excellent too! I got their croissant breakfast sandwich each day and their potatoes. Those breakfast potatoes are fried up nicely with crispy outsides and the seasoning was so very tasty! The décor and restaurant is nicely done too. Definitely would recommend stopping in, at least for breakfast!

My wife and I were headed to IKEA, when we decided to find breakfast before we got stuck in the shopping escape room known as IKEA… Allots was a wonderful unexpected treasure! Kimberly was our server, and she was amazing and very personable. The food was surprisingly tasty! I usually put hot sauce for any breakfast food, so when my “Creole Benedict” arrived at the table, I requested and received a bottle of Tabasco sauce… that I never opened. This food had great flavor and was perfect!!!

Google
Great service and food, the portions were enormous but the place was empty on a Friday evening. No atmosphere at all..... Very strange. It also took us awhile to figure out where to enter the restaurant. (From the hotel lobby fyi.)

Everything was delicious. Our waitress Sky was great. Worth the price 👌🏿 would recommend 💯 💶 The atmosphere was great, nice music, full bar and plenty of staff. Sky checked on us regularly. We felt welcomed. There were other eateries in the area, but we chose this one. I should have taken a picture 📸 of my food.

Let me start by saying this was a perfect Father's Day dinner. The food was EXCELLENT!!!! And the service was absolutely on point. I was thoroughly impressive with the overall experience. We ordered Caesar Salad (shown in picture) and it was delicious. I like light dressing on my salad and the mixed Caesar was perfect. We ordered Papadelle pasta with chicken, which was probably the best pasta I've ever had. It was based in a garlic butter sauce with red pepper flakes, which was delicious. Also ordered the Lamb Lollipops, which was tender and flavorful. And finally, we ordered the Steak and Truffle Fries, which was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back with the family to dine again soon.

Yelp
The place looks ok. Very basic interior. Nothing really special but clean and spacious Service was great. I was impressed with our waitress who took our order without making any note and got it all right. The food was also ok. Nothing really special. I was happy to see a few vegetarian options and went with the cauliflower but the piece of cauliflower they gave me had basically not florets just the stem and it was super hard so it was disappointing but the seasoning was pretty good.

Yelp
Get the Fried Chicken Statler - don't doubt yourself on this decision. The fried chicken is amazing, little spice and perfectly cooked, crunchy outside, not oily, moist in the middle. Collard greens are amazing, the garlic mashed potatoes are divine, add the sauce around the plate to the chicken or greens for a different flavor. This dish works as a collective, which is hard to find and a complement to the chefs. The salmon is ok, kind of bland so I dipped it in the sauce from the fried chicken and it was amazing. I would rate this place higher if it was just based on food but the service is way too slow to ignore, ruins the experience. It was not busy so not sure what the problem was but everything took forever. Just be aware that service is very slow, even bringing out extra plates, took forever. The drinks are ok here - not great. They were unable to make some of the drinks because they were out of ingredients. We ordered standard drinks, martinis, old fashioned, etc and it was ok, nothing exciting. There are inefficiencies at the bar - namely a pizza oven in the middle of the bar and the overall setup. Consequently drinks come out very slow.

Yelp
The food is awful. The pasta is bland, the pizza crust is soggy, hooters food is way better. I could have gone to Publix and buy their frozen pasta. I've never posted a review before but my food experience was so awful that I needed to do this. The creole pasta was too creamy, I didn't taste any flavor, the pasta was overcooked. Awful awful awful.

Yelp
Yesterday I enjoyed myself doing a solo outing. This is my second time going to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the food. The waitresses are very polite, the food and the environment is great.

Yelp
Allora is located in Atlantic Station so more than likely you will be parking in the garage. The vibe here is cool. It's not a loud party atmosphere. It's like a sit at the bar, make new friends, and chill place but the music was nice. However, Allora does have a full Italian restaurant if you want more than a bar scene. Calamari and shrimp scampi (minus the pasta) was ordered. The shrimp was flavored nicely. The calamari was just ok. They were a bit dry to me but edible. The pinot Pinot Grigio was smooth which was a plus. Our bartender/server was nice and friendly. If you want chill vibes, then this is a nice low key place to go.

Yelp
Allora seemed to be a fun place to dine and socialize Friday - Sunday ( brunch) so, I decided to try it out. OpenTable listed the restaurant having a game night however, I don't think that was accurate based upon no evidence of upon my arrival. I did opt for standard seating despite it being a reservation for one. I was seated in Trikita's section and she provided great service. There is a 20% gratuity addedto each bill but,no complaints because she deserved it. I ordered the "Bidi Bidi Boom Boom" to drink and it was delicious! If you enjoy French 75's you would enjoy this tropical fruity drink. For my appetizer, I went with the Spinach Dip which was served with Focaccia bread. I literally could have had that as my entree it was THAT good. For my entree, I ordered the appetizer Lamb Lollipops and a side of the Rustic Sweet Potatoes. Delicious combination!! And the potatoes where crispy on the outside but, soft inside. I definitely enjoy visit and will try again in another themed night

Yelp
This review is way over due! The food was delicious, the waitress was amazing and the ambiance was great.

Yelp
Great server, poor service from kitchen, poor bathroom...we spent $240 for 3 of us...so not cheap at all! The food came out before appetizers were finished and then dessert came out before dinner was finished. Lastly, when I got the bill an automatic 20% TIP was added for our party of 3?!?!? And, they didn't tell me either?? Shame on them! Everywhere else in Atlantic Station was slammed, but Allora was not and now I know why!! BTW - the food was very good and valet parking for 3 hours was included!

Yelp
Headed in town for the Cirque du Soleil and dinner. This was our first time. Cool restaurant vibe even if it's in a hotel. Reservations for 6pm and seated promptly. Server had great knowledge of the menu and was extremely attentive. Always love service that takes care of plates and checks in for drink refreshment. She was awesome from start to finish. The food: interesting menu and a bit of everything. Pastas, pizza, a little comfort food dishes. We started with the pei mussels and spinach artichoke dip. Pretty good start. Mussels we're in a red sauce. I prefer a white wine sauce but these were pretty good. Spin dip was average. Entrees at the table included the Green Goddess pasta, the Creole Alfredo, Atlantic Salmon Salad and the Cauliflower steak for our vegetarian. The cauliflower steak was the clear winner of the 4. Really nice creative dish. The pastas were a bit oily but over tasted good the creole pasta was topped with spicy shrimp which was the star of the dish. Green Goddess and the Salmon was a bit average fare. All in all a nice meal just nothing that knocks your socks off. 5 star service, 4 star food.

Yelp
Me and friend decided to pop in and really enjoyed this place. The bar ambience is nice. It's like a half circle. You actually get to watch the pizza be prepped and cooked up close and personal. I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce. It was so good I actually ate every bite! With a little help from my friend of course. The bartender, Danielle was so sweet, attentive, and quick. I also had an opportunity to speak with the manager. She was also attentive & made sure to inquire about whether or not we were enjoying ourselves. Nice touch ladies. Thank you for a wonderful night out!

Yelp
The pasta.... Sheesh! Allora came highly recommended from a client, and it did not disappoint! I had the spicy shrimp tortellini - perfection! I enjoyed the ambience as well, it's a nice spot to hang with friends - and special friends! Can't wait to get back to LA to enjoy some more from the menu!

Yelp
I had a chance to check out Allora for a Sunday brunch. I arrived around noon and was surprised not a lot of people were there. It is located inside the twelve hotel in Atlantic Station. I ordered a mimosa which had a good balance of champagne and juice and for my food I ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits were great. Excellent flavor and filling. It was needed on this cold Sunday. I will say the customer service was lacking. It seems like they did not have enough people working. Other than that it was a decent experience. I think I would like to try out their dinner menu.

Marie S.

Yelp
Nothing Italian about this place. It's a hotel restaurant serving mediocre food. The steak was so tough and greasy. The lamb was dry. Very disappointed. The lights in the booths on the side of the walls shine right in your eyes and I had to keep my hand up to see the person across from me. Sorry but I won't be back. Needs improvement. Server was very nice though.

Yelp
If you're in Atlantic station I would not recommend this place. I came with a group of friends and when we first walked in we were impressed with the ambiance but everything went downhill after that. I ordered the blackened chicken with Alfredo and it was bland. The chicken was warm in comparison to the noodles and it didn't have much flavor. Definitely not worth $28. I also had the molten cake and it was not hot or tasty. Typically when eating that type of cake you are supposed to be able to see chocolate fall as you cut into it and that was not the case. They also serve it with the tiniest portion of ice cream I have ever seen. The customer service was not great either especially since they automatically add 20% gratuity to every check. Our server was not attentive and barely checked on us during our meal. I can count on less than 5 fingers how many times she came to the table since we were seated. Lastly the restaurant was extremely cold. It was 34 degrees out and you would think they would turn on the heat but that was not the case. The staff in the restaurant was walking around with winter coats on. Again if you're in Atlantic station save your money and go somewhere else to it. For the prices they charge they should be able to provide a decent level of customer service and food quality.

Yelp
Very disappointing. We got a pizza, 2 pastas and calamari and it was as all below average. Service was slow. Restaurant had a strong bleach smell. We chose the restaurant because we were going to Cirque du Soleil, but we would suggest you go elsewhere before the show.

Yelp
The shrimp & grits were the best thing we had for brunch. The atmosphere wasn't as energetic but we went around 10:30 on a Saturday.

Yelp
A serious skip it! The service is so slow and the food not good. For a simple order, they messed it up. Never apologized or offered anything for our extended wait while the order was fixed. The hotel is just okay as well, see my other review. The eggs were so uncooked, it was gross. The potatoes were old and left under a heat lamp. The only thing decent was the French toast, which the kids like (but, kids will eat about anything!).

Yelp
pizza is good . that's it , pasta is mid . it's good but mid. music is all over the place . but again, pizza is amazing . whole restaurant a little overpriced for the vibe

Yelp
This was an incredible dinner. Awesome wine selection, great service, and impeccable food choices. The food was amazing and we weren't even a bit disappointed in anything. Our waiter told us people come by all the time and just order the cookies- and I can see why! They were huge and so so so good and indescribably addictive. If you are even remotely curious

Yelp
The dessert alone was worthy of five-stars, but the service and atmosphere were lackluster. The service had no excuse to lag and fall short of attentive and friendly; there were about four other tables occupied in the restaurant my whole duration. Bar: The bar island is noticeable from the hotel lobby entrance and restaurant patio entrance. The shape is U shaped and appears to be a one-station bar with a limited offering from my glance. It appears to be primarily top shelf liquors. There's a TV at the bar for viewing. Seating: The booth/table seating called for a pillow since I was sinking into the seat. I was uncomfortable at first, but I fluffed it and was better, there was a smaller gap between the table and I. Sitting here isn't recommended if you're without a pillow. There's full booth seating, two chair tables, and lounge seating just on the other side of the bar. Food and Atmosphere: The pasta all sounded good. The dish I ordered was the half; it was a much smaller portion than I imagined. I liked the eggy, saucy taste w/ chicken and bacon additions. Getting the food was speedy but it wasn't hot. The menu is pretty limited in my opinion and pricey, but in the evening I can see this place being on the romantic side with the moonlight shining thru the 180 degrees panoramic view windows and live music playing, perfect for date night. The activity hours are unknown to me; I dined here between 5-6:30 PM on a Saturday. The restaurant remained quiet during this time.

Yelp
Allora ATL takes modern Italian cuisine to the next level! I cannot picture a better location for it than in Atlantic Station. The restaurant compliments its neighboring hotel quite well. The front door is gigantic yet light to pull open. Walking inside takes you to an alternate universe. The interior décor was just right. Warm and welcoming. Our server, Mariah, was friendly and made the experience great. As soon as we were seated, I was ready to eat. The menu is definitely unique. You won't find many if any of these items around town. My colleague decided to go with the Spinach Salad. This was not a typical salad. It included seared salmon, toasted quinoa, blueberries, feta cheese, toasted seeds and honey vinaigrette. Delightful! It came out looking like perfection in a bowl. I was going to be good and stay on track with a salad. However, that did not occur. The Shrimp Campanelle was calling my name. How could I resist? Beautiful shrimp, leeks, tarragon, preserved lemon in an amazing butter sauce. This was the best decision I've made all week! The flavors were outstanding and mostly because they use fresh ingredients. I can tell the difference when an eatery uses something from a can versus fresh from a market. It makes a world of difference. No meal is complete without dessert. The olive oil cake knew my first and last name. I could not leave without diving into it. This is not your average cake. The cake was served warm and accompanied by a scoop of honey gelato. I was satisfied. I wasn't over easy. I reminisced about the array of flavors I experienced on this day on the ride back. I haven't been this impressed with a local spot in a while. I am a critic so if things are not right, I let them know. I applaud Allora ATL for creating a unique upscale atmosphere for guests. The food is exceptional. They would have to be my favorite dine in Italian restaurant in Atlanta. Be sure to visit them this weekend. Why? Because Ash Said It! #ashsaidit

Yelp
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT! We dined there recently and the food was OK to Good. Very limited bar/cocktails. However, the service was atrocious! Since the "tip" is included for all sized parties, our server, Taliyah, had no incentive to do her job professionally. She got our order incorrect and essentially ignored us, even though the restaurant was pretty much empty. The kitchen was also very slow. Given the many alternatives available in the area, do yourself (and your companions) a favor by walking on by.

Daline D.

Yelp
Possibly THE worse service I've ever experienced. I'm guessing this is why the 20% gratuity is added to each check. The staff does not care AT ALL about the diner's experience. The person who introduced himself as the manager looked like he rolled out of bed and threw on the first thing in sight. He was also very rude and dismissive. To call this an Italian restaurant is absolutely disrespect to Italian cuisine and culture. Skip this place entirely but if you must go, DO NOT order the shrimp scampi or pasta. This place needs to be torn down and the ground it stands on salted.

Yelp
If I was rating Allora strictly on the quality of their cocktails and food, I would give this place an easy 5 stars. Located in the Atlantic Station area, the menu boasts an impressive selection of Italian antipasti and entrees. We played it relatively safe, and my group split two delicious pizzas - one loaded with pear, gorgonzola, rocket greens, and roasted pecans, the other with white clams and a garlic alfredo sauce. Both were EXCELLENT, as were the craft cocktails we ordered from the bar. The beer and wine list are lengthy, and prices commensurate with what you'd typically see in that high-end area. The service was friendly, but unfortunately the kitchen wasn't helping the servers out very much. Our food took quite a while to arrive, and the chocolate torte that one member of our party asked to have at the start of the meal (she'd already eaten dinner) was served once the pizza was gone (despite the server saying she'd check on it a few times.) Eh, overall it didn't blow me away, but I'm still thinking about that pear and gorgonzola pizza a week later!

Yelp
Seems like a fine dine restaurant at first but don't be deceived by the ambience. My fiancé ordered a pasta and I ordered a pizza. Her pasta came out first and my pizza didn't come for possibly 30 minutes. By then fiancé had already finished her pasta. When my margarita pizza did come it was not appetizing. Burnt crust as can be seen in the pictures, mozzarella had the texture of leather, clearly over cooked. If this was a small restaurant I wouldn't have cared as much but for the price they have marked up their items ($20+ for pasta) they definitely don't do justice. Disappointing!

Yelp
Been waiting for this place to open and so glad it finally did! Environment: I love how they transformed the space from its predecessor, the Lobby Bar. They make use of earthy tones, and have a small lounge area upon entry, as well as a wrap around bar that is the focal point of the restaurant. Service: The bartenders were pleasant and as accommodating as Management would allow, so I appreciated their efforts. Food/drink: I tried the Cacio e Pepe to eat and the Serendipity, Al Capone, and the Sneaky Peat for cocktails. Overall, I liked the freshness of the pasta in the Cacio a Pepe, but the noodle itself was a bit too dense and the sauce tended towards the salty note. I also was surprised that they would not allow me to order a protein on the side (e.g., salmon, chicken, or some Bolognese) to accompany this dish. The cocktails were all well-balanced and I was satisfied. All in all, the food as a whole was not too bad and I liked the cocktails, service, and ambience so I am going to keep this spot on my radar and see how that goes as they grow into themselves.

Yelp
Amazing food and best service !! Don't remember the name of the server but she was utter professional and nice !

Yelp
They only had one server but I must admit that young man held it down. The drinks from the bar took a while to come out but that was the only downside. The food was great!

Yelp
Largely disappointing. This is not Italian food in the least. We started with the scallops and risotto; the scallops were cooked nicely but the was a slightly unpleasant fishy taste to the entire dish. Our entrees were the salmon with crispy fingerlings potato, charred broccoli, and spicy cajun sauce, and the cauliflower steak with Candied pecans, feta, rustic sweet potato, and chimichurri. The salmon was ordered medium but came out well done. There were baby yellow potatoes but no fingerling potatoes. There was what appeared to be flash fried brocolini but no charred broccoli. The brocolini was the best thing on the plate, although every item was slightly over salted including the brocolini. The salmon was cooked in too much oil and the non-spicy "cajun"sauce was heavy, intensely overly rich, and was slathered on it. The sauce overpowered the entire dish with a singular flavor that leaves you wanting something fresh on the plate. The flavors just lacked any acidity or brightness and there was an overall lack of cohesiveness to it. The cauliflower steak was just an unevenly cut chunk of half cooked, under seasoned, cauliflower. The sweet potatoes were the best part of the dish. I didn't notice any Candied pecans and there was no chimichurri. Instead, there were pickled onions and a puddle of barely reduced balsamic vinegar. The balsamic was excessive and just didn't fit the dish as a whole. We also ordered the bourbon pineapple upside-down cake and took it to go. I love pineapple upside down cake and I love bourbon... We threw this away after a couple bites each. It just looks like mashed yellow cake with pineapple on it, and it tastes like mashed yellow cake with pineapple on it plus a random shot of bourbon right in the middle. We came here to check out the dining options (disappointing), the ambiance (a little too loud for the type of restaurant they claim to be), the service (an EXTREMELY slow kitchen) and the space (lackluster and not well thought it) for our engagement dinner party. We left knowing we'd never be back and certainly wouldn't celebrate our engagement here.

Yelp
Great little hotel restaurant/bar. They have options for all price points (pasta menu is a little more affordable). The ambiance was very sweet and romantic. Service sitting at the bar was great, it's small enough that the bartender can have their eye on you the whole time. I got the carbonara which was amazing, I was sad I'm from out of town and can't take the leftovers with me! I would highly recommend it. I also got the broccoli on the side, which was nothing special. Very laid back atmosphere which a great little view of the street. It's a convenient spot if you're staying in the area with pretty good food.

Yelp
I came here with a group for a book club event one Sunday afternoon. We had reservations for 2:30 and were seated at a long table off in a little nook of the restaurant. We were the only ones seated in this area at the time which was nice. The restaurant itself is spacious with an industrial design (lots of wood, steel, and aluminum), high ceilings and an oval-shaped bar situated in the center as the focal point. It's dimly lit making it a nice date night spot. However, the food was just okay. I ordered a lunch portion of the veggie lasagna. The flavor fell a little flat and it was light on the cheese. Maybe they have other dishes that wow but this isn't one of them. Based on this visit I'm not in any rush to come back. And honestly even when I am in the area I don't know if I'd come back since Atlantic Station has plenty of other restaurants to choose from.

Yelp
I ate at Allora a couple weeks ago after a long day of shopping and drinking around Atlantic Station. We kind of just stumbled into Allora, there was no line and we were feeling Italian so we went for it. We started with a bottle of white wine and the $1 a person unlimited bread. It was truly delicious bread and I was thinking, "wow what a deal!" until I remembered that yummy, unlimited bread is complimentary at many restaurants. Oh well, it was a dollar and again, very tasty. We also got the shishito peppers as an appetizer and they were alright. I got the carbonara and my boyfriend got the fennel sausage pizza. I got the half portion of the pasta which, after all the bread and peppers, was the perfect portion. I've had better carbonara before, but this was still a pretty good dish. My boyfriend, however, was not as pleased with his pizza. First, I'm not sure there was any fennel on it at all and second, it was spicy. Like very spicy. It was covered in red pepper flakes and I swear it must have been mixed in the sauce too. It wasn't bad per se, just totally unexpected. Overall, decent food and experience, but not worth rushing back for.

Yelp
Patronized this establishment for an intimate birthday gathering. The food was very flavorful, but a bit over priced. 2 drinks, an appetizer and two entrees were $150, but I guess when you're in a hotel at Atlantic Station, you can charge what you want, right? While the food was pretty tasty, I don't know if I believe it's worth going back.

Yelp
The good: great decor, friendly staff, not crowded at all. You can get a table or a seat at the bear at even the business times (there's a reason) The bad: The food was baaaaad. Everything was so poorly executed we would have been better off at McDonalds. The pizza was burnt but soggy in the middle. The Brussels were inedible because they were overly seasoned, cold and wrinkled like somebody made them yesterday and left them out. The salads were swimming in dressing so we couldn't eat them. The waitress forgot to enter our appetizers so we never got them. We never got refills because she never came back by the table. All of our dishes were still at the table by the end of the meal because she never came by to clear them. We ordered a dessert but it never came. It wasn't on the check, so she clearly forgot to enter that too. Gratuity is automatically added to every table, 20% even on high end liquor. Our waitress never did anything but take orders and drop our food off. We dropped $250 for one of the worst dinners I've ever had. This place definitely won't last. I feel robbed.

Yelp
This restaurant is almost tucked away! It's located in Atlantic Station which I frequent, I'd never noticed it until I was on a run one day. The restaurant is very nice. It's super trendy and definitely made me want to check it out. I came in with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon. It was not busy at all. We were seated immediately and given a choice of where we wanted to sit. We started outside but the wind was atrocious so we ended up moving inside. Water and bread service ($1 per person) were delivered immediately and we ordered our food. I ordered the 1/2 portion pork Bolognese rigatoni and she ordered the 1/2 portion of spaghetti. When our food arrived my friend realized that it was literally noodles and marinara sauce. The meatballs (which could be added separately) were $4 each meatball. My food was okay. I've had better pasta. The meat sauce was a little too rich. The spaghetti was as good as noodles and sauce gets. The bread was also weird. I could tell it was bread that's frozen and reheated. I won't be coming back, but I could see this being a place for quick drinks before hitting the city.

Yelp
Came to Allora for an after work drink and small plates. Food was really good and the wine was great. No happy hour prices but still enjoyed it!

Yelp
I started off my dinner with the caprese salad which was less than desirable. I can a lot about a restaurant by how fresh their tomatoes are and a caprese salad is usually the easiest way to that. The salad itself was dressed well but after a few bites I had to stop eating as there was this rancid after taste from the mozzarella. The tomato's themselves were old and soggy from sitting with the mozzarella and waiting to be served. Next I had the PEI Mussels and the sauce was absolutely Delicious. It's not a traditional garlic white wine sauce but a hearty and earthy tomato sauce which coated the mussels perfectly and was quite the delight. I ended the night with the scallops and risotto. It was also delicious, the rice was seasoned and cooked well as well as the scallops. Overall the meal was good the first dish really threw me off for the rest of the meal.

Yelp
Good food for a hotel restaurant. I had the pesto salmon with veggies and I asked for the fish to be cooked as rare as possible and to make it almost like sashimi. I also indulged a little and got the flourless cake with hazelnut ice cream. Both were pretty good.

Yelp
I would recommend checking this place out of you happen to be in Atlantic station. I didn't get any appetizers but went straight to the main dishes. I tried the lemon saffron Campanelle and it was pretty good for lunch, so I definitely recommend the pasta. The meatball sub and margarita pizza are solid items to try as well. However, make sure you get your server to read back your order, because I got a mix up two days in a row and that was awkward. Outside of that, it's worth the try.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! The food was so delicious! We went here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch-- around 2:30/3 pm. Upon entering, I was drawn to the upscale feel and the layout of the bar-- so we felt okay sitting at the bar for our meal as well. I was impressed with the menu since it had healthy options, as well as some other dishes that could likely be made without meat. Although I was eyeing the Cacio e pepe pasta, the waiter suggested the vegetarian lasagna-- and it was on point! I loved the savoriness of the sauce and the fact that I could actually taste the tender veggies inside the layers of pasta. It was not just a mushy glob of food. We also split the roasted cauliflower soup which was delicious! It was creamy, though the kale and pine nuts offered a surprising crunch as well. I would definitely recommend this soup. It's a rather large portion. My husband had ordered a chicken sandwich, and I tried some of the fries that came with it. Allora got the fries right with the crispiness. Overall, we enjoyed the taste of the food and the friendliness of our waiter as well. Can't wait to go back to try more of Allora's menu.

Yelp
Excellent experience! If you're looking for a place to go with friends, a dat enlighten location, or just a place for an outstanding meal, Allora is a definite must. I came here with my family, simply because we wanted Italian and Allora was close to my house. How lucky we were to find this place! When you first walk in, it seems a little underwhelming, but the large open spaces and mixed materials in the design make this a comfortable space. We decided to have a leisurely meal and try lots of different items on the menu. We started with the meatballs over Parmesan rice grits, the crab bruschetta, and the apple butter burrata. All 3 were amazing - the rice grits were the creamiest I've ever had in my life, the crab bruschetta was perfectly seasoned, and I never knew I needed apple butter on my burrata until trying it here. All of the dishes were perfectly plated and delicious. Next we moved on to the pastas. All of their pasta (except the spaghetti for now, but they're working on that)are made in house and you cans definitely pasta is delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the rigatoni bolognese (which was tasty) and the carbonara, which I cannot say enough about. I will be back just for this dish! Rich, creamy sauce with perfectly crispy pancetta. Last we tried the pepperoni pizza which was also very well done. The pepperoni wasn't overpowering which I appreciated, and they used wood fire in the cooking process so it had a great flavor and a slight char to the crust which reminded me of great NYC pizza. We wrapped up with apple bread pudding (which we rally had no room for but devoured anyway because it was so good). The whole experience was fantastic, and I have to give props to our server Dan who was wonderful and made it an even more enjoyable experience. Good food and wine recommendations (who knew I liked Chianti?) and great conversation helped top off a wonderful dining experience. I will absolutely be coming back.

Yelp
Delicious and excellent service! We ordered the Brussels, caprese, mussels, lamb chops, and bolognese. Everything was well seasoned, cooked to perfection, and our serve Lacole was so sweet and helpful! Thank you Allora, and thank you, Lacole!

Yelp
Came in for lunch with my friend and her daughter on Saturday July 6, Allora restaurant is located first floor of 12 hotel. We walked in and I asked for the host no one was able to talk to us it seems like they were just ignoring us to be honest customer service one star. The bartender said just have a seat someone will be here with. Our waitress came over and she seems like she have no idea what was on the menu couldn't help us with anything the day special nothing. My friend had a Pizza and I took a kale salad with salmon, overall I would say very pricey For not so good tasting food and bad customer service.

Yelp
No Air Conditioner! When it is 90 degrees outside you would expect AC but it was so hot in this restaurant. They should at least warn you when you walk in. We inquired with our server who told us it had been like this for months and not addressed. Food was good but pricey. It was over $100 and we only had 1 shared appetizer and skipped dessert. The Brussels were good and my lasagne was tasty. Would have been nice if they comped some drinks to make up for the broken AC but no. The bathrooms were also disgusting. It was like using a port a potty with the smell. It is a shame as it is a beautiful restaurant but perhaps just not managed well.

Yelp
Pizza was awful. Fortunately it took forever. Service was slow...and it wasn't busy. The water service was good. 2 stars is a gift.

Yelp
Michael was a great manager who engaged conversation and communicated his availability to assist us as needed. Enjoyed breakfast at arrival and later that evening cocktails with the bar manager, who's name One forgotten, was wonderful, as well.

Yelp
Pricey for less than mediocre food. The presentation is nice but it tasted awful. Server didn't know what kind of cheese or meat that was served on the charcuterie board, a highly disappointment. Alcohol was also over priced. About half wine can only be bought as a bottle. This is a place that you can say you've been there, have tried it, and will never go back.
