11 Best Karaoke Bars in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Hawaiian-themed restaurant and bar Aloha Kitchen opened in 1998 and now has four locations across the Las Vegas Valley. Check out the karaoke lounge, open every night at 8 p.m. only at the Decatur and Sahara location, where you can sing with a two-drink minimum. It’s a low-pressure atmosphere to imbibe or have some Hawaiian food, like the kalbi combo with ribs or the oxtail soup." - Janna Karel

The food at Aloha Kitchen was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We really enjoyed our meal and the variety on the menu. However, the service could use some improvement. We waited over 20 minutes to receive our food, which felt a bit too long. After the food finally arrived, we asked the host for extra plates, but she got distracted with other tasks and never brought them. I eventually had to go to the counter myself to ask again. Overall, great food but the service experience didn’t quite match the quality of the kitchen.

I used to go to the one right up the street so I had high expectations coming. When I walked in 8pm it was busy about five or six people in front of me waiting for their food. My food came out not super fast. I wasn’t mad about the wait because it means my food is fresh. Staff is very friendly. Now for the food I enjoyed it. Fresh and not oily. I got the local plate and lumipa which is my goto. I will admit the portions seem smaller than I remembered. The food was seasoned well. I asked for extra sauce and the lady gave it to me for free but they usually charge for extra. Over all I was happy and satisfied.

I'm excited to have Aloha Kitchen close to my work. I stopped by for a quick bite. I always enjoy the Shanghai Lumpia. It's so much better than all the filipino restaurants around Vegas. Lots of parking and the decor is beautiful. I'll definitely return to try the plate lunches. Service was good, and my lumpia was served quickly. Usually, I have to wait 15-20 minutes at the other locations.

Very enjoyable experience; Great food , service & comfortable environment. Fo da islanders - Ono!! an planny food. The service was wonderful , we had a warm welcome & the workers are jam... my goodness. The chicken katsu was fat & tender , the kalbi was broke da mout and chili / chicken combo is moe moe aftuh. The music wasn't too loud and island flava, spacious area, clean and comfortable seating. The prices are similar to other island food spots in Vegas ... for us was worth the whole experience.

Came in to see their newest location near their previous location. The new location is super nice and streamlined and clean . Order the Kalbi plate combo.

Came in to the nice clean new place. Food was great. Its unfortunate they don't do military discounts though.

I feel iffy about this place. When i went in, it wasn't too crowded. I had to repeat my order 3 times, not sure if the music is too loud for them as I tend to have a naturally loud voice. I requested a couple items (1 being the teri ginger salmon, the other I can't recall) and they said they don't carry it at this location. I ordered and waited about 15min which wasn't too bad. Music was a mix of local and some other random stuff it seemed. First thing I ate in the parking lot (before taking the rest home) was the mac salad. It was pretty bland, not much in the container for how much they charge ($4?) When I got home, was surprised by how empty the containers were compared to images in other reviews. Kalua pig was very fatty, but the meat I did get was tasty. Lau lau was kind of dry and just so-so. Katsu seemed a small portion for what I'm used to elsewhere, but so ono.

Google
They take too long for your food. I ordered kalbi ribs, these are not the same as the actal kalbi ribs that I used to get in the aloha kiychen on lamb and charleston. Aloha kitchen at decature has better favor. Kalbi ribs in this place had alot alot of rubbery than actual meat. Meat was too hard. Mac salad, doesnt have favor either. Aloha kitchen at decature or the one at 215, has better favor. Hope this aloha kitchen can improve their food.

Yelp
Aloha kitchen is my favorite Hawaiian food restaurant! I've been coming here since I was in high school so for reference I'm a mom to a preteen now. lol they have the absolute best musubi here and the service is always quick! Not the nicest I will say that but they are fast. The ambiance is a hit or miss but I am excited for the brand new location still on the east side on Charleston but in my opinion a much better and bigger spot. Don't sleep on the teriyaki chicken here I know it's such a boring basic meal usually but the way they make it here? There's nothing boring about it let me just say that! Lol only doing 4 stars cause the cashiers in the front can be mean girls sometimes. They make you feel like placing your order is an inconvenience. I've asked a few questions in the past and they made me feel like I was stupid for not knowing everything on the menu and what are the ingredients in them. I am scared to ask anything when I go here so I suggest looking into the menu before coming in and ordering your food!

Yelp
We came in for lunch and it's wasn't super busy. The restaurant is clean and the service is speedy. They don't have a sign mentioning what they are out of, so I ordered the Salmon. They didn't have it available. So I got the Mahi and Katsu combo. The katsu is always great, but the mahi was lacking flavor, even with the tartar sauce. I'll come back, but will order something else.

Yelp
If it ain't broke , no need to fix it. Aloha Kitchen's new east side location is finally open. Same great food, newly updated restaurant, and friendly staff. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Service was good they were welcoming and friendly. The place was pretty clean and it's honestly better than other Aloha Kitchens I've been to. The food quality was on point. I got the Kalbi Combo. As far as portions go it was fair. The flavor of the food was pretty good too not over bearing and not plain either. I'm definitely gonna go back.

Yelp
Food tastes amazing! Service is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable of all the items. This place is clean, spacious, plays Hawaiian music, very modern. Plenty of seating for dine in.

Yelp
The food tasted ok but they got some of the order wrong ....on 2 of the plates we asked for macaroni salad, but we got double rice on both . We spent like $80 so really disappointing to get home and the order wrong.

Yelp
Visited this spot in its new location yesterday morning---nicely decorated and clean. The spam and longanisa breakfasts were freshly cooked, spot on and delicious! Service was professional and friendly. Will be back-thank you! Looks like they will have a bar/gaming beside it soon-will need to check that out as well.

Yelp
Food is good , wait times suck for dining in I ordered 2 meals and took over 30 min to actually eat. I brought a plate to the counter and they told me "if you leave it on your table we'll come get it" ...... ok? ... customer service and cleanliness procedure needs some work, location is remodeled and very nice but seems messy and staff a little too laid back when the place is packed.

Lance Isaac O.

Yelp
16 dollar plate for a katsu and gave me only 1 strip of chicken and for my other plate of chicken teriyaki same thing and 90% cabbage couldnt go back since we did take out and live 30 mins from this place had to stop by on the way home from visiting family.

Yelp
The new location is very impressive. Beautiful inside, food was great with good portions. The staff welcomed me when I arrived. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes.
