The food at Allora is, without question, the best in town. The service sets a new benchmark for hospitality—warm, attentive, and polished. The cocktail menu is incredibly creative, making it hard to choose just one; each drink bursts with complex, rich flavors.
We especially loved the multi-course dining experience, which can be thoughtfully paired with a progression of cocktails. The wine list remains impressively strong, offering excellent options to complement any dish.
Some of our favorite items include the Allora Salad, the octopus gnocchi, the meatballs, the yellowfin tuna, the cacio e pepe, and the ragu. The tableside steak is an absolute standout—expertly carved right in front of you and truly unlike anything else in Grand Rapids. Other memorable entrées were the filet and the pork chop, both cooked to perfection. The scallops were among the best I’ve ever had.
Be sure to save room for dessert—the lemon creation is amazing, and that’s coming from someone who typically doesn’t like lemon.
Overall, this was the best dining experience in town. We’re incredibly grateful to have Allora in Grand Rapids.
