The atmosphere was so nice to go on a date. There were booth seatings that you can have a very nice photo. Server was very nice and kind. She was very helpful when we had questions about the food. For the food, we ordered a lot of them I couldn’t remember all of them but the appetizer that had octopus was really good. And I was always wanting to try tortilla, here’s was nice served like a crepe cake😂 Paella was okay but we were too full by the appetizers so we couldn’t finish it.

Amada Restaurant is a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is warm and stylish with a modern Spanish touch, and the location right on the Boardwalk makes it even better. Sitting by the large windows and enjoying the ocean view while dining created such a relaxing and memorable experience. The menu offers a wide variety of Spanish dishes, with plenty of tapas to share. Everything I tried was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. The seafood stood out in particular — cooked perfectly and full of taste. Pairing the food with their wine selection made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to give good recommendations without being overwhelming. The pacing of the meal was just right, and I felt well taken care of throughout the evening. Overall, Amada is a great choice if you’re looking for delicious Spanish cuisine in Atlantic City with a view of the ocean. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

16OCT.2025 I celebrated my birthday here and it was my first time here. Me and my mate have a wonderful time. As soon as we were greeted and when we left the vibes were AMAZING(not because it was my birthday). The lady at the reservation spot was awesome and so welcoming, to the person who seated us, along with every person who placed our food on our booth (cabana like)table, right down to Roger that recommended and served us up on some food sweats/common delicious 5 courses tapas. The spot we suggested to sit was superb and just right. Our food tapas and appetizers tapas was great. Great right down to the dessert and my birthday glasses of champagne. THANK YOU ROGER for adding to my amazing birthday dinner night!

Amada by Chef José Garcés was a great finale to our stay at Ocean. The dining room has beautiful ocean views, especially at sunset, and the atmosphere is really stylish and inviting. Service was impeccable. We started with the Ceviche served with crispy plantains. It was super fresh, spicy and a big enough portion for 2-3 people. The plantains added the perfect crunch and help the spice cool down in between bites. It was a special, but I hope it stays on the menu. From there we shared a series of tapas. The albóndigas, lamb meatballs in sherry and foie gras cream. Piquillos rellenos - red peppers stuffed with crab and topped with marcona almonds. The short rib flatbread with horseradish cream, bacon, and arugula, and the empanada filled with spinach and Manchego. Everything was spectacular and way more filling than we expected for tapas. For dessert we tried the Tarta de Santiago - almond cake with white chocolate gelato and amarena cherry. It was simple, elegant, and a great finish to the meal. Made reservations and didn’t wait more than 10 mins. Great ambiance. Food is okay- portion size is small compared to pricing. You are in AC so that’s what you pay for. View from the window side of the restaurant. Reason for 5 stars is it was our anniversary and they gave us a cute post card and complimentary glass of champagne. Worth trying!

We had dinner at Amada Monday evening. It was so amazing !! The Tapas are absolutely delicious and the Red Sangria was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. The service is on point as well. Had Eduardo and he was perfect! The views are beautiful, be sure to reserve a cage that overlooks the ocean.

We spent all our money on appetizers and we don't regret it. However I would have loved to try everything from their menu. We were full from all that we ate. The drinks were strong! Had a great anniversary date. Long wait time during rush hours so plan ahead and make reservations.

Disappointment Yesterday we visited Amada Restaurant. It was a place I had been to before and really liked. Even though we were staying at a different hotel, we chose to go there specifically to have a Spanish beer. However, we were told that we could not enter because of my service dog and that the restaurant was “not pet friendly.” Even after I explained that she must be with me due to my medical condition, they dismissively told me, “Go to the lobby, show your documents, and come back with the approval sticker.” After doing what they asked and returning, they examined the sticker for an unnecessarily long time with an unfriendly expression. Then, instead of seating us at the bar, they placed us at a table isolated from everyone else. For a place that appears to be so high-quality, this level of disrespect and insensitivity was truly shocking. On my previous visit, there was a female manager who was very kind and clearly understood the purpose and importance of service dogs. The male manager on duty this time, however, seemed more focused on standing beside the hostess, chatting and laughing, than doing his actual job. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. As soon as we sat down, the menu was brought immediately and we were asked for our drink order. We felt rushed into ordering. We originally planned to sit at the bar and have just one beer, but since we were forced to sit at a table, we ordered a few tapas as well. Despite this, the server — following the manager’s instructions — kept coming back to the table repeatedly, asking if we needed anything else and essentially pressuring us to leave. Even though we told them we were still eating, they brought plastic to-go cups/boxes and the check when I hadn’t even finished half of my first beer. Naturally, they did not offer even a sip of water for my service dog, who lay quietly on the floor the entire evening. If you plan to go dressed “fancy” and have no health conditions — and are not accompanied by a service dog, a child, or an elderly person you care for — you will probably have no issues. Because those who do not fit into that category are clearly treated poorly. PS: You can see my dog in the attached photos and better understand what I am describing.

My husband and I were staying at Ocean for our anniversary on a Sunday and the restaurant we usually frequent was closed. So, we made reservations for Amada. We looked at the menu ahead of time and were a little hesitant since it's mostly a tapas style menu and we are typically into apps, entrees, dessert situations, but there were several things we wanted to try. We were seated at a table near the bar by the windows. The view was great but the lighting was so dim it made it hard to see. More on this later. Our server greeted us and took our drink orders. My husband did one of the signature cocktails but I asked for an Aperol spritz with passionfruit. Not only were they willing to do it for me, it was divine! Our server was super helpful when it came time to order, since we didn't want to go overboard but wanted to make sure we got a decent variety of things to try. We opted for the bacon wrapped dates, garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, fideos, A5 Wagyu skewer, and the A3 strip steak. We wanted to try the Iberico pork but it was sold out. The "bread" service is what can best be described as pita-like chips and a tuna aioli with capers, which is reminiscent of a tuna salad. This is a very unique choice, but it was good. The bacon wrapped dates arrived first and were five small dates, wrapped with bacon, and stuffed with an almond. They were delicious and made us excited for what was to come. Next our A5 Wagyu skewer arrived. It was hard to see, since it was dark, but we took a photo with flash and were able to see that the horseradish cream was underneath and the chimichurri sauce was on top. The A5 is such a melt in your mouth cut of steak that the sauces were definitely overkill, and this is coming from someone who wants sauce on literally everything. The third item to come out was the garlic shrimp. This was about 7 tender shrimp sitting in a garlicky broth with little slices of baguette on top. We ranked the first 3 tapas as 1. Shrimp 2. Dates 3. A5. Shortly thereafter the fideos arrived. These were vermicelli noodles in a goat cheese sauce with Serrano ham, pistachio, and truffles. They were SO good! Highly recommend these. Then the patatas bravas arrived along with the NY strip. The patatas bravas are little crispy potato bites with a paprika aioli and they were so delicious too. While NY strip isn't a typical cut of steak we choose, in this case with it being A3, we wanted to give it a try. It arrived with 3 dipping sauces- a pepperocini style aioli, tomato romesco, and a shallot buerre blanc. The sauces were great and we couldn't choose a favorite. They all paired well with the steak. Despite being full and not needing another thing, we opted for the El Domingo for dessert. What's the El Domingo you ask? A sundae with dulce de leche filled churros, vanilla and chocolate gelato, whipped cream, candied walnuts, and cherries. It was the perfect ending to a delicious dinner. Our server was attentive and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

We came just for the day, and I had this spot on my must-try list. The hostess was warm and accommodating when I requested a window table for the ocean view. Though none were available, she seated us at the next best spot, close enough to enjoy the beautiful view. Meagan, our waitress, was an absolute gem. She even had on the cutest duck earrings! She partnered with a very kind gentleman (whose name I forgot--blame it on the wine!) and together they were attentive, friendly, and spot-on with their recommendations. We started with the garlic shrimp and clams, and Meagan insisted we try the bacon-wrapped dates. I gave her the side-eye at first (dates?), but BABY!!! One bite and I was sold. Even my 10yr old was raving. She told Meagan, "Five stars on the dates!" For the main, we shared the Paella Mariscos. My husband has a hearty appetite and even he couldn't finish it. The portion is huge, overflowing with seafood, and bursting with flavor. Because we were seated so close to the window, we even got a surprise bonus, front row seats to the drone show and fireworks over the ocean. A big shout-out to the manager, who made her rounds with a big smile and genuine warmth. You can tell she loves what she does. If you're in Atlantic City, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Ocean views, amazing food, drone and fireworks show, and great service.

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and boy did they not disappoint! The place was busy with it being the start of March Madness. We had to wait a fee minutes on our 7pm reservation only because we requested the birdcage seating, which is totally understandable. We got water as soon as we sat down. Our waiter explained the menu in great detail, we both ordered drinks. My gf says their sangria is great, and I had a nice glass of red wine. Their setup is a bit different as when each plate that you ordered is ready it comes right out. Her diver scallops (smaller option) came out quick and she said they were delicious, along with the wild mushroom rice she ordered. I got the rack of lamb (smaller option) which were AMAZING. It came with 3 different sauces which were all tasty. They also gave us a complimentary tuna dip which was great. Ofcourse we both wrapped our meals with their Spanish creme brulee, so good. Worth every penny if you ask me. They checked on us constantly and made sure we had a good experience.

A little torn here. Tapas was mostly good. The place is really nice. Enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Shrimp was good Potatoes good Clams good Brussel sprouts were somewhere in the middle. I think they may have been small ones so they were falling apart and a little on the burnt side. I like a good char but these were deep fried according to the waiter. The paella was mixed. I don't think the lobster was fresh or it was a little undercooked. It was off - the shrimp looked like it was grilled and placed on top as it wasn't hot. I don't think they used enough stock as the rice wasn't done. But then, while I love a nice crust, you can see in the photo, it was burnt. 2 of 5 clams didn't open. I've had many paellas in ny, nj, Spain, and elsewhere. Definitely let our waiter know. Offered that the chef said the Brussels sprouts were made that way. No word on the paella.

Absolutely great restaurant. Service amazing, food delicious. We ordered seafood paella . It was so so good. So good that the next dinner we came here again and ordered the paella again.

We stayed at Oceans for my friend's bachelor party and decided to eat here to celebrate. The restaurant overlooks the water and you can see the pier from your seats. Although, the staff was attentive and the tapas came out quickly the food was lackluster. The patatas bravas and the gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) were the standouts of the menu. The chicken and seafood paella was under seasoned and had a gummy texture. For a hotel/casino restaurant it could've been worse.

Once you walk into Amada you're immediately transported to what feels like the South of Spain. The decor, ambiance, and incredible views of the water make this one of the best spots in Atlantic City. It's truly majestic and offers such a unique and elevated dining experience. We went for the Mother's Day Brunch Menu at $75 per person, and let me just say--it was worth every penny. The spread was unbelievable, from the beautifully designed decor to the exceptional service and, of course, the outstanding food. This is a place I would gladly return to for another special occasion, and I've already recommended it to several friends and family members. The dishes were so creative and stunning--both in presentation and flavor. My absolute favorites were the pernil, tortilla española, and the amazing selection of quesos and jamones. I loved how the food was served on beautiful Spanish wooden cutting boards, which added such a rustic and authentic touch to the whole experience. I also posted photos of some of the appetizers and the brunch menu for anyone curious about the options, which were immense! The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, which added that extra awe to the experience. You could tell they truly cared about the menu and creating an authentic dining moment. Although Chef José Garcés isn't Spanish himself, the execution was impressive, with so many thoughtful nods to Spain's culinary traditions and design. One of my favorite details was the design of the restaurant itself. The ambiance was calming and secluded, with beautiful tiled floors (no carpet--yay!), and the bathrooms were a standout. Their Spanish-style decor and design added to the authenticity, making the experience feel cohesive from start to finish. I can't wait to go back and relive this experience. Highly recommended!

Service Is amazing!!!! Had a reservation for 8:30pm but reached at 7pm and got seated! The food was yummy! We got a variety of tapas - vegetarian and meat - all were really good.. They have bird cage seating which looks so cool! To get one of those, when you reserve online make a note "bird cage" and they'll do their best to get you seated there.

Lovely restaurant! Great service from the staff. We got seated in one of those bird cage tables overlooking the ocean. The menu had a good selections of food. We ordered a bunch of tapas and entree to share. We enjoyed the food. The octopus was nice and tender. We didnt care for the chorizo. The fried pototes was a little bland. The Brussels sprouts were good. The chip and dip that was free was soo good! Overall we had a great time but the meal was really expensive. Definitely a splurge

Phenomenal experience! We did a group dinner for a bachelorette and the service was incredible! The table they set up for us was beautiful and the food was delicious. The risotto was my personal favorite, don't miss the pan tomate and the bacon wrapped dates. I would love to go back!

The food was great. The 3 men bartending were phenomenal and friendly. The gambas bravas were worth the heartburn. We also had the skirt steak of pork. Wow. The crème brûlée was delicious. As well as the mushroom truffle risotto. Highly recommended

Amada at Ocean Resort in Atlantic City is always a must-visit when we're in town. I stick to the paella and tapas everytime and honestly, that's all you need. The paella is always the star of the show; rich, flavorful, and consistently cooked to perfection. As for the tapas, I highly recommend the grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, lamb meatballs, crispy potatoes, and the green salad. Each dish brings something unique to the table and pairs perfectly with the rest. Only small gripe, they don't carry hot sauce. But they do offer red chili peppers, which give your food that spicy kick without overpowering the original flavors. The vibe, the food, and the consistency keep us coming back. We've also been to the Philly location and love it too but there's just something about the view of the ocean that makes it extra special.

48 hours later and I am still dreaming about their cured serrano ham with fig salad! This place has incredible food, and fully worth the price, except for maybe the deviled eggs and flatbreads. Just give us the second egg half, and add an inch or two to the flatbreads and you have the best restaurant in AC. Service was better at the seats than at the bar, but we were also seated at an awkward side of the bar, so kind of understandable. Do get the sangria, both are fabulous, we went with the red for dinner and the white for brunch, but both times we had to get the salad. Looks kind of weird but the goodness that is uncovered when you start opening it up is unmatched. Deviled eggs were good, but the octopus was better and a more decent portion for the price. Other amazing recommendations are the scallops -- delicious but they fillet them which is a bummer for cutting corners, and the lamb meatballs were also very good and highly recommend. The ambiance is very classy, but also can be a bit business casual during the day.

Food was great! The scallops and Brussels sprouts were delicious. The shrimp and scallops tasted very fresh. The service was excellent as well. Our server was patient in explaining all of their offerings. The ambiance is beautiful and has a view of the beach. I love the open dome seating- very cool and romantic. I do feel like the waiters try to sell you more food, so stick to what you feel comfortable ordering with the appetite you have.

Food was amazing. Super creative small plates. Very small in fact Service was not great. Took us 20 mins to get drinks @ bar while waiting for table. Then our server had too far apart sections. It took him long to get us more drinks & ask if we needed anything else. Had to keep searching for him. Nice guy felt bad. But it was a bummer for sure. Ambiance was good. We had the best table by the big windows. Thankfully! I suggest eating/drinking @ high tops by bar. Service would be faster. From what I saw last night.

Disappointing Experience at Amada We will never return to Amada. There are simply too many other dining options available. It makes us wonder if the Ocean Resort intentionally hires the most incompetent servers. Upon being seated, our server, who introduced himself as Roger, approached us with an unusual demeanor reminiscent of a character from The Sopranos. While his personality was memorable, it felt out of place. He quickly rattled off the specials and took our drink orders before disappearing. When he returned with our drinks, we placed our food orders. Two of us chose the special Ceviche appetizer, one ordered "Prawns" (which were far from jumbo), and another opted for the Goat Cheese and Fig Jam. The "Prawns" and Goat Cheese arrived, but we were left waiting for the Ceviche. After about ten minutes, as we finished our other dishes, a food runner came to clear our plates and set down fresh utensils. We inquired about the missing Ceviche, but the runner had no idea what we were talking about. Where was our server? Nowhere to be found. The runner went back to the kitchen and returned to inform us that the Ceviche was still being prepared. Frustrated, we decided to cancel the appetizers. Three of us ordered the "special" Salmon over Risotto, while one person ordered a special 40oz steak cooked medium, as promised by Roger. When the food arrived, we received the salmon but no steak. Roger casually strolled by and asked how everything was. We informed him about the missing Ceviche, and he replied, "Oh, I'll get them now." We had to remind him that we had already canceled them, as they wanted to serve the appetizers alongside our entrees. Finally, the steak arrived, but it was already sliced and far from medium. It was practically mooing. We sent it back, and by this time, our salmon had gone cold. The second steak that came out was an improvement but still a hard medium rare. To top it off, the steak was so full of gristle that we ended up bagging it for our dog. When the check did arrive, this Server decided it was a good idea to tell us that the table next door kept ordering items which the kitchen "ran out on." This was NOT just 1 Special sold out, but a litany of Menu Items. It was awkward to hear this from an employee of the restaurant. And he was laughing about it. We're pretty sure the table next to us didn't find it amusing. No class for sure Rog. In summary, our experience at Amada was incredibly disappointing. The service was abysmal, and the food did not meet expectations. Roger might want to consider a different line of work. Just saying.

Service is excellent & all of the dishes we had were perfectly cooked & presented beautifully! It's the perfect place for a special occasion with a group or a romantic date night. Try to make a reservation for one of the bird cage dining tables for the best ocean view! When I visited, I had the following items: Blanca & Tinta Sangria $14/each Huevos Rellenos (Deviled Eggs)$12 Piquillos Rellenos (Crab Stuffed Peppers $14 Datiles (Bacon Wrapped Dates) $15 Patatas Bravas (Crispy Potatoes) $10 Vieiras (Diver Scallops) $26 Coca de Costillas de Ternera (Beef Shortrib Flatbread) $17 Almejas con Chorizo (Steamed Clams) $15 Their menu is expansive with many other delicious sounding options. I'm dying to go back to try their Paella!

Came on a Thursday night for an 8:30p res. I appreciated that they texted me around 8p just reminding me that they stop taking dinner orders around 8:45p. Very easy to forget the time in a casino hotel. We showed up right on time and was seated by the window - looked out at the ocean and the ferris wheel. Service was very nice. We started with the tomato bread (which was like a bruschetta) and crispy potatoes (different from what I expected). Both were very tasty and we cleaned the plates. I liked the crispy exterior and soft/fluffy interior for the potatoes. Tomato bread was very fresh and bright. I had the zarzuela - basically a seafood stew with chicken. To me, the chicken didn't need to be in there. I like everything else except the chicken. Felt our of place. The broth was delicious and savory. My husband's wagyu steak (which was 70 something dollars) was much smaller than I expected for the price. Luckily, the flavor made up for the price, but still. My espresso martini was also great. My husband had a cappuccino and said it was great as well. Truly an excellent dinner.

We sat at the bar for their Sangria Sunday special. They opened at 5pm this day & by 5:30 the place (esp the bar area) was quite full. We ordered a few drinks which were really good - white sangria & margaritas. Hubby also ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich which he said was ok. Bartenders were quick. It's in the Ocean Casino.

Such a Beautiful Restaurant, service was memorable, Food was fantastic!!! Tapas menu, so you can try all your favorites. Your meal will arrive in pairs so your table can sample everything. If dining in the evening, be aware the restaurant is extremely dark, one little tea light on the table is definitely not enough. Tapas are great for mid day, that will be my next visit, it's extremely dark to see or read the menu.

It's rare that I rate five stars, but Amada blew me away. Had a reservation before seeing a show at the casino, started with a couple of gin and tonics, both delicious. Got going with small plates which were served very quickly-all delicious. It was interesting the way they handled Service; we had two servers who would stop by fairly frequently without intruding. They did a great job, making sure that all of our needs were met. It was a cool ambiance, looking out over the ocean, light music going. There didn't seem to be a bad choice on the entire menu, would like to visit again. Next time, maybe try the paella.

Celebrates Valentine's Day at Amada in Atlantic City. If you're ever craving incredible tapas with ocean views, This beachside gem offers perfectly cooked chorizo, tender octopus, and juicy lamb--all packed with flavor at great prices. Pair it with a refreshing sangria, ice-cold cerveza, or smooth tequila while soaking in the sea breeze. Whether it's a casual bite or a night out with friends, this spot is a must-visit. Located inside the new Ocean resort this was a hidden gem.

Food was good, but bartender kept forgetting our orders - starting with our drinks...though we were seated at the bar on July 4th without a reservation. Then he forgot the main entree lobster, which was the reason we picked that restaurant. Then the empanadas were very cold inside and hot outside. Up and down experience. Good view of the boardwalk.

Food was solid although nothing mind blowing. The service is horrendous though. Don't bother coming here for a special occasion like a birthday. Put in the notes that it was my fiancé's birthday thinking we would get a decent table by the water (nope) or the server would at the minimum acknowledge it and bring something out at the end (nope). Nothing. Why even have the option to put a special occasion when making the reservation if you're not going to acknowledge it? The type of stuff that separates just okay restaurants from good ones.

This review is specific towards the service from the hostess. The food itself is fine. Our experience: We had a reservation for 8:30 for 12 people on a Saturday night. We called ahead 3 weeks in advance to confirm this reservation, then followed up shortly before the dinner to reconfirm. This was a double birthday dinner so it was important to us that our reservation was confirmed. At around 8pm, we saw a large table that could seat up to 14 empty and available. We asked to be seated there, and the hostess was not interested in helping, just said no and refused to elaborate further. We did not push and simply asked to please let us know when a table was open so we could make our way back over. Come the time of dinner, we are told to wait another 45 minutes since the table wasn't ready. (What is the point of a reservation?) At this point, our group was getting hungry, so we just asked if the staff could push two bar tables together and we would just eat there. It was rather uncomfortable and dimly lit; these tables are for people eating at the bar and to watch the TV's, not for a proper birthday dinner. I have a strong suspicion it's because our entire group was Asian, and not a white-passing group. The empty table that could seat 14 was given to a group that just walked in and asked to be seated, instead of us, who called ahead, made reservations, and confirmed. A waitress even apologized to us during dinner that we weren't able to be seated at a proper table, and that she did not understand why the hostess didn't care to seat us at a proper table and instead gave away a suitable table to a group that walked in versus had a reservation. The fact that the waitress went out of her way to apologize to us shows us that we were valid in feeling mistreated by the hostess. Aside from the problems with just getting seated, the food itself took a while to come out (30-45 minutes). All in all, would not recommend. The food here isn't special enough to put up with vaguely racially-charged mistreatment. As a person of color and still a paying customer, I'm not surprised, just disappointed.

We come to AC often and it's not for gambling. Side note: our son plays semi-professional basketball and we come to support him. When we visit AD I try to find a different place to eat. Saw this place on our last visit and made a note to try it next time. Fast forward, we purchased tickets for a concert (AC Jazz Fest) held at the Ocean and I immediately made reservation at Amada This restaurant is perfect for a dinner party, date night or even just for drinks. The entire place has great ambiance, beautiful view of the ocean and delicious food. We would gladly come again.

Came here to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, and the experience was so lovely and thoughtful. We were seated in this gorgeous carriage-like table, but our server, Raul was the standout, being extremely attentive throughout the dinner. Cherry on top was the dessert and champagne presented at the end of the dinner!

I wouldn't call it 'fine dining'. The presentation was good but taste is what matters... 2 stars at best. Many dishes were lukewarm or cold, crispy dishes were not crispy, and blend. There's not much to say about this place. Once is good enough.

Went to Amada for the hundredth time last night and the food like always was delicious. We had the octopus, mushroom flatbread, Brussels and my favorite dish the garlic shrimp . Everything was awesome! More impressive is the service which is out of the top fantastic every time we go. It's not only the waitress but the asst waitress busboys and managers who go out of their way to make sure we had an excellent experience. Bravo!

Fantastic food, super friendly service, made me absolutely comfortable with their knowledge of what was GF and what was not. We were essentially a walk in and I asked about sitting in the birdcages along the window. They were all reserved but as we were putting in a drink order they had a cancellation and asked if we wanted to move to the window. Awesome! So we wound up with a really awesome waitress & guy who was bussing the table. Everyone was super competent and friendly. Such a cool space, I forgot I was inside a casino.

This is probably the best place to eat at if you are visiting Ocean. For dinner the table shared the tasting menu which included: The CHARCUTERÍA Y QUESOS - which was a super nice selection of options from the chef. COCA DE ALCACHOFAS Y SETAS ARTICHOKE & MUSHROOM Black Truffles, Manchego - This was one of the best small plates we got served. DÁTILES BACON-WRAPPED DATES Almonds, La Peral - Well, I take that back, maybe this was the best one! ENTRECÔTE 10 oz, Wagyu NY Strip, Snake River Farms - Amazingly, we actually could have passed on this one. There were a few others as well, including dessert. Overall, everything was very good to great and service was a bit on the "too quick" side, especially after being told things would take a while since they were busy. It was getting to the point where we were shuffling things on the table just to make room. Yes, it could have been better paced. Yet, in summary, like I started, this has been the best meal I have had at the Ocean. Is it a destination meal? Probably not, but if you are here then certainly make this your top choice.

Came on a weekend night and it was busy. Recommend reservations here. The service was friendly and timely. The plates are on the smaller side. We had the Wagyu steak, garlic shrimp and clams con chorizo. All were very flavorful! The gin and tonic bar gives you a huge drink for the price. I would come back here and recommend trying at least once!

Really awesome dinner! Great views of the ocean from the window! Came for my dads bday with a party of 4 and we shared a bunch of things including the paella, the Brussels, the short rib, flatbread, the octopus, and a and a steak. We also had some drinks, which really stood out! The margaritas are on point! Definitely worth visiting while in AC!

Had dinner here yesterday for my Bday and decided to write this review while the experience is still fresh in my head. First off, the waiter Andrew was superb! He was friendly, patient and VERY informative. He checked on me frequently and is very charming and caring. Such a gem! Now to the food, started with the bacon wrapped dates, they were very appetizing. They were sweet, smoky and and tasty as expected. Five pieces of bite sized goodness! The main event, the Wagyu Steak, was off the hook!! It was so delicious and worth every dollar! I haven't had steak this good in a long time! It was slightly charred, seasoned and cooked to perfection! It was served with 3 sauces, but was good on its own! Kudos to the chef!! Amada does not serve mashed potatoes, however the Patatas Bravas were the perfect substitute side. It paired very well with my steak. They were slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a smokey flavor. Also tried the Brussel sprouts, which were ok. I'm not really a Brussel sprout kind of person..i'm sure a Brussel sprout lover would've appreciated it. Andrew knew it was my bday so he brought out a complimentary bday ice cream dessert with a candle in it after my meal. :-) Amada is the perfect restaurant for special occasions and date nights. The ambiance is impeccable and the ocean views are breathtaking. Try to get there before it gets dark to take in the beautiful Ocean scenery. I'll gladly return here on my next visit to AC.

Amada still has its ambiance intact. The food continues to be good and offers a nice dining experience overall.

The food was different from your usual and exquisitely delicious. We had the Chef's Tasting Special with 9-10 plates course and every single one of them were delicious. I think we sent back one mushroom dish and our kind waitress was able to accommodate us. I want to preface this review by saying that I absolutely love Amada (in Philly) and it is one of my favorite restaurants. We've been to the AC location now for the third time and we have always had a pleasant time. Unfortunately this last time we left super dissatisfied. Our party of 11 spent over a grand on our meal. $350 of that was spent on partially burnt paella and $75 on burnt Wagyu. When I say burnt I don't mean nicely charred, like our other cuts of meat we ordered, such as our cowboy steak, shrimp, and pork. I mean so burnt that they were inediblely bitter and basically tasted like soot. We ended up asking them to remake the Wagyu, so the server took it back to the kitchen, but came out and said the chef recommended that we just order a different plate because that's how it's supposed to be. Um, ok. I've had Wagyu many times and burnt beyond consumption is not how it is supposed to be served, but whatever. We decided not to order another plate since we had the giant paella anyway. But, they STILL charged us for the Wagyu! If they were going to charge us (which any reputable restaurant shouldn't) then they should've at the very least given us our steak back! How can they charge us for food that they didn't even give us? This last meal put a bitter taste in our mouths, figuratively and literally. ETA: After contacting them 3 times, they finally offered to refund us ALMOST the full amount of the steak, which doesn't really "resolve" the issue as the manager below responded.

My review is SO LONG OVERDUE! This place was quite a wonderful experience, made memorable and personal thanks to a wonderful server we met named Andrew. Andrew was the prime example of upmost hospitality, high quality service, and the impressive knowledge of the Amada menu. He was able to make recommendations upon recommendations, plus, he was charming and very funny. My husband and I really enjoyed chatting and ordering different items from the menu throughout our dinner. We enjoyed the appetizer The CHARCUTERÍA Y QUESOS ( a mixed board of meats and cheese) the complimentary tuna and capers, the Brussel sprouts, octopus, the special cut of black pork, and the olive oil cake. We ordered champagne and their blood orange cocktail. They offer a full bar and top shelf selections. The ambiance is cosy, romantic and spacious. I came for a later reservation and I felt like I had plenty of space and comfort.

One of the best dining experiences of my life. We tried quite the selection of dishes and absolutely each one was phenomenal. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. This is a must try restaurant for a fabulous meal.

Every dish is perfect. The only complain is the lobster seafood paella .the lobster has a ammonia smell and the meat is not firmed. I was a bit concern about the freshness. Service is great!

Our annual visit to Garces' Amada in AC. It never disappoints. The view from our table. Papayas Braves, herbed and seared tuna, Manchego cheese with truffled lavender honey, bacon wrapped dates, huevos relleno, pernil asado, all washed down with a grapefruit/rosemary G&T for Alice and an old fashioned for me. I would crawl through broken glass to get to the dates. Nice recovery from the minor glitches on our last visit. Good job staff.

2 stars. Well the food is decent overall. Some great. Some just ok. However, it is an unpleasant rushed experience. Plus the portions are tiny for the price. We were a Party of 6, we spent about $225 on just food no drinks. 6 or 7 different items. We gave our food and food just comes out. We finished dinner in under 30 minutes. Not an experience I will ever repeat. I thought the octopus had great crust and flavor. The garlic shrimp ok, the patasa bravas were ok, the cheese board is a RIP OFF of unbelievable proportions. The flatbreads were good. The clams were good.

Went again for my husband's birthday and our anniversary. We went the first day of a new menu. They still had some of our favorite dishes, the dates and garlic shrimp, but no longer have the steak he would normally get, which forced him to try something new. He tried the scallops and enjoyed them. I opted for the special, which was a ribeye. It was delicious. Once again, I saved some to share with my son in his room, and he enjoyed it. The cocktail I wanted was also no longer available, but I enjoyed the replacement. The server was great, and the manager stopped by, and she was equally wonderful. We had asked for a table with a view when placing the reservation, and they accommodated us, but due to the weather, we asked if we could sit in 1 of the bird cage tables and the obliged.

I loveee the scallops here! My friends order me a separate order just so I don't have to share, the wagyu is delicious also. The tapas are decent and sangria is good and not watered down, while paella is most of everyone's favorite, I think the rice is a bit soggy for me. I enjoy the tapas more than the actual entrees. Ambience is nice, service is good, one of the better restaurants in Ocean or a casino in general.

Dining at Amanda was horrible. Waited for over an hour for entree and then was charged for it when we said we had to catch a show. The waiter said he could not remove the charge - so we asked for the manager- who came out and yelled at us saying we did t wait that long. Won't go back. Ever.
