This place is a hidden gem! Wow! So glad we came! The place is modern, clean, not pretentious. The food and service was exceptional! The empanadas were warm and flaky, not crusty and hard like others, the meats were cooked to perfection, tender, the sauces that come along with are made fresh, the soups were on point! And even the dessert was delightful. Martina was our waitress and she was excellent! Confident, not intrusive, always came back to refill and check in in good timing. And she suggested a nice red cab to pair with our dinner. And let me tell ya, me and my husband are picky eaters, coming from LA. We will definitely be back and bring some quality clients/friends too. Would have posted more photos but we literally ate it all!

Google
Amazing experience!! I loved the atmosphere and the food. I recommend the pumpkin ravioli :)

Google
Amazing place! My first time here, server Grego was very nice and the food was really good, me and my friends tried ñoquis with mashrooms, short ribs ravioli and the best was crab ravioli different and delicious. The place is new clean and the people really kind. I highly recommend this place if you are in coral gables. We will definitely go back.

As a regular at Altagracia, I recently enjoyed their beef empanadas – the best I've had all year in Miami I would say! The crispy, golden pastry with a savory, well-seasoned filling was simply delicious. I also had the Homemade Pumpkin & Cheese Ravioli, which have always been my favorite dish here (followed by Short Rib Ravioli). The creamy cheese and sweet pumpkin combination remains perfect. Additionally, the Picanha was a great choice: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The cozy atmosphere at Altagracia makes every visit enjoyable. All the dishes are truly high level. It was also the place my husband chose to celebrate Father’s Day. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy exceptional cuisine.

Google
Carlos was amazing and suggested a 12/10 Malbec!! The food was incredible, especially the fresh garlic butter and Steak.

Andres Perea

Google
A delicious gem. Every dish was on par, from the Burrata to the short braise rib ravioli to my steak with coffee and chocolate infusion. The wine selection very good as well. The one thing I will say, the Burrata comes with two pieces of bread and it should come with three. So we asked for a few more pieces to finish our dish and were charged for it. We will go back and recommend to friends.

Google
Great service and even better food! Don’t skip out on the mint & ginger lemonade, so refreshing. The chicken empanadas and short rib ravioli were top tier.

Google
Delicious food and cozy environment. Our waitress Daniela was super friendly. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Ambient, quiet, sleek, delicious food, not busy on a Sunday night, that's all you need to have a nice friendly night out. All dishes we got were amazing, citrus shrimp as an appetizer was great, and the n/a drinks like mint lemonade was also pretty damn good. Highly recommend for Spanish inspired modern argentinian cuisine.

Sherry J.

Yelp
- Got the crispy shrimp, pumpkin ravioli, strawberry lemonade and flan - I enjoyed everything but the flan, it was too sweet for me - I'm usually not a big pumpkin fan, but the pasta sauce was amazing - Very clean, simple inside - Service was good - Plenty of parking garages within walking distance

Yelp
Altagracia in Coral Gables is a fantastic spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Be sure to ask for Martina--she's an incredible server who goes above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. The service is top-notch, and the cozy ambiance makes it the perfect place for a great meal. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Came on Sunday rainy day the place was empty, this place is a jewel , a Dimon in the rough , everything here is excellent. The food is amazing. The prices are good you should come, you should definitely come. Places is very pleasant. The music is excellent, and is perfectly located and Alhambra but there is plenty of Parking

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The place is clean modern, quaint. And the food was delicious. Every single thing we ordered we left the plates empty. Cheese empanadas (flaky, not dense like others) , pumpkin soup (perfect for fall), the picanha steak was cooked perfectly even dessert (flan Dulce de Leche) was delightful. We've tried other Argentinian restaurants nearby let me tell you you get your moneys worth here. And the food is superior. And the service was exceptional. Our waitress Martina even suggested a great red cab. Delicious! We will definitely come back here again. This will be our new secret spot!

Gina R.

Yelp
This is Coral Gables' newest gem! The food is amazing and the service is spectacular! If you are in the mood for a great steak or fabulous pasta this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Excellent service. DANIELA provided outstanding attention and paid attention to details at all time. The food was exquisite and the sangrias were tasty. We were the only ones at the restaurant for about 2 hours. The atmosphere was very relaxing and elegant. We will definitely come back.

Noel O.

Yelp
Ambiance and the service were excellent. We enjoyed the chicken parmigiana was great and the seafood pasta as well. We will return for another round. Loved it!

Olga U.

Yelp
Our first visit to ALTAGRACIA, the decor as well as the ambiance is chic and simplistic. Our server Carlos was attentive and cordial. We started our evening with an amazing appetizer which included an excellent romesco sauce, the Burrata with prosciutto in an delicious, light extremely flavorful romesco sauce. Our mains included the lasagna as well as the pumpkin and cheese ravioli. Both light, delicious and filling. The lasagna noodles so Al denté and the meat sauce was just perfect. One of the best lasagnas we've had. The ravioli's were in a list cream sauce with truffle drizzled and topped with quinoa for a light crunchy twist. Just amazing! We finished with the flan, light and delicious. We would definitely recommend and return to Altagracia.

Gonzalo M.

Yelp
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and outstanding service. The scallops with coconut and pea sauce were a unique and delicious combination. The tuna tartare with melon was also refreshing and surprising. Definitely a place I'll return to!

Michael S.

Yelp
The food and service were incredible, that's the overall assessment. We found that the service time was perfect, the atmosphere was captivating and romantic, and the food was absolutely mind blowing - that cannot be understated. It was amazing.

Alberto U.

Yelp
Food is bad, service is worst, lacks a bar, no wine list, good ambience, but for what

kirsten b.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience. Carlos really knows how to take care of a table. We are from out of town and really enjoyed our meal - delicious!!!

Yelp
Very disappointing! I was hoping to have found an alternative place to eat Argentinian food in Coral Gables but Graziano's and Baires Grill continue to dominate the neighborhood. I came on a Friday evening and I should have known that something was odd when the place was empty, but my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. We even encouraged our family to join us. I ordered the lasagna, while my girlfriend had the baked salmon salad and my sister the gnocchis with bolognese. My mom decided to keep it safe and ordered the margherita flatbread. It took longer than expected to receive our food and when it came the initial smell was not pleasing. My lasagna smelled like it had been defrosted. When I took the first bite, I immediately tasted a canned residue tomato sauce flavor. To avoid getting sick, I decided not to continue eating. My sister also agreed that the sauce on her gnocchi had a strong taste and tried to eat it without the sauce. My mom's flatbread ended up being quite small for the price and my girlfriend's salmon salad was just average. She couldn't eat the quinoa that came with it since it tasted cold, like it had been sitting in the refrigerator a long time. In that hour and a half of us sitting there, only one family came in and the waiter took a while to bring us our check. When he did, he had charged us the lasagna we had returned, stating that it was not the restaurant's fault, but my own flavor preference. We finally got it taken off the check. This place claims to be Argentinian/Italian, and the owners might as well be, but food lacks flavor and unfortunately this place is dead. Their food is either old or does not have the turnaround needed to have fresh cuisine. My sister ended up getting a headache and my girlfriend had an upset stomach. The menu prices are equal to fresh ingredients, but this restaurant is serving canned and frozen items. I hope they take this constructive criticism and change for the better. ------------ Carlos, I'm not sure what you meant at the end of your reply, something about "extortion"... listen this is not Argentina and I need nothing from you. I'm also glad you mentioned my criteria for rating in Yelp because the only 5 stars I have given so far are well deserved, that's Pummarola and Graziano's. Both who happen to serve authentic food that is fresh. Something your business is far from reaching and the way you are handling this customer feedback shows exactly why. Seguí así que vas al sopi.

Amed I.

Yelp
The pumpkin ravioli and the short rib ravioli were amazing. Some of the best pasta I've ever had. The restaurant was cozy and had comfortable seating with intimate lighting. Perfect for date night. Staff was very attentive. Will definitely be returning here soon!

Kylie B.

Yelp
I've been to Altagracia two times and am always shocked it's not packed! I've been served by the owner each time, and he has always been incredibly kind (and, because he's from Argentina, has allowed me to practice my VERY rough Spanish with him). The burrata appetizer is amazing but the ravioli is absolutely the star of the show here. I can't recommend the pumpkin ravioli enough - it is so, so tasty! I also love their Rutini Malbec, which I think is super well priced ($42 for the bottle). It's a chic- looking restaurant but not pretentious (t-shirt and jeans are totally fine), which is my kind of atmosphere. Overall, a great add to the neighborhood - I will definitely be back again!

Justin O.

Yelp
Awesome spot in Coral Gables! Great service and very friendly workers. I very much enjoyed my time and will come back

Mark F.

Yelp
Try the Short Rib Ravioli with Four Cheese sauce. Brilliant, tender, creamy, and hearty. Great homemade food with a touch of gourmet. Wine selection is limited but they have good ones. The Chicken Milanese (Milanga de Pollo) is also very good plain, so if you ask for the Napolitana might even be better. The Lemonade is really good. The service is great, and everyone is very kind. The ambiance is very quiet, great for dates and gatherings with friends, so you can talk perfectly. They have strong lightning, maybe if they dim the lights a little bit would provide a more "private" kind of ambiance. Prices are great! 9/10.

Jose R.

Yelp
Great food and service in a quiet atmosphere. The empanadas were delicious. I had the bolognese and was very tasty.

Juliet Z.

Yelp
We had the short rib ravioli and the pumpkin ravioli and it was phenomenal. Great service.

Heather N.

Yelp
Was worried when we arrived for dinner at 5:30 and the place was completely empty. Ordered the Short Rib Ravioli. It was so flavorful and delicious! My partner had the Chicken Ceasar Salad and said it was the best he's ever had.

Dwight S.

Yelp
Walked in. It was empty. They were to service at the front of a very friendly . I sat down and started with a Caesar salad. It was OK then I had a pumpkin ravioli. It was exactly what I wanted it. I asked him for very light sauce. It was. for dessert. I had a brownie. It just had too many too much sauce on it.

Yelp
I scheduled a business meeting during lunch, my colleague made reservations. When I arrived just before 1pm the restaurant was empty. I wanted to sit at a booth, but the server said those were for parties of 4. I was a bit surprised since it was completely EMPTY. So I sat at a regular table for two. Later, both booths were filled, each with parties of two, so that was disappointing. We ordered the lunch specials. Honestly, lunch specials typically include salad, drink, dessert...something but here the price was just slightly lower but didn't include anything. I'd rather pay a little more and have a real special! I had the spaghetti bolognese and my colleague had the Chicken milanesa. I wanted a side salad but the server wasn't sure of the price. She said $2 initially and then $4-5 later. I did order it, but I wasn't expecting a Ceasar, which is what I got. And, it was served with the entree, I had expected it before. Unfortunately, the bolognese was not very flavorful, definitely wouldn't order it again. My colleague did like her chicken milanesa. That said, the restaurant decor is very nice, modern and clean. Service was friendly. There was a lively lunch crowd at about 1:30pm. Parking can be a challenge since street parking in the Gables during lunch is limited.

Yelp
I recently went for dinner at Altagracias and we really enjoyed it. Started off with the Empanada trio which were delicious. We had two meat and one cheese empanada. My father had the soup of the day (Zucchini cream soup) which he stated was delicious. As the main course I had the gnocchi with forest cream (mushroom) and truffle oil. They were good but I make amazing gnocchi's which are hard to beat. But I enjoyed them. My friend had the crab ravioli which he said were delicious. My wife shared food with my two kids which was the spaghetti with bolognese sauce and my daughter had the meat milanesa with fries and both were very tasty as well. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu which was AMAZING!! As well as the brownie with ice cream. We ordered a delicious white wine from New Zealand from the Villa Maria winery which paired well with our pasta dishes. Juan Pablo took great care of us. Very good service and a very nice ambiance. I recommend this restaurant. I shall be back!!

Hernandez E.

Yelp
Amazing! That's all. Just kidding, we were in the area as we had just left Nicest barbershop (highly recommend). We wanted something good to eat and we aren't new to the area but, didn't want anything we had gone to before. We looked on yelp for high recommended restaurants and came across Altagracia, so glad we did. It was a Sunday afternoon, still early so it wasn't too busy. One of the owners was there and they were able to attend us. The place is clean, modern, but has an inviting atmosphere with neutral colors. The service was great, they were very attentive to us and made great conversations. We had the Garlic Shrimp, which comes with red and white cream, flavors are new and unique. The short ribs ravioli, the amazing white cheese sauce with drizzle of truffle was just out of this world! The pumpkin ravioli which has this delicious quinoa crunch on top that is a great texture additive. The sauce and filling went great together (one of my favorite dishes). The spaghetti bolognese, very standard dish not too acidic and noodles cooked just right! Truthfully, we are coming back! So if you are in the area, pass by! Great parking right in front and even better food and company inside! Oh and the playlist- amazing!

Nancy P.

Yelp
Went out here and the place was very nice , wine was good. Bought spaghetti and meatballs. When I got to the house it was not what I expected for the price. It was spaghetti a 12 year old could make at home. Nothing to write home about.

Alexa B.

Yelp
Really delicious new Argentinian place on alhambra! The service was excellent, prices reasonable, and the food was very good. I'll be back for sure

Juliana C.

Yelp
Great food and service. Lasagna was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

Agostina B.

Yelp
The food is delicious, the attention and service they provide is spectacular. The atmosphere is fantastic. Argentine food is very delicious

Sebastian B.

Yelp
Really good Argentinean food. We ordered milanesa, gnocchi and spaghetti bolognese for my kid. All homemade and very tasty. The service was really friendly and the two most important things to consider, not expensive at all and very relaxed environment.

C A.

Yelp
this place was a complete surprise. The garlic bread and large caesar salad were good but our main courses of short rib ravioli and Mediterranean ravioli, tried both, were really good. Had a bottle of the house Malbec which complemented the meals well and ended with a very nice and not overly sweet flan with dulce de leche. Our waiter Juan Pablo was attentive and came by to make each serving met our expectations. The biggest surprise was the place never filled up and this was a Saturday evening. This is a hidden gem and needs to be found. Wife & I highly recommend it and expect to be back soon.

Miguel C.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food, dessert and coffee was great. I had the short rib ravioli, amazing and creamy sauce. The flan was good. Coffee macchiato great too. They had lunch specials too from 11-3pm

Nancy M.

Yelp
Happened upon this restaurant by mistake & it was wonderful! The food was delicious! I had the lasagna & my husband had chicken with marinara sauce, mozzarella & ham Carlos was very helpful with our choices. He recommended a Malbec & I enjoyed that as well. The restaurant was very clean & welcoming. Nice atmosphere! We would definitely come back if we are in the area!

Fio R.

Yelp
This space has a beautiful atmosphere, it's small and cozy. Most importantly, the food was delicious. For our appetizers, we ordered the burrata and the house salad. They were both very fresh and flavorful. For our entrees we got the short rib ravioli, and the picanha. The sauce for the ravioli was amazing, and the picanha was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and tender. Deserts were amazing!!! The flan with dulce de leche and the chocolate cake with ice cream were to die for. We were served by the owner, who was also cleaning and picking up tables. I hope his hard work pays off, this restaurant is totally worth it! I recommend this place for a nice romantic dinner date!!!

Natalia P.

Yelp
Great ambience and service... food even better! 5 must try this place !!! Coral gables keep getting better :)

Leslie C.

Yelp
Went last night and the burrata appetizer was good . The picanha was delicious . The owner was nice and the prices of the bottle of wines were reasonable . Not too many people there when we went by it was early .

Eva R.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service. We will be coming back we loved it!! Beautiful ambiance !

Alejandra C.

Yelp
First time and last. Food was not fresh. Overly pricy. Service was slow. Asked for pasta came with no bread? Had to ask for the bread. Place is empty. Food quality is very poor. Sauce seems canned. I could keep going on. Not worth it honestly. The fact that the owner Carlos answered in a very rude and unprofessional way to a reviewer that had a bad experience speaks very load and clear of him and the place. Calling a customer a liar? Is never the right choice of words and professionalism. There's a million restaurants. But go ahead and try this place for yourself. Carlos please take some ethics classes, treating customers poorly is never the way. Good luck in your new journey.

Andreina L.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Highly recommended. Ordered the salmon salad and chicken milanesa

Rodger S.

Yelp
Food is mediocre. Ambiance is quiet and comfortable Service was irregular. Staff was very attentive until we wanted to give our order or request our bill

Brianna F.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and really good food. Prices just right for portions. The quinoa on the top of my pumpkin ravioli was a bit burnt and difficult to eat. But I would still get it again.

Tsvi P.

Yelp
Great food, high quality with a friendly service and a very nice atmosphere and decoration. Good pricing as well.

Marcel P.

Yelp
This place try to be everything and is nothing. It is not full fledged argentinian nor Italian. The service is well below average grade. The food is from Sysco, the "home made pasta" is not home made by any stretch of the imagination. Carlos, you are the owner, the waiter and the guy "stretching the lasagna" that's tell all. Your place doesn't even qualify as an ethnic joint. And for the pasta I recommend to buy it from Pastabilities in Denver, CO. They supply to most of the fine restaurants in the U.S. or try Mimi' s Ravioli in Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL. They have excellent fresh pasta made on premises, homemade fresh mozzarella, etc. Ask for Lynda, the owner. I wish you good luck and do not fight with customers, they are the ones that will support your business. I think that is an Argie behavior. The guys from Graziano do not take criticism and attack the customer. This is not Argentina...this is the USA and the customer is king. Good luck.

Ella A.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Everything was delicious and our server Carlos was very kind. Great date night spot, will definitely be coming back!

Rebecca P.

Yelp
We stopped in on a Sunday for a late lunch. The restaurant serves a combination of Italian and Argentinian cuisine. There was only one server, but we had no issues with service as the place was nearly empty. He was attentive and nice. The food was okay. We ordered the empanadas, mediterranean ravioli, and salmon. There was nothing wrong with any of it but it was nothing special. For dessert, we had the tiramisu, which was really good. I would probably come back just for that. In terms of ambiance, it was calm quiet and the lights were a bit dim. Prices were moderate.

Adam P.

Yelp
I love this place I go here a lot, all of their food is amazing. I personally get the Steak Milanese with a side of Gnocchi and their amazing lemonade with it. The service is amazing as well, they are very nice. the decor and atmosphere is also amazing.

Kelley S.

Yelp
Came here on a whim on a rainy day and I am SO glad I did. The food was incredible, creative and authentic. I had the short rib ravioli for a main and it was amazing. The owner was very personable and does a wonderful job at listening to his visitors and giving the people what they want. Very forward, Michelin style thinking - keeping the menu artistic and concise, rotating it for the different seasons and wants of the people, maintaining a sleek atmosphere, and providing great wine pairing suggestions. Great choice any time of the day. You will not be disappointed, and might just find yourself ordering a little bit of everything on the menu!

Leandro B.

Yelp
Great spot for a laid back lunch/dinner. The food is great, portion sizes are generous, and the menu is rightly priced. Service is great too! The owner is in the restaurant all the time and involved on every detail which makes a real difference!

Tyler H.

Yelp
The homemade short rib ravioli was incredible and the service was amazing. Best service we've had around Miami. Highly recommend.
