Allyanna's Olde Style Pizzeria

We've been dining in and ordering take out since 2008. While most folks do take out, they did upgrade the booths and now there are three four person booths inside. During colder months, the booths do get a bit cold from the constant door openings. But it's a quaint, cozy local spot usually filled with Hunter Service Men and Service Women as well as other neighborhood folks in Savannah Southside. I love their pizza dough! We typically order the Supreme as we cant decide on toppings and like lots of meat and some veggies. Off memory, I think it's Pepperoni, Sausage, Beef, Onions, Green Peppers and Mushrooms. I know I'm missing some toppings. The printed take out menu has several coupons. So for our Large Regular Priced Supreme Pizza we chose free Cheese Breadsticks which came with a side of Marinara and Galic Butter Spread. I notice the menu has really expanded and there are Strombolis and Pastas! If you dine in, they will refill your fresh Sweet Tea. Otherwise they have 20oz and 2 Ltr Bottled Sodas. A large speciality pizza, free cheese breadsticks, and two beverages was under $30 with leftovers. We didnt even touch the Cheese Bread. We're going to have it as part of our Thanksgiving Spread. The dough is THAT good! So glad to see this family business survived Covid.

Although the door dasher did not deliver my food I called manager and Jamese was so kind and got me connected with Chrissy the manager. After jumping through hoops and getting my credits back so I could reorder. I had ordered a very large order for all the nursing staff caring for me the driver marked the order as delivered and did not bring my food or answer any calls or messages. I spent a great deal of time on the phone with door dash and they finally got the credits issued and I tried ordering again I called Chrissy and told her the issue and she was so kind and said she would go out of her way to ensure it got me and helped me for future orders. The second order is on the way and I could't be more disappointed in the first driver but I am SO THANKFUL for kind people like Jamese and Chrissy changing my attitude from upset to laughing. The world needs more people like that . I order there ever time I'm near the area in the hospital and they made a customer for life today. The food is always delicious and I can't say enough about how truly kind the workers at Allyannas are! This a picture of my dinner from last night. I ordered two pizzas tonight via Uber and paid 77.00. When they arrived they were cold and tasteless. I have always enjoyed Allyanna’s because it’s good and local. I reached out to uber to report and receive some type of discount / refund. “Not eligible for refund” is what I got. I called Allyanna’s and received basically (or worse). “Not our fault.” “We can’t do anything about it.” Allyanna’s can choose whether or not to do business with parters (ie Uber, etc). All I was looking for was some accountability and the lady was so busy thinking about what she was going to say next, she would not listen to the customer. That type of attitude will not survive with a small local business competing with big national chains. They didn’t even offer to reach out to Uber Eats on my behalf. There is ALWAYS something you can do. Do better. Sorry to say we won’t be back.

This was my first visit here and unfortunately it will be my last. I was really excited when I saw their menu, I was hoping for some really good Italian style pizza. I moved here from Pennsylvania where I had true Italians with a pizza shop on every corner. And quite frankly I could eat pizza once every week. I ordered an individual personal pizza with just cheese. The sauce and cheese were really in the center of the pizza and not spread out as far as it should have been. The pizza was also swamped with sauce... It was a solid red sauce that was very plain like chef boyardee, I couldn't see a speck of a seasoning or spice in it. The dough is not traditional pizza dough. There was nothing crispy about it, even on some of the spots that appeared brown. It was very soft like a bread. Not like a good chewy pizza dough that gets crispy on the bottom, it was very unusual- I couldn't figure out if it was a pre-made dough or just a really different type of recipe. I'll be sticking with Costanza's or Vinnie Van go go's as my best pizzas in Savannah!

The best pizza you will find not in Savannah alone, but the entire Southeast region. Phenomenal fire flavored crust, outstanding sauce. Quintessentially Italian. Absolutely made with love and you can taste it. Exceptional

Ordered a pizza. It came pretty quickly but there were multiple black hairs in it. I called to let them know, wasn't expecting to get a refund or anything but definitely expected them to at least put a manager on the phone to show they gave a damn.

Got a pepperoni Stromboli, there were maybe 7 pepperonis in the whole thing. Hole in the wall place. One of the men workers stood at the register and stared creepily at me while I waited for my food to finish. Gave me bad vibes

It was delicious! So I rated them 4 stars because they did not make the pizza that I ordered, I requested the Fiesta Chicken Pizza but with the ranch ricotta sauce instead of the red sauce. Instead they just gave me the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Was still delicious, and I loved it. The crust was amazing just needed a little somethin to dip it in. The ranch ricotta was so good and creamy! Will deff order again just will be sure that they put the tomatoes and caramelized onions on it next time!! Went back and had the hand tossed chicken bacon ranch added onion and tomato, the Caribbean hot wings, and cinnamon sticks. Delicious!

I was told to keep it simple with pepperoni, so I did with just with a personal pan. Can't eat in there--small takeout--so we ate in the car. Round up and it's about $9 for the personal pan. So worth it! They were fast too.

This is the place with some really really good pizza, but they can definitely do some improvement on the customer service

Great pizza. Thin crust really made the toppings pop. Super-meaty wings. Love the ability to mix sauces. Order time for carry out was spot on. Staff was friendly and helpful. Skip the seasoned fries. Mushy and not very seasoned. Order the wings! Your crew will be happy you did. Traveller trying new places on the road.

Received a cold pizza, tough crust- instead of 45 minutes, delivery took 2 hours. Charged us both a technology fee and a delivery fee. They used to accept credit card payment and swipe fee was built into the cost. Why do this to your customers? Then there was a delivery fee as well. But the driver doesn't receive that delivery fee. There didn't used to be a delivery fee either. Just what is the delivery fee for? The drivers are 1099 contractors, not employees. Tipped the driver as usual, but the extra charges plus very poor quality food, and delivery time more than twice as long as the stated 45 minutes, doesn't work for us. Sadly what used to be consistently good pizza hasn't been up to snuff for a while now.

Just ordered the best pepperoni pie we've ever had. If you are in Savannah and haven't had Allyanna's, you don't know what pizza tastes like. Here's a photo of this pizza that got eaten before I could get a photo.

Never again. We've ordered from this place multiple times trying to give them a chance to get it right and every time have been disappointed. Waiting 2 hours for a single pizza delivery when the shop is half a mile away only to get a barely-warm, doughy, undercooked pizza is ridiculous to me. We should've just cancelled the charge last night and gone to Little Ceasar's- we would've been happier. I always try to support local businesses, but this one keeps disappointing us. Giant waste of time and 40 bucks.

In 2012, I moved from the Southside to Eastside Savannah. I used to order from Allyanna's all the time because it was amazing pizza. It's been over 10 years since I had their pizza and tonight I ordered a veggie and a thin crust pepperoni through Uber Eats. Perfection! Still great tasting pizza!

Driver was an hour late. The woman answering the phone said she didn't care when I called about the driver being late. The pizza delivered was the wrong one. The pizza was horrible.

Awful customer service. I received an incorrect order and the staff cussed in the background then hung up on me.

Ordered a super sized half pep half cheese, and an extra large meat lovers on thin and crispy crust. Both pizzas were outstanding and I will definitely continue ordering from here. We were very pleased. Only complaint was it took close to 1 and 1/2 hours for the delivery to arrive. Delicious!

Fast delivery an awesome food. Best wings in Savannah period. Pastas. Subs everything I've had from here is delicious

This is a scary place to order from. I always try to support local restaurants but don't even consider this place. It's disgusting. Not much more to say but I didn't even try to eat the food after the "cook" wiped her face on her hands. Bye!

Some things you wouldn't eat unless you are hungry. I'm hungry. What is disappointing me the most about my pizza is the crust. It's bready and stale like. I feel like I am eating a pizza someone didn't pick up the day before. Taco Pizza $17. Please do better.

This place is a nice hole in the wall with great food. The menu is extensive and anyone can find something they like. The prices are not bad at all. Plus they cook everything to order. I would definitely make this a regular place to eat.

This place was one of my favorites. Loved there calzones until one day they gave me a calzone with rotten cheese! I love cheese and know when it's gone bad. I called the store and told them it was rotten and they simply told me Ricotta cheese taste like that . That experience alone has lost me as a customer.

We ordered here for the first time and after my first bite of pizza, it tasted just like a child's birthday party - Chuck E. Cheese, if you will. We got a pizza with half just cheese and half with pepperoni. I don't recommend it. We also got garlic knots and the Freedom Fries and both of those were good, which is why I gave 3 stars. If you go, I do not recommend getting the pizza at this pizzeria.

We ordered a large half pepperoni and half supreme. It was OK. As my boyfriend stated, "the supreme side sort of looked like they just kind of happened to drop the other toppings besides pepperoni on it." It was a decent enough pizza and had a nice buttery crust. The first woman I spoke to, in order to confirm their delivery availability, was very nice and ready to take my order. Upon calling back and ready with our order, I spoke to someone who sounded very young and had to ask for my credit card number several times because she kept putting it in wrong. The delivery driver was nice enough on receipt of the pizza.

The pizza would have been great if we had received what we ordered. We ordered 1 meat lovers and 1 white pizza with basil, tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. We received a white pizza with BEEF, tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. When I called to let them know they told me I was wrong and they would call the delivery driver and I said no it was beef notbasil they told me no it was basil. I spoke to the manager Brittany who refused to refund my money unless we returned the pizza which we had already started eating ( after waiting an hour) then she said they wouldn't send another unless we returned the first pizza. She continued to tell me we were at fault despite their incorrect order.

Pretty good pizza. The shop is small and seemed in need of TLC but the pie was fresh and ready when I picked it up. Definitely would go here over a Pizza Hut or dominos.

Man when I tell y'all this pizza made with love The flavor and quality no to mention the freshness of the products. I will be returning.

We ordered two large pizzas, the sarantino and the Greek chicken spinach white. The pizza was decent, I really liked the tiny chopping of the ingredients as it helped the pizza cook more evenly and stay less wet. The flavors were pretty good, and the crust was nice, more New York style. My low review is due to it taking 2 hours for delivery, when I was originally quoted 1-1 1/4 hours. This was on a weeknight, not a weekend. I've never eaten at the physical location, I'd be open to going I just won't be ordering delivery from here again.

Last minute idea for dinner on the go. The customer service was great. The young lady behind the counter greated me as soon I entered. The menu has lots of options and a great price. Restaurants is small and clean. I could not make up mind on what to try / order so I purchased teriyaki wings and a personal pan pizza. No complaints, fast service and food tasted good.

I ordered food online from my job for lunch and when I went to pick it up one of the items were wrong when I got back to work. I immediately called and advised someone of the situation. I drove back up there got the correct order but only to find out once I bit into it that it had a lot of fat and the meat was under cooked... Who wants to bite into a sub full of fat... It was disgusting... I called back and asked to speak to a manager of course he/she wasn't there. I left my info for him/her to call me back and I'm still waiting... I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone! I WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!

Small shop, big pizza. Nothing I like better than a small Mom and Pop pizza place that I can discover and rave about. They have a XL pie I ordered that they slice into about 20 delicious thin triangles. Tasty crust, sauce and cheese at a fair price. What more do I need to say

Ok. Ordered a pepper steak sub and I don't recall it coming with "Cubed" bell peppers. Kinda odd eating a sandwich with crunchy bell peppers. Called to ask if this was new and the response was we always do this for the past 3 years. Although this is maybe my 15th one, I did not have crunchy cubed bell peppers in MY steak sub. Be sure to ask how your food is going to be prepared. On my way to take back. UPDATE: since It was delivered, I called again and spoke with the manager, he listened and offered to redo and deliver even though I offered to pick up( willing to share ).

Definitely not a 4 star pizza! It's about the same as another common brand you see all over town. The crust is very tough and the topping were no where close to what was pictured. No real flavor either. I paid 20.00 for a large pizza with Pepperoni, Pineapple and Onions and it really wasn't worth more than 11.99!

Unfriendly owner, out of 5 purchases 4 were completely wrong and the last pizza I ordered had public hair on it. Beyond disgusting.

It's been over a year since we last ordered and we thought we'd give Allyanna's one last chance. MISTAKE. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip -- and it was darn near inedible. The top was covered with an undefinable cheese. The inside looked like dog food. CHEAP dog food. It was ground chicken, I suppose. They once had great Buffalo Chicken dip -- why they switched to this horrible recipe, I can't imagine. Happy husband ordered Meat Lasagna. It was supposed to come with breadsticks and a side salad. Salad never came and breadsticks were soggy and stone cold. Husband ate about 1/3 of the lasagna but was not impressed. The ONLY decent entree was the meatball sub. We're done. We're not ever going to bother with Allyanna's again. My best advice: stay away.

We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and waited 1.5 hours. Nobody came. We then called and asked where the pizzas were and they forgot our order. How they can just forget an order is ridiculous. They need new employees or just close the store.

OKAY, I drove almost 5 hrs from Atlanta to Savannah area (should have took about 3.5 hrs but due to the construction...ugh..longer)...got to my hotel and the heated pool broken...so I said hey I am too tired anyway...so I am going to order some dinner for myself, my daughter and hubby..so I went to my trusting yelp page and this pizza joint was recommend with good reviews.. So, I called the pizzeria and asked..Hey do you deliver to Gateway Blvd...the lady on the other end said...I DON"T know...let me check!!! When she came back she said...Not sure if it is too far or not...but I will charge you $5 for the delivery and if it's not I will take a $1 off.. I said WHAT??? You are from here, I am not...and you don't know if you deliver here or not??? and you are going to charge me $4 or $5 delivery fee and I am buying a $20 or higher pizza....I think NOT..I will call someone that will deliver to me without the sliding delivery charges...I thought that was strange and fishy and to be truthful..I am sooo soo tired that it made me even more angry... So...I am leaving a bad review based on Customer Service BEING HORRIBLE...I travel here from time to time and I will definitely NOT spend any money with this company....I ordered from Costanzo's...Great pizza and even better still GREAT Customer Service..NO sliding delivery fees and they knew the answer immediately about whether they could deliver to me at my hotel...I recommend spending your money with them...see my review for them!!!

Pretty good. Ordered a large supreme half no veggies, they were generous with the meat but I wanted a lot of veggies & I only saw a few olives and tasted a couple bell peppers. The cheese bread was good. I would eat here again

Used to be our favorite go to for salads and pizza. However, tonight the salad was served in the cheapest sytrofoam container I have ever seen. It literally fell apart in my lap and then all over the floor as I tried to get it to the trashcan. I had already put the dressing, honey mustard, on my salad so my pants, the couch, and the carpet were stained as well as it took me 20 minutes to clean up the entire mess. While this may seem like a petty complaint, we had ordered take out for an easy, relaxing evening. There is no reason to cheapen the products you use to save a few cents bevause you have now lost loyal customers of 10 years. Very disappointed tjat you would cheap out

I ordered the mushroom and onion Stromboli. The taste was amazing! Mushrooms were fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the personal Meat Lover's and the loaded fries. He loved it. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

I was really skeptical about coming here, but I decided to go anyway. And honestly, I truly enjoyed my pizza. No complaints. The cashier was nice. The vibe of the restaurant is very laid back. I ordered a meat lovers' pizza to-go. I'd definitely come back here again when I'm having a craving for some pizza. I had been searching for some pizza spots and glad I came upon this one.

Beat pizza I've ever had! You have to get the CHICKEN ALFREDO PIZZA. It is truly a blessing from the gods. Ordering is easy and you can go online to save some money with coupons. If you live in south side they deliver but otherwise you're going to need to pick up-but it's definitely worth the trouble. They're also fast with your order and my pizza is always ready to go when I pick up! I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

Paid almost $15 through postmates just to have this pizza delivered. Was delighted by the 3 different personal pizza to the point the $15 didn't matter. Wish they were closer as I would make this a weekly treat.

Normally this is one of my go to for great pizza. Today I ordered a carry out. We couldn't eat it not even my grandson who eat almost anything. It was so greasy and the crust was doughy and just nasty. I won't be going back anytime soon as I am so disappointed. I love pizza but, not this time.

I am the worst. Do yourself a favor and don't take me places as I WILL be critical of the food. I am a total food snob. That being said, I recently had the lasagna from Allyannas and it was truly delicious. The right textures throughout combined with the sauce being perfectly balanced make for the perfect bite. Chef recommends!

Had a pizza delivered to the hotel. Fast service, decent pizza and a good price. Would order again.

I place a delivery order for spaghetti and meatballs and a meatball sub the Caesar salad that came with the spaghetti and meatballs had a hair in it approximately 8 inches long I called the store back and spoke with the manager who pretty much offered no resolution to the situation other than offering a credit or another salad which I don't want either in fear there might be a hair in it nor do I want to eat my spaghetti for the same reason

When I say they have amazing pizza, I mean AMAZING. The crust is perfect with that homemade taste. Even the thin crust was fluffy, not hard and crunchy like most thin crust (*couch couch* Pizza Hut). Wish I hit the lunch special which is $3.99 for two slices and a drink! Only reason I knocked off a star is because I wish it was in a better location with a bathroom. Definitely worth stopping in!

Everything looked great on YELP! So would I not order from a local spot while here in Savannah VS a National chain you might ask? Well I was told it would take 30-40 minutes for a delivery but it looked so delicious I said sure. Little did I know that 2 hours after I Placed the call I would still be waiting and popping hotel popcorn Just call Pizza Hut PS I am still waiting

I've now also tried the crab dip, Stromboli, Caesar salad, and tiramisu... all yummy! My only disappointment has been a sub and wedges. They were soft/ soggy by the time they were delivered.

This is the third time we have ordered from here and it has not been right. The buffalo chicken dip looks like cat food and my chicken salad came with no chicken.

We have been getting pizza for several years. It is very tasty, not the best I ever had, but probably the best for Savannah, tonight we received what was supposed to be a large pizza that was the smallest large pizza I ever saw. I did not measure it but it look more like a medium than a large. Our pizza was ice cold. We called to complain and they basically brushed It Off. No we're sorry no credit, no nothing and as far as we are concerned no longer will we order this pizza

Although I'm not a huge fan of pizza when I am in the mood this is my go to spot. Locally owned and operated with a wide variety of items they're sure to have something for even the pickiest person. Why go to Papa John's , Pizza Hut or Dominos , don't you want your stomach to be happy? They're not overly expensive so why would you dare go anywhere else. They have daily specials and send out coupons too.
