Impeccable dining experience! We were fortunate enough to attend a wedding reception at Allegro. Right from the start it was clear that we were in for a special evening. The canapes were exquisite, familiar flavours but presented in a delightfully playful manner. The savoury canolli and bigne were to die for. The feast the followed was just hit after hit. Perfect beef tartare, Mandarin shrimp on truffle risotto and slow cooked beef ribs were a few of the highlights. But perhaps the most impressive part of our experience was how beautifully they served our two boys, 8 & 6. They had their own menu of child friendly courses to accompany ours and when it came time for dessert they were invited into the kitchen to choose their own ice-creams. Acireale is a beautiful spot to visit, but it would be worth visiting just to dine at Alloro!

A little gem hidden in the heart of Acireale, we had a wonderful time at Alloro, great food by Chef Salvo mixed with professionalism by the entire team, quite & discrete ambiance. Definitely a must when visiting the area!!

was pleasantly surprised by Alloro. It was an amazing coincidence that I found it while searching for a Western Union, conveniently located next to a plaza filled with charming shops, banks, and a beautiful church. Vincenzo, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, while Chef Salvo kindly explained all the dishes with genuine warmth. The food was spectacular; you could feel the love and care in every bite. Each plate we ordered looked appealing, smelled great, and tasted wonderful. They use all local ingredients, and from the amuse-bouche to the petit fours, every dish we tried made us very happy. Thank you for the warm welcome and outstanding food. We hope to return soon

We had an mazing experience here in May 2025 for our honeymoon. We dined on a Wednesday night and were surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant but were told that it was the Italian football Cup Final that night AND Catania were in a playoff match that night so all of the locals were watching the games - this was fortunate for us as it meant we had a fantastic private dining experience! The amazing English speaking Chef (so sorry but I can't remember his name) was brilliant and he went through the whole menu with us, helping us make the most of the experience. The food was brilliant and was good value for this standard of fine dining. Every course was beautiful and more importantly tasted great. I would highly recommend it and will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again! Thank you!

It is a wonderful experience. Culinary and visual. If you appreciate elegant rooms, a relaxed atmosphere and creations made from the best ingredients and with great attention to detail, this is the place for you. ALLORO has given me back my confidence in Sicilian cuisine. After many, many frustrating restaurant visits in Palermo, Acireale was really refreshingly sophisticated. I was still full 24 hours after a brilliant dinner. On the subject of wines: also excellent. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
