"Unlike many of the other restaurants in the east of Paris, this one has gone for classic elegance: a refined decor, tablecloths, stylish service. Perhaps this is the mark of the good taste of Italian couple Cecilia Spurio (pastry) and Eugenio Anfuso (cooking), who are familiar with Michelin-starred restaurants. Prepared with small pieces of citrus fruit and cashew nuts, the smoked Galician veal tartare is served in a sea urchin shell, topped with a quenelle of sea urchin ice cream. For his red mullet à la bourguignonne, the chef arranges the fish on shredded beef and cabbage leaves, the whole of which is then doused with a superb sauce. This is a modern iteration of the French repertoire, punctuated by a few Italian touches or other influences from further afield, executed with precision and a clear penchant for acidic notes." - Michelin Inspector

This will most likely be the best restaurant you experience when you visit Paris! 11/10 - I plan to visit every time I come back to the city. Before arriving at the restaurant, I knew the service was going to be amazing; they allowed us to modify our reservation from 3 to 2 people as one of us had to drop out due to an emergency. When we arrived, the atmosphere and treatment of their customers were high quality and luxurious yet retained a close-knit and genuine environment. The food was top notch - there were so many exquisite flavors in each small bite. I literally CANNOT pick a favorite. The quality and amount of food was phenomenal for how decently priced this Michelin star dinner was. The best part was the people - Chef Eugenio and Chef Cecilia and our servers, especially Kai were so kind, genuine, and attentive! My sister did not drink and they were more than happy to provide alternatives that allowed both of us to experience the dessert. We loved their homemade butter and bread so much that we wanted to take what we couldn’t eat onsite - they instead packed brand new bread & butter for us to take away. We blew through 3 hours at this place and it felt like minutes have only passed. That is how much fun we had at this place. Love Amâlia and will continue to spread the word of how lovely this place is to everyone who is willing to listen.

One of the best dinners we ever had! The level of taste and originality is truly extraordinary. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a second star. Service was really good. The restaurant is small and it’s clear that the owners really care about their guests. Only two small remarks: wine pairing is rather expensive (100 eur for 5 glasses) even if wines were amazing and the sommelier was outstanding. Also, there were some small spots around us who needed some cleaning (like the knob from the heating element).

I visited Amalia restaurant for a family celebration, and it was wonderful. From the moment we were seated to the moment the owners saw us off, every detail was filled with great care and a warm atmosphere. Driven by curiosity and the desire to try new and different flavors, we were definitely pleased. Chef Cecilia Spurio and Chef Eugenio Anfuso thank you and your team. It was pleasure.

Loved the 8-course tasting menu! Not cheap but fairly priced. Wine pairing menu too expensive though, and wine options also quite steep. Great service, nice and attentive staff, food was a great experience and I highly recommend it. Cozy, smart casual atmosphere, dinner service took around 3hours (for planning purposes).

Our visit to AMÂLIA was a delight. We had no trouble securing a 6:30 pm slot for two when we booked two weeks in advance. Our table offered a clear view of the open kitchen and the hardworking chefs. Overall, the meal showcased a creative menu, friendly staff, and an experience worthy of its one Michelin star. Food - Both of us chose the LE GRAND MENU AMÂLIA, an eight-course tasting menu that concluded with petit fours. Hong added the €20 Kristal caviar supplement to the scallop dish. The menu felt well-balanced overall, though it leaned noticeably toward seafood. - Every dish displayed varied textures and multiple layers of complementary flavours. The ingredient combinations were highly creative, with some surprising pairings that worked beautifully. - Standout dishes included: - The RED MULLET ‘À LA BOURGUIGNONNE’, a clever reinterpretation of the classic beef bourguignon. Perfectly cooked red mullet sat atop tender beef wrapped in sour spinach—an unexpected fish-and-beef pairing that tasted extraordinary. - The FROZEN PEAR dessert, served with a Dijon mustard caramel sauce. Hong was initially sceptical about the mustard, but it cut brilliantly through the richness of the goat cheese mousse. - The SPICY SCALLOPS featured a single scallop with nduja, watercress, and ginger sauce. Unfortunately, the scallop was slightly overcooked and had a rubbery texture—a disappointing miss for an otherwise promising dish. When we mentioned it, the staff handled the feedback gracefully and thanked us. The caviar supplement, while tasty and harmonious, ultimately felt unnecessary. - The black-lemon smoked butter for the bread was delicious but arrived mid-meal with no explanation. We were left eating plain bread for quite some time, unsure whether the delay was intentional. Service - The main hostess was exceptionally warm, spoke perfect English, and showed genuine passion for the food. She happily elaborated on dishes that intrigued us and recommended a non-alcoholic Amaretto Sour to pair with the 70% CHOCOLATE dessert—it was a surprising and delicious match. - The team was generally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. - A few servers had limited English, which occasionally made dish explanations unclear and led to some details being lost in translation. - Minor issues: our water glasses often went unnoticed, forcing us to refill them ourselves throughout the meal. There was also a long, awkward wait for the bill—tables who asked after us were served first. Atmosphere - The seating was quiet and intimate, with a minimalist yet professional décor. - Table lamps placed directly in the centre of the table looked elegant but disrupted the intimate feel and made conversation awkward across the light. We ended up moving the lamp to one side for most of the evening. With an updated menu, perhaps we could return again for a future visit! :) / double takes by Sara and Hong Yau /

Very good. Not the best and didn't blow my mind, but i enjoyed my time :) Lovely music, its palatable but i heard no songs i was familiar with which i enjoyed. Great staff, things just magically appear and disappear from the table they are so vigilant but not overbearing. Food was great, fairly priced for what you get to experience and taste.

We have travelled all over the world and had many delicious dinners but this one really stands out! We were fortunate to sit at the chef’s table so Eugenio helped us the entire time. The food was incredibly inventive and extraordinarily tasty. Can’t recommend this high enough! Would give it 6 stars!!

We celebrated our 5-year anniversary here and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish felt special and carefully crafted. Cecilia and Eugenio, the owners, are not only incredibly talented but also so kind, which made the whole evening feel even more personal and welcoming. The service was outstanding, both our waiter and the sommelier were excellent, and the wine pairing was spot on. We also really appreciated the flexibility when my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well on our original reservation date; they kindly let us move our booking, which shows how thoughtful they are. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience for us. We felt comfortable, celebrated in style, and left already talking that we’ll come back. Highly recommended!
